Abstract

Pengenalan peta Asia Tenggara merupakan salah satu pokok bahasan Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial di SD. Dengan metode pembelajaran manual konvensional, siswa mudah bosan dan menyulitkan siswa untuk tertarik dengan hal tersebut. Permainan edukasi dapat dijadikan alternatif terhadap metode pembelajaran konvensional untuk meningkatkan minat belajar siswa. Keuntungan dari permainan edukatif dibandingkan dengan metode pembelajaran tradisional adalah memiliki lebih banyak visualisasi dan interaktivitas. Pengembangan game edukasi pengenalan geografis Asia Tenggara yang disebut 'Eksplorasi ASEAN' dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode SDLC dari Royce dengan model waterfall. Permainan ini diharapkan mampu membantu siswa dalam belajar tentang geografi Asia Tenggara. Uji coba permainan dilakukan dengan purposive sampling di "SD Muhammadiyah 2 Surakarta" melibatkan tiga guru kelas enam dan 20 siswa kelas enam dengan kuesioner sebagai metode pengumpulan data. Berdasarkan pengujian Blackbox dapat disimpulkan bahwa game berjalan seperti yang diharapkan pada smartphone dan komputer pribadi. Pada penelitian ini, tes pada game dari validasi ahli material berada pada kategori 'Sangat Layak'. Adapun hasil tes SUS yang dilakukan oleh siswa, sistemnya masuk kategori 'Acceptable'. Hasil tes menyimpulkan bahwa permainan edukasi telah memenuhi persyaratan materi dan layak dijadikan sebagai bagian dari media pembelajaran.

Abstract

Advances in digital technology have had a significant impact on various aspects of life, including the spread of religious teachings. 'Aisyiyah Branch (PRA) Joyosuran faces challenges in the cadre and members' understanding of compulsory worship in accordance with Tarjih Muhammadiyah. This service program aims to improve 'Aisyiyah members' understanding of compulsory worship through workshops and the use of the Kader-Mu digital application. The methods used include Focus Group Discussion (FGD), workshop and practice, and evaluation using pretest and posttest. The results obtained showed an increase in members' understanding after participating in the activity, with an increase in the average pretest score of 84 to 95 in the posttest. Statistical evaluation through paired t-test showed a significant increase in members' understanding of Al Islam and Kemuhammadiyahan. Thus, this program makes a real contribution in supporting digital da'wah and strengthening regeneration in the 'Aisyiyah environment, especially for the Joyosuran branch.

Abstract

Background: The Indonesian government promotes health at the school level by developing School Health Program or Usaha Kesehatan Sekolah (UKS). However, the evaluation and monitoring of these program are still weak. The assessment of the UKS indicators then becomes the basis for the UKS classification, which is referred to as stratification. Therefore, this study aimed to design a UKS stratification system by utilizing school self-assessments. Method: This study used a research and development with the development of the SDLC-prototype model. This research was conducted at three elementary schools, two junior high schools, and two community health centers in Boyolali District. The model was developed in three stages: defining system requirements, designing the systems, and developing prototypes. Findings: The study found that the informants felt it necessary to have the system and were increasingly assisted in developing the UKS with the system. The system was created using the MySQL database. The UKS stratification system is named Sistauks.net, which can be operated from a mobile phone or laptop. Sistauks.net consists of school data entries, the UKS administration and infrastructure, health education, health service indicators, and indicators for fostering a healthy school environment. Conclusion: Sistauks.net can automatically identify the right UKS stratification for elementary or junior high schools by completing an assessment in the system. In addition, health center staff that holds the UKS program can also see the results of the submissions from their partner schools. Using the system will make analysis results faster and more accurate.

Abstract

Sharing customer transaction data is becoming more perceived in e-commerce and retail industries. Even though the act derives benefits for companies, it may end up in certain privacy threats, such as sensitive personal preferences disclosure. Therefore, the data owner should take measures to minimize the threats. Data anonymization is one of the solutions that has been suggested to address the issue. However, there are still underlying problems, specifically in diminishing the amount of information loss and item loss, as well as maintaining data properties of the anonymized dataset. This paper proposes a unique data anonymization scheme called COMATS. It adopts the brood parasitism behavior of cuckoo birds in laying their eggs into host nests. The scheme incorporates item insertion technique and item suppression technique. The robustness of the proposed scheme lies in its strategy for selecting suppressed items and determining the inserted items. To ensure its efficacy, the proposed method is evaluated in several experiments. The experimental results suggest that the COMATS can guarantee privacy protection by reducing the probability of a successful attack. Additionally, it can also reduce the number of item losses and preserve better data utility in comparison to existing data anonymization schemes.

Abstract

Indonesia has a rich culinary diversity, encompassing various types of food from different regions. In the current era of technological advancement, the application of artificial intelligence has grown significantly across multiple sectors, including in the identification of Indonesian food images. This research provides the impact of various image preprocessing techniques on the AI-based food identification system. The preprocessing methods examined include Zero Component Analysis (ZCA), Histogram Equalization (HE), Contrast Stretching, and Image Sharpening. The evaluation of these preprocessing methods was conducted to determine which technique provides the best performance in assisting the identification of Indonesian food using a Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) with a ResNet-50 transfer learning model. Performance measurement was carried out using a confusion matrix by calculating Accuracy, precision, recall, and F1-score. The results of this research show that the use of the Image Sharpening method yields higher accuracy and precision on the testing data compared to other methods, those are 0.9748 and 0.98, respectively. Next, a high level of accuracy was also demonstrated by the Contrast Stretching method, with an accuracy score of 0.9712.

Abstract

Judging from daily activities, human beings heavily rely on the internet for communication purposes. and exchange information using either social media applications or browsers, vonsistently fast internet speeds are incredibly beneficial for performing tasks and activities, particularly for students and professionals. A sluggish internet connection can be frustrating and may lead to interruptions in online activities and tasks if it persists. Hence, this study examines a comparative evaluation of two approaches, Per Connection Classifier (PCC) and Equal Cost Multi-Path (ECMP) in Load Balancing through GNS3 simulation. Load balancing, as a method for evenly distributing traffic loads, and failover, as a backup mechanism when the main connection experiences problems. GNS3 is a graphical network simulator program that can transmit more complex network topologies compared to other simulators, for example Cisco Packet Tracer. The primary aim of this study is to comprehend how efficiently both techniques distribute traffic loads, maintaining smooth internet access, and increasing reliability. The PCC method produces better throughput, delay and jitter compared to the ECMP method, even though it has slightly different values for each QoS parameter. In testing traffic distribution, the PCC method outperforms the ECMP method. The PCC method can distribute traffic evenly across both ISP lines when downloading and uploading data packets. Meanwhile, the ECMP method can only carry out download and upload activities on one traffic path.

Abstract

Pimpinan Ranting Muhammadiyah (PRM) Ngemplak yang berada di kecamatan Kartosuro Kabupaten Sukoharjo merupakan salah satu ranting Muhammadiyah yang berada pada daerah dengan populasi masyarakat muslim yang minoritas, sehingga dibutuhkan upaya dan strategi yang baik dalam melakukan dakwah dan memperluas syair islam dan kemuhammadiyahan pada lingkungan tersebut. Namun, dalam pelaksanaan dan mengenalkan kegiatan tersebut terkendala dengan sosilalisasi ke warga sekitar. Saat ini terdapat beberapa masalah yang timbul akibat tidak diterapkan sistem informasi, seperti kesulitan dalam melakukan sosialisasi kegiatan yang akan dijadwalkan dan dokumentasi kegiatan sebelumnya. Kegiatan yang sudah terlaksana di PRM Ngemplak masih di informasikan secara manual melalui grup Whatsapp dan di tempel di papan pengumuman, sehingga terkadang informasi mengenai kegiatan belum tersampaikan secara maksimal. Program kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan aplikasi berbasis Website pada Pimpinan Muhammadiyah Ranting Ngemplak sehingga dapat digunakan sebagai media sosialisasi seluruh kegiatan di organisasi serta dokumentasi kegiatan yang telah berkangsung. Kegiatan ini dilanjutkan pelatihan pengelolaan aplikasi website tersebut kepada Pimpinan Muhammadiyah Ranting Ngemplak.

Abstract

Digitalisasi pendidikan menuntut sistem presensi yang cepat, akurat, dan transparan. SMA Muhammadiyah Al Kautsar PK Kartasura telah memiliki sistem presensi otomatis, namun belum optimal karena keterbatasan koneksi, perangkat, dan belum adanya notifikasi real-time bagi orang tua. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan mengembangkan sistem presensi berbasis Android yang terintegrasi dengan notifikasi real-time dan dashboard web, serta meningkatkan kapasitas SDM sekolah. Metode yang digunakan adalah Participatory Action Research (PAR) dengan tahapan persiapan, pelaksanaan, monitoring, dan evaluasi. Sistem dikembangkan menggunakan PHP–Laravel, Flutter, dan Firebase. Hasil implementasi menunjukkan bahwa sistem dapat berfungsi dengan baik dalam proses pencatatan presensi dan pengiriman notifikasi keterlambatan. Respons awal dari guru, admin, dan orang tua menunjukkan penerimaan yang positif, meskipun evaluasi yang dilakukan masih bersifat kualitatif dan observasional. Temuan awal ini mengindikasikan peningkatan efisiensi proses presensi dan transparansi komunikasi sekolah dan orang tua, walaupun pengukuran kuantitatif lebih lanjut masih diperlukan untuk menilai dampak secara lebih komprehensif. Android-based Automatic Attendance System with Real-Time Notification Integration to Parents Abstract The digitalization of education demands a fast, accurate, and transparent attendance system. Muhammadiyah Al Kautsar PK Kartasura High School already has an automated attendance system, but it is not yet optimal due to limited connectivity, devices, and the lack of real-time notifications for parents. This community service activity aims to develop an Android-based attendance system integrated with real-time notifications and a web dashboard, as well as to improve the school's human resource capacity. The method used is Participatory Action Research (PAR) with stages of preparation, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation. The system was developed using PHP–Laravel, Flutter, and Firebase. The implementation results show a fast attendance process and successful late notifications are automatically sent to parents' WhatsApp. The web dashboard facilitates daily and monthly data recaps. This system has been proven to increase the efficiency, accuracy, and transparency of student attendance management and supports the implementation of inclusive and sustainable educational technology.
