Abstract

Pengembangan kebijakan pariwisata berkelanjutan memainkan peran penting dalam melestarikan budaya lokal dan nasional. Penelitian ini menganalisis kerangka kebijakan untuk pengembangan pariwisata berkelanjutan di Indonesia dan kontribusinya terhadap pelestarian warisan budaya. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam dengan pejabat pemerintah, pemangku kepentingan industri pariwisata, dan ahli warisan budaya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi bagaimana kebijakan pariwisata berkelanjutan dapat selaras dengan upaya pelestarian budaya, khususnya dalam menyeimbangkan pertumbuhan ekonomi dan perlindungan identitas budaya. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa meskipun kebijakan saat ini mendukung pertumbuhan pariwisata, terdapat tantangan dalam memastikan kebijakan tersebut mampu melindungi tradisi lokal dan warisan budaya secara memadai. Integrasi partisipasi komunitas dan praktik tradisional ke dalam strategi pariwisata diidentifikasi sebagai faktor kunci untuk mencapai keberlanjutan. Rekomendasi bagi pembuat kebijakan mencakup perlunya kolaborasi yang lebih kuat antara sektor pariwisata dan pelestarian budaya, serta peningkatan upaya untuk meningkatkan kesadaran wisatawan tentang pentingnya pelestarian warisan budaya. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi pada kajian tentang pariwisata berkelanjutan dengan menekankan pentingnya pelestarian identitas budaya dalam kerangka pengembangan pariwisata.

Abstract

This study investigates the role of organizational culture, adaptability, and performance of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in facing market dynamics and technological developments. Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) have a very important role in the economy, but often experience challenges in the adaptation process due to the lack of support from the right organizational culture. This study aims to explore the characteristics of organizational culture and adaptability in improving the performance of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). The results of the study show that an organizational culture that supports adaptation and innovation can significantly improve the performance of micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs). The ability to adapt helps MSMEs respond to change and strengthens an organizational culture that is sensitive to needs. The results of this study indicate that the Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) sector needs to implement an adaptive organizational culture to increase competitiveness and ensure survival in an ever-changing market.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of the supervisory function as an instrument for improving public services at the Inspectorate of Kendari City. In the context of decentralization and local governance, internal supervision has a vital role to encourage transparency, accountability, and service effectiveness. Through a descriptive qualitative approach, data were obtained from interviews, observations, and documentation, with key informants from the Inspectorate. The results show that the supervision implemented includes internal auditing, setting work standards, as well as measuring results and correcting deviations. This function has contributed to improved governance and improved services, although challenges remain in the implementation of recommendations and public participation. This research confirms the importance of supervision based on good governance values and suggests optimizing participatory supervision strategies and utilizing information technology for more contextual and sustainable supervisory effectiveness. The research findings emphasize that supervision is not only administrative but also strategic in encouraging continuous improvement and responsiveness to community needs. This research contributes academically by filling the literature gap related to supervision and the quality of public services at the local level, and offers practical recommendations for optimizing the role of the Inspectorate.Keywords: Supervisory Function, Public Service, Accountability, Inspectorate, Good Governance.

Abstract

Difficulties in writing a thesis are a common challenge faced by students at the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Halu Oleo University. Many students encounter obstacles in understanding the structure of scientific writing, formulating research problems, and applying appropriate research methods. To address these issues, a community service activity in the form of a Scientific Writing Innovation (Sci-Fi) Workshop was conducted as an effort to enhance thesis writing competencies. This activity aims to equip students with systematic thesis writing techniques and strategies through a participatory and innovative approach. The implementation methods include workshops, writing practicums, thesis reviews, project-based learning, and coaching clinics. The program involved 55 final-year students as participants. Evaluation results showed that approximately 85% of participants successfully drafted their theses up to Chapter III with proper structure and academic standards. Additionally, based on a satisfaction survey, over 90% of participants stated that the activity was highly beneficial and expressed hope for its regular implementation. Overall, the Sci-Fi workshop proved effective in enhancing students' scientific writing skills and building their confidence in the thesis writing process.
