Abstract

Abstract

This study aims to analyze drug inventory control at Kasih Clinic using the ABC method with the help of POM-QM software for Windows. Based on the Pareto principle, the results of data processing indicate that inventory items can be classified into three main groups based on the contribution of usage value to total inventory costs. Group A consists of five main drug items that contribute the most to inventory value, which is around 87.48%, despite the relatively small number of items. This group requires strict control because it has a significant financial impact. Group B includes two drug items with a cumulative contribution of usage value up to 97.55% and requires periodic monitoring with a medium priority level. Meanwhile, group C consists of most drug items but only contributes around 2.45% of the total usage value, so it can be managed with a simpler control system. Overall, the application of the ABC method has proven effective in identifying drug inventory control priorities objectively and based on economic value, thus supporting more efficient hospital inventory management decisions

Abstract

This study examines the background of problem-solving ability and creative attitudes among junior high school students, highlighting their importance in fostering innovation and critical thinking in mathematics education. The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of problem-solving ability on students' creative attitudes. The classroom process is a learning process that develops local instructional theories for the material of systems of linear equations in two variables. The quantitative study aims to assess the influence of problem-solving ability on students' creative attitudes. This study involved 24 junior high school students in Medan as a sample. The instruments used were a validated problem-solving ability test and a validated creative attitude scale. The results showed that problem-solving ability has a significant positive effect on students' creative attitudes, with a regression coefficient of 0.951, indicating that greater problem-solving ability is associated with stronger creative attitudes. The coefficient of determination (R² = 0.597) indicates that 59.7% of the variation in students' creative attitudes is due to problem-solving ability. In contrast, friendship (40.3%) is due to other factors not examined in this study. These findings suggest that problem-solving ability is a key factor in developing creative attitudes. This study highlights the need to integrate problem-solving ability into the educational curriculum to foster students' creative attitudes. Future research should consider using a larger sample size.

Abstract

Regional development success is reflected not only in economic growth but also in the degree of income distribution equality. Aceh represents a unique institutional setting characterized by strong Islamic values, substantial fiscal transfers, and significant zakat potential. Nevertheless, income inequality in the province has continued to fluctuate, raising questions about the effectiveness of fiscal and Islamic redistributive instruments. This study examines the effects of government expenditure, zakat distribution, and gender equality on income inequality in Aceh, measured by the Gini index. This research employs an explanatory quantitative approach using panel data from districts and municipalities in Aceh Province during 2020–2024. Multiple linear regression with the Fixed Effect Model (FEM) is applied to account for regional heterogeneity. The results show that government expenditure and zakat distribution have negative but statistically insignificant effects on income inequality, indicating that their redistributive roles have not yet been fully effective. In contrast, the Gender Development Index (GDI) has a negative and statistically significant effect, suggesting that improvements in gender equality contribute to reducing income disparities. Simultaneously, the three variables significantly influence income inequality, although the model explains a moderate proportion of its variation (R² = 0.518567). These findings underscore the importance of strengthening fiscal effectiveness, optimizing zakat governance, and promoting gender-inclusive development to achieve more equitable economic outcomes in Aceh.

Abstract

The occurrence of food loss and waste is closely related to less effective and efficient consumer behavior that causes a lot of food wasted and excessive food waste accumulation. Consumer behavior according to Islam encompasses a series of ethics and principles of consumption: simplicity, balance, hygiene, generosity, and responsibility. The study aims to understand the impact of simplicity, balance, hygiene, generosity, and responsibility on control of food loss and waste. This research uses quantitative methods with nonprobability sampling techniques as a sampler technique. The sample in this study is 100 communities that reside in Banda Aceh City. The data analysis technique in this study is a double linear regression analysis by spreading the questionnaire. The results showed that the variables of simplicity and generosity partially influenced the control of food loss and waste. The variables balance, hygiene and partial responsibility do not affect the control of food loss and waste. Variables of simplicity, balance, hygiene, generosity, and responsibility simultaneously have a positive and significant impact on the control of food loss and waste. In this way, people are expected to change consumer habits that can damage the environment. Governments and related agencies can deal with food loss and waste by educating the public and improving infrastructure to support efficient food production processes as well as developing regulations related to food losses and waste.

Abstract

This conceptual study explores the fundamental role of Islamic ethical principles in shaping regulatory frameworks for fintech systems in Muslim-majority societies. Although there is an increasing body of research on Islamic fintech, it primarily focuses on Shariah-compliant products, consumer behavior, and technological advancements. There is limited investigation into how Islamic moral values are integrated at the regulatory level. To address this gap, the study proposes a normative-empirical framework that places Islamic ethics (such as justice, transparency, the prohibition of riba and gharar, and the promotion of social welfare) at the core of fintech governance design and legitimacy. By combining Islamic ethical thought with modern regulatory theory, the paper presents a new perspective that aligns faith-based values with international regulatory standards. Theoretical implications include a new understanding of regulatory legitimacy grounded in Islamic Ethical Principles, while practical outcomes point to the creation of ethically-based fintech policies. The study also suggests directions for future empirical research, such as examining stakeholder perspectives, developing ethical value indices, and assessing the mediating role of regulatory awareness.
