Abstract

Tradition art as medium to get society’s expression had experienced a lot of change according to support the creativity of society. Based on creativity on tradition art force this has humanitarianism point in supporting society’s life. It supported tradition form medley. Tradition music usually was engaged region, society appetite, trust, tradition and style. Archipelago music history notes to mark sense changing appetite and because of function politics social change. Abstract

This study aims to improve the ability to sing Gorontalo regional songs in grade V students of SDN 7 Telaga Jaya through the use of YouTube video media. This study is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) which is carried out in two cycles, each consisting of two meetings. The subjects of the study were 14 students, and singing ability was measured based on four vocal aspects, namely intonation, articulation, tempo, and expression. The results of the study showed an increase in singing ability at each stage. At the pre-action stage, the average student ability only reached 54.46%. After being given action, the ability increased to 60.71% in cycle I meeting I, 67.41% in cycle I meeting II, 75.45% in cycle II meeting I, and reached 90.18% in cycle II meeting II. This increase proves that YouTube video media is effective in helping students understand and master singing techniques better, especially in the context of regional songs. Thus, this media can be an interesting and meaningful learning alternative in improving students' vocal skills in elementary schools. ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan bernyanyi lagu daerah Gorontalo pada siswa kelas V SDN 7 Telaga Jaya melalui penggunaan media video YouTube. Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, masing-masing terdiri atas dua pertemuan. Subjek penelitian adalah 14 siswa, dan kemampuan bernyanyi diukur berdasarkan empat aspek vokal, yaitu intonasi, artikulasi, tempo, dan ekspresi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kemampuan bernyanyi pada setiap tahap. Pada tahap pratindakan, rata-rata kemampuan siswa hanya mencapai 54,46%. Setelah diberi tindakan, kemampuan meningkat menjadi 60,71% pada siklus I pertemuan I, 67,41% pada siklus I pertemuan II, 75,45% pada siklus II pertemuan I, dan mencapai 90,18% pada siklus II pertemuan II. Peningkatan ini membuktikan bahwa media video YouTube efektif dalam membantu siswa memahami dan menguasai teknik bernyanyi secara lebih baik, khususnya dalam konteks lagu daerah. Dengan demikian, media ini dapat menjadi alternatif pembelajaran yang menarik dan bermakna dalam meningkatkan keterampilan vokal siswa di sekolah dasar.

Abstract

This study aims to improve students' abilities through making collage artwork using the snowball throwing model in class IV SDN 8 Kabila, Bone Bolango Regency. The method used in this study is Classroom Action Research (CAR) using data collection techniques, namely interviews, observations, tests and documentation with the research subjects of class IV students totaling 15 people at SDN 8 Kabila, Bone Bolango Regency. Based on the results of the study, data on student learning outcomes were obtained in cycle I, meeting I, from the total of 11 students present, it was seen that no students had achieved a creative assessment with a percentage of 0%. In cycle I, meeting II, from the total of 15 students present, it was seen that 4 students had achieved a creative assessment with a percentage of 27%. While in cycle II, from the total of 15 students present, it was seen that 14 students had achieved a creative assessment with a percentage of 93%. Thus, the indicator of the success of the action that had been set in this study had been met, namely 75%. The conclusion of this study is that making collage artwork using the snowball throwing model can help improve students' abilities in class IV SDN 8 Kabila, Bone Bolango Regency. ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan siswa melalui pembuatan karya seni kolase menggunakan model snowball throwing di kelas IV SDN 8 Kabila Kabupaten Bone Bolango. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data yaitu wawancara, observasi, tes dan dokumentasi dengan subjek penelitian siswa kelas IV yang berjumlah 15 orang di SDN 8 Kabila Kabupaten Bone Bolango. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh data hasil belajar siswa pada siklus I pertemuan I dari jumlah 11 siswa yang hadir, terlihat belum ada siswa yang sudah mencapai penilaian kreatif dengan persentase 0%. Pada siklus I pertemuan II dari jumlah 15 siswa hadir, terlihat siswa yang sudah mencapai penilaian kreatif sebanyak 4 orang dengan persentase 27%. Sedangkan pada siklus II dari jumlah 15 siswa yang hadir, terlihat siswa sudah mencapai penilaian kreatif sebanyak 14 orang dengan persentase 93%. Dengan demikian indikator keberhasilan tindakan yang telah ditetapkan pada penelitian ini telah terpenuhi yaitu 75%. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah membuat karya seni kolase menggunakan model snowball throwing dapat membantu meningkatkan kemampuan siswa di kelas IV SDN 8 Kabila Kabupaten Bone Bolango.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of learning activities in singing regional songs as an effort to build the self-confidence of eighth-grade students at SMP Negeri 7 Gorontalo. The background of this research is based on the importance of developing students’ self-confidence through the arts, particularly in music education. The research method used is descriptive qualitative, with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The research subjects are the Cultural Arts teacher and the eighth-grade students involved in the regional song singing activities. The results of the study show that the implementation of singing regional songs was systematically designed through stages of song introduction, vocal practice, and classroom performance. These activities were able to increase students’ courage in self-expression, reduce shyness, and encourage active participation in learning. The conclusion of this research is that learning regional songs has a positive contribution to building and enhancing students’ self-confidence. Therefore, it is recommended that similar activities continue to be developed and become an integral part of cultural arts learning in schools.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the Differentiated learning process on Traditional Dance material using the Problem Based Learning Model for Class VIII-B Students at SMP Negeri 7 Gorontalo City. This research method is a descriptive qualitative study. The population in the study were class VIII students of SMP Negeri 7 Gorontalo City and the sample was 9 female students. The results of this study indicate that the Problem Based Learning model (group practice) for tidi lo o'ayabu can be said to be successful as seen from the evaluation of the theory of all students who have been able to master the material taught by the researcher and the evaluation of good practice is considered successful because there are only 2 out of 9 people who are not very able to demonstrate or practice tidi lo o'ayabu. The process of learning arts and culture, especially dance using the Problem Based Learning model (group practice), can improve skills and increase students' enthusiasm for learning. In addition, with this Problem Based Learning model, it can help students to support each other and work together in solving problems, if there are still some students who have not mastered the dance movements, students who are able to demonstrate the dance movements help friends who have not been able to demonstrate them properly and correctly

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan proses pembelajaran memainkan alat musik polopalo melalui metode drill pada siswa kelas VIII di SMP Negeri 1 Tilamuta. Dalam proses pembelajaran, diperlukan metode pembelajaran yang dapat membantu memudahkan ketercapaian tujuan pembelajaran. Penelitian ini berangakat dari adanya permasalahan  yang didalam kelas musik khusnya pada polopalo tradisional. Dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran musik tradisional penelitian ini merupakan pembelajaran memainkan alat musik polopalo pada siswa kelas VIII, peneliti menggunakan metode drill, yaitu metode yang menekankan pada latihan yang berulang-ulang secara terus menerus, untuk menguasai kemampuan atau keterampilan tertentu. Untuk dapat menguasai teknik bermain polopalo yang merupakan alat musik bersifat perkusi melodis, siswa harus dapat menguasai pemahaman tentang tinggi rendahnya nada, ritme, dinamika, tempo, hingga akor dan harmoni. Dari 9 peserta didik yang menjadi sampel dalam praktek memainkan polopalo ini, 5 orang peserta didik mendapatkan perolehan A dengan rentang skor 91-100, dan 4 orang peserta didik lainya mendapatperolehan kategori B  dengan rentang skor 83-90. Dari hasil teakhir tersebut maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran polopalo melalui metode drill pada siswa kelas VIII dapat memaksimalkan pemahaman dan keterampilan peserta didik dalam pembelajaran musik tradisional polopalo.

Abstract

Paradigma pendidikan seni di era digital berkembang pesat, menghadirkan peluang dan tantangan baru bagi pendidik dan mahasiswa. Dengan memanfaatkan teknologi sambil melestarikan praktik seni tradisional, pendidik dapat menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang kaya dan dinamis yang membekali siswa dengan keterampilan dan pengetahuan yang dibutuhkan untuk berkembang di dunia yang semakin digital. Penting bagi para pemangku kepentingan dalam komunitas seni untuk beradaptasi dengan perubahan ini dan memanfaatkan potensi teknologi untuk meningkatkan ekspresi artistik dan kreativitas. Dalam menavigasi perubahan paradigma dalam pendidikan seni, penting untuk mencapai keseimbangan antara praktik seni tradisional dan alat digital inovatif. Dengan mengintegrasikan kedua pendekatan tersebut, pendidik dapat menciptakan lingkungan belajar dinamis yang menumbuhkan kreativitas, pemikiran kritis, dan kemahiran teknis.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the Saronde dance skills of fifth-grade students at SDN No. 67 Kota Timur, Gorontalo City through the application of the drill method. The background of this research stems from the low level of students’ ability to perform the Saronde dance in terms of technique, expression, and mastery of movements. Therefore, a learning method that can effectively and sustainably enhance students’ dance skills is needed. The drill method was chosen because it provides repeated practice that reinforces movement mastery. This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted in two cycles. The research subjects consisted of 20 fifth-grade students. Data were collected through observation, documentation, and performance assessments based on established competency indicators.In the initial observation, only 6 students (30%) met the performance indicators. After the first cycle, the number increased to 7 students (35%). However, this result did not meet the success criteria of 75%, necessitating a second cycle of intervention. In the second cycle, a significant improvement was observed, with 18 students (90%) achieving the performance indicators. This result exceeds the predetermined success criteria and demonstrates that the drill method is effective in enhancing students' Saronde dance skills, particularly in movement accuracy, expression, and synchronization. Through repeated practice, students became more confident and were able to perform the dance more proficiently.In conclusion, the implementation of the drill method proved successful in improving the Saronde dance skills of fifth-grade students at SDN No. 67 Kota Timur, Gorontalo City. It is hoped that this research can serve as a reference for developing dance education in elementary schools. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan metode pembelajaran yang mampu meningkatkan keterampilan siswa secara efektif dan berkelanjutan. Metode drill dipilih karena mampu memberikan latihan berulang yang dapat memperkuat penguasaan gerak tari. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Subjek penelitian adalah 20 siswa kelas V. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, dokumentasi, dan penilaian kinerja siswa berdasarkan indikator ketercapaian kompetensi. Pada observasi awal, hanya 6 siswa (30%) yang mencapai indikator kinerja yang telah ditetapkan. Setelah tindakan pada siklus I, jumlah siswa yang memenuhi indikator meningkat menjadi 7 siswa (35%). Namun, hasil ini belum memenuhi indikator keberhasilan tindakan yang ditetapkan, yaitu 75%, sehingga dilakukan tindakan lanjutan pada siklus II. Pada siklus II, terjadi peningkatan signifikan. Sebanyak 18 siswa (90%) berhasil mencapai indikator kinerja, yang berarti telah melampaui kriteria keberhasilan yang ditentukan. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa metode drill efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan seni tari Saronde siswa, terutama dalam hal ketepatan gerakan, ekspresi, dan kekompakan. Dengan latihan yang berulang, siswa menjadi lebih percaya diri dan mampu menampilkan tarian dengan lebih baik. Dengan demikian, penerapan metode drill terbukti dapat meningkatkan kemampuan seni tari Saronde pada siswa kelas V di SDN No. 67 Kota Timur Kota Gorontalo. Penelitian ini diharapkan menjadi referensi dalam pengembangan pembelajaran seni tari di sekolah dasar.

Abstract

This research is motivated by field issues, particularly the continued use of one-way (lecture-based) teaching methods by educators, who predominantly rely on theoretical explanations from printed textbooks rather than engaging in practical activities. Furthermore, educators have not fully optimized the integration of digital media in the learning process, resulting in low student motivation and interest in learning dance. Meanwhile, based on the expected learning outcomes, students are required to create simple, creative dance performances according to their individual potential. This research aims to implement the digital learning media Wordwall, which can assist teachers in the teaching process while enhancing the understanding and learning motivation of Grade X students at SMKS Pariwisata Bubohu. Delivering material through lectures based on printed textbooks is considered ineffective in improving student’s understanding and experience in dance creation. The research employs a mixed methods approach. Data were collected through observation, interviews, documentation, and research instruments. The research subjects included individuals associated with the implementation of this research: the principal, arts and culture teacher, Grade X students of SMKS Pariwisata Bubohu, and lecturers from Universitas Negeri Gorontalo with expertise and interest in the fields of dance and language. This research employs the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The research was carried out through several stages: needs analysis, media design of Wordwall, expert validation, classroom implementation, and evaluation. The results showed that the Wordwall learning media was highly valid for use, with validation scores of 92.5 from material experts, 90 from language experts, and 97.22 from educational media experts. The classroom implementation also showed an increase in understanding and learning interest, as seen in the teacher’s pretest-posttest results: the pretest yielded a score of -1.42 (indicating a decline), while the posttest yielded a score of 0.90 (high). Moreover, students’ responses to the Wordwall media were very positive, with final results categorized as “Very interesting/no revision needed.” This media has proven to enhance student’s comprehension and motivation, as well as support teachers in optimizing the learning process. The research also demonstrated that the ADDIE approach is an effective framework for developing learning media.
