Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of this research is to know the effectiveness of the application of power-point learning media. This research was conducted using pre-experimental design with the one-group pretest-posttest design. The subject of this study was 8th-grade students of MTs Hidayatul Muslimin 2 Kubu Raya. The techniques of data collection are direct observation technique, direct communication technique, and measurement technique. The tools of data collecting in this research were notebook, interviews and learning outcomes tests in the form of pretest and posttest, the results of the normality test state that the results of residual values are normally distributed with a significant value of 0.544 > 0.05. While the results of the hypothesis test state that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted based on the sig value. (2-tailed) at the value of the pretest and posttest with a value of 0,000 which means smaller than 0.05. It shows that there are significant differences after the application of the power-point learning media. The pretest average value is 53,29 and the posttest average value is 80.79. So, with the application of power-point learning media seen an increase in student learning outcomes subject in the 8th grade of MTs Hidayatul Muslimin 2 Kubu Raya and shows the effect size criteria are very effective at 1.99.Keywords: IPS Subjects, Learning Outcomes, Power Point Learning MediaPENDAHULUANPerkembangan yang terus terjadi di ilmu pengetahuan

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determined the social interaction of cooperation between committees at Malayness Sambas wedding ceremony in Seranggam village. The research method used was qualitative approach descriptive form. The object of his research was a member of the wedding committee in Seranggam village, amounting to 10 people. Technique of collecting data was done by observation, interview, and documentary. While the data collection tool were an observation guide, interview guide, and documentation. The result of the research showed that the social interaction of cooperation between marriage committees had been running in accordance with the existing social interaction process. This is seen from the cooperation of mutual cooperation between committees such as activities at the meeting of the establishment of wedding committee, the day of nunjam tarup, making spices as well as nyarro 'k, antarpakatan and the big day. Another thing that was encountered is cooperation in the form of co-optation such as members of the committee to openly accept opinions and decided through deliberation, accepting every policy and direction of the new committee chairman on the day of making tarub until the wedding is over.Keywords: Social Interaction, Cooperation, Malayness Sambas Marriage

Abstract

AbstractPresent study aim to develop a pop-up book learning media sub-discussion of early humans in Indonesia in class X. Early human sub-discussion in Indonesia is material that studi abstract objects for students so that students find it difficult to understand ancient human material in Indonesia. Moreover, in conveying of material, the references are using still lacked in the form of several historical package books and several LKS. The research method used was the 4-D model development (R & D). However, researchers were only research only up to the third D. Present  results showing validity and practicality in the material aspects of 81.6% with good criteria and revised as needed. Students responses to the pop-up book media carry out on a small scale of 12 people and a large scale of 25 consecutive people who receive a percentage of 79.2% (with strong criteria) and 85.7% (with very strong criteria). Based on the measurement of media effectiveness based on the results of the assessment of the pretest and posttest in the form of multiple choice questions with the number of 30 items obtaine n-gain 0.6 with moderate information. Keywords: Pop-Up Book?s Media, Sub-Discussion of Early Humans in Indonesia

Abstract

AbstractThis research for knowing by the application of learning models in the teaching and learning process, besides that conventional learning with the lecture method makes students less interested until the motivation of students to follow the teaching and learning process is reduced. This study aims to determine the effective or not use of Examples Non Examples learning models on student learning outcomes in historical subjects in MAN 1 Pontianak. The research method used an experimental method with pre-experimental design and the research design used One-Group Pretest-Postest Design. The subject of the research was the X IPS 3 MAN 1 Pontianak class. The process of determining the class that is the subject of research is based on the lowest student learning outcomes. The data collection tool used consist of interview guides, observation sheets, documents and learning outcomes tests. Based on the data analysis used using the t-test the results obtained by the significance value (Sig.2-tailed) were 0,000. Hypothesis testing Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted because 0,000 <0,05 so there are differences in learning outcomes after using Examples Non Examples learning models and the effect size of student learning outcomes is 1,29 categorized as high class. Thisresult  that the use of Examples Non Examples learning models is effectively for teaching and learning in historical subjects in MAN 1 Pontianak.  Keywords:Effective, Learning Outcomes, Learning Models Examples Non Examples, Historical Subjects.

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to obtain clear and accurate information about the learning material of local history, in instilling nationalism in students of class XI Pontianak 1 State High School. The research method used is descriptive qualitative research method in the form of case study research. The source of this research data is the history subject teacher, the 11th grade student, and the deputy head of the curriculum in the Pontianak City State Senior High School 1. The data is history learning which contains the existence of local historical material, in instilling nationalism in students and the results of interviews and observations, as well as documentation. Based on the results of the study showed that the teacher has not included local historical material in planning, but in the learning process the teacher has delivered local history material this is evidenced by the existence of daily test questions that contain the existence of local historical material. Local history material in instilling nationalism in students especially class XI in Pontianak 1 State High School is already good, which is shown from the learning and evaluation process which has included local history material so that there is a change in attitude towards students related to their nationalism attitude.But there are still some that have not been optimally seen from planning that have not included the existence of local historical material. Keywords: Local History Material, Nationalism, Students.

Abstract

 AbstractThis study aims to determine the teacher's understanding in applying the social competency of socia studies subject teachers in grade VII. The research method used is descriptive in the form of qualitative research. Sources of research data are vice principals, teachers and students. The results of the study with five indicators formulating the problem show that the teacher's understanding in applying teacher competence, especially the social competence of teachers in the school environment as a whole is quite good, such as the ability of teachers to communicate with students is quite good, although not too effective, already very good, the teacher's ability to collaborate with BP3 teachers is good, the ability of teachers to associate with fellow workers and education partners is very good and the ability of teachers to understand the surrounding world is good so that overall social studies teachers understand and apply social competence in the school environment already well. Keywords: Social Competence and Social Sciences Subjects.

Abstract

AbstractThe problems raised in this study are summarized in three formulations of the problem, namely, regarding the background, procedures and rituals and how the involvement of community members in preserving the meaning of Sedekah Bumi tradition in Wonosari, Tebang Kacang Village, Sungai Raya District, Kubu Raya Regency. To achieve the objectives of the study the researcher used qualitative methods. The data collection techniques with observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that Sedekah Bumi tradition in Wonosari, Tebang Kacang Village, against the arrival of Javanese people to Wonosari. They mean that, Tebang Kacang is human form of gratitude and to get a better life the following year. Sedekah Bumi held at the turn of the Islamic New Year or the Hijriah New Year. Regarding the ceremonial procedures and rituals, it is divided into three stages, namely, cattle slaughter, festivity and salvation, and wayang performances. All communities participate in this event. They are very supportive of the big activities held once a year in Wonosari, Tebang Kacang Village. Based on the results of the study, the researcher concluded that Sedekah Bumi held once a year on the eve of the Hijriah New Year by involving all elements of the community at each stage of the ceremony. Keywords: Tradition, Local Culture, Islamic New Year

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kontribusi PT Darmex Agro terhadap lingkungan dan masyarakat di desa Kinande. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif.Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah teknik observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi.Sedangkan alat pengumpul data adalah panduan observasi, panduan wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kontribusi perkebunan kelapa sawit PT Damex Agro terhadap lingkungan dan masyarakat di desa Kinande Kecamatan Lembah Bawang Kabupaten Bengkayang ditunjukan dengan memberikan bantuan dalam bentuk materil seperti di lingkungan memberikan pembuatan jembatan permanen sebagai jalan penghubung antara desa Seluang dan Desa Kinande lebih dekat dan di masyarakat seperti memberikan peluang pekerjaan. Kemudian dampak kontribusi tersebut ada dampak positif dan negatif. Dampak positif seperti akses jalan lebih cepat dan dampak negatif seperti jalan semangkin hancur karena akses jalan bukan saja PT Darmex melainkan ada oknum tertentu yang mengunakan akses jalan tersebut untuk mengambil hasil panen tanpa seizin perusahaan. Kata Kunci : Kontribusi,PT Darmex Agro, Lingkungan,Masyarakat.   Abstract:The purpose of this research is to understand the contribution of PT Darmex Agro on the environment and people in the village Kinande. The method used is Descriptive.Data collection techniques used were observation, interview and documentation study. The results showed that the contribution of oil palm plantations PT Damex Agro on the environment and the people in the village Kinande District of Okanagan Onions Bengkayang shown to provide assistance in the form of material such as the environment provides the manufacture of a permanent bridge as a connecting road between the villages Seluang and Village Kinande closer and in community such as providing employment opportunities. Then there is the impact of the contribution of positive and negative impacts. The positive impacts such as access roads faster and negative impacts such as road destroyed because the access road is not only PT Darmex but there are certain elements that use the access road to the crops without the permission of the company. Abstract

AbstractThis research was conducted based on the observation that learning carried out in the classroom on social studies subjects is always done by only using the lecture method. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the application of the cooperative learning model picture and picture in improving student learning outcomes in social studies subjects in class VII of 12 Middle School in Siak Hamlet, Durian Village, Sungai Ambawang District, Kubu Raya District. The method used is Quasi Experiment Design with the research design used is Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The sample of this study was 52 students. The results of data analysis showed that student learning outcomes between the experimental class and the control class did not experience significant differences. Evidenced by the results of the average post-test seen in the untreated control class that is 70. In the experimental class that was treated by using the cooperative learning model picture and picture the average post-test score of students was increased by 80. This is proportional straight with the level of effect size obtained that is equal to 0.659. This achievement is classified as moderate. This means that student learning outcomes using cooperative learning models picture and picture and learning outcomes of students who do not use the cooperative learning model picture and picture are not much different. Keywords:  Effectiveness, Learning Model, Picture and Picture Cooperative, Learning Outcomes
