Abstract

While submitting proposals in SISINTA, students often confuse or falsely submit their proposals to the less relevant or incorrect research group. There are 13 research groups for the students to choose from. We proposed a text classification method to help students find the best research group based on the title and/or abstract. The stages in this study include data collection, preprocessing data, classification using Logistic Regression, and evaluation of the results. Three scenarios in research group classification are based on 1) title only, 2) abstract only, and 3) title and abstract. Based on the experiments, research group classification using title-only input is the best overall. This scenario gets the most optimal results with accuracy, precision, recall, and f1-score successively at 63.68%, 64.91%, 63.68%, and 63.46%. This result is sufficient to help students find the best research group based on the text titles. In addition, lecturers can comment more elaborately since the proposals are relevant to the research group’s scope.

Abstract

Cashew nuts are the fruit of the cashew plant, the most important of which is the cashew nut itself. Cashews are one of the most traded nut products. One of the MSMEs located in Singosari, Malang Regency is an MSME engaged in processed food products, namely cashew nuts. This MSME is called Dininas. This business was initiated by Mrs. Dini Mei Nastiti and has been established since 2018. Mrs. Dini's business produces around 10 – 50 kg per day with production in the form of cashew nuts. The problem faced by partners is the slicing process which still uses the conventional method, namely draining naturally by placing it in a container covering it with oil-absorbing paper, and then aerating it. Therefore the solution that is relevant in community service is the application of Inverter-based Spinner machines are more optimal, hygienic, and efficient to increase the amount of production. It is hoped that this community service with the application of Inverter-based Spinner machines can help Dinias SMEs in producing cashew nuts and meet demands from consumers. In addition, this machine is also expected to increase the productivity, quantity, hygiene, and quality of cashew nuts as well as increase profits for business managers.

Abstract

Tourism is a journey from one place to another carried out by a group of people or individual for a certain period of time with the aim of traveling that requires planning previously. This is supported by current technological advances, one of which is multimedia technology including information technology. This multimedia technology has made a significant contribution to the tourism sector by generating the ability to promote and develop tourist objects in any location with greater ease, less cost, and more flexibility. One of the attractions that is developing at the time of current technological advances, namely the Sanggar Doka Tawa Tana. This studio is one of the leading tourist attractions in the province of NTT that can attract tourists to visit. However Due to the Covid-19 outbreak, the number of tourists visiting has decreased drastically. But in 2021 the number of tourists visiting began to increase. So in this research development of EPUB-based interactive multimedia books to promote and provide the latest information for potential tourists related to the Sanggar Doka Tawa Tana. On book design interactive multimedia of Sanggar Doka Tawa Tana, the method used is the design sprint method where In the method there are 5 frameworks, namely understand, diverge, decide, prototype and validate.

Abstract

Currently in Indonesia there are millions of school-age children. Some of them still have difficulty in accessing education, including children with special needs. Children with special needs are part of a society that is classified as vulnerable. Some institutions state that they are 10 times more likely to be out of school. Even when they go to school, the learning they receive tends to be not optimal, especially for autistic children. Autism is a disorder of overall human development that results in barriers to socialization, communication, and behavior. With the various obstacles they have, the learning process they receive tends to be less than optimal if it is not balanced with adequate facilities and infrastructure. Therefore, in this study, researchers want to design a digital learning application for autistic users based on a website, where the User Interface (UI) and User Experience (UX) of the learning application are tailored to the user's needs. By using the Human-Centered Design (HCD) method that focuses on humans in its manufacture. With these grounds and reasons, it is hoped that this research can produce a UI UX with a good level of usability, effectiveness, and user satisfaction.

Abstract

The study aims to create a digital mail management system, known as SMART, to address the inefficiencies of the current manual letter archiving system at the Malang Customs and Excise Supervision and Service Office. The existing system, which relies on Microsoft Excel, is time-consuming and prone to errors. This leads to difficulties in searching for specific letter scans and the potential loss of hard-file archives. The SMART system, designed using the Waterfall Method and the CodeIgniter framework, is a web-based information system that allows the management of incoming, outgoing, and internal letters in a digital format. The system includes features such as inserting, updating, and deleting letters, as well as uploading scanned letter files. According to the System Usability Scale (SUS) test results, the SMART application is highly usable, with an average score of 93.50, which exceeds the benchmark of 68. The implementation of SMART is expected to significantly improve the efficiency of the administration section's document archiving process, enhancing the accessibility and management of letter archives at the Malang Customs and Excise Supervision and Service Office.

Abstract

Effective asset management is a key factor for supporting the sustainability of mining company operations. This community benefits from the execution of the Resource Administration Framework at PT. Bara Prima Utama, which works within the coal mining division. This framework is planned to improve the proficiency of observing, upkeeping, and administering the company's settled resources to optimize resource utilization and decrease operational costs. Through the application of data innovation in resource information administration, a company can distinguish resource conditions in real time and make quicker and more exact vital choices. In expansion, preparation for asset administration staff is additionally carried out to guarantee the ability to work this unused system. This execution is anticipated to extend the efficiency and support of a company's operations and amplify the life of resources. This program also bolsters the company's commitment to a more proficient and dependable administration of assets.

Abstract

Hipertensi atau tekanan darah tinggi merupakan tekanan darah pada arteri meningkat secara terus menerus. Hipertensi dapat menjadi kondisi serius karena dapat meningkatkan risiko terjadinya komplikasi kesehatan yang serius, seperti penyakit jantung, stroke, gagal ginjal, dan masalah pembuluh darah lainnya. Jika pengobatan yang dilakukan oleh pengidap hipertensi tidak tepat waktu akan menurunkan efisiensi dari pengobatan hipertensi itu sendiri dan akan memicu risiko terjadinya komplikasi kesehatan. Penelitian ini berfokus untuk merancang serta mengembangkan desain dari sebuah website monitoring yang akan digunakan oleh apoteker maupun dokter dalam memantau konsumsi obat pasien pengidap hipertensi. Alur pengembangan sistem dari penelitian ini menggunakan metode sprint yang memiliki langkah-langkah (1) Understand, (2) Sketch, (3) Decide, (4) Prototype, dan (5) Validate. Pengujian dan evaluasi terhadap rancangan desain menggunakan metode heuristic evaluation. Penelitian ini menghasilkan desain tampilan dari aplikasi Makobat yang dapat digunakan untuk memantau kepatuhan pasien dalam meminum obat tepat waktu berdasarkan waktu yang telah ditetapkan oleh apoteker. Setelah dilakukan validasi, telah dilakukan perbaikan untuk tampilan serta penambahan fitur buku panduan untuk dapat digunakan oleh user.

Abstract

SIBI is less widely adopted, and the lack of an efficient recognition system limits its accessibility. SIBI gestures often involve subtle hand movements and complex finger configurations, requiring precise feature extraction and classification techniques. This study addresses these issues using a Hand Keypoint-based Convolutional Neural Network (HK-CNN) for SIBI classification. The research utilizes Kinect 2.0 for precise data collection, enabling accurate hand keypoint detection and preprocessing. The optimal data acquisition distance between 50 and 60 cm from the camera is considered to obtain clear and detailed images. The methodology includes four key stages: data collection, preprocessing (keypoint extraction and image filtering), classification using HK-CNN with ResNet-50, EfficientNet, and InceptionV3, and performance evaluation. Experimental results demonstrate that EfficientNet achieves the highest accuracy of 99.1% in the 60:40 data split scenario, with superior precision and recall, making it ideal for real-time applications. ResNet-50 also performs well with 99.3% accuracy in the 20:80 split but requires longer computation time, while InceptionV3 is less efficient for real-time applications. Compared to traditional CNN methods, HK-CNN significantly enhances accuracy and efficiency. In conclusion, this study provides a robust and adaptable solution for SIBI recognition, facilitating inclusivity in education, public services, and workplace communication. Future research should expand dataset diversity and explore dynamic gesture recognition for further improvements.

Abstract

PROKLIM merupakan salah satu agenda prioritas dunia untuk menyelamatkan kehidupan di bumi dan mengembangkan keberlanjutan pembangunan nasional guna tercapainya target pengurangan gas rumah kaca dan meningkatkan ketahanan terhadap dampak perubahan iklim. Potensi RW 10 Kelurahan Lowokwaru pasca program zero waste zone untuk dikembangkan sebagai PROKLIM melatarbelakangi usulan program pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini. Pada Tahun 2014, RW 10 Kelurahan Lowokwaru telah dilakukan pengembangan sebagai percontohan zero waste zone. Keberhasilan tersebut ditandai dengan meningkatnya pengetahuan, sikap, dan perilaku masyarakat terhadap program zero waste zone. Namun, karena kurang mendapat pemantauan dan pembiasaan kepada warga maka kondisi beberapa fasilitas sudah ada yang tampak tidak difungsikan secara maksimal oleh masyarakat. Untuk memecahkan masalah tersebut perlu dilakukan sebuah kegiatan yang mampu untuk memberi edukasi kepada warga sekaligus membiasakan warga. Target dari kegiatan ini adalah (1) peningkatan pemahaman dan sikap warga RW 10 Kelurahan Lowokwaru Kota Malang dalam mendukung penerapan program zero waste zone secara berkelanjutan, (2) peningkatan pemahaman warga RW 10 Kelurahan Lowokwaru tentang PROKLIM dan KRPL, (3) terwujudnya PROKLIM berbasis KRPL di RW 10 Kelurahan Lowokwaru Kota Malang.
