Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk merangkumkan masalah-masalah sosial budaya masyarakat Jepang yang dapat memicu perselingkuhan dalam suatu keluarga. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif deskriptif yang didasarkan pada dua alasan yaitu permasalahan yang dikaji dalam penelitian ini yaitu tentang pemicu perselingkuhan istri serta kaitannya dengan sosial budaya Jepang. Kemudian penelitian ini dilakukan dengan pendekatan ekstrinsik, yaitu pandangan dan penilaian peneliti dari kacamata netral. Objek penelitian ini adalah transkrip subtitle dan adegan dalam film Jepang “Red” yang berpusat pada tokoh utama wanita, Toko.Data yang dikumpulkan merupakan dialog dan adegan yang mengandung konteks penyebab perselingkuhan dan hubungannya dengan patriarki dalam keluarga Jepang.Berdasarkan analisis data, penyebab karakter Toko Sugiri melakukan perselingkuhan dengan Kurata dalam film Red didominasi oleh alasan psikologis. Alasan psikologis tersebut antara lain adanya masalah kepribadian, tekanan, dan kebutuhan. Penyebab seorang wanita Jepang yang berstatus istri melakukan perselingkuhan dipengaruhi oleh sistem patriarki yang tertanam dalam sistem keluarga Jepang, terutama sistem ie dimana kedudukan wanita hanya berfokus pada pekerjaan domestik dan melayani suami. Hal itu sangat menekan wanita Jepang. Ketidakbebasan inilah yang membuat wanita Jepang mencari hubungan di luar pernikahan yang bisa melepaskan mereka dari belenggu sistem ini.

Erai Tokoro Ni Totsuide Shimatta! (ETNTS) by Makimura Kimiko (2006) is one of the Japanese literary works that depicts Japanese culture. This novel tells the story of a character named Makimura Kimiko, a freelance journalist. She recently married a man whose family still followed traditional customs. It is the traditional habits that are very interesting to study. In the current digital era, traditional habits that are rarely found in Japanese society have appeared in this novel. The purpose of this research is to examine cultural representations through traditional habits that appear in this drama through a literary anthropological approach and use John Fiske's semiotic theory.The object of this research material is the novel Erai Tokoro Ni Totsuide Shimatta! (ETNTS) by Makimura Kimiko (2006). The formal object in this study is a representation of Japanese culture.

The purpose of this study is to describe the implementation and results of project based learning (PjBL) in learning kaiwa II at Japanese Language Education Study Department of Faculty of Languages and Arts UNJ during a pandemic to improve kaiketsu nouryoku (problem solving competency), ibunka rikai nouryouku (competence in intercultural understanding), and kadai suikou nouryoku (competence in accomplishing tasks), and also describe students’ responses regarding project based learning in this kaiwa class. This project produced drama scripts and drama videos. Based on the results of the questionnaire, it is known that drama is one of the methods favored by students. From the results of the video recording, it is known that the drama is less natural, but the required learning materials have been fulfilled in the scenario. 68.2% of students stated that it was effective to use PjBL in Kaiwa II learning, but there were also some students who did not know about this project based learning. Thus, the teacher as a facilitator must explain at the beginning of the lecture about PjBL and its usefulness in learning. Furthermore, to meet the demands of KPI in MBKM, this PjBL based drama can be used as an alternative in kaiwa learning.

The purpose of this research is to describe the cultural values which are contained in Taira no Masakado novel. The author used descriptive analysis methods to analyse data. This research used literature study method, observe technique, and noting technique to collect data. Miles and Huberman descriptive analysis model was used to analyse data, which is an interactive analysis model. There are five aspects of cultural value orientation within society that was analysed using theory by Clyde Kluckhohn. Those values are, the aspect of human-life reality cultural value, which consists of the value of piety and religiousness. The aspect of human-nature reality cultural value, which consists of the natural resource usage and unity value. The aspect of interhuman cultural value, which consists of the responsibility, helping other, love, and friendship value. The aspect of human-work cultural value which consists of the patient, perseverance, hard work, and loyalty value. And The aspect of human-time cultural value, consists of the time usage value.

This research uses the novel titled Zettai Seigi by Akiyoshi Rikako as the object of research. The purpose of this research is to analyze the social conflict and characterization of Noriko. The author uses the simak-catat method to collect the data and content analysis method to analyze the data, afterwards the data were analyzed using Soekanto's theory of social conflict and Jauhari's theory of characterization. Based on the results of the analysis, Noriko has 14 forms of characterization. Then, the form of social conflict is personal conflict, and the cause of social conflict is due to differences in ways of thinking between individuals, application of truth by Noriko, Noriko's character who always demands perfection, and in ethics and moral terms. In this novel, the author of the novel wants to show the reader that when in society, don't be a person who demands perfection, always meddling in other people's business, and don't build a character like the one that Noriko has because it will interfere with the social life of others. Furthermore, the law was created as a means to educate the public, not to drag everything into the realm of law.

Abstract The entrepreneurial spirit development program through the creation of a canvas model business plan is a program that aims to help students, alumni, and the general public to be able to build an entrepreneurial spirit by creating a work plan product that is mature for their entrepreneurship. This online P2M activity was attended by 106 participants consisting of lecturers, students, alumni and the general public who are interested in entrepreneurship. As can be seen from the results of the questionnaire, that 53.8% of the participants' business interests are culinary, while 30.8% are business in the education sector and the rest are interested in business in the fields of life style, culture and others. The response of the participants (100%) of this activity is useful to add insights in making a business plan with careful planning and can be a business solution in a pandemic like this. The results of business designs were competed, and those who succeeded in winning the competition were high school Japanese language teachers with the healty tempura business concept, and from the general public with the one stop Japanese learning center business concept. Abstrak Program pengembangan jiwa wirausaha melalui pembuatan business plan model canvas adalah program yang bertujuan untuk membantu mahasiswa, alumni, dan masyarakat umum untuk bisa membangun jiwa kewirausahaan dengan cara membuat suatu produk rencana kerja yang matang untuk wirausahanya. Kegiatan P2M secara daring ini dihadiri oleh 106 peserta yang terdiri dari dosen, mahasiswa, alumni dan masyarakat umum yang berminat terhadap wirausaha. Sebagaimana terlihat dari hasil angket, bahwa 53,8% bidang peminatan bisnis peserta adalah kuliner, sedangkan 30,8% adalah bisnis di bidang pendidikan dan sisanya berminat bisnis di bidang life style, budaya dan lainnya. Tanggapan peserta (100%) kegiatan ini bermanfaat menambah wawasan dalam membuat suatu rancangan bisnis dengan perencanaan yang matang dan bisa menjadi solusi bisnis di masa pandemi seperti ini. Hasil rancangan bisnis dikompetesikan, dan yang berhasil memenangkan lomba adalah guru bahasa Jepang SLTA dengan konsep bisnis healty tempura, dan dari masyarakat umum dengan konsep bisnis one stop Japanese learning center.

This research aims to determine the nouns, verbs, and sentence genres contained in Japanese sentences that contained fukugoukakujoshi of ~wo moto ni shite and ~ni motodzuite. This was conducted due to the similar meaning between fukugoukakujoshi ~wo moto ni shite and ~ni motodzuite when translated into Indonesian, which is "based on". Nevertheless, each word essentially has its own differences. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method with data collection techniques in the form of note-taking techniques, and direct-elements divide analysis technique based on experts’ theories. The used theories are noun type theory, verb type theory, phrase theory, and sentence genre seen from the theory of grammatical categories in the predicate. Based on the analysis results, the nouns, verbs, and sentence genres in Japanese sentences containing fukugoukakujoshi ~wo moto ni shite and ~ni motodzuite have similarities and differences.

Vocabulary that contains cultural elements can hardly be translated literally, so it requires proper translation techniques. By using the category of cultural word by Newmark and the translation technique by Hoed, this study aims to determine the translation technique used to translate cultural word in the novel Toumawari Suru Hina. The method used is literature study and analytical method whose results are described descriptively. Based on the results of this study, it is known that the translator of the Indonesian version of the novel uses phonological translation (20.2%), does not translated (17.6%), and footnotes (15.6%). On the other hand, the translator of the English version of the novel uses a lot of cultural equivalent techniques (18%) and descriptive translation (15.1%) to translate cultural word in the categories of material culture and social culture.
