Abstract

This study aims to analyze the relationship between Green Product Innovation (GPI) and sustainable competitive advantage (SCA) in the context of MSMEs in the food sector in West Java. The approach used is the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) of 30 selected scientific articles from various international databases. The results of the analysis show that the main indicators of GPI include environmentally friendly product design, use of sustainable raw materials, green processing technology, and ecological packaging. The dominant dimensions of SCA include cost advantage, product differentiation, customer loyalty, sustainable innovation, and corporate image (green image). Most of the literature supports a positive relationship between GPI and SCA through the mechanisms of operational efficiency, increased brand value, and market attractiveness. There is a theoretical gap due to the lack of integration between GPI and classical strategy frameworks such as Resource-Based View (RBV) and Porter's Generic Strategies. This study provides practical contributions to the food industry through recommendations for systematic adoption of GPI, as well as theoretical contributions in strengthening the resource-based sustainability model. Further research is recommended to use quantitative and longitudinal approaches to deepen the understanding of the causal relationship between these key variables.

Abstract

This study examines the determinants of Organizational Performance in Small and Medium Industries (SMEs) of crafts by highlighting the role of Digital Knowledge Management (DKM) as the main mediator in the digital era. Using the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach referring to Kitchenham (2004) and PRISMA guidelines, 35 relevant articles were analyzed to identify key factors such as innovation, human resources, digitalization, and operational management that contribute to organizational performance. The findings show that DKM functions as a bridge connecting internal and external factors, strengthening organizational processes and driving long-term sustainability. This study also emphasizes the importance of digital knowledge management in supporting organizational adaptation to rapid changes in the business environment and increasingly fierce global competition. The practical implications of this study provide direction for SMEs to integrate DKM strategies into daily operations to improve effectiveness and competitiveness. These findings enrich the literature on knowledge management and Organizational Performance, especially in the context of developing countries. This study contributes to an in-depth understanding of the relationship between digital technology and business sustainability, opening up opportunities for the development of more adaptive and innovative policies and managerial practices.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the supporting factors in implementing Digital Marketing(DM) and Customer Relationship Management(CRM) and to examine their role in developing the Champion MSME model in West Java. Amidst tight digital competition, many MSMEs have not fully leveraged the use of digital technology, particularly in building strong customer relationships and expanding their market share. The method employed is a Systematic Literature Review(SLR) using the PRISMA 2020 guidelines, which involves articles published between 2015 and 2025 and indexed in Scopus, Web of Science, Copernicus, Sinta, and Garuda. The results of the study show that the success of digital marketing (DM) and CRM depends on the level of digital literacy, technological infrastructure support, personal interaction, and efficient customer data management. Both strategies play a role in increasing Customer Satisfaction(CS), Customer Engagement(CE), and Customer Loyalty(CL), which then contribute positively to MSME performance. In addition, the Soft System Methodology (SSM) approach is used to design a contextual Champion MSME development model that involves the participation of stakeholders. These findings are expected to be the basis for an effective strategy for developing sustainable MSME digitalization.

Abstract

This study investigates the interrelationships among empathy, ethical interaction, organizational rewards, creativity, and organizational performance through a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) of peer-reviewed journal articles published between 2013 and 2023. A total of 48 relevant studies were identified and analyzed from major databases including Scopus, Web of Science, Google Scholar, and ScienceDirect. The findings indicate that empathy fosters psychological safety, encourages open idea exchange, and enhances both individual and team creativity. Ethical interaction significantly contributes to organizational trust, employee satisfaction, and improved performance. Furthermore, organizational rewards play a critical role in motivating behavior, reinforcing ethical values, and stimulating innovation when aligned with intrinsic goals. However, the existing literature remains fragmented, with limited integrative models combining all five variables, and is dominated by studies from private-sector contexts. The widespread use of cross-sectional designs also restricts understanding of long-term causal dynamics. This review identifies key enabling factors—such as transformational leadership, inclusive work culture, and trust—alongside challenges like cultural resistance, power asymmetries, and a lack of ethical role models. The study provides a conceptual foundation for future empirical research and practical insights for leaders aiming to embed empathy, ethics, and reward systems into organizational strategies to foster creativity and sustainable performance.

Abstract

This study examines the factors influencing Generation Z's attitudes toward environmentally friendly products and their implications for green consumer behavior, with a focus on reducing plastic waste in West Java, Indonesia. Through a Systematic Literature Review, this study analyzes recent scientific publications to identify patterns of relationships between environmental awareness, environmental knowledge, product availability, environmental policies, attitudes toward environmentally friendly products, and green consumer behavior. The review findings indicate that environmental awareness and knowledge play a fundamental role in shaping positive attitudes toward eco-friendly products. Product availability and effective environmental policies are crucial in bridging the gap between attitudes and behavior. While positive attitudes are a strong predictor of green consumer behavior, there remains a gap between attitudes and actual behavior. Digital technology and social media hold significant potential in influencing the attitudes and behavior of Generation Z. Cultural factors and geographical context also play a significant role. Implementation challenges such as price, convenience, and product availability remain major barriers. In conclusion, a holistic approach is needed that combines increased awareness, the provision of environmentally friendly products, effective policies, and the utilization of digital technology. Further research is required to explore effective strategies in specific contexts and address the attitude-behavior gap.

Abstract

This study explores the influence of company size, profitability, and leverage on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) disclosure among coal mining companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) from 2019 to 2023. Despite the increasing global emphasis on sustainability reporting, research on CSR disclosure determinants in emerging markets, particularly in coal mining industry, remains limited. This study is examining how financial and organizational factors shape CSR disclosure in a sector that faces intense scrutiny due to its environmental and social footprint. Utilizing stakeholder theory, legitimacy theory, and resource-based theory, the research employs multiple linear regression analysis to investigate these relationships. The findings reveal that company size positively impacts CSR disclosure, indicating that larger firms are more likely to engage in CSR activities to meet stakeholder expectations and maintain legitimacy. However, profitability and leverage do not significantly affect CSR disclosure, suggesting that financial performance and risk levels do not directly dictate CSR practices in the examined companies. These results underscore the importance of contextual factors and strategic resource allocation in understanding CSR disclosure. For policymakers, the findings highlight the need for regulatory measures that encourage all firms, regardless of size or financial standing, to enhance transparency in sustainability reporting. For corporate managers, it suggests that CSR disclosure should not be solely driven by financial performance but rather integrated into long-term stakeholder engagement and risk management strategies. Given the growing expectations for environmental accountability, companies should proactively align their CSR initiatives with regulatory trends and stakeholder demands to enhance legitimacy and competitive advantage.

Abstract

Environmental pollution is a serious problem that can cause the extinction of living things on earth if it is not addressed immediately. Implementing a green supply chain is one form of company attention to answer these demands. This research aims to analyze the influence of green supply chains on company performance. This research was carried out using the literature review method by reviewing various previous studies contained in various electronic journal or literature search databases. The results of this research found that the green supply chain is an important strategy for achieving sustainable development for companies. The biggest driving factors for implementing a green supply chain usually come from outside the company, namely government regulations and environmentally conscious customers. Companies must also evaluate product design and production techniques and presentation in order to produce products that are more environmentally friendly.
