Abstract

The Defense Industry is a central element in maintaining national security, requiring the alignment of military personnel with the sophistication of the main weapons system (alutsista). This article examines the crucial dynamics that tie individual skills in the military to the effective use of advanced defense equipment. The focus is on the evolution of military technology and the need to develop personnel skills in response to these advances. The Defense Industry is the backbone of national security, which requires synergy between the skills of military personnel and the sophistication of the main weapons system (alutsista). This article discusses the crucial link between individual skills in the military and the successful use of advanced defense equipment. Furthermore, the article explains the latest military technological innovations that influence the development of progress and the need for appropriate personnel skill development. By integrating sports skills as a promotional instrument, the article discusses the role of international military tournaments as a vehicle for strengthening the defense industry's image. Active involvement in agility sports not only creates national pride but also stimulates positive coverage in the media, providing a significant boost to the promotion of the defense industry. A wise marketing approach is needed to exploit the appeal of agility sports to educate and captivate the global market. Targeted marketing strategies can utilize agility sports as a tool to promote the defense industry, create emotional ties with the community, and, no less important, increase state revenues through increasing exports of defense equipment. This article also covers effective marketing approaches to maximize the benefits of agility sports involvement in increasing the appeal of the defense industry globally. By detailing case studies of countries that have successfully implemented this strategy, this article concludes that the integration of skills, advanced defense equipment, and promotion of agility sports is a holistic approach that has the potential to advance the defense industry, create national pride, and generate significant revenue increases for the country.

Abstract

Indonesia, with a diverse population of many ethnic groups and rich cultural heritage, is a global, non-competitive multicultural country. Like the variety of flowers in this country's gardens, Indonesia's mosaic of cultures and beliefs is also diverse. Indonesia's rich cultural diversity attracts tourists and is a source of innovation for creative industries. In an effort to fortify Indonesian nationalism, this research aims to display handmade art works by Tapis Lampung. The research methodology used is qualitative using descriptive literature study methodology. Based on research findings, Tapis Lampung is a type of traditional textile that is embroidered with decorative sugi designs using cotton thread and silver or gold thread. The Lampung indigenous people store their life values and character in this Tapis cloth, which is also used in various traditional, religious and wedding events. One of the characteristics of Indonesian society is the Tapis Lampung cloth which is widely sold both domestically and internationally. Tapis Lampung is a cultural achievement of the Lampung people, according to examination from various sources.

Abstract

Modern defense operations require resilient human–AI teaming under cognitive stress, yet static systems often fail to adapt, reducing trust and mission effectiveness. A Systematic Literature Review (2016–2025) across human factors, neuroergonomics, and defense HCI was conducted to conceptualize a Neuroadaptive User Experience (NUX) framework. Findings show that multimodal neurophysiological sensing (EEG, heart rate variability, eye tracking) can detect workload fluctuations, while adaptive interventions—task redistribution, interface simplification, and timing adjustments—sustain performance and accelerate recovery. The NUX framework integrates state sensing, interpretation, adaptive automation, and transparent feedback. Despite challenges in sensor reliability, calibration, and ethical governance, NUX represents a paradigm shift toward human-centered defense systems that enhance resilience, trust, and mission outcomes.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji potensi serat kenaf dalam meningkatkan perlindungan balistik dengan mengeksplorasi peningkatan sifat mekanik serat serta sekaligus mengatasi masalah lingkungan dan mengurangi ketergantungan pada bahan impor seperti serat Kevlar. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan tinjauan literatur, dengan fokus pada sumber-sumber yang kredibel seperti buku, jurnal ilmiah, dan sumber internet yang memiliki keterkaitan langsung dengan topik penelitian untuk dasar menganalisis sifat mekanik dan balistik dari serat tersebut. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa serat kenaf menawarkan kekuatan mekanik dan balistik yang cukup menarik yang dilihat dari stabilitas termal yang menjanjikan, meskipun memiliki daya serap air yang lebih tinggi daripada Kevlar. Berbagai teknik peningkatan, termasuk perlakuan kimia dan hibridisasi dengan serat lain, dibahas untuk mengoptimalkan sifat mekanik dan balistik komposit berbasis kenaf. Ulasan ini menggarisbawahi potensi serat kenaf sebagai alternatif yang layak dalam aplikasi balistik, mendorong keberlanjutan dan efektivitas biaya serta dampak lingkungan dalam pengembangan bahan pertahanan.

Abstract

Teknologi drone dalam operasi militer biasanya menggunakan bahan logam atau plastik yang memiliki keterbatasan: logam kuat dan kaku tetapi berat dan mahal. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengeksplorasi karakteristik dari serat alam sebagai material komposit pada drone dan menemukan potensi pemanfaatannya sebagai bahan material komposit untuk drone, karena serat alam mudah terurai dan banyak ditemukan, seperti serat pelepah pisang, sabut kelapa, tebu, buah lontar, dan serat rami. Serat-serat ini memiliki karakter mekanis menarik, seperti kekuatan tarik tinggi, kekakuan tinggi, dan kepadatan rendah, yang dapat membuat drone lebih ringan, kuat, dan tahan lama. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan studi kepustakaan. Serat rami dianggap paling cocok sebagai dasar kombinasi untuk drone karena kekuatan tarik tinggi, ramah lingkungan, ekonomis, dan mudah diproses.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the role of technology and innovation in the development of the main weaponry system (Alutsista) in Indonesia, with a focus on the domestic textile industry. This research uses a qualitative approach to analyze the dynamics of technological progress and innovation in Indonesia's textile industry. The data collection method includes 15 key informants, such as the Ministry of Defense, Defense Implementing Industries, and experts in the field of defense equipment technology. To supplement the primary data, industry and labor department reports were also analyzed. Data analysis used topic analysis techniques to identify primary and secondary themes. The fundamental conclusion of this study is that innovation and technology play an important role in improving the capability and productivity of the national manufacturing sector. However, there are some significant problems, such as aging technology, declining research and development funds, and so on.

Abstract

One of the uses of radioactive sources is in the field of health, where they are used in hospitals for radiotherapy, nuclear medicine, and radiodiagnostics. Nevertheless, the use of nuclear technology in the health sector produces radioactive waste substances that pose health and environmental risks, and have the potential to be misused by irresponsible groups and terrorists to create radiological weapons that are used in crimes and pose a threat to security. Any activity that utilizes radioactive substances must pay attention to radioactive waste management, which applicable regulations must appropriately manage. The research method used is descriptive research with a qualitative approach, and data collection techniques are used with literature review methods. Radioactive waste produces alpha, beta, and gamma radiation. Radioactive waste treatment techniques can be carried out by separation, storage, transportation, treatment, and final disposal. Governments, hospitals, relevant organizations, and communities should work together to improve the safety of radioactive waste management and protect the environment and human health. It is essential to understand the types of radioactive waste substances, comply with applicable rules and regulations, implement appropriate radioactive waste treatment techniques, and raise awareness about the dangers of radioactive waste substances

Abstract

This journal discusses the strategies needed to build the competitiveness of the Indonesian defense industry to meet the target of Indonesia Emas 2045. The defense industry is an important aspect in achieving this goal as Indonesia faces various security and stability challenges. Through an in-depth review of the factors affecting the competitiveness of the defense industry, this study presents several key strategies that can be implemented to improve the potential and performance of the Indonesian defense industry. These strategies include technology optimization, collaboration among stakeholders, human resource development, increasing production capabilities, and meeting international standards. The research hopes to provide guidance for stakeholders in facing global and regional challenges to ensure Indonesia's defense industry becomes strong and competitive by 2045.

Abstract

Industri pertahanan dalam negeri menghadapi beberapa permasalahan yang ada, baik dari segi manajerial maupun dari segi finansial. Sehingga industri pertahanan nasional dinilai kurang mampu bersaing dengan industri pertahanan dari negara lain. Untuk membangun segi manajerial tersebut dibutuhkan supply chain industri pertahanan yang terorganisir dengan baik agar permintaan alat peralatan pertahanan dan keamanan dapat diproduksi dengan baik dan maksimal. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk menganalisis strategi pengembangan rantai pasok industri pertahaan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisis deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Hasil rekondisi diperoleh nilai IFAS yaitu 3,01 sedangkan EFAS yaitu 3,1. Nilai tersebut lebih besar dari 2, maka strategi yang tepat untuk diterapkan yaitu strategi SO (Strenght-Opportunity), dimana berada dikuadran I dengan strategi agresif. Sehingga strategi yang sesuai dengan kelemahan supply chain industri pertahanan di Indonesia adalah strategi SO. Strategi SO yang bisa diaplikasikan yaitu menggunakan kebijakan baru mengenai anggaran industri pertahanan yang mendukung pengembangan dan kemajuan teknologi, membuat kebijakan industri pertahanan melalui KKIP untuk pengadaan kontrak jangka panjang, serta memanfaatkan sumber daya manusia dan sumber daya alam domestik untuk pengolahan bahan mentah sampai barang jadi dengan manajemen rantai pasok. Hasil akhir dari analisa SWOT berupa alternatif strategi yang nantinya bisa dipakai sebagai pertimbangan dalam menentukan STP: segmentasi – targeting – positioning.

Abstract

Artikel ini menyajikan tentang pentingnya Pengembangan sumber daya manusia yang berkualitas pada penelitian dan pengembangan untuk mendukung BUMN terutama industry pertahanan. Penelitian  menekankan peran dari sumber daya manusia yang berkualitas tinggi dalam mendorong inovasi dan keterbaruan teknologi pada daya saing industry pertahanan. penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan analisis SWOT untuk mengidentifikasi tantangan yang dihadapi dalam mengembangkan kualitas SDM pada litbang industri pertahanan. Berdasarkan hasil analisis, strategi dan rekomendasi dapat dikembangkan untuk mengatasi masalah yang diidentifikasi dalam penelitian ini. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi penting dalam meningkatkan efektivitas SDM pada litbang industri pertahanan, yang pada gilirannya berdampak positif terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi dan kemajuan masyarakat.
