Abstract

his research aims to find out the influence of competence and organizational communication on employee performance with job satisfaction as an intervening variable in KPP Pratama Banda Aceh. The population and sample used in the study totaled 108 employees. Sample withdrawal technique uses saturated samples. Data analysis techniques use path analysis with sobel tests. The results of this study showsthat competence has no effect on employee performance. Communication has an effect on employee performance. Job satisfaction has an effect on employee performance. Competence affects job satisfaction. Communication has an effect on job satisfaction. Competence affects employee performance intervenedby job satisfaction. Communication affects employee performanceintervenedby job satisfaction at KPP Pratama Banda Aceh.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kepribadian dan orientasi kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan dengan penempatan karyawan sebagai variabel mediasi pada PT. Perkebunan Nusantara IV Medan. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode asosiatif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Jumlah populasi dalam penelitian ini sebanak 368 orang dan sampel sebanyak 192 responden dengan emnggunakan Propotional random sampling. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah Patyh analysis dan sobel test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa variabel kepribadian, orientasi kerja dan penempatan karyawan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan teradap kinerja karyawan. Kepribadian dan orientasi kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan melalui penempatan karyawan sebagai variabel mediasi.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah  emotional quotient berpengaruh terhadap kinerja karyawan yang dimediasi oleh etos kerja di Rumah Sakit Umum Muhammadiyah Medan. Variabel yang diteliti pada penelitian ini adalah variabel emotional quotient, etos kerja dan kinerja karyawan.  Desain penelitian path analysis digunakan sebagai analisis untuk mengetahui pengaruh langsung maupun tidak langsung. Dalam penelitian ini populasi yang menjadi sampel yaitu 111 orang karyawan Rumah Sakit Umum Muhammadiyah Medan.  Berdasarkan hasil analisis ditemukan  bahwaVariabel emotional quotient berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan yaitu sebesar 0,537 atau 53,7%, variabel emotional quotient berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap etos kerja sebesar 0,567 atau 56,7 %,  variabel etos kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan sebesar 0,395 atau 39,5% serta variabel etos kerja berpengaruh positif dalam memediasi antara variabel emotional quotient dan kinerja karyawan.

Abstract

This article explains the influence of work discipline, training, and motivation to increase employee productivity at PT. Sukses Anugrah Sejahtera (PT SAS). This article is compiled based on research conducted from March 2024 to September 2024. The research sample consisted of 108 PT SAS employees who worked in three locations, namely the University of North Sumatra, USU Hospital, and the Citra Garden complex with the type of work as Cleaning Service and Security. This type of research is quantitative using a saturated sampling technique. Primary data sources were obtained from respondents through questionnaires. Multiple linear regression analysis assisted by SPSS version 25 software was used to determine the relationship between the variables studied. The results of the study showed that work discipline, work training, and motivation simultaneously had a positive and significant effect on employee productivity at PT. Sukses Anugrah Sejahtera. In addition, partially the variables of work discipline, work training, and motivation each had a positive and significant effect on work productivity. However, motivation is the largest variable in influencing work productivity, while other variables such as work training and work discipline also show a fairly strong influence. The determination test shows that there is a close relationship between work discipline, work training, and work motivation on employee productivity. This is proven by the R-value of 0.516, which means that work discipline, work training, and work motivation have an effect of around 51.6% on the total employee productivity of PT Sukses Anugerah Sejahtera, while other factors outside this research model influence the rest.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of Career Development, Self-Efficacy, and Work Discipline on Employee Performance at the Head Office of PT Bank Sumut Medan. A quantitative approach was applied using a survey method. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to permanent employees at the head office. Multiple linear regression analysis was used to determine the partial and simultaneous effects of the independent variables on employee performance. The results indicate that, partially, Career Development has a significant effect on Employee Performance, suggesting that well-managed career planning and development programs lead to higher employee performance. Self-Efficacy also shows a significant impact, indicating that employees' confidence in completing their tasks greatly contributes to their work effectiveness. Furthermore, Work Discipline significantly influences Employee Performance, revealing that adherence to rules, work schedules, and workplace ethics positively affects productivity. Simultaneously, the three variables have a very significant impact on Employee Performance, with an R Square value of 96%, meaning that the model explains almost all the variation in employee performance. These findings highlight the importance of an integrated human resource management approach to enhance overall employee productivity and performance.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the factors influencing consumers’ purchase intention toward electric vehicles in Medan City. A quantitative approach was employed with a total sample of 123 respondents selected through purposive sampling. The independent variables consist of Attitude (X1), Subjective Norms (X2), Perceived Behavioral Control (X3), Price Value (X4), Perceived Risk (X5), Environmental Self-Image (X6), and Infrastructure Barrier (X7), while the dependent variable is Purchase Intention (Y). Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression with the assistance of SPSS software.   The results indicate that Attitude (X1), Perceived Behavioral Control (X3), Environmental Self-Image (X6), and Infrastructure Barrier (X7) have a positive and significant effect on consumers’ purchase intention toward electric vehicles in Medan City. Meanwhile, Subjective Norms (X2), Price Value (X4), and Perceived Risk (X5) show no significant effect on purchase intention. Therefore, it can be concluded that consumers’ positive attitudes, perceived behavioral control, environmental self-image, and adequate infrastructure support are key factors that enhance consumers’ intention to purchase electric vehicles in Medan City.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of self-efficacy on job satisfaction through employee engagement and to determine the effect of employee empowerment on job satisfaction through employee engagement. The population in this study were 120 employees of PT. Astra International Tbk. - Astra Isuzu Medan (SM Raja Branch). The analysis technique used is multiple linear regression. The results showed that the self-efficacy had a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction mediated by employee engagement. The employee empowerment had a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction mediated by employee engagement. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh self efficacy pada kepuasan kerja melalui employee engagement dan untuk mengetahui pengaruh employee empowerment pada kepuasan kerja melalui employee engagement. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah karyawan PT. Astra Internasional Tbk. - Astra Isuzu Medan (Cabang SM Raja) yang berjumlah 120 orang. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa self efficacy berpengaruh positif dan signifikan pada kepuasan kerja yang dimediasi oleh employee engagement. Empolyee empowerment berpengaruh positif dan signifikan pada kepuasan kerja yang dimediasi oleh employee engagement.

Abstract

This study analyzed the effect of work discipline, competence, and job placement on PT Socfin Indonesia Medan employee performance. This type of research is associative research with a quantitative approach. The population in this study amounted to 135 employees, with a sample  size  of  101.  The  sampling  method  is  simple  random  sampling.  The  data  analysis technique used is multiple linear regression using SPSS Statistics version 26. The results of this study indicate that the work discipline variable had a negative and significant effect on employee  performance.  Competence  has  a  positive  and  significant  effect  on  employee performance. Job placement had a positive and significant effect on employee performance. The variables of work discipline, competence, and job placement simultaneously significantly affected employee performance.Penelitian  ini  bertujuan  untuk  menganalisis  pengaruh  disiplin  kerja,  kompetensi,  dan penempatan kerja pada kinerja karyawan pada PT Socfin Indonesia Medan. Jenis penelitian ini  adalah  penelitian  asosiatif  dengan  pendekatan  kuantitatif.  Populasi  dalam  penelitian  ini berjumlah 135 orang karyawan dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 101 orang. Variabel disiplin kerja, kompetensi dan penempatan kerja secara simultan berpengaruh signifikan pada kinerja karyawan.
