Abstract

The Study Program Digital Business is a new program at IIB Darmajaya which was formed to answer the challenges of industry 4.0 which is thick with digital technology. Based on the trend of the digital economy which is growing rapidly every time. This study seeks to find out what factors are significant in attracting high school students or equivalent so that they can choose to enroll in the Digital Business Program using the Cochran Q Test method. Based on the results of this study, it was found that 5 attributes truly describe the level that students consider the most in determining the decision to choose the Study Program. Based on the results of this factor analysis, the Marketing Bureau at IIB Darmajaya can create a specific marketing campaign on these 5 attributes and have successfully identified the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats of the Program. Digital Business. This analysis, the Program Digital Business can continue to improve student competencies by increasing their flight hours in the field to produce new startups. While maintaining the quality of the curriculum, human resources, and infrastructure in accordance with the times.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze a market anomaly known as the Ramadhan Effect in the Jakarta Islamic Index (JII) and the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Hijrah Shariah Index (FBMHS). The study utilizes secondary data, specifically daily time series data derived from closing prices. The research sample consists of the Jakarta Islamic Index (JII) and the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Hijrah Syariah (FBMHS), covering the period from January 2017 to December 2019. The GARCH (Generalized Autoregressive Conditional Heteroskedasticity) method is employed for analysis. The research findings indicate that there is no evidence of the Ramadhan Effect in the return equations of the Jakarta Islamic Index (JII) and the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Hijrah Syariah (FBMHS). The absence of the Ramadhan Effect's influence on returns is attributed to the stable behavior of both the Jakarta Islamic Index (JII) and the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Hijrah Syariah (FBMHS) during the month of Ramadhan as well as other months

Abstract

Darmajaya Society Center (DSC) is one of the campus canteens located at the Darmajaya Institute of Informatics and Business (IIB Darmajaya). The results of observations made by the service team show an urgency for the implementation of science and technology where the business processes carried out by MSMEs related to recording, ordering and payment systems are still carried out manually. Another problem is that there has been a quite drastic decline in the sales turnover of canteen tenants or DSC MSMEs since the Covid 19 pandemic. The aim of this community service activity is to provide education to MSME players related to digitalization in terms of marketing and finance so that MSME players are able to use developing their business in a digital direction as a effort to increase sales. The activity implementation method used in MSME service activities at DSC is through the active participation method. The active participation method is a method of training and mentoring by identifying problems faced by partners. The results of the service activities carried out are in the form of increased understanding and knowledge of tenants or MSME actors as measured through pretests and posttests for each activity. The results of digital marketing and financial literacy training activities were obtained based on the posttest results of participants reaching an average score of 80% when compared with the average answer of participants in the pretest activity which only reached 40%. In the WhatsApp business training activity, participants obtained posttest results with understanding reaching an average of 70% compared to the average pretest answer which only reached 30%. In the training activity on using Qris, it was found that the posttest results reached an average of 80% when compared to the average answer of participants in the pretest activity which only reached 50%. The conclusion of this activity is the increasing understanding of tenants or MSME actors in the DSC IIB Darmajaya canteen regarding digital marketing and finance as well as the ability of DSC MSME actors to use WhatsApp business applications and non-cash financial applications or Qris.

Abstract

Desa Batu Menyan berada di Kecamatan Teluk Pandan Kabupaten Pesawaran Provinsi Lampung, yang merupakan lokasi wisata bahari unggulan di mana mereka dapat menikmati keindahan pulau-pulau dan taman laut yang ada di laut Pahawang. Keberadaan sampah menjadi masalah di setiap tempat wisata hal tersebut juga terjadi di desa Batu Menyan. Kepala desa Batu Menyan mengungkapkan bahwa masalah sampah wisatawan adalah masalah penting Pengelola Desa Batu Menyan oleh karena itu pendirian Bank Sampah harus benar-benar memahami bagaimana mengelola Bank Sampah terutama mencatat semua transaksi dan membuat laporan keuangan yang baik. Kegiatan Pengabdian ini adalah Optimalisasi Penggunaan Teknologi Keuangan Upaya Peningkatan Literasi Keuangan Masyarakat Pesisir Pantai Di Desa Batu Menyan Melalui Pendirian dan Pelatihan Bank Sampah. Kegiatan ini berfokus pada warga pesisir pantai dan Bumdes Desa Batu Menyan Kabupaten Pesawaran dan menggunakan pendekatan partisipatif diikuti oleh 20 orang. Kegiatan berlangsung selama dua hari dan berfokus pada Pelatihan sistem manajemen keuangan Bank Sampah. Berdasarkan hasil kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat yang dilakukan terkait dengan Optimalisasi Penggunaan Teknologi Keuangan Upaya Peningkatan Literasi Keuangan Masyarakat  Pesisir Pantai Di Desa Batu Menyan Melalui Pendirian dan Pelatihan Bank  diantaranya Bumdes desa batu menyan memiliki pemahaman terkait dengan pengelolaan keuangan bank sampah. Bumdes  desa batu menyan memiliki pemahaman terkait dengan kelayakan pengelolaam keuangan bank sampah. Bumdes  desa batu menyan memiliki kemampuan terkait dengan penggunaan teknologi keuangan bank sampah.

Abstract

The assessment of a company's financial can be ascertained by examining its cash management practices, particularly in relation to achieving an ideal level of Cash Holding. Existing literature indicates that the level of cash reserves held by a firm can serve as an indicator of the quality of its corporate governance framework. The primary aim of this research is to examine the effect of capital expenditures, net working capital, leverage, and board of commissioners towards the cash holdings of companies operating in the real estate and real estate sector. The research focused on the period spanning from 2019 to 2022. The research used an associative research approach, with a sample size of 31 companies that were selected using purposive selection. The data analysis was used a multiple regression approach, specifically employing panel data. The result of the study shows that net working capital, leverage, and the presence of board of commissioners exert a notable affect the cash holdings, however capital expenditures has no significant effect towards cash holdings. The finding shows that it would be prudent for companies operating in the real estate industry to prioritize the efficient management of net working capital and leverage ratios in order to maintain a robust cash position. Moreover, this underscores the imperative of proactive engagement and supervision by the board of commissioners in the process of making budgetary decisions.

Abstract

(1) Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) merupakan instansi pendidikan dengan model pembelajaran sesuai capaian kompetensi lulusan yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan di industri dan dunia kerja (IDUKA). SMK mencetak lulusannya untuk dapat bersaing di dunia industri dan dunia kerja selaras dengan kompetensi keahlian yang dipilihnya. Hampir sekitar 90% siswa di SMKN 4 Bandar Lampung berasal dari penduduk di sekitar lokasi sekolah, yakni Bandar Lampung dan sekitarnya. Akan tetapi pada kenyaataannya masih banyak siswa yang ragu-ragu mengambil jurusan Pariwisata karena kurangnya pemahaman siswa terhadap dunia pariwisata. Hal lain yang menjadi perhatian tim kami yakni kurangnya pengetahuan para siswa terhadap dunia Tourism Marketing dan juga kemampuan pengelolaan SDM. (2) Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan yaitu melalui survey, pendampingan, evaluasi dan selesai. Kegiatan ini dihadiri oleh para siswa kelas 11 jurusan Pariwisata yang berjumlah 35 orang. (3) Kegiatan pendampingan ini dirasakan sangat besar manfaatnya oleh siswa, kepala sekolah berikut jajaran stafnya dan para guru. Kegiatan ini banyak memberikan pengetahuan baru bagi para siswa tentang bagaimana Tourism e-marketing pada dunia pariwisata yang sesungguhnya.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find the effect of asset structure on capital structure, the effect of business risk on capital structure, profitability variable capable of moderating asset structure on capital structure, and profitability variable able to moderate business risk on capital structure. The type of the research was a quantitative research . The data collection technique in this study used purposive sampling, with a sample of 20 companies in the coal mining sub-sector listed on the IDX in 2016-2020. The data analysis method in this study used the panel data regression using Eviews 10. The result of this study found that asset structure had a positive and significant effect on capital structure, business risk had a negative and significant effect on capital structure, profitability was able to moderate asset structure on capital structure, but profitability was not able to moderate business risk to capital structure.

Abstract

The aim of the service activities carried out is to utilize waste as an economic resource through the establishment of a Waste Bank. The method used in this community service activity uses a participatory approach with participatory rural assessment techniques. Implementation of activities is based on stages that are adapted to POAC management principles. The results of the implementation of the activities were considered achieved, this can be seen in the results of the pretest and posttest assessments. The results of the pretest and posttest of the first session regarding the Introduction to the Concept of Waste Banks and the Formation of a Waste Bank Organizational Structure showed an increase in scores with an average pretest score of 40 to 85. Improvement was also visible. from the results of the training in the second session regarding training on the Waste Bank financial management system with an average pretest score of 35 to 75. The service activities produced three outcomes, namely 1) Establishment of a waste bank with the name "Dewi Pelita Waste Bank, Batu Menyan Village; 2) Establishment of the management structure of the Dewi Pelita waste bank in Batu Menyan Village based on the Decree of the Head of Batu Menyan Village. 3) Understanding in managing the financial management system of the Dewi Pelita Waste Bank.

Abstract

Salah satu tantangan yang dihadapi oleh Perguruan Tinggi adalah meningkatkan publikasi lewat sinta score. Selain itu, dapat dilihat juga dari jumlah paper dosen Perguruan Tinggi, baik yang terindeks google scholar dan scopus. Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kurangnya pemahaman dan keterampilan yang memadai dari pemangku kepentingan dalam aplikasi yang bermanfaat dari penelitian yang dilakukan, dan tingkat plagiasi yang masih sangat tinggi serta dalam mencari topik dari jurnal nasional dan internasional. Sehingga solusi yang dilakukan yaitu 1) Pelatihan menulis manuskrip yang akan dipublikasikan pada jurnal internasional dan nasional, 2) Pelatihan mencari novelty dengan analisis bibliometrik, 3) Pelatihan mencari referensi yang legal, dan 4) Pelatihan menggunakan sofware management reference tool. Kegiatan ini dilakukan secara daring selama 1 hari penuh. Sebanyak 100 peserta berpartisipasi yang terdiri dari dosen dan mahasiswa dari kampus di Indonesia. Setelah mengikuti kegiatan pelatihan ini sebanyak 62% dari peserta dapat memahami dalam mencari Research Gap dan Novelty Dengan Bilbiometric Analysis dan sebanyak 68% peserta yang memahami penggunaan Zotero sebagai alat manajemen referensi
