Abstract

Tujuan utama dari kegiatan ini adalah untuk meningkatkan keterampilan penelitian dan integritas akademik mahasiswa melalui pelatihan pembuatan manajer referensi menggunakan Microsoft Word. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan di Program Studi Pendidikan Teknologi Informasi (PTI) Universitas Pendidikan Mandalika (UNDIKMA) dan melibatkan 38 mahasiswa semester 1 prodi PTI. Metode yang digunakan adalah instruksi langsung dengan penjelasan langkah demi langkah mengenai fitur seperti insert citation, manage sources, dan bibliography di Microsoft Word. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam pengetahuan mahasiswa tentang manajemen referensi. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan nilai N-gain, di mana 29 mahasiswa mencapai kategori sedang dengan nilai N-gain di atas 0,3 dan 9 mahasiswa mencapai kategori tinggi dengan nilai N-gain sebesar 0,7. Pelatihan ini membuat mahasiswa lebih mahir dalam mengelola referensi mereka secara efisien dan akurat, serta meningkatkan kualitas tugas dan karya ilmiah mereka. Rekomendasinya adalah untuk mengintegrasikan pelatihan serupa ke dalam kurikulum agar memberikan manfaat jangka panjang. Dukungan berkelanjutan melalui pelatihan tambahan dan sumber daya yang memadai sangat penting untuk memastikan perkembangan terus-menerus dalam keterampilan manajemen referensi. Dengan demikian, diharapkan mahasiswa lebih siap memenuhi standar profesional dan akademik di masa depan. Training on Making References Managers to Support Student Lecture Assignments The primary objective of this activity is to enhance research skills and academic integrity of students through training in creating reference managers using Microsoft Word. Conducted in the Information Technology Education (PTI) Study Program at the University of Mandalika Education (UNDIKMA), this activity involved 38 first-semester PTI students. The direct instruction method was used, providing step-by-step explanations on features like insert citation, manage sources, and bibliography in Microsoft Word. The training resulted in a significant increase in students' knowledge of reference management. This was evidenced by the N-gain scores, with 29 students achieving medium category scores above 0.3 and 9 students achieving high category scores of 0.7. The training made students more proficient in efficiently and accurately managing their references, improving the quality of their assignments and scientific papers.The recommendation is to integrate similar training into the curriculum for long-term benefits. Ongoing support through additional training and resources is essential to ensure continuous development in reference management skills. This will better prepare students to meet future professional and academic standards.

Abstract

Pelatihan penggunaan aplikasi Question.AI di Dusun Aik Are bertujuan untuk meningkatkan literasi teknologi warga dalam mendampingi pembelajaran anak-anak di rumah, khususnya pada mata pelajaran matematika. Metode pelaksanaan mencakup pendataan peserta, sosialisasi, dan pelatihan langsung dengan pendekatan direct instruction. Kegiatan ini melibatkan fasilitator dari Universitas Pendidikan Mandalika (UNDIKMA) yang memberikan panduan teknis, mulai dari instalasi aplikasi hingga penggunaannya. Mitra utama pelatihan adalah warga Dusun Aik Are yang memiliki keterbatasan akses teknologi pendidikan. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan peningkatan kemampuan peserta dalam menggunakan aplikasi Question.AI, dengan 100% peserta menyatakan pelatihan efektif membantu instalasi dan penggunaan aplikasi. Dampak positif mencakup meningkatnya kepercayaan diri warga dalam mendampingi pembelajaran anak-anak dan terciptanya budaya belajar berbasis teknologi di rumah. Kesimpulannya, pelatihan ini berhasil meningkatkan literasi teknologi warga dan memberikan dampak jangka panjang bagi komunitas. Rekomendasi meliputi perluasan materi pelatihan untuk mencakup aplikasi pembelajaran lain dan evaluasi keberlanjutan dampak pelatihan. Training Using Question.AI to Help Aik Are Residents Accompany Their Children's Learning at Home The training on using the Question.AI application in Dusun Aik Are aimed to enhance the community's technological literacy in supporting their children's learning at home, particularly in mathematics. The implementation methods included participant data collection, socialization, and hands-on training using the direct instruction approach. Facilitators from Universitas Pendidikan Mandalika (UNDIKMA) provided technical guidance, from app installation to its usage. The primary partners for the training were the residents of Dusun Aik Are, who faced limited access to educational technology. The results showed improved participant proficiency in using the Question.AI application, with 100% of participants affirming the training's effectiveness in assisting installation and application use. Positive impacts included increased confidence among residents in guiding their children's learning and the establishment of a technology-based learning culture at home. In conclusion, this training successfully improved technological literacy and delivered long-term benefits for the community. Recommendations include expanding the training materials to cover other educational applications and evaluating the sustainability of the training's impact.

Abstract

This research aims to produce a product in the form of an ethnoscience-based learning tool to improve the scientific literacy of prospective physics teachers that is valid and effective. The products developed are Student Worksheets (LKMs), teaching materials, and test instruments. This study used the research and development with the 4D model which consists of Define, Design, Develop and Disseminate. Data collection techniques used validation sheets and evaluation tools. The validity of the device data was analyzed using a Likert scale. The validity of the product was assessed by three expert validators. Assessment by validators with valid to very valid criteria. The effectiveness of the teaching materials developed by the researcher can be seen through the improvement of students' scientific literacy based on the results of the N-Gain test after being given a pretest and posttest. The results of this study indicate that the integration of ethnoscience-based teaching materials has a positive impact on improving students' scientific literacy in physics learning. The average pre-test score of 70.48 describes the students' initial understanding before ethnoscience-based learning. After participating in the learning, the average score increased to 83.33 on the post-test, which indicates that the material adapted to the local culture helps in understanding physics concepts more deeply. In addition to the increase in the average score, the N-gain score of 37.56% shows the effectiveness of ethnoscience-based learning in improving scientific literacy at a fairly significant level. This shows that, although there is still room for improvement, this approach has succeeded in increasing students' understanding of physics through the integration of cultural aspects.

Abstract

Tradisi Pukul Rantok merupakan tradisi Suku Samawa yang dilaksanakan ketika gerhana (matahari atau bulan) sedang berlangsung. Seiring berjalanannya waktu tradisi tersebut mulai kehilangan konsep dasar yang melatar belakanginya. Sehingga, tradisi tersebut hanya dipandang sebagai suatu mitos belaka yang tidak logis dan penuh dengan tahayul semata. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengangkat kembali eksistensi etnosains dan produknya kearifan local dengan jalan melakukan interpretasi konsep-kosep etnosains yang mengkonstruk kearifan local tradisi pukul rantok di masyarakat suku samawa menggunakan konsep-konsep sains modern. Sehingga, dengan eksistensi etnosains dan produknya (kearifan local), diharapan dapat menemukan tempatnya lagi dan dapat berkembang beriringan dengan sains modern. Pada penelitian ini, ada dua jenis data yang digunakan yakni: data primer dan data sekunder. Data primer diperoleh melalui wawancara dengan salah satu anggota masyarakt suku samawa diperantarai oleh seorang penerjemah atau interpreter. Selanjutnya, data primer diperoleh dari sumber berita yang terpercaya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa etnosains dan kearifan lokal suku samawa terhadap fenomena gerhana relevan dengan konsep-konsep sains moderen. Pemahaman suku samawa terhadap fenomena gerhana sangat mendalam yang dibuktikan dengan adanya tradisi pukul rantok yang dapat dijelaskan secara sains modern untuk mencegah atau untuk menghilangkan dampak negative dari gerhana tersebut.

Abstract

Objective: This study investigates the declining enrollment trend in the Physics Education Study Program at Universitas Pendidikan Mandalika (UNDIKMA), a private higher education institution in West Nusa Tenggara, Indonesia. The objective is to identify the factors contributing to reduced student interest and to propose strategic interventions to revitalize the program amid increasing competition between public and private universities. Method: A mixed-methods approach was employed, combining longitudinal analysis of enrollment data with qualitative insights from interviews, surveys, and document reviews. Comparative data from similar study programs at both private and public universities in the region were also examined. Additionally, SWOT and TOWS analyses were conducted to generate strategic recommendations. Results: The findings reveal a consistent decline in enrollment, influenced by limited career prospects for physics education graduates, dominance of public universities in the region, outdated curricula, and weak promotional strategies. Comparative analysis underscores structural disparities in institutional reputation and resource allocation between private and public institutions. Novelty: This study highlights the urgent need for contextually adaptive strategies to sustain science-based teacher education in non-metropolitan regions. The proposed interventions—curriculum restructuring, digital rebranding, alum engagement, and hybrid learning formats—offer an integrated framework for enhancing program appeal. The research contributes to policy discourse on sustaining strategic academic programs in private institutions by emphasizing the importance of institutional identity and targeted communication.

Abstract

Objective: Equitable access to education is a fundamental prerequisite for human capital development and social justice in Indonesia. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of education equity policies under the administration of President Prabowo Subianto, focusing on programs such as Sekolah Rakyat, the Indonesia Smart Program (PIP), and the Frontline Teacher and School Initiatives (GGD/SGD). Method: Employing a qualitative approach through library research, the study systematically reviews secondary data from scholarly literature published in the last five years, government policy documents, and reports from national and international institutions, including UNICEF and UNESCO. The analysis was conducted through thematic coding, synthesis of findings, and evaluative assessment using an input–output–outcome framework. Results: The findings reveal that affirmative programs have significantly expanded access to education, particularly in frontier, outermost, and underdeveloped (3T) regions, as well as for marginalized groups. However, persistent challenges remain in the uneven distribution and quality of teachers, inadequate physical and digital infrastructure, limited digital literacy, and policy approaches that are still largely top-down and insufficiently responsive to local contexts. These issues hinder the achievement of truly inclusive and high-quality education. Novelty: The key contribution of this study lies in its integrative perspective that combines structural (infrastructure), technological (digital platforms), human resource (teachers), and normative (human rights-based) dimensions. By advancing adaptive, evidence-based, and participatory strategies, this study provides a comprehensive framework for reshaping education policy in Indonesia toward greater inclusivity and equity.

Abstract

Objective: This study aims to systematically examine the use of Bloom's Taxonomy in formative and summative evaluations as an important instrument for measuring student learning outcomes. The revised Bloom's Taxonomy offers a systematic cognitive framework from levels C1 (remembering) to C6 (creating), which can be used as a basis for developing valid and meaningful evaluations. Method: This study was conducted using a systematic literature review method on 30 articles published between 2020 and 2025. The analysis results indicate that the application of Bloom's Taxonomy in formative evaluations is still dominated by lower cognitive levels (C1-C2), despite efforts to strengthen the approach to higher-order thinking. Meanwhile, Bloom-based summative evaluations have demonstrated increased validity and alignment with learning outcomes, particularly through the use of rubrics and authentic assessments.  Results:  This study also identified various challenges, such as low teacher competency in developing taxonomy-based instruments and the suboptimal integration of technology, including artificial intelligence, to support adaptive evaluation. Nevertheless, several practical strategies were identified, such as teacher training, the use of competency-based question banks, and the development of digital-based project evaluations.  Novelty: The integration of Bloom's Taxonomy into learning evaluation has significant potential to improve assessment quality, mainly if supported by systemic policies, ongoing training, and technological innovation. This research provides a conceptual contribution to the development of an evaluation system that is fair, objective, and relevant to the needs of 21st-century education.

Abstract

This development research aims to produce a product in the form of an ethnophysics-based learning tool to improve prospective physics teachers' valid and effective self-regulation. The products developed are Lecture Event Units known as SAP, Student Worksheets or LKM, Teaching Materials, and test instruments. The research design used is a 4D model consisting of Defining, Designing, Developing, and Disseminating. Data collection techniques use validation sheets and evaluation tools. Device validity data was analyzed using a Likert scale. Three expert validators assess product validity. Assessment by validators with valid to very valid criteria. The effectiveness of the teaching materials developed by researchers can be determined by increasing students' self-regulation based on the results of the N-Gain test after being given a pretest and posttest. The planning indicators show that the percentage of students who were suitable/suitable before implementing the ethno-physics learning model was 42%. This indicates that more than 50% of students have self-management related to learning planning that still needs to be improved. Applying the ethno-physics learning model as a stimulus to help students manage good learning planning contributed 36%, increasing to 78%. The monitoring indicator also has the same increase in the number of students as the planning indicator, namely 36%. This can be described as more and more students being able to manage their learning by monitoring their learning process. The evaluation indicator shows the largest percentage increase in the number of students, namely 38%, while it is only 28% for strengthening. This indicates that the ethno-physics learning model has the greatest contribution to stimulating students' evaluation abilities

Abstract

Tujuan dari pengembangan ini adalah menghasilkan bahan ajar berbasis VAK (Visualization, Auditory, Kinesthetic) pada materi fisika. Model pengembangan yang digunakan dalam penelitian pengembangan ini adalah ADDIE, dimana model ADDIE terdiri dari 5 tahap pengembangan yaitu tahap analysis, design, development, implementatio dan evaluation. Tetapi pada tahap pengembangan ini peneliti hanya menggunakan 3 tahap yaitu analysis, design, dan development. Hasil penelitian ini adalah sebuah produk bahan ajar berbasis VAK yang mengacu pada silabus kurikulum 2013. Hasil validasi ahli terhadap materi dan desain pada bahan ajar berbasis VAK dengan persentase validator 1 yaitu 98% (sangat layak), validator 2 dengan persentase 98% (sangat Layak) dan validator 3 dengan persentase 97% (sangat layak). Selain itu juga hasil validasi terhadap bahan ajar berbasis VAK menunjukkan bahwa bahan ajar yang dikembangkan termasuk dalam kategori sangat valid baik dilihat dari kelayakan format, isi, cakupan materi, bahasa yang digunakan serta penyajian bahan ajar tersebut sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa pengembangan bahan ajar berbasis VAK layak untuk dijadikan sebagai bahan ajar.
