Abstract

Rendahnya minat masyarakat untuk menanam sayur-sayuran adalah karena terbatasnya lahan dan juga kurangnya pengetahuan warga sekitar tentang pemanfaatan lahan yang ada. Kurangnya pengetahuan dan pelatihan mengenai penyiapan media tanah, penyediaan pupuk organik dari bahan sekitar dan pemanfaataan limbah dan bahan yang ada disekitar sebagai media tanam. Metode yang di terapkan pada penerapan kawasan rumah pangan lestari dilaksanakan secara theoretical dan practical. Kegiatan yang dilakukan antara lain sosialasi kepada masyarkat akan pentingnya menjaga ketahan pangan dan memanfaatkan pekarangan rumah atau lahan sempit dengan bercocok tanam secara hidroponik dan vertikultur serta melakukan praktik langsung dan menerapkan sistem KRPL di lokasi KKN Terpadu era New Normal. Penerapan KRPL merupakan solusi untuk menjadikan pekrangan/lahan sempit menjadi produktif. Dalam merealisasikan dan mencapai tujuan tersebut di atas, maka dengan adanya program Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) di Desa Gunungsari.

Abstract

This study aims to measure the effectiveness of science learning devices with causalitic model integrated character values and local wisdom to improve students' Problem-Solving Ability (PSA). The study used a mixed method as a modify of the explanatory design and statistical analysis using the Wilcoxon t-test. The analysis results show that the implementation of devices is significantly effective in developing the PSA of students of Public Junior High School (JHS) 3 Labuapi, West Lombok Regency, West Nusa Tenggara Province. The device developed has been proven to have the exact alignment for all learners when developing the PSA. The developed PSA includes six indicators, namely understanding (IPSA-1), selecting (IPSA-2), differentiating (IPSA-3), determining (IPSA-4), applying (IPSA-5), and identifying (IPSA-6). Statistical analysis was also performed on the difference in the final achievement of each indicator of PSA of the students of High-Group (Hi-group) and Low-Group (Lo-group) for each indicator of PSA (IPSA). The results show that the finals of IPSA-1 up to IPSA-4 have no difference for either Group, but for IPSA-5 and IPSA-6, there are significant differences. The average final PSA scores of the Hi-Group in the two indicators, respectively 77 and 75, are higher than those of the Lo-Group, 56 and 52.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of causal learning model integrated with character values on the ability to master physics concepts and positive attitudes of high school students. The background of the research is based on the low concept ability and positive attitude of students caused by the dominance of conventional learning methods and the lack of integration of character values in the learning process. This study used a quasi-experimental approach with a nonequivalent control group design. The research subjects were 11th grade students of SMA Negeri 4 Mataram in the 2024/2025 school year. The experimental class received treatment using an integrated causal model of character values, while the control class used direct learning. The research instrument consisted of a concept mastery description test and a positive attitude questionnaire for students. Data analysis was carried out by testing validity, reliability, normality, homogeneity, and Mann-Whitney test. The results showed that the application of the integrated causalytic model of character values significantly improved the ability to master physics concepts and positive attitudes of students compared to conventional learning. This model is effective in encouraging students to think causally and analytically, as well as internalizing character values such as responsibility, cooperation, and honesty. Thus, the causal learning model integrated with character values can be an innovative alternative in improving the quality of physics learning and shaping positive student character.

Abstract

Pengabdian masyarakat ini dilatarbelakangi oleh permasalahan mitra dengan lomba penulisan karya ilmiah tingkat madrasah dan siswa yang belum memiliki prestasi karya ilmiah, seperti tips menulis proposal penelitian, hasil penelitian ilmiah yang belum dipublikasikan, atau siswa belum melakukannya dengan baik di Madrasah Young Researcher Supercamp (MYRES) dalam rangka Lomba Karya Tulis Ilmiah. Berikut ini adalah bagaimana pengabdian masyarakat dilakukan: 1) Teknik Pengajaran; 2) Metode Tanya Jawab; dan Metode Simulasi untuk menjelaskan kepada mahasiswa pentingnya kiat-kiat dalam menulis proposal penelitian dan karya ilmiah serta memotivasi mereka, maka dipilihlah metode ceramah. Baik saat menerima petunjuk cara melaksanakan karya ilmiah maupun saat praktik, format pertanyaan dan jawaban sangat penting bagi peserta pelatihan. Metode simulasi ini sangat penting bagi peserta pelatihan karena memberi mereka kesempatan untuk mempraktekkan apa yang telah mereka pelajari. Ini memungkinkan mereka melihat seberapa baik mereka dapat menerapkan kegiatan penulisan ilmiah teknis dan masalah apa yang perlu diperbaiki nanti. Penilaian latihan dilakukan pada saat interaksi dan menjelang akhir persiapan, pada bagian pencapaian target persiapan dan selanjutnya pada pelaksanaan persiapan. Penilaian siklus dan hasil (pencapaian penyusunan target) dilakukan dengan dokumentasi. Sementara itu, kuesioner digunakan untuk menilai berbagai aspek pelaksanaan pelatihan. Dua pendekatan yang digunakan untuk mengukur keberhasilan pemberian bantuan penulisan karya ilmiah adalah: 1) Penilaian selama tindakan, dan (2) penilaian setelah tindakan selesai. Indikator penilaian rata-rata telah melampaui indikator keberhasilan pada pertemuan kedua, hal ini menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan pendampingan penulisan karya ilmiah dalam rangka persiapan Madrasah Young Researcher Supercamp (MYRES) berhasil ditetapkan sebesar 80%.
