Abstract

The formulation of the problem in this study is; 1). What is the process or stages of the traditional rite of pa'a loka in the water source in the Lio Ende indigenous community, 2), What is the message of ecological awareness in the ritual of pa'a loka in the water source in the indigenous people of Lio Ende. 3). What is the ecological and anthropological view in the rite of pa'a loka water source in the indigenous people of Lio Ende.The purpose of this study is to; 1). Knowing the process of pa; a loka at water sources in the indigenous people of Lio Ende, 2). Knowing the message of ecological awareness in the ritual of pa'a loka at the water source in the indigenous people of Lio Ende. The rite of the water source in the Lio Ende community.3). To know the ecological and anthropological views of the ritual of the water source in the Lio Ende community. The method used in this study is qualitative descriptive. The data collection techniques are observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis techniques in this study are; 1) data collection, 2) data reduction, 3) data presentation. 4) Draw conclusions. The results of the study show that the process or stages in the rite of pa'a loka water source in the indigenous people of Lio Ende go through three stages, namely; preparation, implementation and final. The message for the younger generation is that traditional rituals continue to be carried out, protecting the forest by, not illegally logging, so that the water discharge remains stable. Through the ritual of the Lio Ende indigenous people, ask for the blessing of the ancestors and provide abundant water. The ecological view in the ritual pa'a loka at the water source is to maintain a harmonious balance of relations between the environment, nature and humans. Anthropological views; Perpetuate the endless relationship between the surviving generations and the ancestors

Abstract

The problem raised in this research is what is the meaning of Turajaji (eternal covenant) for the Roga indigenous community, East Ndona District, Ende Regency, what is the influence of Turajaji (eternal covenant) for the Roga indigenous community, East Ndona District, Ende Regency. The aim of this research is to find out the meaning of Turajaji (eternal covenant) for the Roga indigenous community, East Ndona District, Ende Regency and to determine the influence of Turajaji (eternal covenant) for the Roga indigenous community, East Ndona District, Ende Regency. The method used in this research is a qualitative research method with data collection techniques, namely observation, interviews and documentation. Meanwhile, data analysis techniques include data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The research results show that Turajaji (an eternal agreement between two or three traditional villages of different/same descent) with the aim of establishing friendship, brotherhood fosters a sense of kinship that lasts throughout life. The meaning contained in Turajaji (eternal covenant) is cultural, social, ethical meaning. The effect or consequence if one of the parties breaks the Turajaji (eternal agreement) is that they receive a mission, nature will punish, because the Turajaji has been strengthened by a deductive oath, namely the destruction of the party who violates the agreement.

Abstract

The problem in this research is what is the meaning of the symbol of women's existence in traditional house ornaments in the Wolotopo traditional village, East Wolotpo Village, Ndona District, Ende Regency. The aim of this research is to find out the meaning of the symbol of women's existence in traditional houses in the Wolotopo traditional community, East Wolotopo Village, Ndona District Ende Regency. The research method used in this research is a qualitative research method, with data collection techniques of observation, interviews and documentation. Meanwhile, the data analysis techniques in this research include data reduction, data presentation and conclusions. The results of the research show that the Wolotopo indigenous people believe that breast ornaments in traditional houses indicate the importance of women's role as a symbol of life and fertility for all humans, which is an ancestral heritage. This symbolizes unity and is a symbol of communication between humans and the highest being. In the life of the Wolotopo traditional community, women have an important role and big responsibilities, which have been inherited by their ancestors and are trusted by the local cultural community, such as women's involvement in traditional household affairs, in various traditional rituals such as working on traditional houses, mosalaki burial rituals and someone's coronation. becoming a traditional figure (wakelaki ritual), opening new land and making statues of gods (Ana deo).
