Abstract

Kecenderungan semakin awal usia menarche mengharuskan program persiapan menghadapi menarche juga dilaksanakan sejak dini pada usia 10-11 tahun yaitu pada kelas V sekolah dasar (SD). Siswi SD di Desa Carangsari belum siap menghadapi menarche. Storytelling merupakan salah satu cara dalam pemberian informasi pada anak usia sekolah. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk membentuk program edukasi kesiapan menghadapi menarche bagi siswi SD di Desa Carangsari. Metode pengabdian yaitu advokasi bagi pemangku kepentingan dan edukasi kesiapan menarche dengan metode storytelling kepada siswi SD. Kegiatan dilaksanakan di Desa Carangsari, Kecamatan Petang, Kabupaten Badung, Brovinsi Bali tahun 2023. Hasil kegiatan ini menunjukkan komitmen pemangku kepentingan untuk membentuk program edukasi kesiapan menghadapi menarche dengan metode storytelling secara berkelanjutan 1) Buku cerita edukasi kesehatan reproduksi tentang persiapan menghadapi menarche dengan judul “Menarche penyakit berbahaya, benarkah?” tersimpan di perpustakaan sekolah SDN 1, 2, 3 dan 5 Carangsari; 2) Terbentuknya program persiapan menghadapi menarche dengan metode storytelling di masing-masing sekolah; 3) Terlaksananya edukasi persiapan menghadapi menarche dengan metode storytelling di SDN 1, 2, 3 dan 5 Carangsari; 4) Meningkatnya kengetahuan dan kesiapan siswi SD kelas V dan VI dalam menghadapi menache di Desa Carangsari. Hasil Survei menunjukan program edukasi dengan metode storytelling secara berkelanjutan meningkatkan kesiapan siswi SD menghadapi menarche dengan rata-rata sebelum kegiatan 7,61 menjadi 9,07 setelah kegiatan.

Abstract

The high number of mother and baby deaths is still a significant health problem; the community is expected to play a decrease in the decline in the figure. Health cadres are the selected and trained society to help healthcare in health attempts, including pre-determination of pregnancy risk factors. Health cadies need to be given health education with more effective methods in enhancing the development of the presence of pregnancy factor of the pregnancy of the only one with the talk of the talk and role play. The purpose of researching is to know the difference in caders' knowledge before and after being given health education with lectures and role play in the village of Dangin Puri Klod. The design used by pre-experiment with pretest-post stating design. Implementation in February-March 2023 with Purposive Sampling Technique. The amount of samples is 55 cadres. Research instruments use questionnaires. Data analysis using the Wilcoxon test. Pretest results showed that 19 people (34.5%) have good knowledge, 20 people (36.4%) with sufficient knowledge, 16 people (29.1%) have less knowledge, and post-test results show 55 people (100%) have good knowledge. Wilcoxon test results are significant differences in Kader's knowledge with a P-value of 0.000 <0.05. From the results of the statistical tests obtained throughout, the respondents experienced an increase in knowledge. Researchers suggestions so that cadres practice determining the risk factor on the field so that the case of domestic detection by the community can increase.   Abstrak Tingginya angka kematian ibu dan bayi masih menjadi masalah kesehatan utama, masyarakat diharapkan dapat berperan dalam upaya penurunan angka tersebut. Kader kesehatan merupakan masyarakat yang dipilih dan dilatih untuk membantu tenaga kesehatan dalam upaya kesehatan termasuk deteksi dini faktor resiko kehamilan. Kader kesehatan perlu diberikan pendidikan kesehatan dengan metode yang lebih efektif dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan deteksi dini faktor resiko kehamilan salah satunya yaitu dengan metode ceramah dan role play. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui perbedaan pengetahuan kader sebelum dan sesudah diberikan pendidikan kesehatan dengan ceramah dan role play di Desa Dangin Puri Klod. Desain yang digunakan pre-eksperiment dengan pretest-posttest design. Pelaksanaan pada bulan Februari - Maret 2023 dengan teknik Purposive Sampling. Jumlah sampel adalah 55 kader. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan kuesioner. Analisa data menggunakan uji Wilxocon. Hasil pretest menunjukkan sebanyak 19 orang (34.5%) memiliki pengetahuan baik, 20 orang (36.4%) dengan pengetahuan cukup, 16 orang (29.1%) memiliki pengetahuan kurang dan hasil posttest menunjukkan 55 orang (100%) memiliki pengetahuan baik. Hasil uji Wilxocon terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan pada pengetahuan kader dengan p-value 0.000<0.05. Dari hasil uji statistik diperoleh seluruh responden mengalami peningkatan pengetahuan. Saran peneliti agar kader dapat mempraktekkan deteksi dini faktor resiko di lapangan sehingga cakupan deteksi dini oleh masyarakat dapat meningkat.

Abstract

Toddler nutrition is a health problem. Nutritional knowledge can influence toddler feeding patterns so that it can improve toddler nutrition. This study aims to determine the relationship between maternal knowledge about nutrition and feeding patterns for toddlers at the Regional Technical Implementation Unit of the Dawan I Klungkung Community Health Center. This type of quantitative research uses correlation analytical methods with a cross-sectional approach. The research was conducted March 3rd week to April 3rd week of 2024. Samples were taken using the proportional sampling method totaling 97 respondents. The research instrument uses a questionnaire via Google Form. The results of univariate data analysis were that the mother had a good level of knowledge (79%) and appropriate feeding patterns (90,7%) while bivariate analysis using the contingency test obtained a p value <0,05. The conclusion of this research is that there is a relationship between mothers' knowledge about toddler nutrition and toddler feeding patterns. It is hoped that the Dawan I Klungkung Regional Technical Implementation Unit will hold a routine program for posyandu activities related to nutrition education for toddlers.

Abstract

Generasi sehat perlu dipersiapkan dari perencanaan kehamilan yang baik pada masa prakonsepsi. Kehamilan yang tidak direncanakan dengan baik dapat meningkatkan risiko kelahiran dengan kelainan kongenital. Kelas prakonsepsi merupakan alternatif pemecahan masalah yang dapat memberikan edukasi tentang persiapan masa prakonsepsi untuk mempersiapkan kehamilan yang sehat.Tujuan pengabdian masayarakat ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan sikap WUS dalam mempersiapkan kehamilan yang sehat. Kegiatan ini dilakukan pada 30 orang WUS dengan metode ceramah, diskusi dan tanyajawab. Hasil pengabdian masyarakat menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan signifikan rerata pengetahuan WUS sebelum dan sesudah diberikan edukasi melalui kelas prakonsepsi. Sebagian besar WUS mempunyai sikap positif terhadap persiapan kehamilan dan penurunan kecemasan/kekhawatiran WUS tentang kehamilan. Diharapkan bidan dapat memberikan edukasi melalui kelas prakonsepsi untuk persiapan kehamilan yang sehat.

Abstract

Stunting merupakan prioritas masalah gizi di Indonesia yang memberikan dampak kehidupan anak sampai dewasa. Prevalensi stunting di Indonesia mencapai 30,8% kemudian menurun dari 24,4% (2021) menjadi 21,6% di tahun 2022, namun masih melebihi standar WHO (<20%)(No TitleStrategi mencegah stunting, n.d.). Proporsi Stunting di Kabupaten Bangli menduduki posisi tertinggi di Bali yaitu 28,2 % dan meningkat dari tahun sebelumnya yaitu 27,5%. Masalah prioritas adalah pemanfaatan buku KIA kurang maksimal, karena masih ada ibu tidak membawa Buku KIA ke posyandu, pengisian Buku KIA belum lengkap, pengisian berat badan, tinggi badan belum lengkap, penyegaran kader terkait stunting sangat minimal. Tujuan pengabmas meningkatkan perlaku kader dalam pemanfaatan buku Kesehatan ibu dan anak dalam upaya pencegahan stunting. Prioritas kebutuhan yaitu belum pernah dilakukan kegiatan pendampingan bagi kader Posyandu balita tentang Buku KIA dengan menggunakan media yang lebih bervariasi. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendampingan kader posyandu balita dengan media video, diawali pretest perilaku kader, dilanjutkan pemberian edukasi dan sharing peran kader saat kegiatan posyandu, penayangan video edukasi. Selanjutnya video dibagikan melalui whatsaff group kader melalui link youtube pengabdi. Diakhir evaluasi pretest saat kegiatan posyandu balita. Hasilnya adalah sebanyak 30 kader dilakukan pendampingan, Terdapat peningkatan pengetahuan, sikap dan keterampilan kader posyandu balita, artinya pendampingan dengan metode yang bervariasi dan media video bermanfaat dalam meningkatkan perilaku kader.

Abstract

Risk factors for risky behavior in adolescents include a lack of knowledge about reproductive health and the impact of sexual behavior. The aim of this research is to determine differences in knowledge of young women about premarital sexual behavior who are given health education using video media and flip sheets. This type of research is pretest-posttest with control group design. Implementation in April 2024 with random sampling involving 60 teenagers divided into 2 groups. Data collection by distributing knowledge questionnaires that have been declared valid and reliable. Data analysis using univariate and bivariate. The difference between pretest and posttest knowledge scores in the video group obtained an average N-gain score of 66%, which is quite effective in increasing teenagers' knowledge. Meanwhile, the average N-gain score for the flip sheet group was 41%, which was included in the less effective category in increasing teenagers' knowledge. The results of the Mann Whitney test obtained a p-value of 0.08 (p<0.1), which means that there is a significant difference in knowledge scores and health education through video media is more effective than flip-sheet media so there is a difference in health education through video and sheet media. feedback on the knowledge of young women about premarital sexual behavior at the youth posyandu in Tibubeneng Village. It is hoped that Community Health Centers can consider video media in providing health education because it is more effective in increasing teenagers' knowledge regarding premarital sexual behavior.

Abstract

Cakupan pemberian ASI Ekslusif sampai saat ini masih rendah yaitu sebesar 37,3%. Salah satu faktor yang mendukung keberhasilan pemberian ASI Esklusif adalah faktor internal ibu khususnya Breastfeeding Self Efficacy (BSE). Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis hubungan umur dan paritas dengan BSE pada ibu nifas. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian cross sectional. Responden penelitian adalah 30 orang ibu nifas, dengan teknik pengambilan consecutive sampling sesuai dengan kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi. Pengukuran BSE menggunakan kuesioner breastfeeding self-efficacy scale short form (BSES-SF) dengan validitas dan reabilitas instrumen koefisien cronbach’s alpha sebesar 0,87213. Analisis data menggunakan uji fisher’s exact untuk menganalisis hubungan antar variabel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan sebagian besar responden penelitian berada pada kategori usia reproduksi sehat (86,67%), pendidikan terakhir adalah pendidikan menengah (46,7%), status bekerja (76,7%), primipara (66,67%) dan BSE pada kategori rendah (56,67%). Uji bivariat menunjukkan tidak ada hubungan umur dengan BSE (p=0,6) dan tidak ada hubungan paritas dengan BSE (p=0,7). Simpulan dari penelitian ini adalah tidak terdapat hubungan umur dan paritas dengan BSE. Disarankan agar edukasi pada ibu nifas dilakukan secara berkelanjutan untuk meningkatkan efikasi dan cakupan ASI eksklusif.

Abstract

Adolescent health efforts are activities that aim to help adolscents become healthy adults. The change towards adolescence is marked by puberty, such as the occurrence of menstruation in teenage girls. Before expriencing the menstrual phase, woman will experience symptoms such as stomach ache, difficulty concentrating and sharp emotional changes called premenstrual syndrome. The aim of this research is to determine the description of knowledge and attitudes about premenstrual syndrome in class IX students at SMP Negeri 1 Selemadeg Barat. This research wa conducted from March to April 2024 at SMP Negeri 1 Selemadeg Barat. This type of research is descriptive research with design cross sectional. The number of respondents used was 64 female students. Data collection includes filling out knowledge and attitudequestionnaires. The results of the study showed that the majority of respondents ages 15 years, began to experience menarche at the age of 12, has no sisters and the majority obtains information from the surrounding environment. The assessment regarding female students’ knowledge obtained results, only a few got good marks, namely 10 female students (15,6%) and the majority of female students showed a positive attitude, namely 36 female students (56,25%). Female students are advised to learn more about premenstrual syndrome and local health center staff are advised to provide edication to female students to from an attitude of students who are ready to face the problem menarche and premenstrual syndrome.

Abstract

The high number of cases of non-communicable diseases is the main cause of death in Indonesia in 2020, one of which is breast cancer. The problem of breast cancer in Indonesia can be overcome through breast self-examination. The aim of this research was to determine the difference in knowledge of women of childbearing age before and after education about breast self-examination using video in Selabih Village Tabanan. This research includes research Quasi Experimental by design One Group Pretest-Posttest. The number of samples used was 53 women of childbearing age. Data collection includes filling out a knowledge questionnaire pretest and posttest. Before being given education, the median score was 85 with score range of 65-100 and after being given education the median score increased to 90 with score range of 80-100. Analysis results used tests wilcoxon show p-value of 0.000 which can be concluded that there is a difference in knowledge of women of childbearing age before and after education about breast self-examination using video. The use of this educational video should be continued by midwives at local health centers as a medium of education for women of childbearing age so that they are able to do BSE regularly.

Abstract

Breast milk is the best food for babies. Only 54% of babies aged 0-6 months receive exclusive breastfeeding in Carangsari Village. Failure to breastfeed occurs because mothers lack confidence in being able to breastfeed. The program aims to increase the breastfeeding self-efficacy of pregnant women through a breastfeeding preparation program integrated into the Kelas Ibu program. The community service method is advocacy and socialization to local leaders, preparation of a breastfeeding preparation program plan and implementation of the program for pregnant women. The community service was carried out in 2024 in Carangsari Village, Petang District, Badung Regency-Bali. Program evaluation was carried out by assessing breastfeeding self-efficacy before and after program implementation. The results of the community service were: 1) The breastfeeding preparation program integrated into the Kelas Ibu Program received support from the local leader and community; 2) The breastfeeding preparation program plan was realized in the form of a Breastfeeding Preparation Class Learning Plan and trained facilitators; 3) After the implementation of the breastfeeding preparation program, there was an increase in the breastfeeding self-efficacy of pregnant women. The implementation of the integrated breastfeeding preparation program in the Kelas Ibu Program can be continued to increase the success of providing exclusive breastfeeding.
