Abstract

Traffic accidents are the main indicator of road safety levels. There were 2,225 traffic accidents throughout 2019 in Lampung Province with 724 deaths, 1240 seriously injured, and 2015 minor injuries. The research was conducted to the identification of the black site and black spot in Lampung Province. The method used in this research is the EAN, Z-score, Frequency of accidents method calculates accident-prone areas to get the value of the accident location (Black Site) and the Cumulative Summary method to identify the black spot. The results showed from 93 roads, there is 1 road which is the highest black link of each road status. The accident-prone area (black site) is Jalan Lintas Tengah Sumatra and accident-prone points (black spot) at KM 18-26 are influenced by land use, road geometric, and traffic signs.

Abstract

Abstract

Tourism is a journey made from one place to another with the intention of doing sightseeing and recreation. The tourism area has a very important role to improve the economy for the local community. Many tourism activities depend on transportation. To support smooth access to tourist attractions, good facilities and infrastructure are needed. Good infrastructure in this case is needed to facilitate accessibility, reduce accident rates and avoid the risk of fatal accident victims. The study was conducted to analyze the level of road risk categories in the Dieng tourism route. The method used in collecting data in this study was to conduct a survey using the Hawkeye 2000 series and the Hawkeye Data Processing Toolkit software was used to analyze the data. From the results of the analysis, it was found that the tourism route section contained an aspect of the road geometric with a moderately dangerous risk category (CB), namely Roughness/IRI and for the aspect of harmonization of road equipment there was a very dangerous category (SB), namely lane width, road shoulder width. , and street lighting which on this route has technical deviations and high accident probability and impact. The road safety risk on the Kajen–Dieng tourism route is Moderately Dangerous (CB) with a risk level of 127.

Abstract

The use of recycling technologies to the principles of green roads should get priority. Reclaimed Asphalt Pavement (RAP) has not been used properly is a problem in this study. Hotmix Recycling is a recycling technique that can be applied to road pavement rehabilitation and maintenance. The research was conducted to determine the cost-efficiency of recycled asphalt. The method used in this research is to analyze the unit price of conventional asphalt maintenance and to analyze the unit price of recycled asphalt in order to find out how much efficiency is obtained of asphalt pavement recycled. The results showed that the cost of conventional asphalt is Rp.1,160,000 per ton and the price of recycled asphalt is Rp.915,000 per ton, there is a savings of Rp. 245,000 per ton, The use of recycled asphalt technology in the periodic asphalt of the Ir. Wiyoto Wiyono toll roads can save operational and maintenance costs of Rp. 3,013,500,000.00

Abstract

Road infrastructure has an impact on the occurrence of road traffic accidents. The geometry of a road is a variable that influences the occurrence of road traffic accidents. Interpreting the observed crashes into an equation that can describe the crashes is one of the most difficult problems faced by scientists and engineers in any research. The traffic accident research conducted is still limited to analyzing the causes of accidents and jumping to handling strategies that do not reveal how much geometric influence on accidents at the location. This research was developed using a comprehensive modeling approach to illustrate how highway geometric design, in this case the alignment, influences crash rates. This study aims to analyze the influence of road geometrics on the incidence of accidents. The method used is multiple liner regression measurement model using R-Studio. The variables to be studied include road geometry planning parameters, especially horizontal alignments which include stopping sight distance (X1), radius of horizontal curve (X2), shoulder width X3, and transition curve length (X4). The results of the study obtained a relationship in the mathematical equation Y = 99.55508-0.02634X1+1.17647X2-0.06999X3-0.03906X4 with the most significant correlation value produced is the transition curve length and radius of horizontal curve. Based on the multiple R-squareed value of 0.8775 this model has a very strong correlation category. Where the ability of X1 to X4 is able to explain Y by 80%.
