Abstract

The general background shows the need for an educational approach that integrates Islamic values and sports activities to shape children's morals holistically. The specific background underscores the importance of this research at TPQ Al-Mu’minun, which teaches the Qur’an and integrates sports into its curriculum. The existing knowledge gap is the lack of in-depth understanding of the impact of integrating Islamic values in sports on children's behavior. The aim of this research is to analyze how this integration affects the morals of children at TPQ Al-Mu’minun. The results show that sports activities such as archery and martial arts enhance children's discipline, responsibility, and ability to manage emotions. The novelty of this research lies in the holistic approach that combines physical and moral aspects in children's education. The implications of these findings indicate that character education that integrates Islamic values and sports can provide significant benefits in shaping positive morals in children, which in turn strengthens their self-confidence, respectful attitudes, and obedience in daily life. Highlights: The integration of Islamic values in sports contributes to the positive development of children's morals. Abstract

Technological developments in the field of education pose challenges for teachers and school leaders. Rapid adaptation to change and increased professionalism and commitment are the keys to the success of education. Digital academic supervision emerged as a solution to overcome the weaknesses of conventional supervisors, that are often time-controlled and effective. This article aims to study the implementation of the use of digital technology in education supervision as well as identify opportunities and challenges. The study uses the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) to examine the implementation of digital technology in the supervision of education by analyzing 12 articles published between 2020-2023. The results show that digital supervisors can facilitate supervisory implementation and effectively improve teacher competence. The challenges faced by digital supervision include limited internet access, minimal technology mastery by senior teachers, and the need for adequate support. Implementation of digital academic supervision is an important step towards improving the professionalism of teachers and the quality of education as a whole, on the condition of adequate training, improved access to technology, and support from all stakeholders.

Abstract

This research aims to investigate the impact of online media usage on teacher satisfaction in the context of education influenced by the COVID-19 pandemic. The pandemic has forced the education sector to transition from face-to-face interactions to the predominant use of online systems in the teaching and learning process at all levels of education. Google Classroom emerged as the primary choice for online learning media among respondents during the pandemic. The research employed a descriptive quantitative method using Partial Least Squares (PLS) for data analysis, including validity tests, reliability tests, multiple linear regression analysis, and t-tests. The research results indicate a positive correlation between the use of online media and learning motivation with teacher satisfaction. As the quality of online media usage by teachers increases, so does their satisfaction. The conclusion of this study supports the hypothesis that the adoption of online media in the learning process significantly contributes to teacher satisfaction. This research provides valuable insights in the context of education influenced by the pandemic, highlighting the importance of effective choices in online learning media and understanding their impact on teacher satisfaction. Keywords associated with this research include pandemic impact, online education, teacher satisfaction, students, and learning motivation.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the effectiveness of an innovative microteaching model in enhancing the TPACK (Technological, Pedagogical, and Content Knowledge) competence of prospective teachers of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) at Muhammadiyah University Sidoarjo. Despite the crucial role of technology in contemporary education, MI prospective teachers often encounter challenges integrating TPACK into their teaching practices. Therefore, an innovative microteaching model is adopted as an approach to address these obstacles. The research employs a qualitative approach with a case study design, collecting data through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results reveal that MI prospective teachers face obstacles such as limited knowledge of technology and difficulties in designing effective technology-integrated lessons. The innovative microteaching model, involving steps like identifying TPACK needs, instructional design, microteaching implementation, and reflection, proves effective in enhancing TPACK competence. MI prospective teachers experience improvements in knowledge, the development of skills in designing technology-integrated lessons, and enhanced teaching abilities. Practical recommendations from this research emphasize the integration of the innovative microteaching model into the curriculum and training programs for MI prospective teachers. The importance of technological infrastructure development in MI is also underscored. With the implementation of this model, it is expected that MI prospective teachers can enhance their TPACK competence and provide quality learning experiences to MI students in the digital era. This research contributes significantly to the development of MI education with a focus on the use of technology in learning.
