Abstract

The aim of the research is to develop e-books based on PjBL model instructional design integrated with scientific literacy to improve students' critical thinking skills. To find out the feasibility validation test of e-books based on the instructional design of the PjBL model integrated with scientific literacy. To find out the E-book Effectiveness test on Critical Thinking Ability. The method to be used in this research is to use the research and development (R&D) method. The research stages are determining the material, preliminary research, analysis, design creation, material creation, initial product development, valid, feasibility test, valid, practicality test. The research data is in the form of feasibility test data by validators and the effectiveness of E-books. In critical thinking skills, the research results show that the feasibility test obtained from validation by material experts and biology teachers is reviewed based on presentation, content and language components obtained an average value of due diligence of 92.50% which is in the category very feasible to use. Meanwhile, the results of the N-gain test on the level of students' thinking abilities after using this e-book obtained a score of 0.80% in the good category in improving critical thinking abilities

Abstract

Udang adalah salah satu komoditas perikanan yang sangat populer di Indonesia bahkan diluar negeri. Bagi masyarakat udang hanya bisa dikonsumsi dagingnya saja sedangkan limbahnya dibuang begitu saja. Salah satu pemanfaatan limbah udang adalah diolah sebagai flavor dalam bentuk bubuk sehingga dapat dikonsumsi masyarakat sebagai pengganti MSG. Tujuan dilakukan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui proses pengeringan dan untuk mengetahui uji organoleptik pada pembuatan penyedap rasa alami dari limbah udang. Metode penelitian menggunakan metode uji organoleptik ( sensorik) dengan perbandingan tiga variabel yaitu A1 (pengeringan dengan cara disanggrai), A2 (pengeringan dengan cara dioven), A3 (Pengeringan dengan cara dijemur dibawah sinar matahari). Jenis penelitian yang digunakan yaitu deskriptif kualitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh warga dan warung di desa Seunebok Teungeh PP, sampel yang diambil hanya 20 panelis tak terlatih. Bahan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah limbah udang 300 gram, bawah putih, dan garam secukupnya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa metode pengeringan secara sangrai, oven, dan sinar matahari memberikan pengaruh terhadap warna, rasa, dan aroma. hasil uji organoleptik dari setiap aspek yang diamati meliputi warna, rasa, roma, dan daya terima menunjukkan bahwa nilai tertinggi didapat oleh jenis pengeringan A3 (sinar matahari) dengan nilai rata-rata warna (3,50), rasa (3,55), aroma (3,70), dan daya terima (3,55). Saran pada penelitian ini yaitu bagi peneliti selanjutnya dapat melakukan penelitian lebih lanjut terhadap penyedap rasa alami dari limbah udang.

Abstract

Langsa City is a city located in the province of Nangroe Aceh Darussalam with an area of 262.41 km2 with a population of 165,890 people. Meurandeh Village is one of the villages located in Langsa city, precisely in Langsa Lama. Meurandeh is one of the places that produces plants from the Tradescantia genus. This research aims to identify and differentiate the stomata of three types of plants from the Tradescantia genus. The method used in this research is a qualitative method with observational data collection techniques. The results of this research show that the three types of plants from the Tradescantia genus have three neighboring cells and a tetracytic type of stomata. Of these three types of plants, there are differences in the shape and structure of the stomata.

Abstract

Digital skill merupakan pondasi dari literasi digital. Mitra masyarakat pada PKM ini adalah guru-guru KKG Gugus IV Cut Meutia Kota Langsa. Hasil observasi awal menunjukkan bahwa guru-guru masih menggunakan penilaian konvensional karena digital skill guru masih tergolong rendah. Di sekolah mitra telah mempunyai fasilitas lengkap seperti chrome book namun belum dimanfaatkan secara optimal. Dengan demikian, dilakukan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat untuk membantu guru-guru memanfaatkan dan berinovasi pada instrumen penilaian digital. Kegiatan ini dilakukan selama dua minggu yang dimulai hari Selasa tanggal 1 Agustus 2023 sampai dengan hari Senin tanggal 14 Agustus 2023. Rincian kegiatan yang dilakukan, yaitu: sosialisasi, bimbingan teknis, pelatihan, dan pendampingan inovasi instrumen penilaian digital. Dari kegiatan ini dihasilkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan digital skill guru-guru KKG Gugus IV Cut Meutia Kota Langsa setelah menerima materi pelatihan terkait inovasi instrumen penilaian digital yang disampaikan oleh narasumber. Peningkatan terlihat dari persentase rerata skor pretes menggunakan baamboozle sebesar 69,79%, dan persentase rerata skor postes menggunakan kahoot! sebesar 86,81%. Selain itu, guru-guru juga terbukti inovatif dalam menghasilkan instrumen penilaian digital menggunakan liveworksheets yang akan diimplementasikan di sekolahnya masing-masing sebagai tindak lanjut dari kegiatan PKM. Dari temuan disampaikan rekomendasi dan saran kepada guru-guru untuk meningkatkan digital skill dalam menghadapi era digitalisasi, salah satunya dengan berinovasi pada instrumen penilaian digital menggunakan platform seperti baamboozle, kahoot!, dan liveworksheets.Digital skill is the foundation of digital literacy. The community partners in this community service activity were KKG Cluster IV Cut Meutia teachers in Langsa City. The preliminary observations show that teachers still use conventional assessment because their digital skills are still relatively low. Partner schools already have complete facilities such as chrome books but have not been used optimally. This activity is carried out to help teachers use and innovate digital assessment instruments. This activity was carried out for two weeks, starting from Tuesday, 1 August 2023, to Monday, 14 August 2023. The details of the activities are socialization, technical guidance, training, and assistance with digital assessment instrument innovation. The activities resulted in an increase in the digital skills of KKG Cluster IV Cut Meutia teachers in Langsa City after receiving training materials related to digital assessment instrument innovations delivered by resource persons. The increase can be seen from the average percentage of pre-test scores using Baamboozle of 69.79% and post-test scores using Kahoot! of 86.81%. In addition, teachers have also proven to be innovative in producing digital assessment instruments using live worksheets, which will be implemented in their respective schools as a follow-up to PKM activities. From the PKM findings, recommendations and suggestions were made to teachers to improve their digital skills in facing the digitalization era, one of which is by digital assessment instrument innovations using platforms such as bamboozle, Kahoot! and live worksheets.

Abstract

Pakcoy is a variety of mustard greens whose leaves are used as a vegetable. Pakcoy mustard greens are also often called spoon mustard greens because their shape resembles a spoon. The aim of this research was to determine which factors and chemical combinations had the greatest influence on the growth of pak choy (Brassica rapa subsp. chinensis) plants. Experimental methodology was used in this research's quantitative approach. There were 24 samples used in this research experiment, which included 6 treatments and 4 replications. Statistical analysis of variance (ANOVA) test was used in data analysis for this study. The hypothesis testing process then continues using data from the prerequisite tests, namely ordinariness test and homogeneity test. The results showed that tofu dregs and manure had no effect on the total fresh weight of harvested plants, but did affect plant height and number of leaves at 2 WAP and 6 WAP observations.including the addition of soil and manure, has the best composition for growth in plant height and wet weight of the entire crop.The combination of soil, tofu dregs and manure is a good treatment for increasing the number of leaves.The plant height parameter observed at 2 WAP and 4 WAP in treatments P3 and P1 was the as it were parameter that was altogether diverse between each treatment, based on the findings of the BNT test.
