Abstract

This study examines the influence of digital competence on employee performance through the mediating roles of self-efficacy and job satisfaction at the Tangerang City Regional Revenue Agency. Employing a quantitative research design with a saturated sampling technique involving eighty one employees, the data were analyzed using partial least squares structural equation modeling. The empirical results demonstrate that digital competence exerts a positive and significant direct effect on employee performance, self-efficacy, and job satisfaction. Furthermore, both self-efficacy and job satisfaction act as significant partial mediators in the relationship between digital competence and employee performance. These findings contribute to human resource management theory by highlighting cognitive and affective pathways in digital workplace transformation, while providing practical insights for public sector organizations seeking to optimize administrative efficiency and service delivery quality through targeted capability building and supportive work environments.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of work-life balance and perceived organizational support on employee performance, with job satisfaction serving as an intervening variable at PT Primaplast Indonesia. This study employed a quantitative approach using a survey method. The population consisted of 81 employees of PT Primaplast Indonesia, and a saturated sampling technique was applied, allowing all population members to participate as respondents. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using SmartPLS-based Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The findings indicate that work-life balance and perceived organizational support have a positive and significant effect on both employee performance and job satisfaction. Job satisfaction also has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Furthermore, job satisfaction positively and significantly mediates the relationship between work-life balance and employee performance, as well as the relationship between perceived organizational support and employee performance.

Abstract

Abstract

This study examines the relationship between competence, education level, and service employee performance at DPMPTSP Serang City. A quantitative approach was applied involving 87 employees selected through a saturated sampling technique. Data were collected using questionnaires and analyzed through Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) using SmartPLS. Competence in this study includes training, work experience, knowledge, communication, and work environment as important aspects supporting employees’ ability to perform service-related tasks. Education level was examined as a moderating variable to determine whether it strengthens the relationship between competence and service employee performance. The findings indicate that competence has a positive and significant effect on service employee performance. Meanwhile, education level positively moderates the relationship between competence and service employee performance, although the moderating effect is not statistically significant. These findings emphasize the importance of continuous competence development to support and improve service employee performance and the quality of public services.
