Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of promotional strategies through social media service quality and word of mouth on the decision to buy oppo cellphones in medan city. This research uses quantitative descriptive research methods. Data analysis techniques use classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression analysis, f tests, t tests and coefficients of determination. The population used was taken from OPPO HP users in the city of Medan, while the sample used was taken from the formula of Hairs et al, namely the sample size specified was 21 x 5, which is 105, then the sample used was 105. The results showed that partially the promotion strategy through social media service quality and word of mouth influenced simultaneous purchasing decisions that promotion strategies through social media, service quality and word of mouth influenced purchasing decisions. The magnitude of the coefficient of determination of 0.539 means that the ability of the promotion strategy variable through social media, service quality and word of mouth explains its effect on the purchase decision variable of 53.9%. While the remaining 46.1% are other free variables that were not studied in this study such as price, brand image, consumer satisfaction and others.

Abstract

Training is a process used to acquire skills, abilities and knowledge in structured ways to increase employee competency, so that training and competency are mutually sustainable. This research was conducted to review the General Banking Level 1 Training on Internship Student Competencies at the Merdeka Campus of PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk., the sample used was 58 internship students, and in collecting data the researcher used qualitative research with descriptive methods. Research is carried out by describing experiences or studies in the field more specifically (field research), data collection techniques used are questionnaires, interviews and document collection. Then, in preparing the research, the data that has been obtained is collected and implemented with a coherent and detailed explanation to find out the problem and find an explanation for the problem. PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk. is one of the state-owned banks that provides a forum with the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research & Technology for students to be able to study outside their original study program through the Independent Campus Program. The implementation of the Debriefing Training has been carried out well, judging from the results of the competency certification test, but there are still some training participants who did not pass the competency test, so it is necessary to find out again what needs to be improved.

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh pelatihan dan motivasi terhadap kinerja Aparatur Sipil Negara (ASN) dengan kompetensi sebagai variabel mediasi di Kantor Camat Patumbak Kabupaten Deli Serdang. Fenomena yang melatarbelakangi penelitian ini adalah masih adanya kesenjangan kinerja ASN, meskipun telah dilakukan berbagai program pelatihan dan pembinaan. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan pendekatan asosiatif. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner dan dianalisis menggunakan metode Structural Equation Modeling Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS). Hasil penelitian diharapkan menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan dan motivasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kompetensi dan kinerja ASN. Selain itu, kompetensi berperan sebagai variabel mediasi dalam hubungan antara pelatihan dan motivasi terhadap kinerja ASN. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi teoretis terhadap pengembangan manajemen sumber daya manusia di sektor publik, serta manfaat praktis bagi Pemerintah Kecamatan Patumbak dalam merancang strategi peningkatan kinerja ASN melalui pelatihan, motivasi, dan penguatan kompetensi
