Abstract

This research is initiated by an interesting fact that there are still many labor strikes and rallies in Indonesia. The purpose of this study is to determine: the influence of normative demands and solidarity together on job dissatisfaction of workers. This research is intended as explanatory research. Sampling method used in this research is accidental sampling. The sample consists of 100 workers/laborers who joined rallies on May 1, 2014. The results show on the indicator the amount of City Minimum Wage Rates in normative demands variable, respondents believe the amount of wages earned are still not in accordance with the provisions of the minimum wage set by the government. Participation of workers in the fight for economic security must be done in various ways including demonstrations, based on solidarity between workers in order to put pressure on policy makers with regard to labor issues. In conclusion, good normative demands in accordance with the provisions of the agreement and the strong solidarity between workers will reduce dissatisfaction. Suggestions are made on normative demands variable; review should be made on the amount of the city minimum wage rates; leave entitlements, workers social security and dismissal policies should be in compliance with the current government policy.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh persepsi kemudahan, persepsi kemanfaatan terhadap minat penggunaan pada pengguna aplikasi Alodokter. Metode penelitian ini adalah survey dengan menyebarkan kuesioner kepada 100 responden yang menggunakan aplikasi Alodokter dan responden yang sudah mengikuti Instagram Alodokter. Metode analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik SPSS. Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa 1) persepsi kemudahan berpengaruh positif terhadap minat penggunaan aplikasi Alodokter, hal ini dibuktikan dari aplikasi Alodokter mempunyai fitur atau tampilan yang mudah digunakan oleh pengguna; dan 2) persepsi kemanfaatan berpengaruh positif terhadap minat penggunaan aplikasi Alodokter. Originality/Value/Contribution – Ketika masa pandemi Covid-19 semua orang sangat disiplin menjaga jarak secara fisik terhadap orang lain. Penelitan ini merupakan studi pertama yang membahas penggunaan aplikasi kesehatan di masa Pandemi Covid -19 di Indonesia. Hasil penelitian ini dapat menjadi masukan bagi semua pihak untuk memperkenalkan aplikasi ini kepada masyarakat luas agar masyarakat semakin memahami bahwa aplikasi kesehatan nomor satu di Indonesia ini sangat mudah dan bermanfaat ketika digunakan.

Abstract

Perkembangan industri pariwisata di sejumlah daerah semakin meningkat, khususnya di Provinsi Jawa Tengah. Desa Wisata Sepakung, Banyubiru merupakan salah satu obyek wisata yang memiliki potensi wisata cukup tinggi yang menawarkan keindahan alamnya. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh ketidaksesuaian angka kunjungan dengan yang diharapkan oleh pihak Desa Wisata Sepakung. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 100 pengguna Desa Wisata Sepakung yang dipilih secara purposive sampling. Penelitian ini menggunakan  pendekatan explanatory research dengan menggunakan skala Likert sebagai alat pengukuran. Data dianalisis menggunakan berbagai uji statistik melalui program SPSS versi 26.0  Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis kuantitatif yang meliputi analisis tabulasi silang, uji koefisien korelasi, analisis regresi sederhana dan berganda, uji koefisien determinasi, uji t dan uji f.  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa digital marketing dan electronic word of mouth berpengaruh positif terhadap Keputusan Berkunjung. Dalam konteks Desa Wisata Sepakung, peningkatan kualitas digital marketing dan electronic word of mouth akan berdampak positif pada peningkatan Keputusan Berkunjung. Rekomendasi yang dapat diberikan untuk Desa Wisata Sepakung adalah meningkatkan penggunaan media sosial sebagai sarana pemasaran yang efektif.The development of the tourism industry in several regions, especially in the Central Java Province, is increasing. Sepakung Tourism Village in Banyubiru is one of the tourist attractions that has significant tourism potential, offering its natural beauty. This research is motivated by the disparity between the actual number of visitors and the expected number by the Sepakung Tourism Village. The research sample consists of 100 users of Sepakung Tourism Village selected through purposive sampling. This study employs an explanatory research approach and utilizes the Likert scale as a measurement tool. The data is analyzed using various statistical tests through SPSS version 26.0 software. The data analysis techniques include cross-tabulation analysis, correlation coefficient test, simple and multiple regression analysis, determination coefficient test, t-test, and f-test. The research findings indicate that digital marketing and electronic word of mouth have a positive influence on the Decision to Visit. In the context of Sepakung Tourism Village, improving the quality of digital marketing and electronic word of mouth will have a positive impact on increasing the Decision to Visit. Recommendations that can be given to Sepakung Tourism Village include enhancing the use of social media as an effective marketing tool.

Abstract

PT. Tempo Scan Asia Pacific merupakan perusahaan yang menaungi merek Marina. Hingga saat ini Marina masih berada dalam Top Three berdasarkan penilaian Top Brand Index meskipun banyak pesaing baru muncul di pasar. Meski begitu, Marina memiliki keluhan negatif pada produknya yang membuat konsumen merasa tidak puas. Brand attitude dan kualitas produk diduga dapat mempengaruhi kepuasan konsumen yang akan menciptakan loyalitas pada merek tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh brand attitude dan kualitas produk terhadap brand loyalty pada produk hand and body lotion Marina melalui kepuasan konsumen dengan subjek penelitian mahasiswa Fakultas Ilmu Sosial dan Ilmu Politik Universitas Diponegoro. Tipe penelitian ini adalah explanatory research dengan jumlah responden sebanyak 100 mahasiswa menggunakan teknik nonprobability sampling dan dengan teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner dan studi pustaka. Metode analisis data pada penelitian ini antara lain : uji korelasi, analisis regresi linier sederhana dan berganda, uji determinasi, uji signifikansi (uji t dan uji F), dan uji sobel. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya pengaruh positif dan signifikan pada brand attitude dan kualitas produk terhadap brand loyalty. Selain itu, kepuasan konsumen mampu memediasi pengaruh brand attitude dan kualitas produk terhadap brand loyalty. Tempo Scan Asia Pacific Ltd. is the company that owns the Marina brand. Marina remains in the Top Three according to the Top Brand Index despite the fact that numerous new competitors have entered the market. Nonetheless, Marina receives negative feedback from customers who are dissatisfied with their products. Brand attitude and product quality are assumed to influence consumer satisfication, resulting in brand loyalty. This study aims to determine the effect of brand attitude and product quality on brand loyalty in Marina hand and body lotion products through consumer satisfication. The subject in this study is students from the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Diponegoro University. The type of this study is explanatory research with 100 students as respondents. This study is using non- probability sampling techniques. Data collection techniques used in this study were questionnaires and literature study. Data was analyzed using the SPSS For Windows 21.0 program utilizing the correlation test, simple and multiple linear regression analysis, determination test, significance test (t test and F test), and Sobel test. The results of this study indicate that there is a positive and significant influence on brand attitude and product quality on brand loyalty. In addition, consumer satisfication is able to mediate the effect of brand attitude and product quality on brand loyalty.

Abstract

Indonesia is one of the fourth largest producers and exporters of coffee beans in the world. Coffee can be used to promote Indonesian culture abroad as well as to increase the potential of coffee in supporting the nation's economy. This approach is called Coffee Diplomacy, which is a gastrodiplomacy approach by utilizing coffee in the form of beverage dishes. Coffee diplomacy is a new tool for Indonesian soft power diplomacy to strengthen Indonesia's bilateral and multilateral relations with other countries, carried out by not limited state actor, but also non-state actors including individuals. This shows the ability of Indonesian coffee as an instrument of cultural and economic diplomacy. The culture of coffee beverages in various regions in Indonesia is closely related to the culture of tolerance in Indonesian society. In the context of international relations, Indonesian coffee diplomacy is a nation branding effort aimed at building a positive image of Indonesian culture, while creating opportunities for economic cooperation to improve the welfare of the Indonesian people.

Abstract

This study examines women's political representation as election supervisors, the rules regarding women's representation in accordance with the regulations of Law Number 7 of 2017 concerning General Elections have not been able to run well. This study uses qualitative research by making observations in the recruitment process of the Election Supervisory Board of the Republic of Indonesia and the affirmation quota of women as election supervisors in Election Supervisory Board, Yogyakarta Special Region Province. This study aims to see the application of regulations on the general election law on women's representation and its application in the recruitment process of election supervisors that accommodate women's representation. This finding shows that there is still a gap in women's representation in election supervisory institutions where the rules regarding 30 percent female representation have been very clearly regulated. Evaluation of these findings requires a policy of changing regulations that regulate sanctions for non-fulfillment of women's representation as one of the solutions to fulfill women's gender kouta as female supervisors. The conclusion of this study is that there are several factors that hinder the fulfillment of women's political rights such as, a wrong understanding of political gender, the risk of becoming a very large election supervisor, socialization of selection that is not right on target and the competence of prospective candidates who lack knowledge about elections.

Abstract

The enactment of Regional Regulation No. 1 of 2014 concerning the Handling of Vagrants and Beggars, which has an impact on the waria (transgender) community of Yogyakarta. Most work as buskers and (art workers) reject the existence of Gepeng Regional Regulation. This rejection was based on the fact that the waria community refused to be categorized as vagrants and beggars. Research using qualitative with case studies. This research focuses on the strategy of the Yogyakarta transgender political movement by forming an advocacy coalition in response to the implementation of the Gepeng Regional Regulation which is considered to have an impact on the waria community working on the streets. The results of this study found that carrying out resistance or rejection actions was carried out in two ways. First, build a network of advocacy coalitions between communities. Second, Strategy through the media. The enactment of Perda Gepeng gave rise to two advocacy coalitions, namely the IWAYO, advocacy coalition which was formed as a result of the consolidation of several waria communities in Yogyakarta and the Gepeng Regional Caucus Coalition consisting of various organizations, NGOs and various communities that support the struggle in rejecting the Gepeng Regional Regulation by trying to influence government decisions that are considered damaging democratic values and harming the poor.

Abstract

This study aims to delve into the prevalence of single candidates participating in regional elections across various regions following the Constitutional Court Decision Number 100/PUU-XIII/2015. It explores how political party elites and oligarchs strategically maneuver to either maintain or acquire power. Specifically focusing on Boyolali Regency, this research employs a qualitative descriptive approach to uncover the underlying causes behind the emergence of a single candidate. The findings reveal the significant influence of hegemonic forces wielded by major political parties over smaller ones, orchestrated by oligarchs. Importantly, the study highlights that this hegemonic dominance is not driven by factors such as religious majority affiliations with political parties but rather emerges as a purely oligarchic endeavor aimed at controlling both the nomination process and victory outcomes of single candidates.

Abstract

Abstract: The business of skin care and cosmetic products is growing increasingly competitive and complex. This research was conducted at Naavagreen Natural Skin Care Banyumanik Semarang. Sales data in 2020-2022 shows a decrease in sales growth, non-achievement of sales targets for the last four years, and the occurrence of sales fluctuations every year is a suspicion of a decrease in perceived value and service quality which results in these problems. This type of research is explanatory research using nonprobability sampling techniques with accidental sampling and purposive sampling methods and a sample of 97 respondents. The data was processed using SPSS version 21 which was used to analyze the classical assumption test, validity test, reliability, correlation coefficient, coefficient of determination, simple linear regression, multiple linear regression, t test, and F test. The results showed that perceived value and service quality had a significant and positive effect on purchasing decisions partially.  As for simultaneously, it shows that perceived value and service quality have an effect on purchasing decisions. The suggestion of this study is to conduct several evaluations regarding the perception of product value and service quality at Naavagareen Natural Skin Care Banyumanik Semarang so that product purchasing decisions can be improved.Keywords: perceived value; service quality; purchasing decisionsAbstraksi: Bisnis perawatan kulit dan produk kosmetik berkembang semakin kompetitif dan kompleks. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Naavagreen Natural Skin Care Banyumanik Semarang. Data penjualan pada 2020-2022 menunjukkan penurunan pertumbuhan penjualan, tidak tercapainya target penjualan selama empat tahun terakhir, serta terjadinya fluktuasi penjualan setiap tahunnya menjadi dugaan penurunan persepsi nilai dan kualitas pelayanan yang mengakibatkan permasalahan-permasalahan tersebut. Tipe penelitian ini adalah explanatory research menggunakan teknik nonprobability sampling dengan metode accidental sampling dan purposive sampling serta sampel berjumlah 97 responden. Data diolah menggunakan SPSS versi 21 yang digunakan untuk analisis uji asumsi klasik, uji validitas, reliabilitas, koefisien korelasi, koefisien determinasi, regresi linier sederhana, regresi linier berganda, uji t, dan uji F. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa persepsi nilai dan kualitas pelayanan berpengaruh secara signifikan dan positif terhadap keputusan pembelian secara parsial.  Adapun secara simultan, menunjukkan persepsi nilai dan kualitas pelayanan berpengaruh terhadap keputusan pembelian. Saran dari penelitian ini adalah untuk melakukan beberapa evaluasi mengenai persepsi nilai produk serta kualitas pelayanan pada Naavagareen Natural Skin Care Banyumanik Semarang sehingga keputusan pembelian produk dapat ditingkatkan.Kata Kunci: persepsi nilai; kualitas pelayanan; keputusan pembelian

Abstract

This study aims to discover the favorite casual games in adults, both gamers and not. Respondents ranged in age from 17 to 56.This study fills the research gap about the taste of casual gaming in the city of Semarang, because so far researchers have often found many studies on the types of games that fall into the category of ‘heavy games’ and tend to be played by game addicts who dedicate time and money to playing games or e-sports athletes. This research gives us information about the types of casual games that are most liked by adult game players in the city of Semarang. Meanwhile, the casual game category is ignored because it is only played by players who are not serious and just to pass the time. In addition, it also provides information on the extent to which casual players are willing to play the type of games that they think are worth playing, including the criteria for games to be installed to try to play. Inside their smartphones are installed Android-based game applications that are played. Conducted in Semarang, the sampling technique used was convenience sampling with 170 people. The data will be analyzed with quantitative descriptive methods to describe the condition of the sample. The findings showed that respondents liked games that were lightweight, uncomplicated, and required high concentration. Games that can be played in the past and tend to be dexterous.
