Abstract

This research aims to determine the use of learning media and constructivism learning theory during the learning activities. This research uses descriptive qualitative research metods and case study approach. Sources of data in this study was fifth grade teachers and fifth grade students of SDN Tunggulsari II Surakarta. The data collection technique was done by observing, interviewing and studying documents. The data were analyzed using the data analysis model of Miles and Huberman.The result of this study indicate that during online learning activities the teachers continues to use learning media to help provide teaching materials. The media used by the teachers was simplified and adapted due to the condition and facilities that student have. Constructivism learning theory during the learning includes the appearance of student looking for, exploring, and discovering new knowledge by themselves.The series of learning activites during the online learning implemented by the teacher was accordance with  2013 curiculum learning. The learning process that carried out by the teachers also reflects to tematic learning. The result of this study can also be used to increase teacher insight of the use of media during online learning and constructivism learning theory can be applied during learning to make student more active.

Abstract

The reserach aims to: (1) describe the implementation of the School Literacy Program and (2) describe the efforts of the school to support the implementation of School Literacy Program. This research uses a qualitative approach with case study methods. The research subjects involved were fourth grade students of Bumi 1 Elementary School, Surakarta. Research data collection techniques using observation and interviews. The validity of research data uses triangulation techniques. Data were analyzed using an interactive model, consisting of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that the implementation of School Literacy Program at Bumi 1 Elementary School had been scheduled on a Monday to Friday basis for approximately 30 minutes every day. The implementation of School Literacy Program includes reading literacy, numeracy literacy, cultural literacy, and religious literacy. The conclusions of this research are: (1) the implementation of the School Literacy Program program in Bumi 1 Elementary School has been running on a routine daily schedule; (2) The efforts of the school in implementing School Literacy Program involve the efforts of principals and teachers to increase student interest and activity in School Literacy Program.

Abstract

This study aims to 1) knowing the effect of the implementation school literacy program on the narrative writing skills of fourth-grade elementary school students; 2) knowing the effect of the reading interest on the narrative writing skills of fourth-grade elementary school students; 3) knowing the effect of the implementation school literacy program and the reading interest together on the narrative writing skills of fourth-grade elementary school students. This is quantitative research using a correlational method. The population in this study is all fourth-grade students of state elementary schools in the sub-district of Boyolali in the academic year 2021/2022. The research sample is fourth-grade students from three elementary schools who had been selected using the cluster random sampling technique.  The  results of data analysis, it can be concluded that 1) there is a positive and significant influence from the implementation of the school literacy movement program on student narrative writing skills by 45.1%; 2) there is a positive and significant influence of reading interest in student narrative writing skills by 2 2.6%; 3)  there is a positive and significant influence from the implementation of the school literacy program and interest in reading together on students' narrative writing skills by 67,7%.

Abstract

This study aimed to describe the steps of using audiovisual media in thematic learning, the factors that influence the use of audiovisual media in thematic learning, and the effectiveness of thematic learning through audiovisual media. This method used a descriptive qualitative research method through a case study approach. Data collection techniques used are interviews, checklists, questionnaires and documentation studies. The research subjects were directors, teachers and students. Test the validity of the data using triangulation techniques, sources and time. The data analysis of this research used the Miles and Huberman interactive analysis technique, which consisted of data reduction, data presentation, and verification/inference. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of audiovisual media in learning 2nd theme "Menyayangi tumbuhan dan hewan" of 3rd grade of SD Ta'mirul Islam Surakarta is according to the steps in using audiovisual media. The factors that affect the use of audiovisual media in learning are divided into two. The use of audiovisual media makes learning more effective because the learning process attracts students' attention, achieves learning objectives and increases student learning success.

Abstract

This research is entitled the implementation of religious character education and environmental care in sixth grade students of Integrated Elementary School Ma’arif Gunungpring Magelang for the 2022/2023 academic year. The aims of this study are to describe the forms and results, supporting and inhibiting factors, and solutions to overcome obstacles in the implementation of religious character education and environmental care in the sixth grade of Integrated Elementary School Ma'arif Gunungpring. This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach. Data collection techniques use observation, interviews, documentation, and questionnaires. The results of this study show that the value of religious character and environmental care was developed through routine activities, spontaneity, conditioning, exemplary, integration in Lesson Plan and learning, as well as through school culture. The conclusion of this research is the spiritual attitude and environmental care of sixth grade students in the category of already entrenched.

Abstract

The aims of the study were to find errors in the use of Indonesian spelling that occurred in the descriptive essays of fourth grade elementary school students, to describe the factors causing errors in the use of Indonesian spelling that occurred in students' descriptive essays, and to describe the teacher's efforts to overcome errors in the use of Indonesian spelling that occurred. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method with a case study approach. Data obtained from observation, interviews, and document studies. Errors in writing words are the most common category of errors found and errors in writing absorption elements are the fewest errors made by students. The cause of the error is the lack of students' understanding of the use of spelling. Teachers also have not used strategies or media to support learning to write in their classes. The teacher's effort to overcome these problems is by holding regular composing activities so that students often do writing activities. The teacher also gives direct directions to students when they find errors in students' writing.

Abstract

Permainan tradisional Nusantara kaya akan nilai budaya dan edukasi, namun kurang optimal dalam pemanfaatannya sebagai media pembelajaran di sekolah dasar. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu mengkaji strategi optimalisasi permainan tradisional Nusantara bagi guru SD di Indonesia. Artikel ini merupakan kajian literatur terkait permainan tradisional Nusantara dan pembelajaran di sekolah dasar. Metode penelitian ini yaitu kajian literatur dengan mencari referensi teori yang relevan dengan kasus atau permasalahan yang ditemukan. Hasil kajian literatur ditemukan berbagai strategi optimalisasi permainan tradisional Nusantara, antara lain integrasi dengan materi pelajaran, modifikasi aturan dan permainan, pemanfaatan media pembelajaran, dan penyelenggaraan festival permainan tradisional. Implementasi strategi tersebut menunjukkan hasil positif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan motorik kasar dan halus, kerjasama tim dan komunikasi, dan pengetahuan budaya dan nilai-nilai luhur. Kesimpulan hasil kajian literatur yaitu optimalisasi permainan tradisional nusantara dapat menjadi solusi efektif untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran di sekolah dasar di Indonesia.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan membaca siswa kelas 1 SD Negeri Tunggulsari 01 Surakarta menggunakan metode eja dengan media MEJA (eja aku). Dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, setiap siklus terdiri dari empat tahap: 1) perencanaan tindakan, 2) pelaksanaan tindakan, 3) observasi, dan 4) evaluasi atau refleksi. Hasil penelitian diukur berdasarkan tes keterampilan membaca siswa, dengan data dari siklus I dianalisis dan dievaluasi untuk perbaikan siklus II. Hasil dari siklus II dibandingkan dengan kondisi awal untuk menilai kemajuan. Ketuntasan klasikal pada kondisi awal adalah 31%, meningkat menjadi 72,15% pada siklus I, dan mencapai 90,53% pada siklus II. Rata-rata keterampilan membaca awal adalah 58,15, dengan batas tuntas 75. Kesimpulannya, keterampilan membaca siswa menunjukkan peningkatan yang signifikan dari kondisi awal hingga siklus II pada tahun pelajaran 2024-2025.

Abstract

Pemahaman konsep adalah suatu cara yang sistematis dalam memahami dan mengemukakan tentang sesuatu yang diperolehnya. Berdasarkan hasil temuan pada observasi awal diperoleh nilai rata rata IPAS  54,54 dari KKM 70. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pemahaman konsep IPASS kelas 5 melalui model Problem Based Learning dan Media Diorama SD Muhammadiyah 5 Ska. Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK), yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, dengan masing masing dua pertemuan pada setiap siklusnya. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara, tes, studi dokumen, catatan lapangan. Uji validitas data penelitian ini menggunakan Triangulasi teknik, dan Triangulasi data. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis ktitis dan analisis statistic deskriptif. Hasil penelitian memnunjukan bahwa melalui model Problem Based Learning dan media Diorama dapat meningkatkan kemampuan pemahaman konsep IPASS peserta didik kelas 5. Hal ini dibuktikan pada siklus 1 penilaian kognitif mendapatkan nilai tingkat ketuntasan 63,63 sedangkan siklus 2 mendapatkan nilai tingkat ketuntasan 81,81. Hasil Observasi Aktivitas Peserta Didik pada siklus 1 memperoleh kategori baik skor 18,48, sedangkan pada siklus 2 memperoleh kategori sangat baik skor 20,27. Penilaian keterampilan guru pada siklus 1 mendapatkan skor 22, sedangkan pada siklus 2 mendapatkan skor 26.

Abstract

Penelitian tindakan kelas ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar operasi bilangan cacah melalui model pembelajaran Team Games Tournament (TGT) pada peserta didik kelas 4 SD N Cengklik. Penelitian menggunakan model Kemmis dan McTaggart yang dilaksanakan dalam tiga siklus dengan subjek 28 peserta didik. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui tes dan observasi, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan metode kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan nilai rata-rata dari 55,89 pada pra-siklus menjadi 65,36 pada siklus I, 89,83 pada siklus II, dan 91,96 pada siklus III. Ketuntasan klasikal juga meningkat dari 32,14% menjadi 42,86%, 67,86%, dan 92,86% secara berturut-turut. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa model TGT efektif meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik pada operasi bilangan cacah.
