Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of monetary variable shocks on the exchange rate and inflation in Indonesia. The variables used to represent monetary conditions are interest rates and the money supply. This study uses secondary data with the type of time series data. The data used in this study is sourced from Bank Indonesia in the form of monthly data from 2015 to 2020. The analytical method used is the Vector Error Correction Model (VECM). The results of this study indicate that in the short term only the money supply has a significant effect on the exchange rate in Indonesia, while interest rates and inflation have no significant effect on the exchange rate in Indonesia. In the long term, the money supply, interest rates, and inflation have a significant effect on the exchange rate in Indonesia. In the short term, only interest rates and exchange rates have a significant effect on inflation in Indonesia, while the money supply has no significant effect on inflation in Indonesia. In the long term, the money supply, interest rates and exchange rates have a significant effect on inflation in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study examined the causal relationship between fixed telephone subscriptions, mobile cellular subscriptions, fixed broadband subscriptions, internet users and economic growth using a panel vector autoregrassion model (PVAR) for ASEAN’s five founding countries in the period of 2001-2015. The results of this study showed that are there is no causality between Fixed Telephone subcription and economic growth, an  unidirectional relationship between mobile celluler subscriptions and economic growth where is that just economic growth gives influence to mobile cellular subscriptions, an unidirectional relationship between fixed broadband subscription and economic growth where is that just fixed broadband subscriptions gives influence to economic growth and an unidirectional relationship from economic growth to internet users where is that just economic growth gives influence to mobile cellular subscriptions.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the causality of Domestic Investment (PMDN), Foreign Investment (PMA), and Labor Absorption in Indonesia. This type of research is descriptive and associative research that is research that describes the research variables and find the presence or absence of causality between each of these variables. The type of data in this study are secondary data and panel data from 2013-2017 per Province in Indonesia. Analysis of the data used is descriptive analysis and inductive analysis. In inductive analysis there are several tests, namely: Analysis of Vector Auto Regression (VAR), Empirical Model Analysis of Vector Auto Regression (VAR), Steps of Analysis of Vector Auto Regression (VAR) such as: Root Unit Test (Panel Root Test), Coordination Test ( Panel Cointegration Test), Optimum Lag, Granger Causality Test, Stability Test, Implementation of Vector Auto Regression (VAR) Models. The results of this study indicate that (1) domestic investment and foreign investment are not qualified in Indonesia, (2) foreign investment and absorption of unsuspected workers in Indonesia, (3) domestic investment and absorption of qualified workers in Indonesia.

Abstract

This research  aims to determine (1) the effect of labor on social welfare in Indonesia, (2) the effect of goverment expenditure on social welfare in Indonesia, (3) the effect of road infrastruktur on social welfare in Indonesia, (4) the effect of labor, goverment expenditure, and road infrastruktur on social welfare in Indonesia. The method used in this study is Multiple Linear Regression. The research type is descriptive research while the data used is time series data from 1987-2016 obtained from documentation of Bank Indonesia, and BPS Indonesia. The results of this study indicate that (1) labor has a significant positive effect on social welfare in Indonesia (2) goverment expenditure has a significant positive effect on social welfare in Indonesia  (3) road infrastruktur has a significant positive effect on social welfare in Indonesia, (4) labor, goverment expenditure, and road infrastruktur has a significant positive effect on social welfare in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study examines the impact of economic growth, investment and human development index on the inequality of income distribution in Indonesiafrom 2007-2016. The results of the study using panel data regression showed that: 1) Economic growth has a negative and insignificant effect on the inequality of income distribution in Indonesia with a significant of 0.2926; (2) Investment has a positive and significant effect on the inequality of income distribution in Indonesia with a significant amount of 0.0000; (3) The Human Development Index has a positive and insignificant effect on the inequality of income distribution in Indonesia with a significant amount of 0.2260; Based on the results of the joint test of the effect of the independent variables on the dependent variable, the results obtained that together the variables of economic growth, investment and human development index have a significant effect on the inequality of income distribution in Indonesia by 10%.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to figure out (1) The Influence of investment to the growth economic in Indonesia (2) The Influence of the quantity of workforce, to the growth economic in Indonesia (3) The Influence of goverment expenditure to the growth economic in Indonesia (4) The Influence of education to the growth economic in Indonesia (5) The Influence of investment, the  workforce, goverment expenditure and education to the growth economic in Indonesia. This research uses panel data from 2010-2019, the method is multiple linear regression. the research shows The estimation multiple linear regression (OLS) with the Fixed Effect Model that shows: (1) investment  had an possetive significant influence  to the growth economic in Indonesia(2) the  workforce had an possetive significant influence  to the growth economic in Indonesia (3) goverment expenditure had an possetive significant influence  to the growth economic in Indonesia (4) education had a negative significant influence  to the growth economic in Indonesia. Based on this research the writer suggests to increase the quality of investment, the  workforce , goverment expenditure and education. The government should cooperate strongly with tne participant countries and take action to increase the productivity and the quality of the human sources also increase the investment that makes increase the growth economic in Indoneisa.

Abstract

This Study aims toi see (1) the effect of economic growth on poverty in Westi Sumatera (2) the effect ofi the human development index on poverty in West Sumatra1 (3) the effect ofi government policies on poverty in West Sumatra1. This type of research is descriptive and associative. The data used in thisii study is secondary data fromii West Sumatra in thei from ofi panel data fromi 2015 to 2019 and data obtained from thei Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of West Sumatra. This type of research is descriptive and associative. The data used in thisi study isi Indonesian secondary data in the formi of panel data fromi 2010 to 2019i and this data was obtained fromi the official institutions of thei Ministry of Finance and thei Central Statistics Agency. The method used is panel analysis of regression data which is processed using Eviews. The results showed that economic growth had a positive and significant effect on poverty in West Sumatra Regency/City with, the Human Development Index had a negative and significant effect on Poverty in West Sumatra Regency/City with a, Government Policy (BANSOS PIP) has a negative and insignificant effect on poverty in the Regency/City of West Sumatra.

Abstract

This study aims to find and analyze the effect of (1) Original Local Goverment Revenue, (2) General Allocation Fund, (3) Special Allocation Fund and (4) Revenue Sharing Fund on Economic Growth in North Sumatra Province by using a panel regression equation model. and using the Random Effect Model (REM) approach. The estimation results show that: (1) Original Local Government Revenue has a negative but insignificant effect on economic growth in north Sumatera Province, (2) General Allocation Fund have a positive and significant effect on economic growth in North Sumatera, (3) Special Allocation Fund have a positive effect but not significant to economic growth in North Sumatera Province, (4) Revenue Sharing Fund have a positive but insignificant effect on economic growth in Nort Sumatera Province, (5) Original Local Government Revenue, General Allocation Fund, Special Allocation Fund and Revenue Sharing Fund together have a significant effect on economic growth in North Sumatra Province. Based on the results of this study, local governments are expected to further optimize the use of Local Own Revenue and Balancing Funds, because they can have an influence on economic growth in North Sumatra Province.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of (1) infrastructure and human development index on economic growth in Indonesia, (2) human development index and corruption on community’s prosperity in Indonesia, (3) economic growth on the prosperity of the community in Indonesia by using the simultaneous equation method with the Indirect Least Square Model and panel data from 2014 to 2018. The estimates of this research show that (1) the infrastructure has no significant effect on economic groeth in Indonesia (2) the human development index has a positive significant effect on economic growth in Indonesia (3) the human development index has a positive significant effect on the prosperity of community in Indonesia (4) the corruption does not have a significant effect on the prosperity of community in Indonesia (5) the economic growth has a positive significant effect on the prosperity of community in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of population, GDP per capita and hotels on local tax revenues in districts / cities in West Sumatra. The data used are secondary data in the form of panel regression in 19 districts / cities in West Sumatra province. The source of this data is the West Sumatra Central Statistics Agency (BPS). The variables used in this study are population (X1), GDP per capita (X2) and hotels (X3). The methods used in this research are: (1) Panel Regression Model (2) Classical Assumption Test (3) t test (4) f test. The results of this study indicate that (1) total population has a negative and significant effect on local tax revenues in regencies / cities in West Sumatra. (2) PDRB Per capita has a positive and significant effect on local tax revenues in districts / cities in West Sumatra. (3) The number of hotels has a positive and significant effect on local tax revenues in districts / cities in West Sumatra.
