Abstract

Purpose: The banking industry is one of the service industries that contributes to national income and serves as an intermediary institution to accommodate public funds and channel them back to productive economic activities. This study will look into the factors that influence customers' intentions to use digital banking and utilize it to their advantages and future advancements. This research uses TAM (technology acceptance model) as framework to explain the intention to adopt digital banking phenomenon. In addition to TAM components of perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness, this research also put perceived risk, trust, and inconvenience into the TAM framework. Design/methodology/approach: This study using quantitative descriptive research design with conclusive research. This study use non-probability sampling with judgmental technique to 140 respondents that meet the research sampling criteria. IBM SPSS version 24 is used for multiple regression data processing and analysis. Findings: The findings show that perception ease of using, perceived usefulness, and perceived risk have no effect on intention to use digit banking. Furthermore, the findings confirm the positive influence of trust and convenience on the intention of using digital banking. Research limitations/implications: The study used Google Forms, which limited respondents' time to answer, and respondents' opinions may be prejudiced. This study's sample size reduced respondents' general representation, and the results were limited to one country. Future academics may add others variables that affect digital banking adoption into the framework. The researchers also recommend bigger sample sizes with a more diverse demographic profile of respondents. Practical implications: Digital banks might emphasize trust and convenience to attract new consumers. Delivering on promises will build trust in services. Digital bank providers can also emphasize their technology's convenience, which allows clients to do financial transactions anywhere and anytime. Originality/value: This study will serve as a reference for digital bank providers in promoting the usage of digital bank services in order to accelerate Indonesian digital bank adoption, which is still lagging behind that of other Asian countries. Paper type: Research paper

Abstract

According to data from the National Waste Management Information System 43.3% of the waste produced by the community comes from household waste. This figure makes households the largest source of waste generators. In South Tangerang city area, data from the South Tangerang Environmental Service shows that the waste generated by the people of South Tangerang city is 1000 tons every day. With the high volume of waste produced, household waste management has become an important thing to do so that waste is not just thrown away in the landfill. Serdang Wetan Village, which is one of the villages supported by Multimedia Nusantara University, currently does not have a waste bank, so the aim of the current Community Development Program is to establish a Waste Bank in Serdang Wetan Village. The program began with household waste management training to housewives in Serdang Wetan Village, then continued to form a WhatsApp group as a medium of information and communication. Every 2 weeks, the residents bring their clean household waste to the waste bank. This program has succeeded in raising public awareness about sorting waste, reducing waste entering the landfill, eliminating the habit of burning waste, and also providing additional income for the Serdang Wetan Village-Owned Enterprise (BumDes).

Abstract

Consumption of household products still produces a lot of packaging waste in the form of sachets or plastic. This is a serious environmental problem because plastic takes hundreds of years to decompose. To reduce the problem of plastic waste, we carry out a Community Service program to increase public awareness through collaboration with Koinpack. Koinpack is a startup company that offers solutions to reduce waste from packaging of household products. Koinpack’s product packaging can be reused. Koinpack provides opportunities for the community to become partners. The purpose of this community service program is to provide business capital (in form of products) to the community to become Koinpack partners and educate consumers about eco-friendly household products and eventually raise awareness to reduce plastic waste. The program is implemented in collaboration with two partners, a housewife who has a home-based business and a BumDes in Tangerang. In addition, socialization was also carried out to the surrounding community regarding this eco-friendly household product solution. The results of this program are providing economic benefits for partners and also increasing public awareness in adopting new innovations in the form of eco-friendly household products. Academically, this program enriches the literature on sustainable consumption.Abstract in bahasaKonsumsi produk kebutuhan rumah tangga masih banyak menghasilkan sampah kemasan dalam bentuk sachet atau plastik. Abstract

Abstract

Amidst digital transformation and demographic bonuses in Indonesia, the emergence of digital entrepreneurship among the younger generation has become a promising yet challenging phenomenon. The main objective of this study is to develop and empirically evaluate an integrated model that explains students' digital entrepreneurial behavior by integrating psychological and technological viewpoints and combining the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) and the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT) approaches. TPB has been widely used to predict entrepreneurial intentions and behavior. However, TPB is not yet considered to be able to capture the role of comprehensive technology adoption in the context of digital entrepreneurship. To bridge this gap, this study integrates the UTAUT approach, which focuses on technology acceptance factors. This integration addresses the shortcoming of the TPB by completely including the impact of digital technology adoption on entrepreneurship, while the UTAUT fails to include psychological motivation. PLS-SEM analyzed data from 322 student entrepreneurs who run social media-based enterprises. The study found that the TPB-UTAUT framework explains 62.2% of the variation in social media adoption (R² = 0.622) and 62.6% of the variance in entrepreneurial activity (R² = 0.626). Eight out of nine hypotheses were supported: attitudes (β = 0.330, p 0.001) and perceived behavioral control (β = 0.189, p = 0.008) significantly influenced social media adoption, while attitudes (β = 0.155, p = 0.006), perceived behavioral control (β = 0.295, p 0.001), performance expectancy (β = 0.149, p = 0.011), and social media adoption (β = 0.225, p = 0.001) directly enhanced entrepreneurial behavior. Effort expectation influenced adoption (β = 0.183, p = 0.005) but not behavior (β = 0.101, p = 0.069). The novelty of this study lies in demonstrating that among digital-native students, effort expectancy loses significance in predicting entrepreneurial behavior, indicating a generational shift in technology adoption dynamics. These insights offer theoretical enrichment and practical implications for designing digital entrepreneurship curricula and policies in developing countries.

Abstract

This article aims to assess the design, development, and User Experience (UX) of GEJUR, a web-based interactive Learning Management System (LMS) designed to foster green entrepreneurship among youth in Nusa Tenggara Timur (NTT), Indonesia. This study defines green entrepreneurship as entrepreneurial activities that combine economic value creation with environmentally responsible practices that promote sustainability in business. This research enhances the domains of Human–Computer Interaction (HCI) and entrepreneurship education by illustrating how user-centered digital platforms may cultivate youth business competencies while promoting the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). GEJUR incorporates interactive learning modules, e-mentoring, and specific cultural features like weaved motifs (pola tenun), providing contextual relevance alongside essential LMS functions. A mixed-methods approach was employed, integrating surveys, Focus Group Discussions (FGDs), semi-structured interviews, and usability testing. Quantitative data were gathered via the System Usability Scale (SUS), whilst qualitative data documented user impressions of obstacles and anticipations. The usability evaluation, conducted with 33 individuals, resulted in a mean SUS score of 48.9, which corresponds to approximately 71.9% of the benchmark score of 68. This positions GEJUR beneath the established threshold, classified as having “poor” usability, although it remains functionally workable. Participants effectively accomplished critical tasks including authentication, course access, and quizzes, and offered favorable feedback regarding the system’s cultural integration. The results highlighted critical areas for enhancement, such as interface uniformity, minimization of response times, and more explicit user feedback. The study finds that GEJUR offers a viable yet improvable foundation for digital entrepreneurship training platforms in underprivileged areas. Subsequent study ought to broaden testing to encompass bigger and more heterogeneous user populations and implement sophisticated UX evaluation criteria beyond the SUS. Through iterative refinement, GEJUR can develop into a scalable platform that facilitates youth empowerment, sustainable business practices, and extensive socio-economic advancement.

Abstract

The theme of this paper is the role of the organization and social capital in the process of virtual collaboration. Business environment is constantly changing and the level of intense competition makes organizations  strive to create more sustainable value. For large organization  with large networks, there are geographical limitations that restrict the process of collaboration between its networks. Advances in technology enable and facilitate the organization to collaborate virtually. From the perspective of dynamic capabilities, virtual collaboration is conceptualized as the dynamic changes in the organization's ability to identify, integrate, and apply knowledge assets as learning materials to meet the competitive demands. Virtual collaboration here enables the process of communication and coordination organization, learning, and innovation-related decision-making processes, and process improvement. This paper uses a case study analysis to explore deeply about virtual collaboration and Social Capital in organization. The result  of the analysis in this paper suggests that engagement, transparency, and horizontal nature of the communication process  can encourage new organizational learning but they can only be done   for  business portfolio. More over, this research also reveals that social capital contributes to the enhancement of organization virtual collaboration process. In addition, cultural factors also limit the success of virtual collaboration on  the distribution of information in the organization at lower levels.Â
