Abstract

The growth of e-commerce in Indonesia at early January 2018, 45% of internet users looking for products or services to be purchased online, 45% users visit online retail stores, and 40% users make purchases of a product or service online. Bank Indonesia estimates the value of e-commerce transactions in 2018 reached 144 trillion rupiahs. Based on data of Badan Koordinasi Penanaman Modal (BKPM), the value of investments in e-commerce and financial technology reaches more than US $ 5 billion. The critical measure of success factors for online stores is the behavior of repeat purchases by consumers. Expectancy and satisfaction of product attributes and system attributes can be the factors that affect online repurchasing. These factors have a positive effect on online repeat purchase. To deepen the phenomenon of the influence in expectancy and satisfaction on product attributes and system attributes, researchers conducted in-depth analysis using qualitative methods. The qualitative method used is a phenomenological approach so that it can describe general meaning of some individuals about life experiences related to the phenomenon. The result of this research is the implications for e-commerce developers. The implications are based on research findings based on e-commerce users, both buyers and experts in the field of business and communication. The implications hopefully can provide insight into the factors affecting the community to shop online in Indonesia and help e-commerce in Indonesia to improve and expand its business

Abstract

The amount of small and medium enterprises (SME) is the largest number of business actor in Indonesia. But the contribution of SME is very small compared with large business. Some researchers found that the most influencing factor cause the condition is the use of information technology. May of the SMEs have not seen the power of information technology such as e-commerce. Author uses the qualitative method to gather deep information from informant that unfound in the recent quantitative research. This research will conduct how to implement the e-commerce based on some successful experiences in SME.

Abstract

IT investment decisions made by the company have uncertain value characteristics; have a high risk than other capital investment failures and intangible benefits of expected. In this situation, effective decision making is an important (perhaps most important) part of managerial activity. In this article, we analyze the influence of decision making under uncertainty, company size, and environmental hostility to intuition and analyze the intuition of company performance. There are five companies as study sample (ie: university, hospital, regional owned enterprises, creative industry, and software house industry) in East Java, Indonesia. The method used was a survey. The respondents were Top Level Management that is responsible for IT investment decision. Data analysis techniques used was Structural Equation Modeling-Generalize Structure Component Analysis (SEM-GSCA). Although intuition process is critical for effective IT investment decision making, we found that: (1) decision making under uncertainty and environmental hostility did not affect on intuition; (2) company size has a positive effect on intuition, and (3) intuition has a positive effect on company performance

Abstract

Green IT (Information Technology) becomes one of the latest considerations to increase environmental sustainability and reduce the cost of Information Technology operation. However, the successful adoption of Green IT needs Green IT readiness measurement taken for the considerations of organizations leader. Green IT readiness focused on capability and maturity the Green IT effects on the organization. G-Readiness Molla was the integrated framework that usually used for Green IT Readiness. G-Readiness framework had five important dimensions, which were attitude, policy, practice, technology, and governance. Without considering how organization culture affected Green IT adoption. This research purpose was to build the appropriate model for inspecting the effect of organizational culture on the five dimensions of Green IT Readiness, that was Green IT Attitude, Green IT Policy, Green IT Practice, Green IT Technology, and Green IT Governance. Based on our literature review, we proposed a hypothesis: organizational culture was one of the key determinant factors in Green IT Readiness. Thus we updated the G-Readiness Molla framework by adding organizational culture as one of its dimensions

Abstract

Software Cost Estimation is an important activity in software development projects. Various measurement methods are widely applied to estimate software cost, and one of them is Function Point Method. Function Point (FPA) method measures the software by measuring software functionality that provided to users based on design logic. The measurement consist of several steps: calculate Unadjusted Function Point (UFP), Value Adjustment Factor (VAF), Adjusted Function Point (AFP) and estimate the software cost. Software project that became the object of this research were four licensing projects from local government with total cost 229.680.000. The estimated total cost of four projects using Function Point method is 216.956.881 rupiahs. The percentage gap between the actual with the function point that is equal to 5.54%. It can be concluded that FPA is an accurate method and this cost estimation can be used by developers in determining the cost of software to be built

Abstract

IT Governance is a branch of the corporate governance system focused on information technology (IT) as well as performance and risk management. IT Governance is defined as the processes that ensure the effective and efficient use of IT in enabling an organization to achieve its goal. There are many different frameworks that can be used for managing the delivery of cost-effective IT services. IT managing the delivery of cost-effective IT services does not always give the advantage to the company. There are times when the IT managing the delivery of cost-effective IT services does not provide any benefit, it can cause IT Productivity Paradox. IT Productivity Paradox can be prevented, one is to analyze the processes undertaken with IT. From this analysis we will get the significance of the relationship processes with the IT Goal. The significance will be seen which one significant process and which one are not significant to the IT Goal. If the IT process there are not significant to the IT Goal, the process does not need to be repaired because it has no effect on IT Goal. Existing IT governance frameworks are COBIT, ITIL, ISO 20000, 17799/27001, Six Sigma, etc. The IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL), initially developed in the UK by the Office of Government Commerce (OGC), is gaining traction in the global IT community as a framework for IT governance. ISO 20000-focusing upon IT service management. ISO 17799 / ISO 27001 - focusing upon information. Six Sigma-focusing upon operational performance and defect identification. COBIT - framework for information IT management risks. Control Objectives for Information and related Technology (COBIT) provides good practices across a domain and process framework and presents activities in a manageable and logical structure. COBIT’s good practices represent the consensus of experts. They are strongly focused more on control, less on execution. These practices will help optimise IT-enabled investments, ensure service delivery and provide a measure against which to judge when things do go wrong. This research is intend to find out whether Cobit mapping Business Goal to IT Goal appropriate with case study. The result The results using SEM approach shows that the mapping of COBIT is not significant in the case studies of academic administration.

Abstract

The importance of usability can determine the success or failure of the web application. Conventional approaches of usability evaluation methods only consider the average score from usability assessment which represents the frequency of problems from users when using the website. Another approach to measure the impact of usability factors can be calculated using the method of Partial Least Square. The case study show that combining between this two approaches (average score of usability assessment and impact of usability factors) can be considered for decision makers in prioritizing factors usability.
