Abstract

Innovation and creativity in this digital era are needed in developing the business you want to do so that you don't get stuck in daily operational activities and pursue performance targets. Therefore, it takes a solid entrepreneurial spirit from within business actors to create innovation and creativity. In addition, the role of market orientation also plays a major role in providing broad market access so that the product innovations developed can reach end users. Thus, it is hoped that every business undertaken by business actors can survive and increase their competitive advantage. The urgency of this research is to examine the effect of entrepreneurship insight and market orientation on innovation and competitive advantage. On the other hand, This study also tries to confirm the mediating effect of innovation on the impact of entrepreneurship insight and market orientation on competitive advantage. This study uses a causal quantitative research design. The number of samples used in this study were 170 MSME business actors. The data analysis method used is Partial Least Square (PLS). The data analysis test tool uses statistical software Smartpls 3.0. This study concludes that the effect of entrepreneurship insight and market orientation on innovation is positive and significant. Likewise, the influence of entrepreneurship insight and innovation on competitive advantage obtained positive and significant results. On the other hand, the effect of market orientation on competitive advantage obtained positive but not significant results. This study also confirms that innovation can mediate the relationship between entrepreneurial insight and market orientation to competitive advantage.

Abstract

The results of this study can be summed summarized as follows: 1. The prices is good, facilities is good and satisfied customers are already satisfied. 2. Regression analysis result is Ŷ = 9,342 + 0,927X1 + 0,173X2,it means there is a positive influence between price and facilities to customer satisfaction. 3. The results of the correlation coefficient analysis obtained value r = 0,819, which means there is a high and positive correlation between price and facilities with customer satisfaction. Obtained value of coefficient of determination = 0,670, meaning that high of customer satisfaction equal to 67% can be explained by price and facility. 4.Hypothesis test result stated H0 rejected, it means the prices and facilities have a positive and significant impact on customer satisfaction at Guest House Humanities Pematangsiantar both simultaneously or partially.The suggestion of this research 1. to streamline the price on the dimension of the payment method, we recommend that you open a bank account in the name of the guest house so as to facilitate payment transactions credit. 2. to improve facilities, guest house should pull out some chairs or tables are not needed in order to avoid the impression of a cramped room at the lobbi. 3. to improve customer satisfaction, we recommend guest house makes guest house website which features a floor plan of the signposts towards the guest house, making it easier for customers to find the location of the Guest House. Keywords: Price, Facilities, Customer satisfaction.

Abstract

The results of this study can be summed summarized as follows: 1. Intellectual Ability is high, ethic of work is high enough and employee performance is high. 2. Regression analysis result is Ŷ = 33,312 + 0,306X1 + 0,302X2, meaning there is positive influence between intellectual ability and ethic of work on employee performance. 3. The results of the analysis correlations is r = 0,660 which means there is a moderately high and positive correlation between intellectual ability and ethic of work with employee performance. The level of employee performance can be explained 43,6% by intellectual ability and ethic of work. 4. Hypothesis test result stated that H0 is rejected, it means intellectual ability and ethic of work have positive and significant influence on employee performance at PT BPRS Amanah Bangsa Pematangsiantar simultaneously and partially. The suggestions of this research is: 1. To strengthen the intellectual ability, the agency should provide opportunities for further education. 2. To improve ethic of work, employee should try to be more sincere and grateful in working for improving the quality of work. 3. To improve performance, the agency should give opportunity for employees to innovate in order to rise the creativity of work. Keywords: Intellectual Ability, Ethic of Work and Employee Performance.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Current Ratio (CR), Debt to Asset Ratio (DAR) on Return On Asset (ROA) moderated by Firm Size (SIZE) on Index IDX 30 Companies Listed on Indonesia Stok Exchange for 2017-2020 period. Data analysis in this study was carried out statistically and statistically inferential. Statistical analysis includes multiple linear regression analysis, classical assumption test, t-test, and hypothesis which Multiple Regression Analysis does. The hypothesis testing results are partially carried out, namely the t-test shows that CR has a positive and insignificant effect on ROA. DAR partially has a positive and significant effect on ROA. Thus the result from moderating analysis, SIZE can moderate the effect of CR on the ROA but SIZE can’t moderate the DAR on ROA of Index IDX 30 Companies for the 2017-2020 period.

Abstract

Purpose – The rapid and massive development of technology, information, and the internet in various business sectors, including SMEs, has created new changes. This situation provides opportunities and challenges for every business actors. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the effect of human, social, and customer capital, as well as technological innovation, on business performance. Methodology – The library and field design method were adopted with a quantitative approach, involving 180 samples of small and medium business actors. Furthermore, the Partial Least Square (PLS) was used to analyze the data. Findings – The result showed that human, social, and customer capital positively and significantly affected business performance. Similarly, technological innovation has a positive and significant impact on business performance. Originality – Employees who work in the small business sector will be relied upon in the future as agents of change. Many practitioners have expressed this in the field of human capital, which assumes greater responsibility for small company players in terms of the style of consultation.

Abstract

Modern Marketing Mix 4Ps focus marketing activities on four pillars: people, process, programs, and performances. With these four pillars, marketers can create campaigns that effectively reach the target audience across various promotional channels to promote products. This study aims to analyze the influence of the Modern Marketing Mix 4Ps in terms of people, processes, programs, and performances on the competitive advantage of MSMEs in Pematangsiantar City. This study's research method includes library and field research design with a quantitative approach. The research subjects taken in this study were SME actors in the culinary sector in Pematangsiantar City. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. The data analysis method used is Partial Least Square (PLS). The data analysis test tool uses the Smartpls statistical software. The study stated positive and significant results between processes, people, programs, performance, and competitive advantage. The conclusion of this study explains that in determining a good 4PS marketing strategy, business actors should need to determine the process, price, and place, promote the right product, determine the packaging and process, and add human resources who work professionally.

Abstract

The main objective of this research is to analyze the effect of cashback promotion as a mediator on the influence of perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness, social influence, trust, and security on the interest in using digital wallets in generation Z and millennial generations. The research method includes library research design and field research with a quantitative approach. The research subjects taken in this study were Generation Z and the Millennial Generation of Culinary SMES in Pematangsiantar City. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. The data analysis method used is Partial Least Square (PLS) with Smartpls statistical software. The study stated positive and significant results between perceived benefits and the social influence of cashback promotions. Furthermore, positive and significant results are perceived ease of use, perceived benefits, trust, and cashback promotions. The results also show that the safety factor has a negative and insignificant effect on the intention to use. For the mediating relationship, it can be concluded that cashback promotion succeeds in mediating the relationship between perceived benefits and social influence on intention to use. The results of this study indicate that the average Generation Z and Millennials have low literacy of digital wallet security issues. Socialization or literacy activities are needed regarding information security which the fintech industry or digital wallet developers routinely carry out.

Abstract

The implementation of community service activities with the theme Strengthening Financial Literacy to Increase Awareness of Financial Planning and Management among Young People aims to make the younger generation and especially young people of the Samiddha Bhagya Temple Pematang Siantar City who as members of the community have better financial literacy knowledge. An understanding of financial literacy is expected to increase high awareness of the importance of making financial planning and implementing effective and efficient financial management. The method used in carrying out this activity is through face-to-face lectures and discussions. The sequence of this activity begins with an opening, and presentation of material, and continues with discussion. Participants were very appreciative of this activity because it provided an understanding of the importance of financial planning and financial management for future financial security.

Abstract

Servant leadership is currently emerging as a modern leadership style that is expected to produce good performance for the organization. The purpose of this study was conducted to determine whether service leadership is able to affect employee performance, the results of the study found that servant leadership has a positive and significant coefficient on performance, it is shown through the results of the equation Y = 7.610 + 0.492 X, then the results of the hypothesis show that service leadership has a positive and significant effect on performance. This means that leaders who are able to serve as servants for their members will be able to provide positive results on the performance of their members, and if leaders can become servants directly, they will create high loyalty for their members and reduce turnover rates for the organization.
