<![CDATA[Investors need to invest wisely because the Covid 19 pandemic has gone global, so that the stock exchange has also begun to waver. Therefore, several methods are needed to determine investment decisions. This study uses the CAPM (Capital Asset Pricing Model) method and classifies and evaluates LQ 45 index companies based on the level of undervalued and overvalued. This type of quantitative descriptive research is the type of research applied in this research. In this study using saturated samples. Data processing was done using Microsoft Excel application program. The results of the study by comparing the beta value with the expected return have an inversely proportional relationship. from the 45 companies, there are 20 Undervalued companies and 25 Overvalued companies.]]>

<![CDATA[The performance of teachers who are still not in accordance with their abilitiestoday is a problem in the management of education. There are several factorsthat can affect the performance of the teacher, including individualcharacteristics and teacher competence, but these two factors also still haveshortcomings in their management. For this reason, the purpose of this study isto examine the influence of individual characteristics and teacher competencieson teacher performance at the teachers of SMK Negeri 1 Siantar, SimalungunRegency, totaling 24 people. This study uses quantitative and qualitative analysis with the use of validity and reliability tests where the results are valid andreliable. For the normality test that the data has a normal distribution, then forthe simple regression equation and multiple regression that the results of thecorrelation coefficient of individual characteristics and teacher competence onteacher performance are positive. For the partial test that individualcharacteristics have a positive and significant effect on teacher performance, forthe partial test of the teacher competency variable on teacher performance it haspositive and significant results. The results for the simultaneous test are knowntogether that individual characteristics and teacher competencies have a positiveand significant effect on teacher performance, this shows that when individualcharacteristics and teacher competencies are good, teacher performance willalso be good.]]>

<![CDATA[Digitization has become something that is inherent in our daily habits, one of which is shopping habits. In addition to shopping for fashion products by visiting offline stores directly, consumers are also given the opportunity to purchase fashion products online whenever and wherever they are. This study aims to determine the effect of consumer demographic characteristics on their preferences for shopping fashion products offline or online. Data collection is carried out by distributing questionnaires online through whatsapp and telegram groups during June-July 2021, which resulted in 162 responses. Chi-Square and Kruskal-Wallis tests are used to test the hypothesis. The results prove that there are insignificant results between consumer demographic characteristics and preferred shopping method. Furthermore, research data also shows that more than half of the respondents still prefer to shop for fashion products offline rather than online although in the Covid-19 pandemic situation because they want to evaluate the product physically.]]>

<![CDATA[In doing investment, an investor certainly avoids risk; thus, the investor needs a model in making predictions to forecast the return of shares. There are two models to predict this: Capital Asset Pricing Capital (CAPM) and Arbitrage Pricing Theory (APT). The purpose of this study is to find out which models are more accurate in determining investment options, especially during the Covid-19 pandemic in companies that are included in the LQ 45 Index group. The population in this study is 50 companies listed in LQ 45 from February 2020 - July 2021. The sampling technique used in this study is purposive sampling. The data used in this study will be processed through Ms.Excel and SPSS Version 21. The data analysis techniques used in this study are the Basic Assumption Test consisting of Normality Test and Homogeneity Test, Mean Absolute Deviation (MAD), and hypothesis testing consisting of independent t-test samples. The results in this study show that Model is accurate in predicting stock returns in the Covid-19 pandemic is a CAPM model this is because the value of MAD CAPM is smaller than mad APT. Furthermore, independent t-test samples showed that H0 was rejected which meant that there was a difference in accuracy between CAPM and APT in calculating the return of LQ 45 shares. The implication of this study are expected to provide references to investors and potential investors as a source of information in decision making to make investments in this pandemic period.]]>

<![CDATA[Abstrak: Tujuan dari program pengabdian ini adalah untuk menanamkan wawasan dan juga pengetahuan perihal keterampilan yang wajib dimiliki oleh seorang guru di masa setelah pandemi Covid-19. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilakukan melalui metode ceramah dengan menggunakan presentasi powerpoint, tanya jawab dan juga diskusi tentang berbagai permasalahan yang muncul di sekolah. Kegiatan seminar dalam rangka pengabdian kepada masyarakat Kepala sekolah dan guru anggota KN-LWF anggota KN-LWF Pematangsiantar yang berjumlah 63 orang ini hadir dalam seminar yang bertempat di GKPS Jalan Jenderal Sudirman Pematangsiantar pada tanggal 23 November 2021 ini. Hasil dari pelaksanaan kegiatan ini adalah guru menjadi paham dan juga mendapatkan gambaran terhadap apa yang perlu dipersiapkan oleh diri mereka dalam mendapatkan kemampuan keterampilan 4C abad ke 21 melalui diskusi dan juga tanya jawab setelah pemaparan selesai. Dari kegiatan pengabdian tersebut, peneliti menyimpulkan bahwa guru dalam dunia pendidikan harus memiliki 4C 21st Century Learning Skills dan memberikan dampak yang mendalam bagi generasi penerus bangsa, memungkinkan mereka menghadapi dan mengatasi tantangan kehidupan abad ke-21.Abstract: The purpose of this community service program is to instill insight and knowledge about the skills that a teacher must possess in the post-Covid-19 pandemic. This community service was done through a lecture method using PowerPoint presentations, questions and answers and also discussions on a variety of issues that arise in the school. The seminar activities in the context of community service Pematangsiantar's KN-LWF members' principals and teachers, a total of 63 people, were in attendance at this seminar which was located at GKPS Jalan Jenderal Sudirman Pematangsiantar on November 23, 2021. The result of the implementation of this activity is that teachers understand and also get an idea of what they need to be prepared for in gaining 21st century 4C skills through discussion and also question and answer after the presentation was completed. After completing the community research, the researchers summarized that teachers in the world of education must have the 4C 21st Century Learning Skills and have a profound impact on the nation's next generation, enabling them to face and overcome 21st-century life's challenges.]]>

<![CDATA[Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan bernyanyi naposobulung di Gereja HKBP Sola Gratia Binjai. Adapun kegiatan ini dilaksanakan oleh Dosen bersama mahasiswa dari Prodi Sastra Inggris dan Prodi Seni Musik Fakultas Bahasa dan Seni Universitas HKBP Nommensen Medan. Kegiatan ini dilakukan, berkaitan dengan mata kuliah Praktek Lapang Tematik (PLT) dimana Fakultas Bahasa dan Seni telah membangun Desa Binaan di Lingkungan II, Kelurahan Dataran Tinggi, Binjai Timur, Kota Binjai. Tahapan kegiatan dalam kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah: 1) Melakukan survey lokasi di lingkungan II, 2) Merumuskan masalah, 3) Merumuskan pemecahan masalah, 4) Menentukan target luaran dari setiap rangkaian pemecahan masalah. Hasil yang diperoleh dalam kegiatan pengabdian ini diperoleh: 1)Naposobulung memberikan respon yang sangat tinggi terhadap kegiatan pelatihan bernyanyi, 2) Naposubulung memiliki keinginan untuk belajar bermain gitar dalam mengiringi lagu “O Holy Nightâ€, 3) Napobulung mampu menyanyikan lagu “O Holy Night pada acara Natal di Gereja HKBP Sola Gratia Lingkungan II, Kelurahan Dataran Tinggi, Binjai Timur. Tahapan-tahapan ini dilakukan berdasarkan kesepakatan bersama dikarenakan harus menentukan waktu bersama. Selanjutnya berdasarkan diskusi bersama dengan pihak naposobulung, orangtua dan penatua di gereja tersebut maka mereka menginginkan agar kegiatan ini bisa berlangsung teru menerus dan menjadi bentuk kerjasama melalui Surat Perjanjian Kerja (SPK) dalam meningkatkan kemampuan naposobulung untuk melakukan bernyanyi bersama di acara-acara kebaktian dalam gereja. Diharapkan kerjasama ini dapat berlangsung bukan hanya untuk naposobulung saja tetapi untuk anak-anak sekolah minggu juga.]]>

<![CDATA[One of the production sectors that has become the flagship product of Pematangsiantar City is ulos cloth. Ulos cloth is a typical woven fabric of the Batak community developed for generations in North Sumatra, one of which is the city of Pematangsiantar. This study aims to explore various information related to the number of ulos craftsmen in Pematangsiantar city to facilitate the government in grouping these ulos craftsmen and as a first step to formulate an innovation strategy for the development of creative ulos fabric production to be able to develop superior products armed with knowledge. knowledge, creativity, innovation and being able to create jobs for the community. This type of research is qualitative with a one-shot model, namely an approach model by conducting one-time data collection on an object of research. The research subjects taken in this study were ulos craftsmen spread across eight sub-districts of Pematangsiantar City. The analysis was carried out in eight sub-districts in Pematangsiantar City. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews and questionnaires, field notes and documentation.The results of the study concluded that the innovation strategy applied by the ulos fabric craftsmen was not optimal, this was due to the limited capacity and opportunity to innovate, the ulos craftsmen experienced problems in making product innovations related to technological limitations caused by limited investment capital to buy new machines or equipment. to improve production processes and limited human resources who can operate new machines or make innovations that take advantage of technological developments.]]>

<![CDATA[The purpose of this study was to determine the ability of variable product quality, price and product design to purchase decisions made by the football team in Karang Sari Village. The total population of soccer players is 80 people and with the purposive sampling method it was found that there were 35 users of Adidas shoes. By using the validity and reliability test that the data under study the results are valid and reliability. Furthermore, the hypothesis results found that simultaneously product quality, price and product design have a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions, but for the partial test that prices have a negative and insignificant effect on purchasing decisions, for product quality and product design have a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions.]]>

<![CDATA[Organizational discipline is very useful for companies in achieving employee performance. The purpose of the study was to see how the influence of discipline on the performance of employees of PT Alamjaya Wirasentosa Depo Pematangsiantar, which amounted to 25 employees. Data testing was carried out using a validity test with valid criteria and reliability with the results of reliable criteria normality test showing the results that the data distribution is normally distributed, the coefficient of determination with the results is 43% while the remaining 57% which is a variable that is not explained in this study, simple regression with the results equation Y = 22.884 + 0.824, and the results of the partial test show that there is a positive and significant influence of discipline on employee performance. This shows that good discipline will produce good performance, if the discipline is too binding then performance can decrease.]]>

<![CDATA[The purpose of this research to know: 1. The description of leverage, activity and profitability at PT Astra Otoparts, Tbk which are listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. 2. What factors are cause profitability at PT Astra Otoparts, Tbk which are listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange tend to decline. This research was conducted using Qualitative Descriptive Analysis and Inductive Analysis. This research was conducted based on secondary data from company financial statements obtained from the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The results of the study can be concluded that: 1. Leverage as measured by Debt to Assets Ratio (DAR) fluctuates and tends to increase. 2. Activities measured by Working Capital Turnover (WCT) fluctuate and tend to increase. 3. Profitability as measured by fluctuating Return On Assets (ROA) tends to decrease. 4. Factors that cause decreased profitability are increased business debt, increased inventory and increased cost of goods sold so that the resulting profit decreases. The results of the study suggest: 1. It is best if the company needs to review the use of corporate debt in financing its activities by carrying out control of accounts receivable and strict supervision and evaluation periodically, so that the risk of such debts can be minimized. 2. It is better for the company to pay more attention to the management of supplies effectively and efficiently so as to produce increased sales. Effective inventory management also needs to pay attention to inventory storage so as not to overload, both obsolete inventory and unsold inventory. 3. It is better for the company to pay more attention to using its assets to generate high sales accompanied by an increase in profit after tax owned by the company to produce good profits.
