Abstract

In order to get a good performance from a wireless sensor network, it is necessary to measure parameters of the network. RSSI (Received Signal Strength Indicator) is one of the network parameters that measure the signal strength received by a radio receiver in communication module. In this study the RSSI measurement experiment was performed in a wireless sensor network with the ZigBee protocol. Measurements were accomplished in three topologies, i.e. point-to-point, star, and mesh, both indoor and outdoor scenarios. Indoor measurements are carried out within the laboratory with concrete wall partition, while outdoor measurements are carried out in open space with the line-of-sight (LOS) conditions. XCTU software is used to measure RSSI measurements, by sending 100 data packets of 64 bytes with 1 second delivery intervals. Results show that the farther the data transmission distance, the RSSI value relatively decrease due to obstacles and reduced radio signal strength. While, in the mesh topology the addition of a router will also cause a slightly increase in the RSSI value.

Abstract

Intisari— Dalam dunia engineering, suatu sistem direkayasa menjadi serba otomatis. Salah satunya pada alat bantu pekerjaan, yaitu untuk mempermudah dan mengefisienkan waktu serta tenaga yang digunakan. Jenis alat bantu pekerjaan yang direkayasa tersebut adalah alat pada proses pengumpulan kopi. Untuk menghasilkan kopi yang terbaik maka proses pengolahan kopi harus dilakukan secara benar. Kopi dijemur di lapangan terbuka dibawah terik matahari langsung. Para petani pun kesulitan saat mengumpulkan kopi yang masih terhampar di lapangan dan apabila mendadak cuaca sudah mulai mendung dan hujan turun. Sehingga tercetuslah ide untuk membuat “Rancang Bangun Alat Pengumpul Kopi Model Terhampar Secara Otomatis Berbasis Arduino UNO”. Rancangan bangun alat ini merupakan miniatur yang dibuat pada bidang agroindustri kopi yang berukuran 60x90 cm. Alat ini bekerja apabila sensor LDR mendeteksi cuaca gelap dan Arduino UNO akan mengendalikan motor DC untuk menggerakan sistem mekanikal/aktuator. Kemudian, sistem mekanikal tersebut akan menggerakkan dua buah papan pengumpul yang bergerak dari dua arah yang berbeda dan menarik kopi dari pinggir lapangan menuju ke tengah lapangan. Pada saat proses pengumpulan kopi sedang dilakukan dan hujan tiba-tiba turun, maka terpal otomatis akan menutupi seluruh permukaan lapangan untuk mencegah kopi agar tidak basah, berdasarkan respon yang diterima oleh sensor hujan. Kopi yang selesai dikumpulkan akan menggunung dibagian tengah lapangan dan alat akan berhenti bekerja Berdasarkan hasil pengamatan yang dilakukan, intensitas cahaya yang dibaca oleh sensor sangat mempengaruhi cara kerja alat ini. Saat cuaca terang dengan intensitas cahaya sebesar 286 Lux alat tidak akan bekerja, dan aktif pada saat intensitas dibawah 68 Lux. Sedangkan untuk sistem aktuator, semakin besar torsi pada motor maka akan semakin besar pula arus yang terukur. Sehingga membutuhkan daya yang lebih besar pula. Terlihat pada saat proses pengumpulan kopi berlangsung arus yang terukur mencapai 1,1 ampere dan torsi yang terukur mencapai 3,5 N/m. Maka diperlukan perancangan yang baik pada sistem mekanikal agar tidak terjadi kesalahan yang bisa menyebabkan penambahan beban pada motor. Kata kunci: Arduino, mechanical, mikrokontroller, otomatis, rekayasa, dan sistem elektrik.  Abstract— In the world of engineering, a system is engineered to be completely automated. One of them on the work aids, namely to simplify and streamline the time and energy used. The types of work tools that are engineered are tools in the process of collecting coffee. To produce the best coffee then the coffee processing must be done correctly. Coffee is dried in an open field under direct sunlight. The farmers were defeated when collecting coffee that still lies in the field and when suddenly the weather has started cloudy and rain down. So the idea came out to make the Design of Arduino UNO Model-Based Automatic Collecting Apparatus. The design of this tool is a miniature made in the field of coffee agro-industry measuring 60x90 cm. This tool works when the LDR sensor detects dark weather and Arduino UNO will control the DC motor to drive the mechanical / actuator system. Then, the mechanical system will move two collecting boards moving from two different directions and pull the coffee from the sidelines to the center of the field. At the time the coffee collection process is being done and the rain suddenly goes down, the automatic tarp will cover the entire surface of the field to prevent the coffee from getting wet, based on the response received by the rain sensor. The finished coffee will be mounted in the center of the field and the equipment will stop working. Based on observations made, the intensity of light read by LDR sensors greatly affect the workings of this tool. When the weather is bright with the intensity of 286 Lux the appliance will not work and is active at the intensity below 68 Lux. As for the actuator system, the greater the torque on the motor will be the greater the measured current. So it requires more power as well. Seen at the time of the process of collecting the current measured currents reached 1.1 ampere and torque measured to reach 3.5 N / m. It is necessary to design a good mechanical system to avoid errors that can cause additional load on the motor. Keywords: Arduino UNO, automatic, electrical, engineering, mechanical systems, microcontroller, and syntax.

Abstract

AbstractImplementation of good governance’s principles at Rajabasa, Bandar Lampung has not done well. It caused by the lack of communication between government (public officials) and citizens. Therefore, the purpose of this public service activity is to resolve the problem by using information technology. The activity chooses a smaller government scope, which is a neighborhood area. The activity involves two steps, which is website creation and training step. The website contains are statistic data of citizens, procedures to apply the resident documents completing with the required forms, activities announcement, interactive forum for conveying critics and suggestions between citizens and government, and promotion forum for industry players. As a result, the website successfully displays a variety of information needed by citizens, and provides a means of communication for citizens and public officials. Training step about procedure for using the website also has been done. Certainly, evaluation about the liveliness of citizens in accessing the website is still required. However, good communication, efficiency, and effectiveness can begin to form well, which leads to better implementation of good governance.Keywords: good governance, information technology, public service

Abstract

The Lampung Museum has many historical collections, one of which is tapis cloth. The tapis cloth collection at the Lampung Museum is still not safe because the layout is still open and the distance is far from CCTV. This study aims to design a series of security systems using two Passive Infra Red (PIR) sensor inputs and a buzzer output and a VC0706 camera at the Lampung Museum which can be monitored directly remotely with notifications on the Telegram platform. The research method used is design and testing (subsystem testing and overall system testing). The data from this research are the results of system design, how the security system works on filter cloth objects and the overall system. The security system was tested using Telkomsel, Indosat and Tri providers. The results obtained for image quality 640 x 480 Pixels obtained an average delivery time from Telkomsel providers for 25.2 seconds, providers for Indosat 27.4 seconds and Tri providers for 28.6 seconds. then an experiment was carried out with 3 different image qualities, namely 640 x 480 Pixels, 320 x 240 Pixels and 160 x 120 Pixels with Telkomsel provider with an average sending value for image quality 640 x480 Pixels for 25.2 seconds, image quality 320 x 240 Pixels for 20.5 seconds and 160 x 120 Pixel image quality for 17.7 seconds. Then testing sending Telegram notifications remotely from a security system tool and obtained that the time sent notifications from the Arduino IDE serial monitor is the same as the time received notifications on the Telegram platform, which means sending notifications takes place in real time. Abstract

In tomato plants, one of the decisive factors is the soil humidity factor, where the optimal humidity for tomato plants is 80%. For this reason, the tomato planting process requires regular and measurable irrigation or watering. This research aims to create an automatic watering system for tomato plants with soil humidity and pH detection. In this system, Fuzzy logic is used as the control method and this system is also equipped with a monitoring system using the telegram application. In this system, the humidity sensor and soil pH sensor will provide information about soil conditions and forward the electrical signal to the NodeMcu ESP32 microprocessor, as the control center and signal processing. This input signal is then processed using Fuzzy logic control to decide whether the system will activate the relay on the water pump. If the humidity value is <60%, the pump will activate and sprinkle water until the humidity reaches 80%. The measurement results of soil humidity, soil ph, and pump relay conditions will be sent via Internet of Things technology so that they can be monitored remotely using the Telegram application. From the research results, it is found that the system can work as expected with an accuracy value of 100% with a delay time for sending data to Telegram of 14.1 seconds. Keywords: Fuzzy logic, Humidity, NodeMcu, Sensor, Soil pH.

Abstract

Ventilator merupakan mesin yang berfungsi untuk menunjang pernapasan. Alat ini umumnya dibutuhkan  pasien yang tidak dapat bernapas sendiri. Mesin ini mengatur proses menghirup dan menghembuskan nafas pada pasien. Banyak kendala dengan hasil pengujian dan kalibrasinya yang tidak sesuai. Hal ini dikarenakan ketidaktahuan terhadap metode pengujian dan kalibrasi ventilator yang sesuai standar. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk melakukan pengujian dua metode kalibrasi yaitu kalibrasi mandiri dan kalibrasi pihak ke dua mesin anastesi ventilator pengujian di lakukan dengan cara pengamatan fisik dan uji fungsi alat, pengukuran keselamatan listrik dan melakukan kinerja kalibrasi sesuai dengan nilai standar dari metode kerja kalibrasi alat medis4. Menganalisa dan membandingkan kedua metode serta mencari En dan mendapati metode yang mana yang layak di gunakan untuk kinerja alat seterusnya. Hasil peneitian ini menunjukan bahwa : 1) Perbedaan hasil  perhitungan   antara   metode kalibrasi pihak ke 2 dan kalibrasi mandiri dikarenakan penggunaaan yang berbeda di setiap pengujian maupun alat pendukung yang digunakan.  Berdasarkan perhitungan dari Error Number, Untuk metode kalibrasi mandiri dapat digunakan didalam proses pengambilan data karena dibeberapa kondisi tertentu ada diantara Error Number yang masuk nilai ambang batas dan dalam jangka pemakaian yang terbatas hanya sampai 6 bulan, karna kondisi alat penunjang dan kesetabilan listrik di rumah sakit sangat berpengaruh pada alat tsb. 2) Perbandingan repeatability kedua metode banyak sekali terjadi perbedaan yang signifikan, Contoh pada satu metode kalibrasi mandiri pada setting tidal volume yang mendapat nilai repeatability yang presisi akurasi pada pengukuran nya pada percobaan 1 : -23,6, percobaan 2 : 14,2 dan percobaan 3 : -15,2 menunujukan pengulangan yang baik antara jarak percobaan 1 , 2 sampai 3. Naik turun nya kondisi tersebut di akibatkan kondisi flow sensor dan o2 sensor yang melebihi batas pemakaian. Begitupun dengan percobaan respiration rate metode kalibrasi mandiri yang mendapat nilai repeatability hampir mendekati presisi yaitu di 5,56% .

Abstract

This study aims to create a prototype of an electronic key system using internet of things-based RFID with a validated monitoring system with registered data. This system is applied to the door of the Integrated Laboratory of the Department of Electrical Engineering, University of Lampung. The electronic keys that are created are very difficult to break into and also easy to change the access secret code to maintain confidentiality. The developed electronic door lock device has strong security reliability with code validation. The code validation block serves as a door unlock determinant. The validated data will produce a signal 1 which will drive the actuator, in this case the door lock solenoid, to work (lock open). The security code has 2554 combinations. To access the door from outside, the RFID tag should be registered in the database and permitted by administration and the ID number data is on the processor. The counter will count the number of people who pass through the door, if more than one person then the buzzer will sound. Then the door lock solenoid is closed and will lock the door again. From the experimental results it is found that this system can work well with a minimum delay of 1.8 s obtained at a distance between devices of 5 m.

Abstract

Integrasi model bahasa canggih dalam tugas-tugas pembangkitan teks telah menampilkan beberapa aplikasi yang luas di berbagai bidang, termasuk ekstraksi konten. Penelitian ini memanfaatkan model bahasa OpenAI GPT-3 untuk mengembangkan aplikasi yang membantu dalam proses persiapan konten penulisan kreatif dengan menerapkan fitur ekstraksi konten. Fitur-fitur ini mencakup ekstraksi informasi, meringkas paragraf, mengidentifikasi topik utama, dan menafsirkan teks untuk presentasi terminologi yang optimal. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan 'few-shot learning' yang melekat pada model GPT-3. Kinerja aplikasi ini dievaluasi secara ketat melalui uji coba, membandingkan efektivitasnya dengan mesin pembangkitan teks komersial yang banyak digunakan saat ini. Tujuannya adalah menganalisis tingkat kelayakan sistem yang telah kami bangun terhadap aplikasi lain yang populer. Metrik evaluasi termasuk BERTscore dan ROUGE digunakan sebagai pengujian. Aplikasi ini mencapai BERTscore sebesar 86% untuk precision, 88% untuk recall, dan 87% untuk F1-Score. Selain itu, evaluasi ROUGE menghasilkan skor ROUGE-L sebesar 55% pada precision, 60% pada recall, dan 57% pada F1-Score, hasil tersebut menunjukkan kekuatan model dalam tugas ekstraksi konten. Hasil ini memberikan gambaran bahwa model GPT-3 berpotensi baik dalam meningkatkan efisiensi dan akurasi untuk tugas persiapan konten tulisan dalam industri penulisan kreatif.   Abstract The integration of advanced language models in text generation tasks has featured some extensive applications in various fields, including content extraction. This research utilises the OpenAI GPT-3 language model to develop an application that assists in the content preparation process of creative writing by implementing content extraction features. These features include information extraction, summarising paragraphs, identifying main topics, and interpreting text for optimal terminology presentation. This research utilises the ‘few-shot learning’ approach inherent to the GPT-3 model. The performance of this application was rigorously evaluated through trials, comparing its effectiveness with commercial text generation engines widely used today. The aim is to analyse the feasibility of the system we have built against other popular applications. Evaluation metrics including BERTscore and ROUGE were used as tests. The application achieved a BERTscore of 86% for precision, 88% for recall, and 87% for F1-Score. In addition, the ROUGE evaluation resulted in ROUGE-L scores of 55% in precision, 60% in recall, and 57% in F1-Score, these results show the strength of the model in the content extraction task. These results illustrate that the GPT-3 model has good potential in improving efficiency and accuracy for the task of writing content preparation in the creative writing industry.

Abstract

Rukti Endah Village is a village that is part of the administrative area of Seputih Raman sub-district, Central Lampung Regency. Rukti Endah Village has enormous livestock potential with a village area of 800 hectares where the majority of people are livestock breeders and farmers. One of the livestock MSMEs in Rukti Endah Village is CV Raman Farm Sejahtera, known as Raman Farm. Raman Farm facilitates livestock groups in the area to develop livestock care businesses called Hotel Ternak. The Hotel Ternak accepts care for livestock by customers to be raised until they are ready to be sold, one of which is goats. The more customers and livestock they entrust, the more difficult it is to manage the development history of each livestock. Apart from that, to expand the business network, customer trust is needed through more professional business management by utilizing information system technology. This activity aims to create an information system for monitoring goat enlargement including the health history of goats which is named the Goat Enlargement Monitoring Information System (SI MBEK) using the Rapid Application Development (RAD) system development method by means of iterative development, providing assistance and management training and use of goat farming information systems and carry out activity evaluations. The method for implementing community service used is Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) in which partners actively participate in this activity. The result of this community activity was the construction of SI MBEK. The application of SI MBEK can increase effectiveness in managing livestock hotels for rearing goats. Because it uses the RAD-iterative development model, SI MBEK can continue to be developed into the second version and beyond by adding features according to further needs.
