Abstract

Background of the study: The existence of information management unit is important for the continuity of information life cycle. However, in reality, not all institutions have this unit. This research was conducted to provide an overview of information management at universities that do not yet have a special information management unit. Purpose: This research aims to provide a design information management that can be applied, especially at the UIN Malang or other public universities; especially those that have similar conditions with this university. Method: This study utilized a qualitative method and a case study approach. Through in-depth interviews with parties who understand the flow of the university's work. In addition, observations were conducted at other institutions with comparable structures to develop a workable information management design for this institution. Findings: An information management design at Universitas Islam Negeri Malang can be implemented with policies and division of work in certain units owned by this university. Conclusion: A workflow, especially for information management, must be implemented with commitment from all units involved, so that the absence of a related unit does not become a barrier to information management.

Abstract

Pemilihan umum merupakan agenda lima tahunan bagi masyarakat Indonesia. Pada masa pencalonan ini para calon presiden dan wakil presiden melakukan kampanye secara konvensional maupun modern. Kampanye secara modern dilakukan pada media sosial salah satunya twitter. Salah satu hasil kampanye tersebut akhirnya akan membentuk opini publik tentang popularitas calon presiden dan wakil presiden yang berasal dari media sosial twitter juga. Data yang tidak terstruktur dan tingginya dimensi menjadi tantangan dalam penelitian ini. Penelitian ini dimulai dengan studi literatur, identifikasi permasalahan, pengumpulan data berupa scrapping pada twitter, pengolahan dan analisis data, serta langkah terakhir penarikan kesimpulan. Data yang diperoleh sebanyak sebanyak 2298 tweet, yang dibagi menjadi 80% data latih dan 20% data uji. Pada tahapan pengolahan data penelitian ini menggunakan klasifikasi Naïve Bayes untuk membentuk model klasifikasi, berdasarkan model tersebut diperoleh nilai akurasi 83%, presisi 84%, dan recall 83%.

Abstract

Perpustakaan berbasis inklusi sosial merupakan perpustakaan yang berperan aktif dalam menyediakan informasi terhadap masyarakat luas tanpa adanya diskriminasi terhadap kelompok tertentu. Bertujuan untuk menguatkan peran perpustakaan umum dalam memajukan sumber daya manusia yang memiliki kemampuan literasi tinggi dengan diimbangi kreativitas. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini, inklusi sosial di Perpustakaan Umum Kota Batu sendiri terdiri dari empat layanan kegiatan yaitu teknik decoupage, cooking, English Club, dan e-Book. Dari segi pendukung kegiatan, sarana dan prasarana yang dimiliki oleh Perpustakaan Umum Kota Batu cukup memadai baik dari tempat maupun alat dan bahan yang dibutuhkan untuk menjalankan kegiatan inklusi sosial. Inklusi sosial yang diadakan oleh Perpustakaaan Umum Kota Batu belum dilaksanakan secara maksimal sehingga untuk menuju tujuan akhir berupa peningkatan kesejahteraan belum tercapai. Pada kenyataannya terdapat informan yang tidak menerapkannya karena berbagai macam hal dan hanya menjadikannya sebagai sebuah knowledge.

Abstract

ABSTRACTInfopreneurship is an information marketing activity carried out by selling information in digital platform, and then distributing it through internet pages. In the realm of libraries, this infopreneurship activity provides many benefits for both the users and the library itself. Based on the results of this study, it was found that infopreneurship activities, especially in the Regional Library and Archives Service of Malang City, had more positive impacts on their users. The positive impacts include the fact that users can always get the latest information related to the library, both in terms of services, collections, in terms of operating hours, and so on quickly and easilyKeyword: infopreneurship; impact; digital marketing. ABSTRAKInfopreneurship merupakan sebuah kegiatan pemasaran informasi yang dilakukan dengan menjual informasi dalam bentuk digital, lalu menyebarkannya melalui laman internet. Dalam ranah perpustakaan, kegiatan infopreneurship ini memberikan banyak  keuntungan baik bagi pemustakanya maupun bagi perpustakaan itu sendiri. Dari hasil penelitian, didapat bahwasanya kegiatan infopreneurship terutama di Dinas Perpustakaan dan Arsip Daerah Kota Malang lebih banyak memberikan dampak positif terhadap penggunanya. Adapun dampak positif tersebut diantaranya adalah pemustaka selalu bisa mendapat informasi terbaru terkait perpustakaan, baik dari segi layanan, segi koleksi, segi jam operasional, dan lain sebagainya secara cepat dan mudah.Kata kunci: infopreneurship, dampak, pemasaran digital

Abstract

The Universitas Nahdlatul Ulama Surabaya (UNUSA) book distribution service has seen a reduction as a result of library access, which was running smoothly during the Covid-19 prevalent period. This service, one of the best offered by the UNUSA library, is still provided, nonetheless. The purpose of this study is to learn how to use UNUSA's book delivery service. Descriptive qualitative research is used in this kind of study. Informants, research locations, and supporting documentation served as data sources. We used observation, documentation, and interviewing as our data collection methods. According to research conducted at the UNUSA library, books were borrowed and returned using the book delivery service by filling out information on a Google Form and paying with COD payment system. The performance of librarians shows a responsive, solutional, informative, and fast attitude in responding to requests for delivery of collections with delivery times of one day to three days with a shipping cost range of Rp.7000 – Rp.21000 depending on the distance of delivery and the delivery service used. Satisfaction with using the book delivery service shows the ease of users in accessing books so that they save more time and effort. However, access to book delivery services is quite difficult and users lack knowledge of the existence of these services, so it is necessary to evaluate book delivery services.Keywords: Library, Book delivery service, Covid-19 endemic, Nahdlatul Ulama University students in Surabaya

Abstract

This research discusses the utilization of LoRa and LoRaWAN or Low Power Wide Area (LPWA) and Low Power Wide Area Network (LPWAN). In this study, the application server is utilized using Telkom IoT. In its utilization, Telkom IoT can provide comprehensive results regarding LoRa quality of service capabilities such as bit rate, latency, and longitude and latitude data. Terrestrial measurements conduct tests in different areas with different conditions that cause different data obstruction, with several LoRa end-node points transmitting data with low bit-rate. For example, heart rate data. Some other parameters are the spreading factor (SF) and power consumption. Some parameters that determine the quality of transmitting data include the Spreading Factor and the Bandwidth used. From the analysis dan Experiment results, the Delay (ms) generated from measurements using RFM96 LoRa for IoT is around 0.02 seconds or 20 ms to around 0.05 seconds or 50 ms, and sometimes it can reach 0.07 ms to 0.09 ms. RSSI and SNR show the quality of the signal obtained which will provide a Quality of Service (QoS) value. From the measurement results using Telkom IoT in several times of data collection and testing, the average RSSI (-dBm) is at -110 dBm to -115 dBm. While SNR is at -10 dB to -16 dB.

Abstract

Pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pendampingan bagi guru Bahasa Inggris Madrasah Tsanawiyah di Kabupaten Malang dalam Implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka dan penyusunan asesmen dengan menggunakan metode Partisipatory Action Research (PAR). Tahap perencanaan meliputi observasi dan wawancara dengan guru Bahasa Inggris, dimana hasil observasi mengindikasikan kebutuhan mendesak dalam pendampingan implementasi kurikulum merdeka dan penyusunan asesmen. Tahap pelaksanaan yaitu memberikan pelatihan dengan mengundang narasumber yang ahli di bidang kurikulum dan asesmen, dilanjutkan dengan diskusi interaktif dan praktik penyusunan asesmen. Tahap evaluasi melibatkan refleksi dan angket yang dibagikan kepada peserta. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa pendampingan ini berhasil meningkatkan pemahaman guru terhadap Kurikulum Merdeka dan pembuatan asesmen. Namun, ditemukan beberapa kendala dalam penyusunan asesmen diantaranya pemilihan soal dan penentuan rubrik yang sesuai dengan kemampuan siswa yang beragam. Implikasi dari kegiatan ini adalah perlunya pelatihan lanjutan untuk mendukung penerapan Kurikulum Merdeka, khususnya dalam menyusun asesmen yang relevan dan efektif.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kesesuaian pengelolaan arsip dinamis di BBIB Singosari dengan Permentan No. 30 Tahun 2019 melalui audit prosedur penciptaan arsip, pelaksanaan JRA, dan dokumentasi peminjaman arsip. Penelitian ini juga akan menganalisis efektivitas sistem penyimpanan hybrid BBIB dengan mengidentifikasi kelemahan integrasi dan dampak kondisi terhadap kerusakan arsip fisik serta merumuskan rekomendasi perbaikan berjenjang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan studi dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif analitis melalui tahapan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Meskipun secara administratif telah mengadopsi sistem digital dan Jadwal Retensi Arsip (JRA), hasil penelitian menunjukkan proses pengelolaan arsip belum optimal. Kendala yang dihadapi meliputi rendahnya kesiapan sumber daya manusia, keterbatasan infrastruktur teknologi informasi, serta belum terintegrasinya platform digital secara sinkron. Hal ini menyebabkan fragmentasi data, penumpukan arsip fisik, dan minimnya efisiensi kerja. Penyimpanan arsip fisik dilakukan tanpa standar pengendalian lingkungan yang memadai, meningkatkan risiko kerusakan dokumen. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan beberapa pelatihan yang berkelanjutan, evaluasi infrastruktur IT, serta penyusunan prosedur teknis yang mendukung integrasi dan penyusutan arsip sesuai JRA. Hasil penelitian diharapkan dapat menjadi dasar perbaikan manajemen arsip di BBIB dan referensi untuk lembaga serupa dalam menerapkan transformasi digital kearsipan secara menyeluruh dan berkelanjutan.

Abstract

This community service program aimed to enhance the capacity of school library staff in Ngajum District, Malang Regency. The approach employed Participatory Action Research (PAR) through a workshop model consisting of interactive lectures, group discussions, hands-on practice, and follow-up monitoring. The workshop covered three main aspects: institutional and infrastructural foundations, library services and human resources, and collection management with the use of information technology through the Integrated Library System (SLiMS). A total of 32 participants, mostly teachers assigned as part-time library managers, joined the program. Evaluation results indicated a high level of participant satisfaction, with a grand mean score above 3.5, where the staff service indicator achieved the highest rating. The program proved effective in strengthening participants’ understanding, practical skills in library management, and readiness to utilize technology to support the school library’s role as a modern and sustainable learning resource center.

Abstract

Background: The KH Hasyim Asyari Islamic Museum (MINHA) in Jombang is dedicated to honoring KH Hasyim Asyari and preserving historical artifacts related to Nahdlatul Ulama. Although it opened in 2018, the museum faced closure due to the pandemic until 2022, and local visitor numbers remain lower compared to those from outside the city.Objective: This research aims to design a branding strategy to strengthen MINHA's image.Methods: The methodology follows the stages of Moilanen and Rainisto: (1) Start-up and Organization, (2) Research Stage, (3) Forming Brand Identity, (4) Making, Executing, and Enforcing the Plan, (5) Implementation and Follow-up.Results: Findings reveal strengths in historical heritage and strategic location, but weaknesses in visitor data and promotion. The proposed branding strategy includes developing a travel profile book, Instagram feed, billboard, brochures, and merchandise.Conclusion: The study concludes that branding design following the Moilanen and Rainisto methodology is expected to enhance the potential of historical tourism and increase public awareness of cultural heritage.
