Abstract

Community service activities in tourism village education were conducted to provide assistance and foster innovations, particularly those based on community participation. The limited involvement of Karang Taruna Sari Muda Manunggal in optimizing the existing tourism potential highlighted the necessity for such activities. Therefore, the community service team organized workshops featuring professional practitioners from Padjer School, an independent organization addressing public issues related to tourism village development. These workshops aimed to enhance community engagement and develop sustainable tourism innovations. The results demonstrated that collaborative participation played a significant role in improving the effectiveness of tourism village development. In conclusion, community assistance involving active public participation was found to accelerate the achievement of sustainable tourism development goals.

Abstract

Currently, there are still heated discussions regarding the low level of sharia financial literacy and inclusion, which causes a lack of competitiveness. At the same time, Indonesia is entering an era of demographic bonus, which can be seen from the large number of millennial generations and a Muslim population of 237.56 million people (86.7% of the total population). This research uses a quantitative approach with survey methods to collect data from a sample of the millennial generation in Indonesia. The research instrument is a questionnaire designed to measure the level of Islamic financial literacy and use of Islamic financial products and services. Data analysis was carried out using the SmartPLS tool to test the relationship between Islamic financial literacy and Islamic financial inclusion. The validity and reliability of the instrument were tested before data collection to ensure the accuracy of the research results. The research results show that there is a positive and significant relationship between Islamic financial literacy and Islamic financial inclusion. Millennials with a high level of Islamic financial literacy tend to be more active in using sharia financial products and services. This research has important implications for stakeholders, including governments, financial institutions, and educational organizations, to strengthen Islamic financial literacy programs to encourage wider participation in the Islamic financial system.

Abstract

Abstract

This study aims to analyze news texts on the online news portal IDN Times. The data in this study consisted of news texts from the online news portal IDN Times, edition 2025. The data analysis method employed is the distributional method. The researcher analyzed the texts by identifying sentences that did not conform to syntactic rules and assessed the suitability of the texts as proper and accurate news texts. The results revealed various syntactic errors, including errors in sentence structure, diction, punctuation, sentence effectiveness, loanword usage, and conjunction usage. How ever, the findings indicate that although some syntactic errors were found, the news texts on the portal generally have a relatively good and coherent structure. Therefore, the texts can provide valuable insights into language use in the context of online media and serve as sources of information for studying language quality and effective communication in digital news writing.

Abstract

This study investigates the impact of financial, social, and Shariah compliance dimensions on the Maqashid Syariah Index (MSI) in Islamic banks, focusing on a comparative case analysis of sixteen banks (eight from Indonesia and eight from Malaysia) during 2019-2024. The financial dimension is measured using ROA, CAR, FDR, and NPF; the social dimension is represented by ZPR and QH; and Shariah compliance is proxied by the frequency of Shariah Supervisory Board meetings. Panel data were analyzed using the Fixed Effect Model (FEM) for Indonesia and the Random Effect Model (REM) for Malaysia. The results indicate that ROA, FDR, and ZPR significantly affect MSI in Indonesia, reflecting both operational efficiency and zakat-based redistribution. In Malaysia, CAR, FDR, QH, and SSB significantly influence MSI, highlighting the importance of capital strength, social finance, and governance. Rather than generalizing to the entire Islamic banking industry, the study is framed as a country-specific comparison that illustrates how institutional and regulatory contexts shape the realization of Maqashid Syariah principles in Indonesia and Malaysia.
