Abstract

Pesantren Jagat Arsy is one of the Islamic boarding schools in South Tangerang Regency, Banten Province that implements a religious learning system using the modeling behavior method. Students are taught how to behave in accordance with the behavior of the teacher as an educator who becomes a model figure for students or students. In this case the researchers wanted to examine how the enculturation of modeling behavior in shaping the Islamic tradition of students with religious attitudes at Pesantren Jagat Arsy. In this study, a descriptive qualitative research method, with observation and interview data collection techniques was implemented. Interviews were conducted with 4 boarding school teachers, and to determine these teachers, purposive sampling techniques were used. After the data were collected, they were then analyzed using qualitative data analysis technique suggested by Miles and Huberman. The results of the study based on the results of interviews and observations concluded that Pesantren Jagat Arsy education prioritizes moral and moral improvement with religious guidance through the modeling behavior method of the teachers. The influence of teacher figures at Pesantren Jagat Arsy is really high in shaping the religious attitudes of students related to behavior and moral values.

Abstract

ABSTRACTSinar Cendekia (SC) is an educational institution that is managed professionally, from creative-innovative learning strategies and organized teacher and student development models. This study uses a qualitative methodological approach, namely a research method based on the post-positivism philosophy, which is used to examine the condition of a natural object, where the researcher is the key instrument, the data collection technique is done in a triangulation (combined), qualitative data analysis. The types and sources of data collected in this study are primary data sources, from data and information from interviews, observations and documentary studies found. This study sees that the implication process of self-efficacy is to be able to deal with one's own inner state, to regulate itself in spirituality, physical care, and in fostering human relationships with others in various environments through individual / group research activities in the form of visits to certain places that reflect one regional development dynamics.

Abstract

Modern religious education faces difficult challenges caused by rapid technological advances and changes in the socio-cultural environment. One of its main tasks is to improve the quality of religious education and ensure the effectiveness of religious learning in elementary schools. The dissemination of knowledge through technology is an urgent matter but it is also necessary to develop competencies and adapt to today's world. The aim of the research is to analyze and improve the methodological competence of educators by using digital educational resources for religious education. The research method used was empirical with a total of 360 respondents. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews and surveys, monitoring student learning activities, studying teacher experiences, conducting practical-experimental discussions, and surveys, as well as analyzing and evaluating student work results. Analysis techniques include methodological reflection, critical evaluation, quality revision, and analysis of methods and exercises used in terms of suitability and effectiveness. As a result, digital educational resources were found to be an effective method in forming the professional orientation of future religious educators. These findings encourage the professional training of future educators and to improve professional qualifications in basic education institutions. In conclusion, the importance of integrating digital technology into the educational process to improve the quality of education and develop student competencies.

Abstract

Islamic religion teachers act as educators who not only teach religious materials, but also shape students' characters. This study aims to explore the role of Islamic religion teachers in overcoming students' egocentrism in madrasah. Egocentrism, which is characterized by excessive focus on oneself, can hinder students' social interaction and character development. The research method used is qualitative, with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. The research subjects involved religion teachers, students, and parents at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Ibrahimy Sukoerjo, Situbondo, East Java. The results showed that religion teachers have an important role in instilling moral and ethical values through interactive teaching methods. The strategies applied include example-based learning, group discussions, and social activities that prioritize empathy and cooperation. In addition, parental support and a positive school culture contribute significantly to reducing students' egocentrism. However, challenges such as a lack of training for teachers and academic pressures remain limiting factors. The findings emphasize the importance of collaboration between teachers, parents and the community in creating a learning environment that supports students' character development. This research is expected to provide insights for the development of more effective educational programs in shaping empathic and social attitudes among madrasah students.

Abstract

Islamic boarding schools as one of the faith-based education, also function as Islamic religious broadcasters. Islamic boarding schools have a high level of integrity with sekitamya and become a moral show for the general public. The science studied is inseparable from religious teachings, meaning that all events that occur are considered to have a relationship with religious teachings. The educational institution built by kiayai Noer Iskandar SQ is the Asshiddiqiyah Islamic Boarding School which is an Islamic educational institution and a religious social institution. In its capacity as an Educational, Religious, and Community institution, Asshiddiqiyah Islamic Boarding School always exists in developing its educational concept and remains committed as a stronghold of the Islamic shiar struggle. The method that the author used in this study is the qualitative method. The reason researchers use this is because in this paper, the author wants to provide, explain, describe the concept of pesantren education thought developed by KH. Noer Iskandar SQ who critically, or describes a phenomenon, an event, or an event of social interaction in pesantren. Therefore, this type of qualitative research is descriptive, by collecting field data and existing literature. The difference between one type and another lies in the purpose and strategy of discovery.

Abstract

Abstract School-based management is an education delivery model that provides flexibility to schools to compile and implement education programs in schools according to their needs through the empowerment of existing resources including community participation so that it better reflects efforts to improve the delivery of education delivery services in a democratic, transparent and accountable manner in real terms to achieve the goal of more efficient education and effective without prejudice to the objectives of National Education. SD Al-Fityan school is flexible in managing, organizing, utilizing school resources in a transparent manner, accountability, making decisions with school residents and being responsible in its performance. This type of research is descriptive qualitative with data sources from representatives. Descriptive qualitative research is research that explains a phenomenon concretely, actually, and realistically. The data collection techniques used in this study were interviews, observations and documentation of data validation. This qualitative research uses methods based on the philosophy of post-positivism, to examine the natural condition of objects, focusing more on meaning than generalization. School Based Management (SBM) There is some evidence of the components of School management consisting of student management, curriculum management, finance, personnel, facilities and infrastructure. SD Al-Fityan school is flexible in managing, organizing, utilizing school resources in a transparent manner, accountability, making decisions with school residents and being responsible in its performance. Abstract

The principal plays a crucial role in improving teachers' professional qualifications, making it essential for an educational institution to have a competent school principal to achieve predetermined goals. This study examines the role of school principals as supervisors in enhancing teacher professionalism in Islamic senior high schools. The research aims to analyze the principal’s role, identify supporting and inhibiting factors in the supervisory process, and assess their impact on teacher professionalism. This study employs a qualitative research method, emphasizing in-depth observation to explore existing phenomena. The research subjects include the school principal and teacher informants. This qualitative study collects data through observation, interviews, and document analysis, with data validity ensured through triangulation. The findings reveal that school principals supervise through planning, implementation, and evaluation while fostering a sense of collegiality. Adequate supervision includes classroom visits, meetings, and individual discussions. The principal employs direct, indirect, and collaborative supervisory approaches. However, time constraints, external principal duties, and hesitancy towards senior teachers hinder the supervisory process. Supporting factors include strong relationships between teachers and principals, the formation of a quality assurance team, and adequate facilities.

Abstract

This study explores the influence of the thoughts of three prominent Indonesian women scholars, Prof. Dr. Zakiah Drajat, Prof. Dr. Tutty Alawiyah, and Prof. Dr. Huzaemah Tahido Yanggo, on the development of Islamic education in Indonesia. Specifically, it investigates how their intellectual contributions and leadership have shaped Islamic educational discourse and practices in response to contemporary societal challenges. Using a qualitative descriptive method and literature-based analysis, this research applies deductive reasoning and historical approaches, including heuristic, verification, interpretation, and historiography. Data were collected through observation, document analysis, and literature review. The results demonstrate that these scholars have played significant roles in advancing Islamic education by their respective fields of expertise, strengthening religious institutions, and promoting inclusive Islamic thought. Their contributions reflect strategic efforts to integrate Islamic values with modern educational needs, highlighting their impact as transformative religious leaders.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the role of the digitalization era as an intervening variable among the millennial generation toward organizational culture in Islamic boarding schools. To find out this, a research question was created which was answered in a hypothesis or temporary research answer, namely that the millennial generation has a significant influence on the organizational culture of Islamic boarding schools. The second hypothesis is that the digital era has a positive and significant influence on organizational culture and the final hypothesis is that the millennial generation has a positive and significant influence on Islamic boarding school organizational culture through the digital era. This research is quantitative research with a survey method, where data is obtained through questionnaires that have been tested for validity and reliability. The research instrument uses a 1-5 Likert scale. In determining the sample from the population using probability sampling using path diagram analysis whose analysis uses structural equation modeling (SEM). The results of the research show that there is a significant influence between the millennial generation on organizational culture, secondly, the digital era has a positive and significant influence on organizational culture and the main finding in this research is that the digital era variable can mediate the millennial generation on organizational culture with its indicators.

Abstract

The center for the development of religious moderation in the mosque can become a center of information, a place for managing all matters so that the mosque becomes a source of knowledge, a source of reading and a source of warnings, advice and direction in the form of da'wah. The shift in da'wah patterns for the millennial generation coincides with technological advances that make things easier, so that strategies, methods and media are needed to spread da'wah. And all of its activities aim to invite the millennial generation to good and forbid evil. The emergence of the millennial generation Islamic community is an attraction and a challenge for the millennial generation in understanding and implementing Islamic religious values ​​that have been conveyed through da'wah in accordance with the conditions and phenomena after the Covid-19 pandemic. The research methodology was carried out based on the purpose of writing, in the form of field research, using a descriptive qualitative approach that is conceptually adequate about specifics, topics, subjects, and targets. The displacement of people's lives in the digital era has changed a new order of life that ignores geographical, cultural, political and economic boundaries, which emphasizes the flow of information and communication. The challenge of religious moderation in digital preaching for millennials and other social media users has social implications in society. Various positive and negative impacts arising from positive impacts include making it easier to get information, being able to join the community, and being able to actualize. And social media preachers are one of the reference choices for the Muslim middle class who are religious.
