Abstract

Kegiataan pengabdian dan peningkatan keterampilan peserta didik berupa transfer pengetahuan dan teknologi melalui program Go Green School adalah upaya untuk memanfaatkan potensi sampah organik yang ada di lingkungan sekolah. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah memberikan edukasi dalam mengatasi permasalahan sampah organik dan non-organik yang timbul di lingkungan sekolah, serta memberikan pengetahuan dan keterampilan kepada peserta didik tentang mengelola sampah organik menjadi sesuatu yang bermanfaat dan bernilai jual dengan membuat pupuk kompos dari sampah organik menggunakan metode Takakura. Pengabdian masyarakat ini dilaksanakan pada Minggu ketiga bulan September – minggu kedua bulan Oktober 2022 di SMP Negeri 2 Ende Selatan kabupaten Ende. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini yaitu pemberian materi atau sosialisasi dan demonstrasi. Hasil  evaluasi  terhadap kegiatan Go Green School  di SMPN 2 Ende Selatan   memperlihatkan     adanya     peningkatan pengetahuan peserta didik tentang kompos dan teknik pembuatannya.  Transfer teknologi pembuatan pupuk kompos memberikan manfaat yang besar yaitu adanya peningkatan pengetahuan peserta didik tentang manfaat bahan sisa sampah organik sebagi bahan baku pembuatan kompos. Service activities and improving students' skills in the form of knowledge and technology transfer about composting with the go green school program are efforts to utilize the potential of organic waste in the surrounding environment. The purpose of this activity is to provide education in overcoming the problems of organic and non-organic waste that arise in the school environment, as well as provide knowledge and skills to students about managing organic waste into something useful and of sale value by making compost from organic waste using the organic waste method Takakura. This activity is held on the third week of September – the second week of October at SMP Negeri 2 Ende Selatan, district of Ende. The method used in this activity is presenting material or socialization and demonstration. The results of the evaluation of the achievement of activity objectives can be stated as follows. The Go Green School activities at SMPN 2 Ende Selatan show increased knowledge about compost and its manufacturing techniques. Students, as participants, know and understand the strategy for processing organic waste through recycling waste into compost can turn waste into something of economic value. Transfer of technology for making compost provides great benefits, namely an increase in student's knowledge about the benefits of organic waste residue as raw material for making compost.

Abstract

Learning facility is one important item to support the learning process. This paper discusses the effect of learning facilities on students' motivation at SMP Islam Muthmainnah Ende. The sample of the research involved 46 students in class VII. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. The research instruments were questionnaires and documentation, which were analyzed by simple linear regression analysis through SPSS version 21. The results indicate that hypothesis Ha was accepted and H0 was rejected because there was an effect of learning facilities on students’ learning motivation which, was indicate a significance value of 0.000. The magnitude of the effect of learning facilities on students’ learning motivation is shown by the coefficient of determination of R2 = 0.310 or 31%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penggunaan media diorama dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa materi klasifikasi makhluk hidup kelas VII SMP Negeri 1 Ndona. Jenis peneliti?n y?ng digun?k?n ?d?l?h eksperimen deng?n pendek?t?n ku?ntit?tif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa/siswi kelas VII SMP Negeri 1 Ndona yang terdiri dari 6 kelas yang berjumlah 156 orang, dan sampel dalam penelitian berjumlah 30 siswa dengan teknik simple random sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara, tes, angket, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan dengan uji t. Dari hasil perhitungan uji hipotesis menunjukan bahwa nilai Sig. (2-tailed) sebesar 0,000. Hal ini menunjukan bahwa nilai Sig. (2-tailed) lebih kecil dari 0,05 atau (0,0000,05) maka dapat disimpulkan H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima. Disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan media diorama berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar siswa materi klasifikasi makhluk hidup kelas VII SMP Negeri 1 Ndona

Abstract

This reseach aimed to determine the proper cassava drying technique to produce suitable flour properties for food product applications. The method used was proximate analysis and calculation of Gross Energy (GE) value. Furthermore, the results of the study were analyzed using the Two Way ANOVA statistical test followed by the real difference test using the Tukey analysis. Results of the analysis showed that there was no significant difference between the two drying techniques (α0.05). To get good quality flour in the application of food products made from Nuabosi cassava flour is to use oven drying and sun drying techniques. The novelty of this study is that there has been no previous research on the quality of Nuabosi cassava flour using oven drying and sun drying techniques. The benefit of this research is to support the government in the food diversification program on foods made from Nuabosi cassava flour, where Nuabosi cassava is one of the leading types of food in Ende district.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemanfaatan lingkungan alam sekitar sekolah sebagai sumber belajar terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas X SMA Negeri Welamosa. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan eksperimen dan desain yang digunakan one group pretest-posttest design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X SMA Negeri Welamosa yang berjumlah 30 orang siswa dan terdiri dari satu kelas. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa X SMA Negeri Welamosa yang terdiri dari 30 orang siswa. Pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling, dan data akan dianalisis dengan menggunakan SPSS versi 25. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pemanfaatan lingkungan alam sekitar sekolah sebagai sumber belajar berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada materi ekosistem kelas X SMA Negeri Welamosa tahun pelajaran 2022/2023. Hal tersebut dapat dilihat dari nilai rata-rata pretest 40,67 sedangkan nilai rata-rata posttest 79,00 dan nilai signifikan pada hasil uji hipotesis paired sample test dengan nilai sig. (2-tailed) 0,000 < 0,05.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan model inkuiri berbasis etnobiologi terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik di SMP Negeri 11 Satarmese. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kuantitatif. Desain yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini pre-experiment one group pretest-post-test. Variabel terikat dalam penelitian ini adalah hasil belajar peserta didik di SMP Negeri 11 Satarmese, sedangkan variabel bebas adalah model inkuiri berbasis etnobiologi. Populasi dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 98 peserta didik yang terdiri dari tiga kelas yaitu kelas VII – IX. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah kelas VII yang berjumlah 26 peserta didik yang diperoleh dengan teknik purposive sampling. Data yang diperoleh dari sampel penelitian berupa hasil belajar peserta didik yang terdiri dari aspek kognitif. Analisis data dilakukan dengan uji t menggunakan program bantuan SPSS for windows versi 25. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa penerapan model inkuiri berbasis etnobiologi berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar pesera didik kelas VII SMP Negeri 11 Satarmese. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari hasil pre-test dan post-test peserta didik. Hasil belajar kognitif setelah diberi perlakuan mengalami peningkatan sebesar 85,49. Uji hipotesis hasil belajar peserta didik kelas eksperimen menunjukan bahwa nilai signifikan<0,05. Dengan demikian dapat dikatakan bahwa H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima atau ada pengaruh penerapan model inkuiri berbasis etnobiologi terhadap hasil belajar IPA SMP Negeri 11 Satarmese

Abstract

Media pembelajaran berbasis teknologi menjadi salah satu unsur penting yang perlu dikuasai oleh guru maupun pengajar untuk mencapai tujuan pembelajaran pada era saat ini. Tujuan pengabdian masyarakat ini yaitu untuk mengenalkan dan melatih para guru dalam menguasai pembuatan media pembelajaran berbasis teknologi yaitu dengan aplikasi Canva. Pelatihan ini diberikan kepada 12 guru SMP Swasta Islam Muthmainnah. Metode pelatihan yang digunakan yaitu dengan pengarahan, diskusi dan tanya jawab, praktik langsung di lapangan serta pendampingan. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa guru memahami penggunaan Canva dan mampu mempraktikan secara langsung pembuatan media pembelajaran berbasis Canva yang kemudian dapat diaplikasikan kepada beberapa siswa

Abstract

This study focuses on the Reba tradition and the conservation of yam (Dioscorea esculenta) in Binawali Village, Ngada Regency, through an ethnobotanical approach. The Reba tradition is an annual harvest ritual in which the Ngada ethnic community honors yam as a symbol of life, prosperity, and ancestral heritage. Yam is considered the "bread of life" and their main staple food long before rice and corn were known. Despite having high historical and spiritual value and being easy to cultivate, the utilization of yam is still low, due to the lack of interest of the younger generation and the suboptimal economic utilization which threatens its sustainability as a local agrobiodiversity. This study aims to describe the symbolic meaning of yam in the Reba tradition and examine how the tradition contributes to local and sustainable yam conservation. This study uses a qualitative method with an ethnographic approach, through participant observation, interviews, and documentation of traditional elders, village heads, farmers, and community members for data collection. The results show that the Reba tradition not only functions as an expression of spiritual culture, but also as a mechanism for in situ conservation of yam through customary regulations, management of inherited land, and transmission of local knowledge between generations. This finding emphasizes the importance of strengthening customary institutions as a pillar in community-based agrobiodiversity conservation.

Abstract

Tabha Lame is a traditional food of the Ua Tribe in Nagekeo Regency which has been traditionally believed to increase breast milk production. However, this belief has never been scientifically studied and systematically documented, especially regarding its nutritional function and ethnobotanical value. This study aims to identify the composition of ingredients, processing, and nutritional potential of Tabha Lame as a locally based functional food. This study was conducted using a qualitative descriptive approach through interviews and field documentation methods with traditional leaders and women who possess traditional knowledge. The results show that Tabha Lame is made from local ingredients, such as: jali (Coix lacryma-jobi), moringa leaves (Moringa oleifera), peanuts (Arachis hypogaea), and coconut milk cooked using the Dhedhu Zaka technique. The content of phytoestrogens, iron, vegetable protein, vitamin A, and unsaturated fatty acids in these ingredients contribute to supporting the lactation process. The slow cooking process maintains micronutrients, while the symbolic presentation demonstrates the integration between nutrition and culture. The conclusion of this study confirms that Tabha Lame is a locally based functional food with potential for development in community-based nutritional interventions for breastfeeding mothers and the preservation of traditional knowledge.
