Abstract

Guru Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan tentang penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) bagi guru-guru SD di Kecamatan Buleleng. Sasaran kegiatan ini adalah guru-guru SD yang ada di Kecamatan Buleleng sebanyak 20 orang. Metode kegiatan dilakukan dengan memberikan ceramah, tanya jawab, pelatihan membuat proposal PTK, dan pendampingan di Sekolah. Kegiatan bertempat di ruang PPG Jurusan Pendidikan Fisika FMIPA Undiksha. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan bahwa secara umum pelaksanaan kegiatan berjalan dengan baik. Kegiatan pelatihan dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan para peserta tentang PTK hal ini didasarkan pada draf proposal yang dihasilkan oleh peserta. Respon peserta sangat positif, guru-guru sangat antusias mengikuti pelatihan. Para peserta sangat mengharapkan kegiatan ini berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Tujuan pengabdian pada masyarakat ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan praktikum bidang IPBA (Astronomi) bagi guru-guru SMP/SMA di Kota Singaraja dalam rangka mengantisipasi rendahnya prestasi belajar IPBA siswa serta sebagai persiapan menuju olimpiade Astronomi. Sasaran kegiatan adalah guru-guru SMP/SMA   yang   ada   di   Kota   Singaraja.   Realisasi   kegiatan   dilakukan   dengan memberikan ceramah dan pelatihan bertempat di Laboratorium Fisika Dasar Jurusan Pendidikan Fisika FMIPA Universitas Pendidikan Ganesha. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan bahwa secara umum pelaksanaan pelatihan berjalan baik. Kegiatan pelatihan dapat meningkatkan keterampilan guru dalam melaksanakan praktikum dan mengobservasi objek langit malam; dapat meningkatkan penguasaan materi IPBA dari kategori  kurang  (rata-rata  pre  test  47,5)  menjadi  baik  (rata-rata  post  test  70,5). Demikian pula, respon peserta adalah positif dan guru-guru sangat antusias mengikuti pelatihan. Namun, dalam pelaksanaan praktikum hand on dibutuhkan waktu lebih banyak, sehingga topik pelatihan praktikum perlu dibatasi. Kepada pihak terkait disarankan agar dibentuk suatu wadah dimana para guru dapat sharing pengetahuan tentang pengamatan langit malam dan pembahasan soal-soal terkait dengan olimpiade astronomi.

Abstract

This study aims to validate concept understanding instruments on cell material for high school students using Content Validity Ratio (CVR) and Content Validity Index (CVI). Instrument validation was conducted by five experts from three different universities. The results showed that most of the items had CVR and CVI values that met the established validity criteria, only a few items were declared invalid and needed to be revised or deleted. Furthermore, the results of the reliability test using Cronbach's Alpha obtained a value of 0.913 which indicates that this instrument has excellent reliability. This valid and reliable instrument can be used by biology teachers in high school to measure students' concept understanding of cell material. The use of this instrument is expected to help identify weak areas of student understanding and design more effective learning strategies. This research supports the importance of instrument validation to ensure the accuracy of measurement results and increase teacher and student confidence in the results obtained. Thus, the instrument that has been developed is expected to contribute significantly to improving the quality of biology learning in high school.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan efektivitas penggunaan laboratorium virtual Tinkercad terhadap kreativitas mahasiswa pada mata kuliah elektronika digital dasar. Populasi penelitian ini sebanyak 3 kelas mahasiswa di program studi Pendidikan fisika dan Pendidikan IPA yang mengambil mata kuliah elektronika sebanyak 42 orang. Sampel penelitian adalah mahasiswa semester V prodi Pendidikan Fisika sebanyak 15 orang dan mahasiswa semester IV Pendidikan IPA sebanyak 16 orang. Instrumen penelitian berupa lembar kerja mahasiswa berbasis proyek pada modul elektronika digital yang telah dinyatakan valid, praktis dan efektif dalam meningkatkan kreativitas. Data dianalisis dengan analisis deskriptif dan uji-t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rerata skor kreativitas mahasiswa pada kelompok eksperimen sebesar 85,4 (SD 6,04) dalam kategori sangat tinggi, dan kelompok kontrol sebesar 80,9 (SD 3,83) dalam kategori tinggi. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan lab virtual Tinkercad berbasis penilaian proyek efektif dalam meningkatkan kreativitas mahasiswa.

Abstract

Education is expected to be able to form a whole person who is aware of the importance of comprehensive learning in facing global challenges so that education must provide opportunities for students to learn in a learning process that is optimally designed. Science learning, especially physics, cannot be separated from identifying natural phenomena through observation activities and deeper exploration through experimental activities. However, there are still many challenges in implementing science learning, especially physics in the field. To identify the problems of science learning, especially high school physics, this study was conducted with the hope of obtaining accurate data related to the problems faced by educators and students. This research is classified as qualitative research with a case study type. The research data will be analyzed through three stages, namely data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions and verification. The subjects in this study were school principals, physics teachers, and high school students in Singaraja city. The focus of the research is focused on six aspects related to problems or challenges in physics learning, namely: aspects of student readiness, teacher readiness, IT-based learning innovation, learning process, learning facilities, and high school student learning outcomes. ABSTRAKPendidikan diharapkan mampu membentuk manusia seutuhnya yang menyadari pentingnya pembelajaran yang komprehensif dalam menghadapi tantangan global sehingga pendidikan harus memberikan kesempatan kepada peserta didik untuk belajar dalam suatu proses pembelajaran yang dirancang secara optimal. Pembelajaran IPA khususnya fisika tidak dapat dipisahkan dari mengidentifikasi fenomena alam melalui kegiatan observasi dan eksplorasi yang lebih dalam melalui kegiatan eksperimen. Akan tetapi, masih banyak tantangan dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran IPA khususnya fisika di lapangan. Untuk mengidentifikasi permasalahan pembelajaran IPA khususnya fisika SMA, penelitian ini dilakukan dengan harapan dapat memperoleh data yang akurat terkait permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh pendidik dan peserta didik. Penelitian ini tergolong penelitian kualitatif dengan jenis studi kasus. Data penelitian akan dianalisis melalui tiga tahap yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data, serta penarikan simpulan dan verifikasi. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah kepala sekolah, guru fisika, dan peserta didik SMA di kota Singaraja. Fokus penelitian difokuskan pada enam aspek terkait permasalahan atau tantangan dalam pembelajaran fisika yaitu: aspek kesiapan peserta didik, kesiapan guru, inovasi pembelajaran berbasis IT, proses pembelajaran, sarana prasarana pembelajaran, dan hasil belajar peserta didik SMA.

Abstract

This study investigates the validity and reliability of a numeracy literacy instrument tailored for visually impaired students, focusing on solar system materials. The methodology involved distributing a questionnaire to three randomly selected experts who rated the instrument's content validity using the Content Validity Ratio (CVR) and the Content Validity Index (CVI). The results indicated that 9 out of 12 items were valid with CVI ? 0.68, while 3 items required revision. The reliability analysis, performed using Cronbach's Alpha, yielded a high value of 0.916, surpassing the critical threshold, thus confirming the instrument's consistency. These findings suggest that, with minor modifications, the instrument is both valid and reliable for assessing numeracy literacy among visually impaired students, highlighting its potential application in inclusive education settings.

Abstract

The aims of this paper is to describe an innovative physics learning model in developing creative thinking skills. The studies carried out were 1) indicators of creative thinking skills, 2) ways to develop creative thinking skills. This study is a Systematic Literature Review which is carried out by identifying, reviewing, evaluating and interpreting all research that has been carried out and written in the form of scientific articles. The design used is to summarize and review 20 articles that have a specific focus on research objects in journals indexed by Scopus. The results of the study state that 1) the indicators of creative thinking skills that are widely used in research are Guilford and Torrance's creative thinking; 2) there are various innovative physics learning models that can be implemented to develop creative thinking skills, including project-based learning models, STEM-based learning models, problem-based learning models, flipped classrooms, and technology-assisted learning models.

Abstract

Scientific argumentation is a critical cognitive and social skill that enables students to evaluate claims, assess evidence, and communicate reasoning logically—skills central to scientific literacy. The main objective of this study is to compare the effectiveness of the PBL-SSI vs. PBL model on improving students' Scientific Literacy and Scientific Argumentation Skills. This type of research is a quasi-research with a pre-test post-test non-equivalent control group design. The study population was all 233 students of grade VII of SMP Negeri 1 Sidemen in the 2024/2025 academic year. Based on the analysis, the results found: there are differences in scientific literacy and scientific argumentation skills of students who learn using problem-based learning models in the context of socio-scientific issues with problem-based learning models (F = 2.44; p < 0.05), there are differences in scientific literacy who learn using problem-based learning models in the context of socio-scientific issues with problem-based learning models. (F = 56.96; p < 0.05), there is a difference in the scientific argumentation ability of students who learn using a problem-based learning model in the context of socio-scientific issues with a problem-based learning model (F = 39.86; p < 0.05). There is a positive influence of 97% on the problem-based learning model in the context of socio-scientific issues on improving students' scientific literacy and scientific argumentation abilities.

Abstract

This research uses the Theory-Based Instrument Development Model. This model develops an instrument based on existing theories to ensure that the instrument has a strong theoretical basis. The steps are determining relevant theories, compiling instrument items based on theoretical concepts, validating content with theoretical experts, and testing the reliability and validity of empirical evidence. To determine the validity of the content, the VCR (content validity ratio) and CVI (content validity index) methods are used, item validity and reliability. The result is the validity of the content, the validity of the items, and the reliability of the developed instruments are important aspects in the development of assessment instruments. The development of science process skills instruments has great significance in the context of education. This instrument helps in measuring students' ability to carry out scientific processes such as observing, classifying, measuring, communicating, inferring, predicting, identifying variables, using number, and using spice/time relation Integrated processes: formulating hypotheses, controlling variables, devining operationally, investigating and experimenting. In this study, the science process skill instrument developed obtained the result of content validity declared very valid (0.91) based on the CVR and CVI tests, and based on the empirical test of the validity of the item and reliability (0.940) , it was stated that 21 items of science process skills were in the valid and reliable category.
