Abstract

Pemerintah Kabupaten Pasuruan mengimplementasikan sistem perpajakan yang mengelola berbagai aspek produksi, distribusi, dan penjualan rokok. Urgensi penelitian ini melalui penerapa merit sistem maka karyawan Bea Cukai akan diberikan penghargaan berdasarkan kinerja dan kontribusinya. Rumusan masalah penelitian ini: 1) Bagaimana promosi jabatan dilakukan di Bea Cukai Kabupaten Pasuruan? 2) Bagaimana penerapan merit system pada Anggota Bea Cukai Kabupaten Pasuruan? 3) Bagaimana optimalisasi peningkatan kinerja Bea Cukai Kabupaten Pasuruan? Metode penelitian ini menggunakan kualitatif melibatkan pengumpulan data yang kemudian dianalisis untuk diinterpretasikan maknanya. Pengumpulan data penelitian melalui: 1) Observasi; 2) Wawancara mendalam; dan 3) Dokumentasi. Lebih lanjut teknik analisis data melalui reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Objek penelitian ini adalah peningkatan kinerja Bea Cukai Kabupaten Pasuruan. Hasil penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi penting dalam memahami bagaimana penerapan merit system dapat berperan dalam meningkatkan kinerja dan efektivitas pengelolaan cukai rokok di Kabupaten Pasuruan. Tenaga kerja Bea Cukai yang berhasil menunjukkan kinerja unggul dan kontribusi yang signifikan diberikan penghargaan berupa promosi jabatan atau pengakuan lainnya, sesuai dengan kebijakan organisasi.

Abstract

Pengabdian masyarakat ini berfokus pada penanganan masyrakat disabilitas anopthalmia melalui pembuatan mata palsu di Kota Sruabaya, permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh mitra, yaitu: 1) Penyesuaian pencetakan bahan baku; 2) Ketersediaan bahan baku mata palsu dan gigi palsu yang tidak stabil; 3) Pengolahan bahan baku sampai finishing memakan waktu yang lama; 4) Kurangnya kebersihan ruangan praktek dan produksi bahan jadi; 5) Belum pernah promosi secara online; 6) Belum maksimalnya branding perusahaan; 7) Transaksi pembayaran masih manual; 8) Pencatatan laporan laba/rugi masih manual. Solusi untuk mengatasi permasalahan mitra yaitu: 1) Pendampingan pembuatan surat perjanjian minimal pembelian per tahun; 2) Pendampingan dan pelatihan kebersihan ruangan dan sterilisasi produk; 3) Pendampingan pengembangan usaha marketing online; 4) Pelatihan peningkatan branding produk perusahaan; 5) Pendampingan otomatisasi transaksi dan pembayaran virtual; 6) Pendampingan peningkatan literasi pengambilan keputusan keuangan. Beberapa point penting yaitu: 1) Mitra usaha mengalami peningkatan dalam hal produksi, kualitas produk, dan pelayanan; 2) Kegiatan pengabdian ini memberikan manfaat langsung bagi masyarakat yang membutuhkan mata palsu; 3) Proses pengabdian ini melibatkan partisipasi aktif dari mitra usaha dan masyarakat setempat; 4) Agar hasil dari pengabdian ini dapat berlanjut, penting bagi mitra usaha untuk terus menerapkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan yang telah diberikan.

Abstract

Mitra pengabdian masyarakat yaitu coffe shop Neira Kota Surabaya. Mitra Pemberdayaan Kemitraan Masyarakat (PKM) termasuk dalam mitra produktif secara ekonomi, Tujuan pengabdian masyarakat ini meliputi: 1) Pengembangan literasi mitra; 2) Peningkatan keterampilan mitra; dan 3) Penambahan aset mitra. Solusi yang ditawarkan pada pelaksanaan PPM ini yaitu: 1) Perancangan dan pembuatan mesin penggiling kopi; 2) Pelatihan, pendampingan, pengoperasian dan pemeliharaan mesin penggiling kopi; 3) Perancangan dan pembuatan mesin freezer pendingin es batu; 4) Pelatihan, pendampingan, pengoperasian dan pemeliharaan mesin freezer pendingin es batu; 5) Perancangan dan pembuatan daftar menu neon box; 6) Perancangan dan pembuatan kitchen sink ramah lingkungan; 7) Pelatihan dan pendampingan strategi perluasan segmentasi pasar; 8) Pelatihan dan pendampingan tentang klasifikasi risk management perusahaan; 9) Pendampingan dan pelatihan perhitungan laba/rugi secara mendetail; 10) Pendampingan dan pelatihan otomatisasi laporan keuangan. Metode pelaksanaan pengabdian dilakukan melalui: 1) Pelatihan; dan 2) Diskusi. Hasil pengabdian kafe ini membantu mengurangi jejak karbon dan limbah plastik yang dapat merusak lingkungan. Kehadiran kafe dengan konsep ramah lingkungan akan membantu meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat akan pentingnya menjaga lingkungan. Dampak signifikan pasca dilaksanakan pengabdian masyarakat adalah peningkatan keterampilan mitra sebesar 60%, peningkatan pengetahuan mitra sebesar 70% dari sebelum adanya pengabdian masyarakat. Abstract

The condition of community service partners is the coffee shop "Ketanba" which has a location on Jl. Manyar Kerta Adi II Blok Y-135 No. 41. The priority problems of partners that will be tried to be solved are: 1) Production Field and 2) Marketing Field. Problem Solutions: 1) Assistance and training in food and beverage presentation; 2) Assistance and training on how to maintain the availability of raw materials so that they are not easily exhausted; 3) Assistance and training on product hygiene; 4) assistance and training in expanding market segmentation; 5) Assistance and training in online marketing optimization. Based on the objectives of the activities that will be carried out as follows: 1) Increase in the amount of production; 2) Increase the amount of partner turnover; 3) Expansion of market segmentation. The methods of implementing the Community Partnership Program are: 1) Training; and 2) Discussion. The results of PKM activities are: 1) The increase in production time is more precise and tends to be fast by 20%; 2) Increase in production of raw material availability by 60%; 3) Increase in partner cleanliness by 10%; 4) Increasing partner skills in serving and expanding market segmentation by 20%; and 5) An increase in online marketing by 20%.

Abstract

This study evaluates the impact of the Unconditional Cash Transfer (UCT) policy in preventing stunting in Jember, East Java. Stunting, a result of chronic malnutrition, remains a significant public health challenge in Indonesia, with Jember exhibiting higher prevalence rates than the national average. The UCT policy aims to improve the welfare of low-income families by providing direct financial assistance, allowing them to meet basic needs, including nutrition. This research utilizes a qualitative approach through case studies and interviews with relevant stakeholders to assess the effectiveness of UCT in enhancing children's nutrition and health. The findings indicate that while UCT has a positive short-term impact on improving family income and child nutrition, challenges persist regarding the sustainability of these outcomes post-assistance. The study highlights the necessity for integrating UCT with nutrition education and access to quality health services to ensure long-term benefits. These results suggest that a holistic approach, combining financial aid with educational interventions, is crucial for effective stunting prevention. The implications of this study extend to policymakers, emphasizing the importance of a multifaceted strategy for combating malnutrition and fostering sustainable development.

Abstract

MSMEs contribute significantly to the national economy, but still face the challenge of low financial literacy, particularly sharia finance. This community service activity aims to improve MSMEs' understanding of digital sharia financial literacy, both regarding digital sharia financial products and the dangers of non-bank online loans and online gambling. Quantitative and qualitative methods were used in this MSME mentoring. In addition to distributing questionnaires using a linkert scale, educational interventions and interactive discussions were conducted to improve MSMEs' understanding of digital sharia financial literacy. The subjects who received mentoring were MSME business owners fostered by Rumah BUMN Sidoarjo. The results of this activity showed a significant increase in MSME understanding, reflected in four indicators after receiving mentoring. These indicators are knowledge of sharia financial products, interest in using sharia financial products, understanding the dangers of non-bank online loans, and understanding the dangers of online gambling. This activity proves that mentoring MSMEs through digital sharia financial literacy can improve MSME financial resilience in the digital era.

Abstract

The disparity between pace of economic growth and quality of human resources in urban areas such as Surabaya indicates a potential mismatch between policy interventions and actual workforce readiness. Therefore, assessing effectiveness of competency development policies is crucial to ensure sustainable and inclusive economic advancement. This study uses qualitative methods and data collection techniques through in-depth interviews, documentation, and observations of various stakeholders including local governments, business world, and educational institutions. Strategic Human Resource Management (SHRM) and Public Policy Theory are used as analytical frameworks to understand how HR policies are designed, implemented, and the challenges faced in the process. Results of the study show that although government has implemented various job training programs, existing policies still face obstacles in cross-sector coordination, lack of integration with industry needs, and limited program evaluation mechanisms. The business world tends to be less involved in policy formulation, while educational institutions face a gap between the curriculum and skills needed by the job market. To increase the effectiveness of policies, reforms in competency-based training systems are needed, strengthening synergies between the public and private sectors, and incentives for companies that invest in workforce development. The limitation of this study lies in the scope that is still limited to a qualitative perspective and has not measured the impact of the policy quantitatively. Therefore, further research is recommended to use a mixed-method approach to obtain a more comprehensive understanding and compare with other regions. With more strategic and evidence-based policy recommendations, it is hoped that the improvement of human resource competence can further contribute to the competitiveness of the workforce and economic growth in Surabaya.

Abstract

The importance of this community service activity is: 1) Seeking community involvement for the reduction of negative environmental impacts; 2) Increase the promotion of local innovation and creativity through the production of environmentally friendly products; 3) Increase the economic competitiveness of MSMEs in accordance with green economy principles; 4) Encourage sustainable economic recovery through activities that do not harm the environment and continue to prosper the surrounding community; 5) Creating an environmentally friendly community so as to achieve active collaboration between academics and the community. The objectives of community service activities are: 1) Increase environmental awareness; 2) Acceleration of MSME economic recovery; 3) Reduce negative impacts on the environment; 4) Encourage innovation and local research; 5) Promote sustainable tourism. The method of activity consists of two methods, namely: 1) Training; 2) Discussion. The stages of activity include: 1) Analysis of situations and problems; 2) Training and mentoring; 3) Capacity building; 4) Procurement of equipment; 5) Implementation of sustainable practices; 6) Monitoring and evaluation; 7) Dissemination of results. Measurement of the achievement of activity objectives through increasing turnover, increasing assets, increasing literacy and implementing activities. The results of the activities achieved are: 1) Increase in partner assets by 37.5%; 2) 150% improvement in partner skills; 3) 20% increase in turnover; 4) 75% increase in partner knowledge. Suitability of activity results based on research problems that have been solved.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the marketing strategy based on consumer behavior of Indosat Ooredoo users in the city of Surabaya. The main focus of the research is to understand consumer behavior in choosing and using telecommunication services, identify factors that influence consumer decisions, and formulate relevant marketing strategies based on consumer preferences and needs. This research uses a qualitative approach with data collection methods in the form of in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation. The informants consist of Indosat Ooredoo consumers and relevant internal parties. The results of the study show that consumer behavior is influenced by preferences for competitive pricing, network stability, service personalization, and digital experience through the MyIM3 application. The main factors that influence consumer decisions include price, network quality, digital innovation, and brand image. Based on these findings, recommended marketing strategies include adjusting data plans for specific market segments, improving network quality, strengthening digital features, and customer service responsiveness. This research has limitations in its limited scope to the city of Surabaya and a qualitative approach that relies on the subjectivity of the informant. Further research with a quantitative approach or a broader scope is recommended to provide a more comprehensive understanding.

Abstract

The rapid growth of amateur football clubs in Surabaya presents great opportunities for talent development and social cohesion, but it also comes with managerial challenges such as unclear organizational structure, lack of financial transparency, limited promotion, and the absence of operational standards for matches. This article presents the results of a community service program based on capacity building, designed to strengthen the managerial capacity of amateur football club managers in Surabaya. The activities focused on a one-day face-to-face workshop for representatives from 30 clubs, utilizing interactive lectures, local case studies, targeted discussions, and the distribution of practical handouts including organizational structure templates, code of conduct, one-page financial reports, content calendars, and matchday checklists. The core materials covered five areas: governance & legal, planning & OKR, finance & accountability, marketing & sponsorship, and operations & safeguarding. The program concludes that a brief, capacity-building workshop can trigger the initial professionalization of amateur football clubs through measurable, easy-to-adopt, and replicable minimum viable governance practices. These findings are relevant as a model for strengthening governance and management of amateur clubs in Indonesia, while also supporting a more professional, accountable, and sustainable community sports ecosystem.
