Abstract

Living life on earth as a human being is certainly not free from various challenges and problems. In our fragility, humans will always depend on God to prevent collapse when faced with life's challenges. For this reason, God's presence is crucial in human life and faith. Matthew 28:20B presents Jesus' narrative about His promise of presence to his disciples. Therefore, this study aims to highlight this promise of presence in a dialogue with the voices of the local community through the song "O Mawu Rendingane." This research was conducted using a qualitative method with a hermeneutic approach. Historical hermeneutics was chosen to analyze the biblical text, namely Matthew 28:20B. In the dialogue with the song "O Mawu Rendingane," Choan-Seng Song's Story Theology was chosen as the most appropriate theory. This research is expected to uncover new ways to read and understand Jesus' promise of presence contained in Matthew 28:20B. Furthermore, it is hoped that this dialogue will broaden the meaning of Matthew 28:20B.

Abstract

Perguruan tinggi Kristen berasrama menghadapi krisis spiritualitas remaja, alienasi iman, dan merosotnya peran dosen sebagai pembina rohani di era digital. Penelitian ini bertujuan merumuskan model transformasi peran dosen dari pengajar menjadi mentor spiritual yang aktif secara relasional dan kontekstual. Dengan pendekatan kualitatif studi pustaka, penelitian ini menganalisis literatur teologis dan pedagogis untuk membangun kerangka berbasis prinsip biblika dan pedagogi Kristen. Tinjauan menunjukkan adanya kekosongan kajian mengenai integrasi peran dosen sebagai mentor spiritual dalam kehidupan harian kampus. Pembinaan rohani selama ini cenderung normatif dan tidak menyentuh relasi mendalam. Hasil kajian menekankan pentingnya pembekalan dosen, reformulasi kurikulum iman, dan penguatan sistem mentoring institusional. Kebaruan penelitian terletak pada model mentoring berbasis praktik harian seperti interaksi informal dan keteladanan hidup, yang menawarkan paradigma baru pembinaan iman yang relevan bagi pendidikan Kristen berasrama.

Abstract

Sitou Timou Tumou Tou is a philosophy that lives in the life of the Minahasa people. This philosophy has existed for a long time and this philosophy was initiated by Gerungan Saul Samuel Jacob Ratulangi, with the intention that the Minahasa people uphold to love and love fellow humans. However, over time, the meaning of this philosophy began to shift from Minahasa society. This shift can be seen in several situations, where there is bullying between religions, different cultures, and even the same religion and culture, brawls between villages that cause casualties. This study aims to examine the meaning of the philosophy of Sitou Timou Tumou Tou, furthermore, connect the meaning of the philosophy with Christian values and integrate these values with the principles of religious moderation, and socialize this paper to one of the intended villages in Bolaang Mongondow North Sulawesi, then carry out a Group Discussion Forum in the village. To achieve this research goal, it is necessary to use appropriate research methods. The research method used is qualitative research method with a literature study approach and using the FGD method. The results of this study show that the human values contained in the philosophy of Sitou Timou Tumou Tou are in line with the human values contained in religious moderation. The philosophy of Sitou Timou Tumou Tou is rooted in Christian values contained in the Bible regarding the teaching of love for fellow humans.

Abstract

Learning management is a crucial strategy for enhancing educational services, particularly for out-of-school children. This study focuses on the Dinding community in Manado, which faces significant challenges in accessing education. The objective of this research is to analyze the learning management strategies that can be implemented in the non-formal education setting of the Dinding community. The research employs a qualitative methodology utilizing interviews and observations. The findings indicate that, although the Dinding community serves as a non-formal educational platform, learning management and classroom management are not markedly different from those in formal education. Each learning session concludes with an evaluation to assess the achievement of learning objectives, identify challenges faced, and collaboratively discuss potential solutions. Evaluations are conducted with the involvement of the teaching staff present at the time. The conclusion emphasizes the importance of adaptive and collaborative learning management as a strategic effort to provide better educational services for children in underserved communities. Recommendations are intended to offer insights for policymakers in designing inclusive and sustainable educational programs.

Abstract

Religious moderation teaches the importance of tolerance, dialogue, and mutual understanding among religious communities. In the context of Tumaluntung Village, religious moderation can serve as a solution to address the contestation surrounding the establishment of places of worship. With an inclusive and dialogue-based approach, it is hoped that conflicts and tensions can be minimized. However, implementing religious moderation is not without challenges. One of the greatest challenges is overcoming the distrust and prejudice that have already taken root in the community. Additionally, commitment from all parties, including the government, religious leaders, and the community, is essential to promote religious moderation.This research employs a qualitative method with a retrospective case study approach to examine religious moderation as a pathway to tolerance in the context of contestation over the establishment of places of worship in Tumaluntung Village, North Sulawesi. The objective of this study is to observe the dynamics of religious contestation in the establishment of places of worship in Tumaluntung Village, the factors influencing acceptance or rejection of these establishments, and the role of religious moderation in resolving conflicts that have arisen, thereby facilitating the establishment of places of worship in the village.The findings indicate that the efforts made by the government and the community of Tumaluntung Village have, in effect, practiced the values of religious moderation, which are also supported by the Minahasa philosophy of sitou timou tumou tou, which contains Christian values. In other words, the life of tolerance, mutual respect, and acceptance between different religions, along with a peaceful and harmonious existence that has been cultivated by the government and the community of Tumaluntung, reflects the integration of Christian values, the philosophy of sitou timou tumou tou, and the values of religious moderation.

Abstract

This article examines post-conflict Muslim-Christian relations in Indonesia, using communal trauma as the primary unit of analysis. The aim of this study was to show how trauma functions as a relational reality that forms patterns of segregation, latent prejudice, and possible interfaith encounters. This study employs a qualitative approach through narrative inquiry, analyzing the documentary film Beta Mau Jumpa as a narrative-theological text, supported by a literature review on interreligious conflict and trauma theology. The results show that post-conflict trauma does not stop as an individual experience but operates as a collective memory that shapes Muslim-Christian relations in an ongoing manner. The novelty of this research lies in the positioning of trauma as a locus theologicus in the study of interreligious relations. This article contributes to the development of contextual theology and religious education by offering a more sensitive theological framework to the experience of wounds and post-conflict reconciliation.

Abstract

Dalam sekolah tinggi teologi terdapat seorang pemimpin yang akan memimpin jalannya system Pendidikan sekolah tersebut. Namun, tidak dapat dipungkiri bahwa masih banyak para pemimpin Kristen yang masih menggunakan kepemimpinan otoriter yang tidak mengacu pada kepemimpinan yang Alkitabiah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji tentang model kepemimpinan Yesus dan implikasinya bagai pemimpin Kristen di sekolah teologi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif, dimana peneliti mengkaji tentang bagaimana kepemimpinan Yesus, pemimpin Kristen, kepemimpinan Yesus dapat menjadi model bagi pemimpin Kristen khususnya di sekolah teologi. Adapun hasil penelitian yaitu pemimpin Kristen di sekolah teologi layaknya menerapkan model kepemimpinan Yesus untuk rekan-rekan sekerjanya guna tercipta hubungan yang harmonis dan dapat bersama memajukan institusi. Adapun kepemimpinan Yesus meliputi: kepemimpinan sebagai pelayanan, kepemimpinan berlandaskan kasih. Artinya bahwa kepemimpinan bukanlah ajalah kesombongan, mencari nama atau ke-akuan, namun kepemimpinan Kristen adalah sebuah pelayanan untuk Dia, oleh Dia dan Bagi Dia yang diimplementasikan dalam sebuah organisasi, institusi, gereja.

Abstract

Tujuan penulisan ini adalah untuk menganalisa tradisi Mabaris’sa di GERMITA Sion Kalongan. Serta mendeskripsikan nilai teologis tradisi Mabaris’sa dalam meningkatkan rasa solidaritas di GERMITA Sion Kalongan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif menguraikan secara deskriptif, dengan menggunakan pendekatan etnografi realis yang dilaksanakan di jemaat GERMITA Sion Kalongan Wilayah 12 Kalongan 2024. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumen. Dari hasil analisis dan interprestasi data diperoleh indikasi bahwa pertama persepsi yang dimiliki oleh anggota jemaat mengenai tradisi Mabaris’sa sama, jemaat sudah memahami akan tradisi Mabaris’sa. Kedua kajian teologis tentang tradisi Mabaris’sa dalam meningkatkan solidaritas ini pun membuktikan bahwa tradisi dan agama memanglah merupakan suatu hal yang saling berhubungan. Kesolidaritasan Kristiani terwujud dalam kemurahan hati, pengampunan, rekonsialisasi, dan persahabatan. Ini telihat ketika tegur sapa satu diantara lain menjadikan tradisi Mabaris’sa lebih bermakna secara teologis sebab semua kalangan sama-sama menjadi satu kesatuan dalam tradisi Mabaris’sa. Dari hasil temuan tersebut maka direkomendasikan untuk gereja agar bisa mengupayakan untuk memberikan perhatian secara khusus pada tradisi ini, mulai dari meningkatkan pemahaman jemaat, hingga membuat aturan-aturan khusus yang tegas dalam pelaksanaan tradisi Mabaris’sa dalam perayaan gerejawi. Sehingga dampak dari tradisi ini memanglah jelas mampu meningkatkan solidaritas diantara jemaat sehingga mencerminkan perayaan Kristen yang sesungguhnya dan berkenan dihadapan Tuhan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menganalisis perkembangan makna qadosh (קָדוֹשׁ) dalam hukum Taurat dan implikasinya terhadap konsep kekudusan dalam Perjanjian Baru. Dalam Perjanjian Lama, qadosh digunakan dalam berbagai konteks, termasuk kekudusan Tuhan, tempat ibadah, umat Israel, dan hukum ritual. Pergeseran konsep ini terlihat dalam Perjanjian Baru, di mana kekudusan (hagios, ἅγιος) tidak lagi berfokus pada status hukum atau ritual, tetapi menjadi bagian dari identitas spiritual orang percaya melalui iman kepada Kristus. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan semantik, leksikal, dan taksonomi untuk mengklasifikasikan makna qadosh dalam berbagai kategori teologis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kekudusan dalam Perjanjian Lama menekankan pemisahan dari hal yang najis secara hukum dan ritual, sedangkan dalam Perjanjian Baru, kekudusan dipahami sebagai transformasi etis dan spiritual yang diberikan melalui anugerah keselamatan dalam Kristus. Temuan ini memberikan perspektif baru dalam studi biblikal dengan mengisi kesenjangan penelitian sebelumnya yang lebih banyak menyoroti aspek teologis tanpa pendekatan linguistik yang mendalam.
