Abstract

Abstract. Tomatoes image acquisition in outdoors condition results in an image that cannot be processed because of lighting variation on the glossy surface. Lighting variation is one of the problems in image processing because the resulting color values on tomatoes is lost from the affected area due to lighting variation. This research is meant to improve the image of tomatoes with lighting variations in the preprocessing stage. Segmentation methods proposed to detect and eliminate lighting variation is marker-controlled watershed with Arimoto entropy. After eliminating the detected area with lighting, tomatoes image are improved in three ways, namely by applying RGB average, searching the value of pixels with pixels index, and using a moving window with various kernel sizes. The error segmentation of the proposed method is by 36.67%, which better than the previous method. The best results tomato image enhancement is by using a moving window with a kernel size 15x15.Keywords: arimoto entropy, image enhancement, marker controlled watershed, preprocessing, segmentation.  Abstrak. Pengambilan citra tomat di luar ruangan mengakibatkan citra tidak dapat langsung diproses karena memiliki variasi pencahayaan pada permukaannya yang glossy. Variasi pencahayaan merupakan salah satu masalah dalam pemrosesan citra tomat karena mengakibatkan hilangnya nilai warna yang dimiliki area yang terkena variasi pencahayaan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk memperbaiki citra tomat yang terdeteksi memiliki variasi pencahayaan pada tahap preprocessing. Metode segmetasi yang diusulkan pada penelitian ini untuk mendeteksi dan menghilangkan area variasi pencahayaan adalah marker controlled watershed dengan arimoto entropy. Setelah menghilangkan area yang terdeteksi memiliki pencahayaan, citra tomat diperbaiki dengan tiga cara, yaitu dengan rata-rata RGB tomat, pencarian nilai piksel dengan indeks piksel, dan menggunakan moving window dengan berbagai ukuran kernel. Eror segmentasi dari metode yang diusulkan sebesar 36,67%, yaitu lebih baik dari pada metode sebelumnya. Hasil perbaikan citra secara visual menunjukkan hasil yang paling baik dengan menerapkan perbaikan citra menggunakan moving window dengan ukuran kernel 15x15.Kata Kunci: arimoto entropy, marker controlled watershed, perbaikan citra, preprosesing, segmentasi.

Abstract

Kegiatan yang dilakukan merupakan sosialiasi penggunaan software pengolah nilai siswa dan penggunaan software pendataan guru dan siswa berbasis database. Software berbasis database dibangun menggunakan microsoft access. Software pengolahan nilai dapat mempermudah wali kelas untuk melakukan perangkingan dalam satu kelas di mata pelajaran yang sama. Tujuan adanya perangkingan ini adalah untuk memberikan reward kepada siswa yang memiliki prestasi. Sehingga siswa tersebut dapat termotivasi untuk terus meningkatkan prestasinya dan dapat memotivasi teman-teman lain untuk lebih berprestasi.

Abstract

Seasoning is one of the most important elements in a dish. Indonesian herbs or spices have a very wide variety of types. Mistakes in choosing spices have a big effect on the taste of the dish. Image processing is a branch of science in the field of technology that can be used to recognize image objeks captured by the camera. This study will classify the types of spices that are almost similar, namely ginger, galangal, turmeric and kencur. The classification method used is K-Nearest Neighbor (K-NN). In this study we tested how to split training data and data testing, namely 66.7%: 33.33%, 75%: 25% and 90%: 10%. The sharing of training data and testing data uses 90%: 10% has the greatest average accuracy compared to other distribution methods. The selection of K = 3 or K = 5 has an average accuracy that is almost the same in all methods of split training data and testing data, namely 64.66%: 65%. At K = 1 it has a fairly high accuracy compared to the previous K, which is 73%.

Abstract

ABSTRAKMata pelajaran pemrograman merupakan salah satu mata kuliah kosentrasi atau jurusan di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK)  atau perguruan tinggi berbasis komputer. Mata kuliah pemrograman menjadi salah satu kesulitan yang dihadapi siswa-siswi maupun mahasiswa dalam menempuh pembelajaran sesuai kosentrasi atau jurusan mereka. Hal ini sangat kontradiksi dengan jurusan yang mereka ambil sehingga perlu di ujicoba pengembangan pedagogi pengajaran untuk menunjang motivasi belajar dalam pemrograman. Pengembangan pembelajaran menjadi sangat penting karena selain kita berada pada abad teknologi yang membutuhkan lebih banyak aplikasi yang harus dikembangan untuk membantu kehidupan manusia. Pengembangan pedagogi pengajaran juga digunakan untuk menumbuhkan motivasi belajar pemrograman agar siswa-siswi atau mahasiswa dengan jurusan atau kosentrasi computer bisa menyukai mata pelajaran pemrograman dimana pada akhirnya menunjang kualitas lulusan yang dihasilkan sesuai bidangnya. Dalam pengembangan pedagogi pada pengabdian masyarakat yang dilakukan di SMK Nasional Malang dilakukan dengan melakukan pre test pertanyaan kuesioner sebelum dan sesudah diadakannya pelatihan pembuatan prototipe aplikasi menggunakan software instan PROTO IO. Hasil yang didapat dari analisis kuesioner didapatkan peningkatan motivasi belajar pemrograman sebesar 76,67% dan peningkatan motivasi minat menjadi programmer sebesar 16,66%. Kata kunci: pedagogi, pemrograman, motivasi belajar, aplikasi ABSTRACTProgramming lesson is one of the concentration courses or majors in Vocational Schools (SMK) or computer-based colleges. Programming lesson become one of the difficulties faced by students according to their concentration or their majors. This is very contradictory with their majors so that  it is necessary to test the development of teaching pedagogy to support learning motivation in programming lesson. The development of learning is very important because besides we are in the technology era that requires more applications that must be developed to help human life. The development of teaching pedagogy is also used to foster motivation to learn programming lesson so students with majors or concentrations of computers can like programming lesson which ultimately support the quality of graduates produced in their fields. In the development of pedagogy on society service carried out in SMK Nasional Malang, questionnaire were conducted before and after the training on making prototype applications using PROTO IO with instant software. The results obtained from questionnaire showed that an increase in programming learning motivation with 76.67% and an increase in motivation to become a programmer of 16.66%. Keywords: pedagogy, programming, learning motivation, application

Abstract

One of the capabilities that need to be updated in the era of the COVID-19 pandemic is the ability to utilize technology to disseminate information and communication. In disseminating information, it is necessary to have a media that supports the delivery of information, one of which is design media. Canva is a graphic design application that can help design, create, and edit designs for beginners. These designs can be in the form of greeting cards, posters, brochures, infographics, and even presentations. The service is carried out in partnership with the Mahardika Vocational School of Karangploso. The training material on designing using Canva is focused on poster design. This activity takes place with the transfer of knowledge and technology in the form of Canva training in designing more attractive posters. There are three sessions in the training, an introduction and understanding session, an implementation session, and a training simulation session. The training is carried out through online meetings using the Zoom Meeting application. The training was attended by 27 participants who were students of the Mahardika Vocational School of Karangploso. The evaluation results obtained from the google form score showed an average score of 8.4. These results indicate a positive response from the participants

Abstract

Grouping of tomato maturity level is one way to pay attention to the quality of the tomatoes. The traditional way takes a long time and low accuracy, since the determination of the level of subjectively assessed. In addition, the importance of the classification of the level of maturity of tomatoes due to a period of tomato maturation process is relatively quick, so it can reduce the risk of rotting tomatoes. The dataset used in this study was 108 tomato image taken using three types of smartphones. The dataset is divided into 66 training data and testing the data 42. Improvements to the image preprocessing stage is done with adaptive histogram equalization and compared with the histogram equalization. In the feature extraction using color features of the R, G, and A *. The classification of the level of maturity of tomato is done by comparing the accuracy of using multi-SVM and KNN. In the Multi-SVM method using the highest percentage of kernel functions RBG is equal to 77.84%. While the method kNN highest percentage was 77.79% using a value of k = 3.

Abstract

Dampak merebaknya Corona Virus Disease (Covid-19) langsung dirasakan pada semua lini pendidikan, mulai dari TK bahkan sampai perguruan tinggi. Berbagai institusi serta tenaga pengajar melakukan pelatihan untuk mengasah kemampuan dalam memanfaatkan aplikasi demi mendukung kegiatan belajar mengajar atau presentasi secara online. Salah satu aplikasi yang dapat digunakan dalam mendukung proses belajar mengajar adalah mentimeter. Fitur utama dalam mentimeter yaitu menciptakan presentasi interaktif, melakukan voting, mengumpulkan data, dan pendapat dari para peserta dengan menggunakan smartphone atau PC. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilakukan secara online dengan menggunakan zoom meeting. Pada saat pengabdian kepada masyarakat pemateri menggunakan metode ceramah, tanya jawab, diskusi, dan demonstrasi. Peserta dari pengabdian yang dilakukan adalah tenaga pengajar yang berjumlah 30 orang. Pada akhir pelatihan dilakukan evaluasi terhadap pelatihan mentimeter penilaian berupa tingkat kemanfaatan mentimeter sebesar 8,6. Penyajian materi mentimeter mendapatkan nilai rata-rata 7,6. Peserta akan mereferensikan training ini untuk orang lain mendapatkan nilai rata-rata 8,2. Dengan adanya training ini, peserta rata-rata ingin mengikuti training lagi dengan nilai rata-rata 8,5.

Abstract

Kegiatan Pariwisata merupakan salah satu kegiatan yang dapat mempengaruhi tingkat perekonomian suatu negara. Kegiatan pariwisata yang dapat menarik minat wisatawan mancanegara masuk ke Indonesia menjadi salah satu kontribusi pendapatan untuk Negara Indonesia. Berdasarkan data dari BPS menunjukkan adanya penurunan yang signifikan dari jumlah wisatawan mancanegara yang datang ke Indonesia. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk membentuk kelompok negara-negara berdasarkan jumlah wisatawan mancanegara yang masuk ke Indonesia dari yang paling banyak hingga yang paling sedikit. Kemudian hasil pengelompokkan tersebut dapat digunakan sebagai acuan pemerintah untuk menerapkan strategi yang tepat untuk meningkatkan antusias wisatawan datang ke Indonesia. Algoritma yang digunakan untuk proses clustering adalah K-Means dan K-Medoids, dengan menerapkan nilai k=2, k=3, dan k=5. Proses evaluasi digunakan metode davies bouldin index. Hasil cluster terbaik dalam kasus ini adalah dengan menggunakan Algoritma K-Means dengan k=5, dan dengan hasil nilai davies bouldin index -0.302.

Abstract

Purpose: This research addresses increasing online sales competition and the use of SEO techniques, focusing on UD Bima Baru's Instagram. Method: This study employs a mixed-method research approach. The research design involves a combination of qualitative and quantitative elements to comprehensively investigate the impact of SEO techniques on online sales via Instagram. Data collection encompasses surveys, website traffic analytics, and content analysis of the Instagram account. Statistical analysis and content coding are utilized to derive meaningful insights from the collected data. Practical Applications: Our findings offer practical advantages, enhancing online visibility, engagement, and sales benefiting businesses across industries. Conclusion: This research highlights SEO's effectiveness in boosting visitor traffic and sales, offering actionable insights for thriving in the digital marketplace.

Abstract

This study examines an expert system for assessing student career paths based on interests and competencies. This approach is intended to assist Informatics Engineering students in identifying a career trajectory that aligns with their profile. This system is anticipated to be an effective solution, given the growing demand for students to receive pertinent career guidance, as numerous students encounter difficulty in selecting a career path that aligns with their competencies. This expert system is developed by aggregating data concerning students' interests and skills, thereafter processed through the forward chaining approach to align facts and rules inside the knowledge base. Furthermore, the certainty factor approach is employed to assess the degree of certainty for each career recommendation provided. The algorithm can generate pertinent career recommendations depending on the student profile and the degree of certainty of the results. The system is evaluated against expert suggestions to verify the accuracy and relevance of the outcomes. The testing of several datasets indicates that the algorithm can deliver career suggestions aligned with expert outcomes. The findings indicate that 100% of the test outcomes align with the validation results provided by experts. So, this system can be a useful tool that helps students choose a job path and can also help with career counseling at schools.
