Abstract

This data article presents an analysis of 100 journal articles on digital forensics and "organization & administration" within the realm of law, collected from Lens.org spanning 2012 to 2022. The study aimed to quantify the presence of articles related to these keywords, revealing the University of Edinburgh as the top institution and political science as the most active field. Eoghan Casey and Olivier Ribaux emerged as prolific authors, while the United Kingdom stood out as the most active country, and Elsevier as the primary publisher. Abstract

This research delves into the pervasive issue of cyber abuse within the realm of cyber law, employing data from Lens.org to unravel critical insights. By searching scholarly works using keywords "Cyberlaw OR Cyber Law AND Abuse" and filtering the results to focus on the legal category, a comprehensive dataset comprising 22,138 journal articles was curated. The study sheds light on the evolution of cyber abuse from 2015 to 2020, indicating a persistent concern despite slight declines in recent years. Psychology emerged as the primary field of study, with 6,971 journals dedicated to the topic, followed closely by Criminology and Sociology. The most active institutions in addressing abuse-related subjects include Deakin University, University of Nebraska, School of Law, and University of Washington. Noteworthy trends were observed in the geographical distribution of research efforts, emphasizing the global impact of cyber abuse. The data also uncovered a prolific scholarly output, with institutions and authors actively contributing to the discourse. This dataset serves as a crucial resource for legal scholars, policymakers, and law enforcement agencies, offering deep insights into the multifaceted challenges of cyber abuse and paving the way for informed legal reforms and social interventions. It began with 1,112 results, filtered down to 924 journal articles, further refined to 15 documents within 2002-2012 in the realm of "Law." Notable institutions include Katholieke Universiteit Leuven and Goethe University Frankfurt, with two documents each. The most prolific year was 2010, with ten documents in "Medicine." Active institutions encompassed various subjects. Key authors were Frank Ramsthaler and Guy Willems, each contributing two documents. Abstract

This data article presents a comprehensive analysis conducted on Lens.org, focusing on documents related to E-commerce and Retailing. By employing keyword searches like "e-commerce AND Retailing," we retrieved a total of 19,091 documents. Subsequently, filtering for journal articles and conference proceedings resulted in 12,867 relevant documents. The study highlights key findings: London Queensland University of Technology stands out with 83 documents, while the peak scholarly output occurred in 2019 with 1,215 journal articles. Business emerged as the dominant field of study, encompassing 5,365 documents. Active institutions like University of Pennsylvania and Cardiff University explored Economics and Business, contributing significantly. Yogesh K Dwivedi emerged as the most prolific author, producing 45 documents. Notably, the study reveals a seminal work titled "Golden Eggs and Hyperbolic Discounting" in 1997, accumulating 4,964 accessible documents. The United States led in active contributions with 2,067 documents. Elsevier emerged as the top publisher, producing 2,076 documents, including the SSRN Electronic Journal. This dataset serves as a valuable resource for researchers delving into the intersection of E-commerce and Retailing, offering insights into trends, prolific authors, and institutional contributions. In this study, we examine the multifaceted landscape of online business workforces, encompassing roles in website development, marketing, sales, and customer service within internet-based companies.
