Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat berupa pelatihan bagi kelompok penyelenggara pemungutan suara (KPPS) untuk mencegah praktik curang dan dampaknya terhadap hasil pcmilihan. kcgiatan ini bcrtujuan untuk mcmbcrikan pcngctahuan, kctcrampilan, dan ikap dalam menjalankan tugas scbagai penyclcnggara pcmilihan. Pclatihan ini penting untuk pendalaman teknis terhadap pelaksanaan tugas pada hari pemilihan. Sasaran kegiatan PKM ini adalah warga masyarakat gampong Pango Raya yang telah terpilih sebagai anggota KPPS. Pelatihan ini dilakukan dengan metode ceramah, demonstrasi dan latihan yang disertai tanyajawab. Metode ceramah digunakan untuk mcnjelaskan konsep pelayanan administrasi para calon pemilih. Metode demonstrasi dipakai untuk menunjukan bagaimana menangulangi situasi kondusip pada hari pcmilihan, sedangkan metode latihan untuk mempraktikkan pencatatan administrasi data pcmilih. Sementara metode tanya jawab untuk memberi kesempatan para peserta berkonsultasi dalam mengatasi kendala yang dihadapi. Manfaat yang dapat diperoleh peserta dari kegiatan PKM ini antara lain peserta secara praktis memperoleh pengetahuan, keterampilan, dan sikap sebagai petugas KPPS dalam melaksanakan tugas di Tempat Pemungutan Suara (TPS).

Abstract

Gampong Mampree, yang terletak di Kecamatan Tiro Kabupaten Pidie, memiliki potensi sumber daya alam dan budaya yang besar. Gampong ini menghadapi berbagai tantangan, seperti keterbatasan infrastruktur, minimnya akses pendidikan, sering terjadi konflik satwa liar dan rendahnya tingkat pemberdayaan ekonomi masyarakat. Atas kondisi tersebut, program KKN hadir sebagai bentuk  kontribusi  nyata  mahasiswa untuk  mendukung pembangunan di  Gampong ini. bertujuan untuk memberikan solusi atas permasalahan lokal tersebut melalui penerapan program yang relevan dengan program penguatan kapasitas untuk kelompok masyakarat melalui pengembangan ekonomi kreatif, edukasi kesehatan, pelatihan teknologi, dan peningkatan kualitas lingkungan. Agenda KKN ini berupaya memberdayakan masyarakat agar mampu mandiri dalam mengelola potensi yang dimiliki sehingga di masa depan kelompok masyarakat gampong Mampree dapat berkembang mengikut perkembangan teknologi, lingkungan sehat dan masyakaratnya tumbuh sehat sebagaimana harapan masyarakat pada umumnya. Kata kunci: Penguatan Kapasitas, Kelompok Masyarakat, Mahasiswa Kuliah Kerja Nyata, 2025

Abstract

This study aims to map and analyze the Social Studies (IPS) curriculum for seventh-grade students, focusing on the integration of peace education values. The primary objective is to provide recommendations for strengthening the IPS curriculum to more effectively shape students' character based on peace values. This research employs a descriptive qualitative approach, with data analysis derived from the seventh-grade IPS textbooks published by the Research and Development Agency and Bookkeeping of the Ministry of Research and Technology. The content of these textbooks was mapped and analyzed to identify key themes, sub-materials, and the potential integration of peace education values such as solidarity, tolerance, and diversity. The analysis reveals that although the IPS textbooks do not explicitly emphasize peace education, several sub-materials implicitly reflect important values such as solidarity, cooperation, and respect for diversity. These materials demonstrate significant potential to further support peace education if integrated more systematically and explicitly into the curriculum. The study concludes that the IPS textbooks have substantial potential to strengthen peace education at the junior high school level. With further development, the IPS curriculum can serve a dual purpose: as a medium for knowledge transfer and as a tool for building strong character within the contexts of peace and social sustainability. The primary recommendation of this research is the need for a more explicit integration of peace education values into the IPS curriculum to foster the development of an inclusive, tolerant, and globally competent younger generation.AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk memetakan dan menganalisis materi ajar Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial (IPS) di kelas VII, dengan fokus pada integrasi nilai-nilai pendidikan damai. Tujuan utamanya adalah untuk memberikan rekomendasi penguatan kurikulum IPS yang lebih efektif dalam membentuk karakter siswa berdasarkan nilai-nilai perdamaian. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif, dengan analisis data yang diperoleh dari buku ajar IPS kelas VII yang diterbitkan oleh Balitbang dan Perbukuan Kemenristek. Materi ajar dipetakan dan dianalisis untuk mengidentifikasi tema utama, sub-materi, serta potensi integrasi nilai-nilai pendidikan damai seperti solidaritas, toleransi, dan keberagaman. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa meskipun buku ajar IPS belum secara eksplisit menekankan pendidikan damai, beberapa sub-materi secara implisit mencerminkan nilai-nilai penting seperti solidaritas, kerja sama, dan penghargaan terhadap keragaman. Materi-materi ini menunjukkan potensi yang besar untuk lebih mendukung pendidikan damai jika diintegrasikan secara lebih sistematis dan eksplisit dalam kurikulum. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa buku ajar IPS memiliki potensi signifikan untuk memperkuat pendidikan damai di tingkat Sekolah Menengah Pertama (SMP). Dengan pengembangan lebih lanjut, materi ajar IPS dapat berfungsi ganda: sebagai sarana transfer pengetahuan dan sebagai alat pembentuk karakter yang kuat dalam konteks perdamaian dan keberlanjutan sosial. Rekomendasi utama dari penelitian ini adalah perlunya integrasi yang lebih eksplisit dari nilai-nilai pendidikan damai dalam materi ajar IPS untuk mendukung pembentukan generasi muda yang inklusif, toleran, dan siap menghadapi tantangan global.

Abstract

The article addresses how the headman and the legislative members of the village in Aceh overcome issues in managing the village income and expenditure budget. Using a qualitative method, the article inductively analyzes the styles of the headman and the village legislature in dealing with issues regarding the village income and expenditure budget and examines the factors that influence their response styles. The data for this study consists of newspaper articles in local newspapers from 2014 to 2022. The findings identify two conflict resolution styles of headman and village legislature that are commonly used: unilateral action and seeking third-party intervention. Meanwhile, in the third style, measures for conflict resolution formulated through regulations do not feature in the newspaper reporting. Furthermore, the findings also identify some underlying causes for the conflict resolution styles that are used in this context, including mechanisms and actors. This study will contribute to the literature about post-conflict grassroot efforts in Aceh and formulate a more effective early warning system at the local level.AbstrakArtikel ini membahas tentang pola respons keuchik dan tuha peut terhadap konflik pengelolaan Anggaran Pendapatan dan Belanja Gampong (APBG). Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, artikel ini menganalisa secara induktif bentuk-bentuk respons keuchik dan tuha peuet terhadap konflik pengelolaan APBG sekaligus mengkaji faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi bentuk respons mereka. Data yang digunakan sebagai bahan analisis berasal dari pemberitaan surat kabar sejak 2014-2022. Studi ini mengidentifikasi dua model aksi yang paling sering digunakan oleh keuchik dan tuha peuet dalam konflik pengelolaan APBG, yaitu aksi unilateral (unilateral action) dan tindakan mencari bantuan intervensi pihak ketiga (third-party intervention). Sementara penyelesaian bersama (joint action) melalui langkah-langkah yang telah dirumuskan dalam sejumlah regulasi tidak muncul dalam pemberitaan surat kabar. Selain itu, studi ini juga mengidentifikasi faktor utama yang menyebabkan model penggunaan resolusi konflik tersebut, yaitu absurditas mekanisme dan peran pasif dan tidak efektifnya para aktor pendamping gampong

Abstract

This study investigates the effects of implementing a crossword puzzle-based active learning model in Civics Education (PPKn) at SMA Negeri 2 Indrajaya. Persistent challenges with student engagement and low learning outcomes, often linked to long-standing lecture-based practices, motivated the intervention. Using a classroom action research approach over two cycles, the study involved Grade XI.1 students in collaborative crossword-solving activities designed to reinforce core subject concepts. Results showed that the proportion of students meeting the minimum competency standard increased from 0% at baseline to 60% after the intervention. Classroom observations documented more equitable participation, higher motivation, and improved group collaboration. However, the model did not achieve the targeted mastery threshold of 75%. Several factors—including entrenched passive habits, varying levels of student readiness, and the limited intervention period—contributed to this gap. The findings highlight both the promise and the challenges of adopting active learning strategies in established classroom environments. Sustained teacher support, professional development, and ongoing adaptation will be essential for achieving broader and more durable impacts. Future research should explore long-term outcomes and the effectiveness of active learning models across diverse educational settings.

Abstract

Aceh, a post-conflict region in Indonesia, continues to face challenges in fostering social cohesion and reconciliation through education. Despite its crucial role in peacebuilding, peace education remains insufficiently integrated into the formal curriculum. This study investigated the systematic incorporation of peace education within the junior high school Social Studies curriculum in Aceh through a Research and Development (R&D) design. The research consisted of three phases: (1) curriculum mapping to identify opportunities for peace-related themes, (2) development of a structured peace education module, and (3) evaluation of its effectiveness through classroom observations, focus group discussions (FGDs), interviews, and pre- and post-tests involving 70 students and 9 teachers in Pidie Regency. Findings showed that values such as tolerance, mediation, and conflict resolution are implicitly present in existing materials but lack structured pedagogical integration. The developed module, validated by experts and teachers, significantly improved students’ understanding of peace concepts, empathy, and conflict resolution skills. Embedding peace education into existing curricula, rather than introducing it as a separate subject, proved more sustainable and contextually effective. The study highlighted the importance of comprehensive teacher training and supportive policy frameworks to enable large-scale implementation, this research supports Sustainable Development Goals (SDG 4 and SDG 16), advancing quality education, peace, and strong institutions. The model offers a scalable framework for integrating peace education into Social Studies curricula in other post-conflict regions.

Abstract

Nambo District is one of the coastal tourist destinations for the Kendari city community and its surroundings. As a tourist place, many mobilities of residents from outside enter the Nambo District area, making it vulnerable to the spread of the COVID-19 outbreak. In addition, there is still a lack of awareness of some people to implement the Healthy Living Community Movement, including the lack of knowledge of some people in utilizing and processing nutritious herbal plants into herbal medicines that can be used as traditional medicines in maintaining and improving health during a pandemic. The solution to this problem is counseling/socialization and education about using and strengthening efficacious herbal plants and making packaged herbal medicine (instant ginger), which are practical steps in maintaining and improving health during a pandemic and can have sold/economic value.

Abstract

Helminthiasis is a health problem that affects many children, especially elementary school. Helminthiasis can cause malnutrition because all nutrients are absorbed by worms, which will disrupt the mental and physical development of children, make children easily sick due to a decrease in their immune system, stunting or physical children become shorter and smaller than their peers, reduce children's intelligence and in some cases can also cause death in children. The purpose of this community service is the prevention and control of helminthiasis infection through the provision of mass preventive medicine for helminthiasis to prevent stunting in elementary school at Madrasah Ibtidaiyaah Nurul Magfirah Kendari. The method used, namely providing material about helminthiasis accompanied by giving deworming drugs to students. This service is in collaboration with the Health Team of Puskesmas Lepo Lepo Kendari.

Abstract

Tuberculosis (TB) is an infectious disease that can affect everyone, from infants, children, adolescents, to the elderly and causes morbidity and mortality in more than 1 million people each year. The disease is caused by a pathogenic bacterium called Mycobacterium tuberculosis. The purpose of the service at BLUD UPTD Puskesmas Kandai is to educate the elderly community to know the infectious disease TB (TB) and the factors that cause it. The method used in this activity is the lecture method. In providing educational information about the introduction of TB (tuberculosis) infectious diseases using material in the form of power point soft files, after which a discussion or question and answer session is held between the elderly community and the speaker. The result of this activity is that the community can understand and know the symptoms and how to prevent TB (tuberculosis) disease.

Abstract

PHBS adalah semua perilaku kesehatan yang dilakukan karena kesadaran pribadi sehingga keluarga dan seluruh anggotanya mampu menolong diri sendiri pada bidang kesehatan serta memiliki peran aktif dalam aktivitas masyarakat. PHBS yang diterapkan sejak usia dini akan berdampak hingga dewasa kelak dalam kehidupan di masyarakat. Jika PHBS kurang diterapkan di sekolah maka dampak yang akan ditimbulkan yaitu terjadi penurunan prestasi dan semangat belajar, menurunkan citra sekolah, serta suasana belajar yang tidak mendukung karena lingkungan yang kotor, keadaan kelas yang kotor, banyaknya jajanan tidak sehat dan tempat pembuangan sampah yang tidak tertata akan menimbulkan berbagai macam penyakit. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini dimaksudkan untuk memberikan sosialisasi mengenai Perilaku Hidup Bersih dan Sehat (PHBS) di Sekolah kepada Siswa/siswi SDN 33 Kendari Kelas Satu (A,B,C). Melalui kegiatan sosialisasi ini memberikan informasi dan edukasi kepada Siswa/siswi SDN 33 kendari kelas satu (A,B,C) mengenai cara Perilaku Hidup Bersih dan Sehat di Sekolah dan kehidupan sehari-hari. Kegiatan ini dilakukan oleh dosen Fakultas Farmasi UHO dan mahasiswa profesi apoteker kelompok 15 Fakultas Farmasi UHO bekerjasama pihak perangkat Kepala sekolah SDN 33 Kendari, Kecamatan Abeli, Provinsi Sulawesi Tenggara. Hasil dari kegiatan sosialisasi dilakukan yaitu menambah pengetahuan dan pemahaman peserta terhadap perilaku hidup bersih dan sehat mengalami peningkatan dan peserta merasakan manfaat kegiatan edukasi ini dan akan berupaya untuk membudayakan perilaku hidup bersih dan sehat pada usia dini
