Abstract

RELIGIOUS TOLERANCE EDUCATION FOR ISLAMIC HUMANISM IN INDONESIA. This paper is organized as a response to the turmoil of religious conflicts in recent years in Indonesia. Islamic educational institution has the responsibility for the actual history of Islam so this nation can be a tolerant or intolerant nation. This study focused on: (1) Rediscovering Islamic educational orientation in Indonesia; (2) Analysing the causes of Islamic education in the perspective of theological insight of religious tolerance; (3) Offering the core values in Islamic education that are relevant for the development of Islamic humanism education in Indonesia. The research used philosophical and historical approaches because it involved a critical study and Islamic intellectual history in Indonesia. The  findings were that Islamic education needs to put the religious humanism as core values in its main orientation. While the education problems related to its goals, contents, methods and evaluation showed that the tendency highlighting aspects of sectoral-fiqhiyah was more than robbaniyyah universal aspect. It is necessary to have reorientation of Islamic education which take priority on morals including moral values of religious tolerance over fiqh like the treatises message of Prophet as a complement of humanism morals in people's lives.

Abstract

This paper discusses the responsibility of education in responding to natural disasters issues that occurred in the last ten years. Thereare three focus discussion in this paper are: (1) Why is it importanteducational innovation in the midst of global climate change?,(2) How does the educational innovation model that be relevantin responing the various natural disasters in this country, (3) Howdoes the process of curriculum innovation begins to contribute inpart to give an alternative solution for areas prone to disaster associo-cultural potential of each educational unit?. With a criticalanalysis of this paper finally concluded some important things:(1) Education was held not in empty space because it becomesa necessity curriculum innovations included in the deal with theissue of natural disasters by strengthening the awareness of theimportance of disaster mitigation, namely the efforts to reducedisaster risks, one of whom through awareness and capacitybuildingeffortsfacethethreatofnaturaldisasters,(2) Oneformofmitigation is the importance of trauma healing, namely minimizing trauma and post-disaster fear either for himself or another person;(3) Every teacher must be able to portray himself as the developerof the curriculum and as an innovator of curriculum so that eacheducational unit capable of formulating their own curriculum according to the potential of history, culture and geography of each(local genius).

Abstract

This article discusses the four focus of discussion: (1) House is a medium for training process for the love of books; (2) Family library as a sub-system for character education; (3) The alternative of design for family library; (4) Management of the Family Library. This article was written with the applied philosophy approach, therefore the fi rst part discussed the importance of the family library with the philosophical argumentation and end with an offer implementable how pioneered and developed a family library as a process of civilizing humanity through the instrument of family library. Recommendations of this article is that during most families when designing a house not made as part of the family library room space to be considered, then it is time to get up, that the family library is an important instrument in character education especiallay concerning the love of books and many sciences. With sciences we will prosper in the world and the hereafter.

Abstract

Inti dari ajaran Islam adalah tauhid dan nilai harmoni (Islam). Tulisan ini fokus pada kajian terkait teori pendidikan harmoni melalui pendidikan Islam di sekolahdan keluarga. artikel ini dimulai dari konsep pendidikan harmoni yang meliputi harmoni dari dalam, harmonisosial, dan harmoni alam. Selanjutnya mengkaji terkait pandangan Islam  terkait harmoni yang meliputi 4 dimensiyaitu (1) harmoni kaitanya hubungan manusia dengan Tuhan; (2) harmoni dengan diri sendiri; (3) harmonidengan masyarakat; dan (4) harmoni dengan lingkungan.Dengan memperkenalkan teori pendidikan harmoni baikIslam maupun non-Islam, diharapkan dapat memberikan sumbangan pada design kurikulum pembelajaran melalui pendidikan Islam dan menjadi salah satu materi pelajarandi sekolah Indonesia dan pendidikan keluarga.kata kunci: Integrasi, Pendidikan Harmoni, Sekolah,Keluarga.

Abstract

Artikel ini membahas tiga isu utama terkait kepahlawanan RA Kartini di Indonesia: (1) Apa saja pertimbangan politikpemerintah dalam menetapkan Kartini sebagai pahlawanannasional?; (2) Bagaimana arkeologi pemikiran Kartiniterbentuk sehingga dikenal sebagai tokoh emansipasiwanita di Indonesia?, (3) Mengapa spiritualisme Kartinicenderung tersembunyi?, Makalah ini ditulis berdasarkanpenelitian perpustakaan dengan pendekatan filosofis.Kesimpulan dari artikel ini adalah: (1) Penentuan Kartinisebagai pahlawan tak lepas dari kepentingan politik. (2)Telah terjadi intervensi dari orientalis yang mengesankanKartini sebagai seorang sekuler dan penganut feminis Barat.(3) Kartini adalah seorang Muslim yang kritis bahkan diatidak ragu-ragu untuk memberikan gugatan dan kritik tajamdari fenomena keagamaan yang kurang mendidik, termasukdalam pembelajaran dari Al-Qur’an. Hal ini telah benar benar mencapai tingkat tertinggi kesadaran Kartini sebagai “hambaAllah” yang anti-feodalisme dan kolonialisme.kata kunci: Kepahlawanan Kartini, Spiritualisme, kolonialisme, politik etis This article discusses three focus issues: (1) What kindsof political interest in deciding behind the heroism ofKartini?; (2) What is the archaeological thought of  Kartinidespite his heroic figure?, (3) Why does the spiritualismof Kartini inclined hidden behind the frenzied heroismKartini that tends to make it as an object of ethical politics of dutch colonialism? This paper was writtenbased on library research with philosophical approaches.Conclusions of this article are: (1) the determinationof Kartini as an hero could not be separated from thepolitical intrigues. (2) Due to the intervention of theOrientalist writer has impressed Kartini be secular andWestern feminist adherents. (3) Kartini is a Muslimcritical even she did not hesitate to give the lawsuit andsharp criticism of the religious phenomenon which doesnot educate, including the learning of the Qur’an. Abstract

Penelitian ini difokuskan pada tiga hal: (1) Apakah karakteristik lingkup isi Syi’ir Muslimat?, (2) Bagai-manakah kondisi sosial budaya pada saat naskah ditulis oleh penulis?, (3) Apa nilai-nilai pendidikan moral bagi perempuan Muslim di isi Syi’ir Muslimat dalam perspektif gender?. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan filologi dengan meningkatkan penggunaan analisis gender. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah: Pertama, Syi’ir Muslimat ditulis oleh Nyai Wanifah, seorang wanita yang hidup pada zaman kolonial Belanda dipesantren tradisi di Kudus, Jawa Tengah. Kedua, beberapa nilai pendidikan moral di Syi’ir Muslimatantara lain: (1) Pentingnya pendidikan moral, (2) Bahaya perempuan bodoh; (3) Pentingnya belajar bagi perempuan di usia dini, (4) Etika menghias diri; (5) Bahaya materialisme, (6) Etika hubungan keluarga; (7) Dari rumah untuk mencapai surga; (8) Berhati-hatilah dengan tipu iblis; (9) Hindari perzinahan; (10) yang penting dari penutupan aurot; (11) yang ditujukan kepada orang tua. Ketiga, meskipun ada beberapa senyawa yang bias gender dalam Syi’ir Muslimat misalnya: (a) Ada penjelasan yang menunjukkan bahwa perempuan lebih rendah dibandingkan laki-laki dalam derajat, (2) Pernyataan bahwa wanita bicara dibandingkan laki-laki, (3) wanita hanya cocok di wilayah domestik; Namun secara umum nasihat di syi’ir masih sangat relafen dalam konteks sekarang, terutama untuk memberikan solusi alternatif dalam merespon krisis moral bangsa terutama pada wanita generasi muda.Kata kunci: Syi’ir Muslimat, Pendidikan Karakter, Analisis Gender.This study focused on three things: (1) What is the characteristics of the scope of contents of Syi’ir Muslimat?, (2) What is the socio-cultural conditions at the time the manuscript was written by the author?, (3) What are the moral education values for Muslim women in the content of Syi’ir Muslimat in the perspective of gender?. This research uses a philological approach with enhanced use of gender analysis. The result of this study are: Firstly, Syi’ir Muslimat is written by Nyai Wanifah, a woman who lived during the Dutch colonial era in Islamic boarding schools (pesantren) tradition in Kudus, Central Java. Secondly, some of the moral education values in Syi’ir Muslimat among others: (1) The importance of moral education, (2) The danger of stupid women; (3) The importance of learning for women at early age, (4) Ethics decorated themselves; (5) The danger of materialism, (6) The ethics of relation the family; (7) From the house to reach heaven; (8) Beware the devil trickery; (9) Avoid adultery; (10) the important of closing aurot; (11) devoted to parents. Third, although there are some compounds that gender bias in Syi’ir Muslimat for example: (a) There is an explanation that shows that women lower than men in degree, (2) The claim that women are talkative than men, (3) Women only fit in the domestic sphere; however in general the advices in syi’ir is still very relafen in the present context, particularly to give alternative solution in responding the nation moral crisis especially in women young generation.Keywords:Syi’ir Muslimat, Character Education, Gender Analysis.

Abstract

Abstrak: Tulisan ini membahas tiga hal: (1) Bagaimana memahami hunian dalam rumah adat Kudus sebagai proses pendidikan harmoni gender? (2) Apa konteks sosial dari rumah adat Kudus? (3) Apa nilai-nilai pendidikan harmoni gender dalam pembangunan rumah adat Kudus? Makalah ini menggunakan pendekatan sosiologis terutama sosiologi post-strukturalisme yang dikombinasikan dengan interpretasi budaya. Kesimpulan dari makalah ini adalah: (1) Rumah adalah lingkungan terdekat manusia di mana di dalamnya ide-ide utama budaya diproduksi dan direproduksi untuk membentuk sistem makna. Kehadiran rumah adat yang sarat dengan ornamen-ornamen mencerminkan nilai-nilai moral yang dipegangi dan harus diwujudkan dan diimplementasikan. Nilai-nilai moral tersebut dipegangi dalam rangka membangun keharmonisan gender, hal ini penting karena dalam system hubungan antara penghuni rumah tidak dapat dipisahkan adanya hubungan antara laki-laki dan perempuan, (2) Nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter harmoni gender dalam keluarga yang tercermin pada simbol/makna dalam rumah adat (tradisional) dapat digunakan sebagai referensi (alternatif) praktek terbaik dalam harmoni gender dan sekaligus bisa menjadi acuan untuk pendidikan keluarga, karena di situ ada semangat kesetaraan gender, baik dalam hubungannya dengan Tuhan, dengan manusia, dan juga dengan lingkungannya. This paper discusses three things: (1) How to understand that the occupancy in the traditional house of Kudus as an educational process of gender harmony? (2) What are the social context of the traditional house of Kudus? (3) What are the values of gender harmony education in the construction of the traditional house of Kudus? This paper uses sociological approach especially on post-structuralism sociology in combined with cultural interpretation. The conclusions of this paper are: (1) The house is the most familiar human environment within the domestic sphere as in the home are the main ideas of culture are produced and reproduced to form a system of meaning. The presence of the traditional house is loaded with ornaments wrapped with the meaning of the existence of the system reflects the moral values ​​which way of life in occupied must be actualized and implemented. Then occupied in this case is as apprenticeships in building cultural harmony gender could not be separated because of the presence of occupants in the system of relations between men and women; (2) The Values ​​of character education in term of gender harmony in the family is reflected in the networks of meaning in the traditional house can be used as an alternative reference of best practices in a habitable and could well be a reference to float the family education because it also shows the spirit of gender equality both in relation to God, to human beings, to him/herself and also to interact with its environment. Despite these efforts would require appropriate adaptation and adjustment needs of the times and the context in which it was done family education. Abstract

Pandangan dunia (world view) umat Islam banyak dipengaruhi oleh Sunnah Nabi disamping tentu Al Qur’an sebagai sumber utama dalam Islam. Demikian juga dalam menyikapi kekayaan dan kemiskinan dalam orientasi hidup umat Islam. Artikel ini akan melakukaan telaah kritis atas doktrin hadis sebagai produk sunnah Nabi terkait implikasi kekayaan (harta) antara kelompok miskin/fakir dan kaya yang termaktub dalam sejumlah hadis terkait. Sebagai bagian dari proses takhrij, maka di dalamnya menganalisis kebersambungan sanad, kualitas individu perawi, hingga telaah matan. Kesimpulannya menunjukkan hadis terkait implikasi perenial dalam tahapan hisab ditemukan semua sanad yang muttas}il dan terhindar dari syaz| dan ’illat, sehingga sanad hadis ini adalah muttas}il-marfu‘, artinya sifat-sifat yang ada pada sanad dan cara periwatannya bersambung sampai kepada Nabi SAW. Dalam telaah perbandingan atas hadis yang hampir serupa dan memiliki informasi keadaan sosio-historis menunjukkan penegasan bahwa tahapan hisab (hari perhitungan) adalah suatu proses eskatologis yang dilewati setiap hamba. Bukan faktor fakir atau kaya yang menentukan seseorang masuk surga, tetapi untuk apa kekayaan tersebut dimanfaatkan bagi kehidupan yang bersifat perenialis.
