Abstract

The domination of the interpretation of the Koran that tends to gender bias has been continued until now. Therefore the presence of Wadud as a feminist thinker to be interesting discussed. This article is to track the social and intellectual background that affect her points of views in term of tafsir and its relevance for developing feminist tafsir in Indonesia. This paper used the philosophical and hermeneutical approach. The data were collected by the method of documentation and discussed with the content analysis. The conclusions among others that Wadud has given a contribution in breaking down the traditional interpretation of the Koran by offering a critical approach to interpret  the Koran based on the awareness of  tauhid and analyse the preor-text in the interpretive process. This model of tafsir can be developed in Indonesian tafsir that still be dominated by male commentators, therefore in a certain level still become gender biased. It can be reproduced becoming an alternative feminist tafsir   to build harmony sociaty in Indonesia.

Abstract

At the end of 2021, the President of the Republic of Indonesia has signed the formation of the National Commission for Disabilities (KND). They certainly need research data to support research-based policies. This article formulates the applied philosophy of disability-responsive Islamic higher education in Indonesia with a case study at IAIN Alaudin Makassar. This study uses a philosophical, phenomenological and educational policy approach. The data collected by observation, interviews and documentation were then analyzed with a philosophical and phenomenological perspective within the framework of education policy. This study concludes that the most important thing and is the main capital in building an inclusive campus is the issue of world view, namely the philosophical foundation that gives birth to the attitudes, behavior and culture of the campus community and society as a whole to build an inclusive campus for students with disabilities. With a philosophical vision of becoming a center for enlightenment and transformation of science and technology based on Islamic civilization, this is a curriculum idea that has the potential to be reconstructed into a curriculum document as a reference in curriculum implementation in achieving disability-responsive educational goals. This framework of thinking is part of an applied Islamic paradigm that is in line with the reasoning of the religion of peace or as a form of prophetic thinking paradigm based on theo-anthropocentric existentialist philosophy of  Islamic Religious Higher Education in Indonesia

Abstract

Tulisan ini merupakan catatan atas proses pemberdayaan yang dilakukanoleh peneliti dalam memberdayakan komunitas pemulung yang adadi kompleks Perumahan Sosial Pecinan, Hadipolo, Jekulo, KabupatenKudus dalam mengembalikan kuasa mereka terhadap madrasah diniyyahAl Muhajirin dengan menggunakan pendekatan Participatory Action Research (PAR). Dengan pedekatan PAR ini diketahui core problem yang menjadi penyebab stagnasi pembelajaran di Madin Al Muhajirin yaitu: 1) Ketergantungan guru/ustadz dari luar perumahan sehingga kuasa kelolaatas madrasah justru tak sepenuhnya dimiliki oleh warga perumahan;2) Tidak adanya struktur kepengurusan  madrasah yang jelas; 3)Kuatnya stigma negatif yang menghambat komunikasi antar kelompokdi masyarakat Perumahan Pecinan; 4) Terbatasnya dana operasional.Adapun hasil proses PAR diketahui bahwa komunitas pemulung,terutama pemudanya sesungguhnya memiliki potensi-potensi strategissebab sebagian sudah memiliki keilmuan yang mumpuni namun mereka kurang percaya diri. Setelah mengikuti berbagai program pelatihan, anak-anak muda pecinan menampakkan antusiasme dalam menggerakkanmadrasah Al Muhajirin.

Abstract

Kota Kudus disamping dikenal sebagai kota santri juga populer dengansebutan kota kretek. Namun belakangan terjadi Putus Hak Kerja (PHK)dari beberapa buruh rokok dimana banyak korbannya adalah buruhperempuan. Paper ini merupakan hasil riset partisipatif sebagai upayapemberdayaan terhadap komunitas perempuan korban PHK melaluipesantren Al Mawaddah Kudus. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalahParticipatory Action Research. Riset partisipatif ini menyimpulkanbahwa komunitas perempuan korban PHK pabrik rokok sesungguhnyamemiliki potensi-potensi strategis dengan etos kerja yang tinggi di tengahperan gandanya sebagai ibu rumah tangga dan sekaligus pekerja. Setelahmengikuti berbagai program pelatihan, komunitas perempuan korbanPHK menampakkan semangat hidup baru dengan mengembangkankecerdasan dan potensi-potensi lain yang selama ini mereka milikisehingga kegiatan-kegiatan yang selama ini mereka anggap sebagaipengeluaran bisa menjadi peluang usaha. Karena itu mereka seakanmendapatkan dunia baru dalam menatap masa depan lebih gemilangbersama keluarganya terutama setelah mereka memperoleh ketrampiantambahan melalui berbagai pelatihan.

Abstract

RELIGIOUS TOLERANCE EDUCATION FOR ISLAMIC HUMANISM IN INDONESIA. This paper is organized as a response to the turmoil of religious conflicts in recent years in Indonesia. Islamic educational institution has the responsibility for the actual history of Islam so this nation can be a tolerant or intolerant nation. This study focused on: (1) Rediscovering Islamic educational orientation in Indonesia; (2) Analysing the causes of Islamic education in the perspective of theological insight of religious tolerance; (3) Offering the core values in Islamic education that are relevant for the development of Islamic humanism education in Indonesia. The research used philosophical and historical approaches because it involved a critical study and Islamic intellectual history in Indonesia. The  findings were that Islamic education needs to put the religious humanism as core values in its main orientation. While the education problems related to its goals, contents, methods and evaluation showed that the tendency highlighting aspects of sectoral-fiqhiyah was more than robbaniyyah universal aspect. It is necessary to have reorientation of Islamic education which take priority on morals including moral values of religious tolerance over fiqh like the treatises message of Prophet as a complement of humanism morals in people's lives.

Abstract

This studies proposes the effect of variations concentration of cajupuut oil and magnetic field of attraction on internal combustion engine performance and flue gas emissions. The increasing demand for petroleum energy is increasing, in line with the rising levels of flue gas emissions produced using transportation and the industrial world. Therefore, environmentally friendly alternative fuels are needed. Because the availability of fossil fuels cannot be renewed and their existence is increasingly depleting. This problems can overcome by saving fuels consumption. One way to save fuels are by adding bio-additives from cajupuut oil and a magnetic field to the fuel line. This research uses a direct test method using tools like a chassis dynamometer and gas analyzer. Pertalite fuel is mixed with various concentrations of cajupuut oil, six cc, eight cc, and ten cc and with addition of a magnetic fields strength of 10,000 Gauss of the genio motorcycle fuel line. This research has found that influence of variation of concentration in cajupuut oil and the magnetic field of attraction significantly impact engine performance and flue gas emissions. A mixture of eucalyptus ten ml with a magnetic field of attraction produces the highest maximum power and torque of 8.35 Hp and 11.77 Nm, respectively. Meanwhile, CO emissions have a level of 0.1%, but the highest CO2 level is 9.6% compared to other concentrations.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui warga masyarakat Dukuh Jongso Desa Wotan Kecamatan Sukolilo Kabupaten Pati yang masih membuang sampah sembarangan dan juga untuk mengetahui Penegakan Peraturan Desa Nomor 07 Tahun 2020 tentang kebersihan lingkungan hidup oleh Pemerintah Desa Wotan Kecamatan Sukolilo Kabupaten Pati.Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekantan Non Doktinal atau yuridis Empiris atau / Sosiologis, untuk menggambarkan kondisi yang dilihat dilapangan secara apa adanya. Dalam pengumpulan data ini, Penulis / Peneliti menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi, terutama wawancara yang mendalam dengan informan yang dipilih dengan menggunakan Snow Ball atau secara berantai dalam mencari informasi dan mewawancarai orang hingga informasi telah dianggap cukup.Hasil penelitian ini nantinya dapat menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan Penegakan Peraturan Desa Nomor 07 Tahun 2020 tentang Kebersihan lingkungan hidup oleh Pemerintah Desa Wotan Kecamatan Sukolilo Kabupaten Pati belum bisa diwujudkan secara maksimal karena ada beberapa faktor yang melatar belakanginya yaitu karena faktor penegak hukum, faktor sarana atau fasilitas, faktor masyarakat dan budaya.

Abstract

Initiated by none other than education to defend humanity as a whole through physical and psychological dimensions. Therefore, education can not be reduced merely to deliver students a mere material satisfaction, while the value immersiaal as social, spiritual and transcendental. Therefore, the curriculum should be developed on the basis of social conditions, culture and history which is held up the process of education or it is called place-based education. This brief paper will try to indigenous community "Sedulur sikep" perspective or better known as Samin in scrutinizing the school children which is not sensitive to social phenomena such as natural disasters and the environmental sustainability. Important message of this paper asserts that the most basic education is delivered into the individual learners who have senses of curiosity, so they still learn though it is complete / graduate school at their level. So awareness of lifelong learning woke up and could open eyes and mind to always seek and find wisdom so that the parts coming civilized community will wake up.

Abstract

Intolerance, violence, riots, terror to religious leaders, hoax news, expressions of hatred, provocative issues, in the name of religion are sources of animosity between people and groups. This triggers national dimensions such as in Indonesia and even the world. Therefore this research focuses on national studies, which seeks to earthing the spirit of tolerance of teachings through the struggle of Sunan Kudus, which is implemented to the millennial generation, through interfaith communities and beliefs (Tali Akrab). This study uses phenomenological approach and content analysis by collecting data through observation, interviews and documentation from 2014 to 2018. The findings revealed that there was a the strengthening of tolerance value of Sunan Kudus era, which can be applied to Millennials through (Tali Akrab), where this activity can produce one of the efforts to strengthen religious tolerance.
