Abstract

The development of information technology has significantly increased the demand for reliable and stable internet network infrastructure, especially in higher education institutions. Universities require efficient network systems to support academic activities, digital learning, research, and administrative services. This research aims to design a network infrastructure using Gigabit Passive Ethernet Network (GPEN) technology at Universitas Dehasen Bengkulu. The previous network infrastructure relied on wireless radio point-to-point connections which often experienced interference caused by obstacles such as buildings, trees, and weather conditions. The proposed GPEN-based infrastructure is expected to provide a more stable and efficient network connection compared to the previous system. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D), which includes observation, literature study, and laboratory testing. Network design is implemented using MikroTik devices such as NetPower, GPEN11, and GPeR to extend Ethernet connectivity. The results of this study show that the GPEN network implementation provides better bandwidth stability, reduces interference problems, and improves overall network performance. Therefore, the GPEN-based infrastructure can be considered an effective solution for improving campus network connectivity at Universitas Dehasen Bengkulu

Abstract

Regional General Hospital (RSUD) Dr. M. Yunus Bengkulu is a government-owned health care facility with a strategic role in providing health services to the public, making employee discipline an important factor to maintain. The determination of disciplinary sanctions for employees at RSUD Dr. M. Yunus Bengkulu is still carried out manually based on recorded violation data, which requires a relatively long time and has the potential to create subjectivity in decision making. This study aims to apply the data mining method using the K-Nearest Neighbor (K-NN) algorithm to classify employee disciplinary sanctions based on five assessment attributes, namely years of service, number of tardiness incidents, number of unexplained absences, SOP violations, and service ethics violations. The system was developed using the Waterfall development method and implemented as a web-based application using the PHP programming language and MySQL database. Testing was conducted on 20 training data and 20 testing data using a K value of 5, calculated from the square root of the number of training data. The test results show that the K-Nearest Neighbor algorithm is able to classify employee disciplinary violation data into four sanction categories, namely no sanction, verbal warning, written warning, and disciplinary sanction, with an accuracy rate of 90%. Black box testing results also show that all system functions run according to requirements. This research is expected to help the management of RSUD Dr. M. Yunus Bengkulu make decisions on employee disciplinary sanctions in a more objective, consistent, and measurable manner.

Abstract

Evaluating the performance of company leaders is an important process in determining leadership effectiveness and organizational success. Performance assessments that rely on subjective judgments often lead to less accurate decision-making results. Therefore, a systematic and objective decision-making method is required. One method that can be used is the Additive Ratio Assessment (ARAS) method. ARAS is a multi-criteria decision-making method used to determine the best alternative based on the utility value obtained from each evaluation criterion. This study aims to implement the ARAS method in a decision support system to evaluate the performance of company leaders. The research process involves several stages, including determining evaluation criteria, assigning weights to the criteria, normalizing the decision matrix, calculating optimal values, and determining utility values. The criteria used in this study include leadership, decision-making ability, communication, responsibility, and organizational performance. The results of the study indicate that the ARAS method can provide objective and systematic evaluation results in determining the best leadership performance. With the implementation of a decision support system based on the ARAS method, companies can obtain more accurate evaluation results that can be used as a basis for decision-making in leadership development and improving the quality of company management

Abstract

Abstract—The necessities of life force people to work to fulfill their daily lives. In general, humans work during the day and rest at night. A lot of time spent working requires humans to rest to recover their physical condition. Sleep is an important phase in daily activities that is useful for balancing human life. Everyone's sleep needs are different. Many people are long-sleepers who need 9 to 10 hours of sleep a night while others are short-sleepers who only need less than 6 hours of sleep each night. Long sleep is not always associated with sleep disturbances. Besides that most people are not medically trained, therefore the authors intend to design an "expert system for diagnosing sleep disorders using the web-based forward chaining method" which can be accessed via http://puskesmastelagadewa.com/. This application is expected to be used by the community in early diagnosis as a prevention of more severe disease. This system is designed using the PHP programming language and MySQL database, the resulting expert system is able to help patients diagnose sleep disorders while providing solutions to the disease. From the test results, it is obtained that 100% functionality runs according to system requirements. In the system testing carried out at the Telaga Dewa Health Center UPTD, Bengkulu City, symptoms and diseases were obtained from 7 existing sample data.

Abstract

Abstract: Forecasting is an analytical technique that uses historical data as input to make informed forecasts to determine the direction of future trends. Forecasting can be used for business actors to be able to manage and organize sales strategies and inventory in the following month or year. Ficus Bengkulu Pharmacy is one of the pharmacies in the city of Bengkulu which sells various types of medicines, both prescription and non-prescription. The processing of drug sales data is still conventional, so when pharmacists want to know drug sales and drug supplies they have to look at the records from the book so it takes a very long time. Therefore, an inventory application is needed that is able to record drug records and provide recommendations in the form of forecasting to maintain and control drug use and drug demand which is carried out every month. The forecasting method used is the Straight Line Model Method. Based on the implementation of Tremenza drug sales data for 2021, the results for forecasting Tremenza drug sales in 2022 are obtained every month from January to December 2022, where the average value of sales forecasting results per month is 1041 and an increase of 4.83% from average sales per month in the previous year.

Abstract

The Department of Agriculture, Food Crops, Horticulture and Plantations of Bengkulu Province has collected data on agricultural commodities in each Regency/city in Bengkulu Province which are recapitulated annually, but at the Department of Agriculture, Food Crops and Horticulture and Plantations of Bengkulu Province there is no system that can be used to classify agricultural yield data for each of these various commodities so that it is difficult to obtain information on potential harvest-producing agricultural areas in Bengkulu Province for each commodity. Therefore, a system is needed that can help provide information on the results of grouping agricultural data for each commodity so that it can be known which regency/ cities are categorized as potential crop producers in Bengkulu Province based on harvest area (Ha), production (Ton) and productivity (Ku / Ha). The implementation of K-Medoid Method in classifying agricultural data at the Department of Food Crops, Horticulture and Plantation of Bengkulu Province can provide information on the results of grouping data on agricultural areas that have potential crop yields for the last 1 year in Bengkulu Province, and can be used as a reference in providing assistance from the Department of Food Crops, Horticulture and Plantation of Bengkulu Province. From the results of clustering using the K-Medoid Method, it was found that Rejang Lebong Regency area had high yield potential (cluster 1) in all three commodities (rice, corn, and peanuts), while the Mukomuko Regency, Kepahiang, Central Bengkulu, and Bengkulu City areas had low yield potential (cluster 2) in all three commodities (rice, corn, and peanuts).

Abstract

SMKN 6 Bengkulu City is one of the public vocational high schools in Bengkulu City. So far, the process of selecting outstanding students is only seen from the results of report cards by summing up all the grades per subject obtained by students, and then ranking them. This is certainly less effective in determining outstanding students, because it must be supported by other aspects such as the value of student attitudes during the teaching and learning process, student attendance, academic and non-academic achievements. The purpose of this research is to implement the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method in determining outstanding students at SMKN 6 Bengkulu City. Therefore, in this study an application was built that can be used as a forum in determining outstanding students at SMKN 6 Bengkulu City. The implementation of Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method in determining outstanding students at SMKN 6 Bengkulu City can assist schools in determining outstanding students in every school year, where the final score will be sorted from the highest score to the lowest score to get the achievement rank of each student, where the assessment parameters/criteria used are the average report card score, attitude score, attendance percentage, number of academic achievements, and number of non-academic achievements. Based on sample data of student assessments at SMKN 6 Bengkulu City, used for calculations through the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) Method for 2022/2023 Odd Period as many as 10 students of class X, the results of outstanding students were taken from the highest score, namely M. Fadhil Dwiki Rahmadan with a score of 78.31956

Abstract

Abstract-The creditworthiness assessment carried out by the company is currently still conventional, namely still in paper form, so that Credit Analyst takes a long time to process data and analyze the large amount of incoming credit applicant data, so it does not rule out the possibility of miscalculations, errors in reading data, and others. In addition, the biggest obstacle is the difficulty in finding or storing archives that have been stored. As well as problems in making reports that are late sometimes also hamper the delivery of information to company leaders. For this reason, a technique that is capable of classification is needed. One of the algorithms included in the classification is Naïve Bayes. The system implementation uses Visual Basic.Net programming language and the method used in this research is waterfall method. The waterfall method is able to analyze the needs used to find out from weaknesses of the old system, then make a design and continue with the design of the new system. The conclusion from the results of this study explains that the process of classifying consumer eligibility with the Naïve Bayes method first goes through the training process. Prediction results are also strongly influenced by the amount of data that is trained and the probability value in this method.

Abstract

Toko My Lova in Bengkulu City is one of the retail businesses engaged in the sale of fashion products and accessories. Along with business development, the need for adequate service is very important. Customer satisfaction is one of the key factors that can determine the long-term success of this store. However, the problem that is often faced is the difficulty of evaluating the extent to which employee services affect the level of customer satisfaction, as well as how to improve the quality of services provided.The solution offered is the implementation of the SAW method to measure customer satisfaction with My Lova store employee services. The SAW method will be used to analyze various criteria that affect customer satisfaction, such as employee friendliness, service speed, product quality, store cleanliness, and others.The results of the analysis of 10 consumers who have been surveyed regarding their satisfaction with employee services at Toko My Lova Bengkulu City, using the SAW method, then 90% of consumers stated that they were very satisfied with the services provided by My Lova Store employees. and 10% of consumers stated that they were satisfied, with the service at the my lova shop.

Abstract

Measuring the level of community satisfaction at the Central Lebong Sub-District Head Office still uses a complaint box, where people can write suggestions on a piece of paper and then enter the suggestion through the box provided with two options, namely satisfied and dissatisfied. This is certainly less effective and takes a long time in measuring the level of community satisfaction due to the absence of a definite indicator in assessing satisfaction with service performance at the Central Lebong District Head Office. The application of the Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) method in measuring the level of community satisfaction with service performance at the Central Lebong Sub-District Head Office can assist administrators in managing data on the assessment of community satisfaction with service performance at the Central Lebong Sub-District Head Office, can provide information on the level of community satisfaction with service performance at the Central Lebong Sub-District Head Office, and can facilitate the community, especially those in the Central Lebong Sub-District area, in providing an assessment of satisfaction with service performance at the Central Lebong Sub-District Head Office. The application of the Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) method in measuring the level of community satisfaction with service performance at the Central Lebong Sub-District Head Office was built web-based using the PHP programming language and MySQL database which can be accessed via the url link https://surveikecamatanlebongtengah.online/. Based on the tests that have been carried out, it is found that this application is very helpful in managing and evaluating data on community satisfaction assessment of services at the Sub-District Head Office of Central Lebong District so that the level of community satisfaction is known and this application can be used as a forum for the community in providing community satisfaction assessment of services at the Sub-District Head Office of Central Lebong District.
