Abstract

Abstract: Takengon - Blangkejeren road is one of the cross national roads connecting Central Aceh Regency with Gayo Lues Regency. This road is in the mountainous terrain and often passed by heavy loaded vehicles so that often damaged. To overcome the frequent damage to this road segment, it is necessary to conduct a research on road pavement damage. The purpose of this research is to know the condition of road damage based on the combination of International Roughness Index (IRI) and Surface Distress Index (SDI). This study uses direct observation method in the field by conducting a visual survey of road pavement conditions. The result of the research shows that the total damage level of road surface is 30,54% while the road surface is not damaged by 69,46% from total of road that become research object, that is 12,63 Km divided into 6 road segment. For the overall condition of roads reviewed 45.02% good, 45.81% medium, 6.87% lightly damaged, 2.29% heavily damaged.

Abstract

Changes in transportation trends can occur during and after COVID-19, such as travel distance, trip, and choice of transportation mode. The positive benefits from these changes in transportation trends should be maintained, to reduce disaster risk of environmental hazards from the CO2 emissions. Research on changes in mobility, trips, and CO2 emissions during and after COVID-19 in Indonesia is still very limited; whereas, changes in these transportation variables can be an inspiration for determining sustainable transportation policies in the future. This study aims to compare amid COVID-19 and post-COVID-19 transportation variablestravel distances, trips, and associated CO2 emissions. This research was conducted by giving questionnaires to 400 participants in Aceh Besar District. The questionnaire contains questions regarding the distance traveled, trips, fuel spent, and socio-economic characteristics. The CO2 emissions were calculated using IPCC (2006). The travel distance, trips, and transportation-related CO2 emissions during and after COVID-19 were compared respectively based on statistics. The results showed that there were significant differences in travel distances, trips, and transportation-related CO2 emissions between COVID-19 and the post-COVID-19 situation in the District of Aceh Besar. This article also presents several recommendations based on the data analysis results linked to literature studies about the sustainability of transportation as a result of COVID-19 situation; those are: providing quality public transportation, considering teleworking, providing solutions for workers who do not have access to online work, and paying attention to increasing use of private cars and car sharing post COVID-19.

Abstract

Maps are a tool for communicating between map makers and map users, so that maps are required to be able to present the functions and information of the objects depicted optimally. The aim of the service is to create an administrative map. The regulations used in making this map are regulations issued by the Head of the Geopatial Information Agency (PerKaBIG) Number 3 of 2016 concerning Technical Specifications for Presenting Village Maps. Making this map uses tools in the form of GIS (Geographic Information System) software. This data collection was carried out by mapping hamlet boundaries using Google Earth Pro software, then the results were extracted into the GIS application, then adjustments were made to the map data into map form and reproducing or printing the map in map form. The map that will be created is an administrative map of the division of hamlets into villages or also called Gampong in Acehnese. This map was made in Gampong Luthu Lamweu, Sukamakmur District, Aceh Besar Regency which has three hamlets, namely Amplam Batee Hamlet, Lamweu Hamlet and Lam Ara Hamlet. Administratively, Luthu Lamweu Gampong is bordered to the north by Reuhat Tuha Gampong, to the south by Gampong Aneuk Glee Mountain/Bukit Barisan, to the east by Gampong Baet Mesjid and to the west by Luthu Dayah Krueng Gampong.
