Abstract

This research is motivated by the ability of school principals who are less able to prepare School Work Plans and are less able to utilize the results of Quality Reports in making School Work Plans so that there is no synchronization between Quality Reports and School Work Plans. This study aims to determine the contribution of understanding the quality report cards and the principal's leadership to preparing school work plans in public elementary schools (SD) of West Pasaman Regency. This study uses the Proportional Stratified Random Sampling, with a population of 252 principals and a sample of 82 people from the total population taken from the principal at the State Elementary School in West Pasaman Regency. The type of data used is primary data. Sources of data come from the number of principals, characteristics, and so on. The analysis technique used is the average score (Mean) for the description of the data, the requirements test, namely the normality test, homogeneity test, linearity test, and independence test. Then test the hypothesis with simple linear regression and multiple linear regression. The results of the study stated that the understanding of the quality report card and the principal's leadership together contributed to the preparation of the school work plan by 34.3%, this explains that the better understanding of the quality report card and the leadership of the principal has an impact on the better quality of the preparation of school work plans.

Abstract

Tan Malaka was one of the most famous revolutionary figures during the Indonesian independence movement. His birth house is one of the heritage objects in Nagari Pandam Gadang, Gunuang Omeh, Lima Puluh Kota Regency which was established around the 1860s before Tan Malaka was born. However, over time, Tan Malaka's birth house has become increasingly neglected. The unclear management of this house is one of the factors that affect it. Seeing this condition, the researcher raised Tan Malaka's birth house as an object of research in the author's scientific work. The type of research method used is descriptive qualitative research method. This research produces descriptive data in the form of images and visual analysis of the relics found in the Tan Malaka House. This research is intended to revive the interest and appreciation of the community, especially West Sumatra residents, for the role of Tan Malaka's house as part of the history of Indonesian heroes so that it can continue to inspire and provide valuable insights for the future.

Abstract

The phenomenon found shows that the performance of public elementary school teachers in the Lubuk Basung sub-district is relatively low. It is suspected that the cause is moralist leadership and adhocracy organizational culture. This study aims to reveal whether the two factors of moralist leadership and adhocracy organizational culture contribute to the performance of public elementary school teachers in the Lubuk Basung sub-district. The hypotheses proposed in this study are: 1) Moralistic leadership contributes to teacher performance, 2) Adhocracy organizational culture contributes to teacher performance and 3) Moralist leadership and adhocracy organizational culture together contribute to teacher performance. The study population was 300 public elementary school teachers in Palembayan District. The sample was drawn using a stratified proportional random sampling technique. The selected sample was 90 people. To test the hypothesis, correlation, and regression analysis techniques were used. Data collection using a questionnaire that has been tested for validity and reliability. The results of data analysis show that: 1) Moralist leadership contributes 22.1% to teacher performance, 2) Adhocracy organizational culture contributes 19.7% to teacher performance and 3) Moralist leadership and adhocracy organizational culture together contribute 31.9% to teacher performance. The level of score achievement for these three variables (teacher performance, moralist leadership, and adhocracy organizational culture) is in a good category. The results of this study indicate that moralist leadership and adhocracy organizational culture are two factors that need to be applied by principals to improve the performance of public elementary school teachers in Lubuk Basung District.

Abstract

A school needs education funding in the form of education funds needed by the school. The factors that influence the education fund itself in a school are teachers, the percentage of students, and the use of education funding itself. The problems that occur in education financing are financial management in schools that are not well managed, besides that there are indications of misappropriation in finances committed by related persons, as well as a lack of school supplies, only coming from students. Funding for education in schools has not been maximized because direct cost and indirect cost sources of funds have not been used optimally. Apart from that, problems that often arise, namely in recording school financial administration and expenses to financial reporting. Current problems with the difficulty of life make the world of education only experienced by the wealthy. The study used in the writing of this article is to use the literature study method where the source comes from books, in Googlei Scholeir or in the form of previous articles and relevant articles related to the problem.

Abstract

Based on the pre-survey results, it is illustrated that the job satisfaction of Kampar Regency Senior High School teachers is still low. It was assumed that it dealt with two issues including unfulfilled incentives and unconducive school climate. Thus, it is required to conduct research to test the truth. This study aims to reveal the contribution of incentives and school climate to the job satisfaction of teachers at Kampar Regency High School. The hypotheses put forward in this study are: (1) incentives contribute to teachers' job satisfaction, (2) school climate contributes to teacher' job satisfaction, (3) incentives and school climate contribute to teachers' job satisfaction. The population in this study were 687 teachers with PNS status at Kampar Regency State High School. The samples were chosen through two different techniques, the first technique was cluster random sampling based on the distance from the school to the city center, and it was obtained 6 schools with 205 teachers. The second was stratified proportional random sampling based on strata, and it was obtained 27 teachers as the sample. The research instrument used is the assessment scale and the Likert Scale Questionnaire model which has been tested for its validity and reliability. The research data were analyzed using correlation and regression techniques. The research finding show 3 main points: (1) incentives contribute to teachers' job satisfaction by 51.6%, (2) school climate contributes to teachers' job satisfaction by 22.4%, (3) incentives and school climate jointly contribute to teachers' job satisfaction of 70.9%. The achievement level of the teachers' job satisfaction score is 83.95% which is considered as satisfied category, and for incentives 83.44% is in the good category while for the school climate 84.10 from the ideal score is in the conducive category. To conclude, the findings imply that incentives and school climate are two factors that can increase teachers' job satisfaction, apart from other factors.

Abstract

A directed education process will bring this nation towards a better civilization. Conversely, an educational process that is not directed will only take up time, energy and funds without any results. Thus, the education system as the implementation of national education greatly determines the progress of a nation. To realize the goals of education, it is necessary to carry out planning and development in the world of education which continues to move forward by utilizing familiar technology in the 4.0 era. Planning is something that is important before doing anything else. Planning is considered important because it will determine and at the same time give direction to the goals to be achieved. Thus a work will be messy and undirected if there is no proper planning, careful and well-organized planning will have an impact on the achievement of educational goals that have been programmed. In addition, development can also determine the success or failure of a program, programs that do not go through good planning, then development tends to fail. The method in this research is literature review, namely by reviewing books and journals in accordance with the theory discussed in the article theme, namely to carry out in-depth discussions regarding Educational Planning and Development so that it can run optimally. Abstract

Berdasarkan prasurvey pada Sekolah Dasar Negeri Kecamatan Nan Sabaris Kabupaten Padang Pariaman, ditemukan bahwa kinerja guru masih rendah. Hal ini mungkin disebabkan oleh berbagai faktor, salah satu diantaranya adalah kurang kondusifnya iklim sekolah yang berlangsung di SD Negeri Kecamatan Nan Sabaris Kabupaten Padang Pariaman. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap seberapa besar pengaruh iklim sekolah terhadap kinerja guru. Sampel penelitian ini adalah guru SD Negeri Kecamatan Nan Sabaris Kabupaten Padang Pariaman yang berstatus Pegawai Negeri Sipil (PNS) yang berjumlah 64 orang yang dipilih secara acak dari populasi yang berjumlah 178 orang. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah angket model Skala Likert yang telah diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya. Data penelitian ini dianalisis dengan teknik korelasi dan regresi sederhana. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data diketahui bahwa kinerja guru dan iklim sekolah di SD Negeri Kecamatan Nan Sabaris Kabupaten Padang Pariaman sudah berada pada kategori baik dengan tingkat capaian responden masing-masingnya adalah 81,64% dan 80,56% dari skor ideal. Selanjutnya untuk hasil uji hipotesis diketahui bahwa iklim sekolah berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap kinerja guru sebesar 3,3%.

Abstract

Dalam perancangan video dokumenter ini terhadap masjid Rao Rao Nagari Sungai Tarap Kabupaten Tanah Datar sebagai upaya memperkenalkan, melestarikan serta memberitahu masyarakat keunikan dan berbagai makna yang ada di masjid Rao Rao sehingga dapat menjadikan video dokumenter ini yang komunikatif baik secara verbal ataupun visual. Perancangan video tersebut menggunakan teori glass box. Metode yang digunakan tersebut merupakan metode berfikir secara objektif dan sistematis. Metode ini berupaya menemukan berbagai fakta sebab dan alasan atas terjadinya suatu hal. Metode ini terbagi menjadi empat tahapan yaitu diantaranya tahap persiapan, tahap inkubasi, tahap iluminasi, dan tahap verifikasi. Metode ini diawali dengan menyiapkan semua keperluan untuk membuat sebuah karya. Selanjutnya pada tahap inkubasi ini kita disuruh untuk membuat tubuh rileks dan pemikiran jernih dengan mengerjakan sesuatu hal sesuai hobby. Pada tahap iluminasi, kita disuruh berimajinasi dan imajinasi tersebut lahir dan menjadi ide kreatif. Yang terakhir yaitu tahap verifikasi, tahap ini kita disuruh mengembangakan ide kreatif yang telah ditentukan tersebut. Pada perancangan ini menggunakan metode analisis 5w+1h. dengan analisis tersebut dapat ditemukan pemecahan permasalahan. Video dokumenter ini telah diuji dan mendapatkan hasil yang baik, mudah dipahami.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan sebuah sistem informasi Akademik (SIADAK). Sistem dapat diakses admin, prodi, dosen dan mahasiswa untuk semua yang berhubungan dengan akademik. Penelitian ini menggunakan model pengembangan waterfall. Waterfall mempunyai tahapan pengembangan yaitu communication, planning, modeling, construction dan deployment. Metode pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini terbagi menjadi beberapa metode yang digunakan untuk mengetahui atau mendapatkan gambaran tentang masalah yang terjadi di peguruan Tinggi. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini metode observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan literature. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan untuk menguji kelayakan dari sistem. Data dianalisis dan diperoleh data dari Ahli informasi sbesar 91,89%, Ahli Subtansi 86,3% dan Mahasiswa 90,71. Dengan rata rata akhir 89,6%. Simpulan, sistem Informasi Akademik (SIADAK) STKIP Yayasan Abdi Pendidikan layak untuk digunakan.

Abstract

Revolusi adalah perubahan yang mendasar pada aktivitas manusia dalam menyesuaikan diri dengan tuntutan kehidupan. Proses ini akan mempengaruhi system pendidikan yang akan dijalankan, dimana pendidikan harus mampu membekali peserta didik dengan keterampilan mencari, menganalisa, menemukan, menyimpulkan, kemudian menyampaikan serta tata cara menggunakan informasi dan teknologi. Era Revolusi Industri 4.0 memberikan tuntutan tersendiri bagi dunia pendidikan, lembaga pendidikan harus mempersiapkan pendekatan baru dalam bidang pendidikan, lembaga pendidikan harus memiliki literasi baru berupa literasi data, teknologi dan sumber daya manusia. Pendidikan pada era revolusi industri 4.0 harus mampu meningkatkan kemampuan dan keterampilan sumber daya manusia, adaptasi dan pembaharuan dalam komponen pendidikan, peningkatan kompetensi dan keterampilan pendidik dan melibatkan teknologi pada proses pembelajaran. Kurikulum harus mampu meningkatkan kemampuan peserta didik yang siap menghadapi era revolusi industri dengan penekanan pada bidang Science, Technology, Engineering, dan Mathematics (STEM). Agar dapat melahirkan peserta didik yang sesuai dengan tuntutan zaman, dibutuhkan Sekolah yang memiliki budaya organisasi yang kuat (Bayar,2021) Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk medskripsikan bahwa memperkuat budaya organisasi sekolah merupakan salah satu usaha untuk meningkatkan prestasi peserta didik. Penelitian ini merupakan kajian literatur pada beberapa hasil penelitian. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dengan teknik observasi dan dokumentasi. Data diolah dengan menggunakan teknik triangulasi sumber. Temuan dari penelitian ini menyatakan 1) Budaya Organisasi Sekolah yang kuat dapat membantu meningkatkan kemampuan perserta didik. 2) Budaya Organiasi sekolah yang lemah menjadikan komitmen kerja guru rendah. 3) Komitmen kerja yang rendah menyebabkan prestasi peserta didik juga rendah.
