<![CDATA[This research was based on a case where the result of observation by researcher in Public Elementary School, that showed the low level of teacher performance. Many factors affected the teacher performance which is pedagogical competence. The purpose of this research is to know about the relationship of pedagogical competence to teacher performance in Public Elementary School. The method of this research was quantitative research with 78 teachers. Instrument in this research used teacher competence test. The results of the analysis data showed that pedagogical competence contributes significantly to teacher performance in Public Elementary School of 21.9 % and 78.1% of remaining influenced by another factors. The recommendation in this research is the teachers may improve pedagogical competence and teacher performance.]]>

<![CDATA[This paper examined the influence of principal supervision on teacher performance at Vocational High school 2 Padang. This is a correlational research. The population is 76 teachers and research sample is 43 teachers that are taken by propotional stratified random sampling. The instrument was questionnaire with Likert scale models that had been tested forits validity and reliability. The data were analyzed by simple linear regression. The results showed that the influence of principal supervision on teacher performance at Vocational School (SMKN) 2 in Padang was significant.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the use of e-report by teachers at High School (SMA) Negeri 1 Ampek Angkek, Agam. This research is a descriptive study with a quantitative approach. The population of this study were all teachers who served as civil servants totaling 70 people. While the sampling technique in this study uses a total sample with the number of samples equal to the population. The data collection technique is through questionnaires with Likert scale models that have been tested for validity and reliability. The results of the study show the effectiveness of the use of e-report by teachers at SMA Negeri 1 Ampek Angkek, Agam can be said to be effective. This can be seen from the average score obtained per indicator which shows that the system quality indicator gets a score of 3.49 with a fairly effective category, the information quality indicator scores 3.74 with the effective category, the service quality indicator 3.79 with the category effective, usage satisfaction indicators get a score of 3.81 with effective categories, and profit indicators that get a score of 4.03 in the effective category. So the use of e-report by the teacher at SMA Negeri 1 of Ampek Angkek, Agam can be declared effective by getting an average score of 3.77.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to obtain information about Teacher's Perception to increase of academic quality based of Management Information Systems at Elementary School 08 Batang Anai which is viewed from aspects: quality and management information system. This type of research is descriptive. The sample in this research were all teachers in SDN 08 Batang Anai, amounting to 11 peoples. Research method is qualitative descriptive. The data that has been collected by obsrvation and interview with the teachers and employee in that school. The result showed that: 1. Teacher's perception in improving the quality of education in SDN 08 Batang Anai is considered weak. The number of those who complained about being unable and lacking in expertise made the quality of education in these schools decline. 2. Teachers' perceptions in using the Management Information System in Schools are also considered weak. Some senior teachers who only rely on school operators make the information system not run smoothly as it should.]]>

<![CDATA[The aim of this study in general is to get a general description of the implementation of supervision by direct superiors at the Department of Industry and Commerse of West Sumatra. While the specific aim of this study is to get an overview of the implementation of supervision by direct supervisors seen from aspects: standard setting, supervision techniques, time of supervision, assessment and follow-up at the Department of Industry and Commerse of West Sumatra. This research is descriptive research. The population of this research is 116 employees of the Department of Industry and Trade of West Sumatra Province. While the sample in this study uses the Slovin formula, which is 56 people. The data collection tool in this study is a questionnaire, which is arranged in the form of a Likert scale that has been tested for validity and reliability. Data is analyzed by using the mean formula. The results of the study show that: the standard setting by direct superiors has illustrated a fairly good supervision with an average score of 2.9; supervision techniques by direct superiors have illustrated fairly good supervision with an average score of 3.3; the time of supervision by direct superiors has described good supervision with an average score of 3.8; the appraisal by direct supervisors at the has described a fairly good supervision with an average score of 3.3; follow-up by direct supervisors has described good supervision with an average score of 3.8. Overall, the implementation of supervision by direct superiors at the Department of Industry and Commerse of West Sumatra has illustrated a fairly good supervision.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to obtain information about Teacher's Perception of the Application of Academic Management Information Systems at Vocational High School (SMK) 3 Padang which is viewed from aspects: input, process, and output. This type of research is descriptive research. The population of this study were all teachers at SMK 3 Padang, amounting to 86 people. The instrument used to collect data is a questionnaire in the form of a Likert Scale with five alternative answers. The data that has been collected is then analyzed using the mean formula. The results showed that: (1) Input Activities in the Application of Academic Management Information Systems at SMK 3 Padang were in the good category with an average score of 4.09. (2) Process Activities in the Application of Academic Management Information Systems at SMK 3 Padang are in the good category with an average score of 4.11. 3) Output Activities in the Application of Academic Management Information Systems at SMK 3 Padang are in the good category with an average score of 4.07. Overall, the Application of Academic Management Information System at SMK 3 Padang is in a good category with an average score of 4.09.]]>

<![CDATA[Penelitian dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mendapatkan informasi mengenai persepsi para guru mengenai iklim sekolah dengan indikator; dukungan, afiliasi, keakraban, keterlibatan, kelengkapan sarana dan prasarana, serta kenyamanan lingkungan fisik. Penelitian ini berjenis deskriptif-kuantitatif dan populasi pada penelitian adalah seluruh guru yang menjadi tenaga pengajar di SMKN 3 Padang sebanyak 87 guru. Sampel berjumlah 49 guru dengan menghitung besarannya memakai rumus Slovin serta dilakukan pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik proportional stratified random sampling. Instrumen penelitan berbentuk angket dengan model skala Likert yang sudah dilakukan pengujian validitas dan reabilitasnya. Selanjutnya data yang terkumpul dilakukan analisis dengan mencari rata-rata dan tingkat capaiannya dan diperoleh hasil yang memperlihatkan bahwa iklim sekolah SMKN 3 Padang memperoleh rata-rata 4,17 dan tingkat capaian 83,40% berada pada kriteria kondusif.]]>

<![CDATA[The purpose of this study was made to see and get information about how capable students' perceptions of teacher personality competence are in carrying out their duties. There are five questions to be answered in this study, namely 1) How do students 'perceptions of the personality of the noble character possessed by the teacher in carrying out their duties at Vocational High School (SMK) Negeri 1 Solok, 2) How do students' perceptions of a personality that is steady and stable teachers have in carrying out their duties in Vocational High School (SMK) Negeri 1 Solok, 3) How do students' perceptions of the adult personality possessed by the teacher in carrying out their duties at Vocational High School (SMK) Negeri 1 Solok, 4) What is the student's perspective about the wise and wise personality possessed by teachers in carrying out their duties at Vocational High School (SMK) Negeri 1 Solok, 5) How do students' perceptions of the authoritative personality possessed by teachers in carrying out their duties at Vocational High School (SMK) Negeri 1 Solok. This type of research is quantitative descriptive with the population in this study are all students of class XI and XII at SMK Negeri 1 Solok with 955 students and a sample of 91 people. Sampling was determined using the Slovin formula and taken using simple random sampling technique. The research instrument used was a questionnaire with a Likert scale model, amounting to 30 statements. The data collected is then processed and the average score (mean) and the respondent's level of achievement (TCR) are sought. The results of data processing show that the teacher's personality competence seen from the indicators of noble character gets an average score of 3.83 with a respondent's achievement level (TCR) of 76.6%, a steady and stable personality gets an average score of 3.65, the respondent's level of achievement ( TCR) 73%, adult personalities get an average score of 3.59 with the respondent's achievement level (TCR) 71.8%, wise and wise personalities get an average score of 3.53 with a respondent's achievement level (TCR) of 70, 6%, and an authoritative personality got an average score of 3.63 with the respondent's achievement level (TCR) of 72.6%. Overall students' perceptions of teacher personality competence in Vocational High School (SMK) Negeri 1 Solok obtained an average score of 3.64 with a respondent's achievement level (TCR) of 72.8%..]]>

<![CDATA[The objectives of this research are (1) to identify the competency level of school administration staff (SAS), and (2) to analyze the need of SAS Training. This research was conducted using descriptive method. The population of this research is Junior High School Vocational School Administration of West Sumatera which is spread over 18 districts / cities. The sample of the research was taken by geographic cluster and selected 7 (seven) regions. In detail the sample consisted of 158 school administrative staff and 63 heads of administrative staff. The research instrument is a questionnaire with semantic scale that has been tested validity and reliability empirically and obtained significant results. Data analysis was done descriptively. The results showed that the average of head managerial competence of SAS was 78.86% (in the category capable), technical competence of SAS head of 79.14 (in the category capable), technical competence of SAS of 82.75 (in the able category); Meanwhile, the need for education and training in the development of managerial competence of head of SAS is 83.09 (in need category), technical competence of head of SAS is 82.86 (in need category), and technical competence of SAS is 82.30 (in need category).]]>

<![CDATA[Tujuan pembahasan ini adalah untuk mengetahui serta menganalisis peran dan tugas utama kepemimpinan kepala sekolah SD. Metode kepustakaan (library research) digunakan sebagai metodologi penelitian dalam penelitian ini. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam pembahasan ini yaitu dengan mengkaji atau mengeksplorasi beberapa buku, jurnal, serta dokumen lain yang dianggap relevan. Penelitian ini membahas yang penting dalam pendidikan yaitu bagaimana bentuk kepemimpinanan, dan tugas utama kepala sekolah di SD. Kepemimpinan kepala sekolah merupakan penentu keberhasilan terwujudnya tujuan pendidikan di sekolah yang telah diuraikan dalam visi dan misi sekolah. Tugas utama kepala sekolah adalah sebagai manajerial, supervisor, dan sebagai pemimpin kewirausahaan. Kepala sekolah merupakan keynote speaker atau orang kunci dalam memimpin, dan mengelola sekolah agar tercapainya tujuan pendidikan di sekolah . Kepala sekolah sebagai guru yang diberi tugas dalam mengelola dan memimpin sekolah harus tahu dan paham serta dapat mengaplikasikan apa yang menjadi tugas utama seorang kepala sekolah dalam bentuk tindakan nyata dalam memimpin dan memajukan sekolah dan pendidikan di Indonesia ini seperti yang telah tertuang pada permendikbud No. 6 Tahun 2018.
