Abstract

Speaking is one of the English skills needed to obtain better achievement, and communication skills are needed when collaborating with one another. This research aims to know the implementation of simple Project-Based Learning (PJBL) syntaxes in improving comprehension elements in teaching. Speaking is the expected skill that is always promoted at school and university. This research is qualitative. The data collection used close-ended interviews. Data analysis was carried out by describing the results of the observation. However, the sample of this research took class VIII students of SMA 1 Sembalun as research participants. Importantly, the research showed that PJBL helped students comprehend the narrative text directly in front of the class. It is such a bonus that research PJBL also improves student vocabulary based on students’ answers. Many projects can be used in PJBL to improve students’ Comprehension, and Project-Based Learning (PJBL) can be used to help students improve their speaking. Abstract

Pronunciation clarity is one of the most crucial aspects in mastering English for EFL learners, yet many students still struggle with phoneme articulation, word stress, and intonation. Preliminary observation at MA Birrul Walidain NW Rensing revealed that 11th-grade students frequently mispronounced phonemes such as /θ/ and /ð/, misplaced stress, and produced monotonous intonation, which hindered their intelligibility and confidence. This highlights the urgency of applying an effective and structured phonological training method to improve students’ pronunciation. The present study aimed to examine the impact of the Repeated Reading (RR) technique as a phonological practice tool to enhance pronunciation clarity. This research employed a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental non-equivalent control group design. The study was conducted at MA Birrul Walidain NW Rensing during the 2025/2026 academic year, involving 26 eleventh-grade students selected randomly into experimental (n=12) and control groups (n=14). Data were collected through pre-test and post-test oral reading tasks, assessed with a pronunciation rubric covering both segmental and suprasegmental features. The instrument was validated by two English teachers, and data were analyzed using SPSS through Shapiro-Wilk test, Levene’s test, Paired Sample t-Test, and Independent Sample t-Test. The results showed that the experimental group’s mean score increased from 9.00 to 12.58 (SD=2.49 to 2.30), with a mean difference of 3.58 (t=10.62, p=0.000). In contrast, the control group only improved from 9.00 to 9.64 (mean difference=0.64, t=1.64, p=0.125). Independent Sample t-Test confirmed a significant difference in post-test scores between groups (mean diff=2.94, t=2.83, p=0.009). These findings indicate that RR significantly enhances pronunciation clarity, particularly in phoneme accuracy, stress placement, intonation, and rhythm. Thus, repeated reading can be considered an effective strategy for EFL pronunciation instruction.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there is an influence of the local wisdom-based inquiry model on students' problem-solving abilities in temperature and heat materials. The research method used is the Experimental method with Posttest-Only Control Design. Based on the results of data analysis, the t count value = 6.413 and t table = 1.697 with a significant rate of 5%. tcount > ttable then Ho is rejected so that it can be said that learning with the local wisdom-based inquiry model has an effect on students' problem-solving abilities in temperature and heat materials.

Abstract

This study investigates the use of formative and summative assessments in enhancing the speaking skills of sixth-semester EFL students at Hamzanwadi University. Although numerous studies have explored assessment practices in language learning, limited attention has been given to how both formative and summative assessments specifically influence EFL learners’ speaking performance in the Indonesian higher education context. To address this gap, the study employed a qualitative descriptive design, collecting data through questionnaires and interviews to explore students’ perceptions, experiences, and reflections regarding both assessment types. Findings reveal that formative assessment has a greater positive impact on speaking performance, offering regular feedback, progressive practice, and improved confidence while reducing anxiety. Summative assessment, while motivating, often induces stress, limits feedback, and may not fully reflect students’ actual abilities. The study concludes that formative assessment is more effective in supporting speaking development and recommends a balanced approach that emphasizes formative processes while using summative evaluation as a complementary measure.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether or not there is an effect of the PBL (Problem Based Learning) model assisted by Student Worksheets (LKPD) on student learning outcomes in the elasticity material at MA Mu'allimat NWDI Pancor for the 2022/2023 academic year ".This study uses an experimental method with a Posttest-Only Control Design, which only provides a post-test at the end of the treatment. The population in this study were all students of class XI IPA MA Mu'allimat NWDI Pancor. Meanwhile, the samples in this study were class XI IPA 1 as the experimental group and class XI IPA 3 as the control group. The two samples were randomly selected using the Cluster Random Sampling (Area Sampling) technique. The experimental group was taught physics using the PBL (Problem Based Learning) model with the help of Student Worksheets (LKPD) and the control group was taught physics using the conventional model.The research data were analyzed using two-party t-test. Based on the research results obtained 〖 t〗_hitung (4,513)>t_tabel (1,998) at a significant level of 0.05. Because〖 t〗_hitung>t_tabel, then H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. Thus,it can be concluded that there is an effect of the PBL (Problem Based Learning) model assisted by Student Worksheets on student learning material at MA Mu’allimat NWDI Pancor in the 2022/2023 academic year.

Abstract

Sistem Informasi Arsip Surat Masuk dan Keluar adalah rekaman suatu informasi berupa surat masuk atau surat keluar yang sangan berguna bagi suatu instansi untuk. beberapa dari instansi ada juga yang belum menggunakan sistem informasi guna mengelola surat masuk dan surat keluar,di dalam pegarsipan surat masuk dan surat keluar masih menggunakan cara manual dan disimpan dalam map besar/stanbook, Namun saat ini dalam pelaksanaannya pengelolaan arsip surat banyak mengalami kendala. Seperti pada saat pengagendaan surat masuk yang diterima dan surat keluar yang akan dikirimkan, penomoran surat sulit dilakukan karena surat dicatat pada buku agenda konvensional faktor lain yang bisa menyebabkan kerusakan bahkan kehilangan surat yang berharga. Penelitian ini guna merancang sistem informasi pengarsipan surat secara terkomputriasi di lembaga Madrasah Ibtida’iyah Sukorejo. Penelitian ini memakai dua metode ialah metode pengumpulan data juga metode Waterfall. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini didapatkan sistem informasi arsip surat msuk dan surat keluar berbasis web, meliputi halaman login, halaman dashboard, halaman tampilan surat masuk, halaman tambah surat masuk, halaman surat keluar dan halaman cetak surat. Mengingat pentingnya peranan pengelolaan arsip surat, sudah seharusnya surat tersebut dikelola dengan baik sejak surat itu diterima atau dikeluarkan. Oleh karena itu diperlukan adanya sebuah sistem yang dapat digunakan untuk mengelola kegitan surat menyurat secara terpadu. Diharapkan sistem ini bisa membantu khususnya pada lembaga Madrasah Ibtida’iyah Sukorejo dalam melakukan tugasnya.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menguji efektivitas atau dampak pembelajaran berbasis proyek sederhana dalam mengajar keterampilan berbicara, khususnya untuk unsur pemahaman berbicara. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian pra-eksperimental, dan untuk mengumpulkan data, peneliti menggunakan pre-test, perlakuan, dan post-test. Partisipan penelitian terdiri dari 20 siswa sebagai sampel di SMAN 1 Sembalun. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat kontribusi signifikan dari pembelajaran berbasis proyek sederhana dalam mengajar keterampilan berbicara, khususnya untuk unsur pemahaman berbicara. Data menunjukkan bahwa skor rata-rata pada pre-test adalah 43.00 dengan deviasi standar 11.286. Pada post-test, skor rata-rata meningkat menjadi 81.0500, dan deviasi standar menurun menjadi 10.26222. Berdasarkan hasil ini, nilai signifikansi adalah <0.05, yang menunjukkan bahwa hipotesis peneliti diterima, yang berarti pembelajaran berbasis proyek sederhana efektif untuk mengajar keterampilan berbicara, khususnya untuk unsur pemahaman berbicara.

Abstract

Studi kuantitatif ini mengeksplorasi efektivitas pendekatan pembelajaran berbasis proyek sederhana dalam mengajar kosakata unsur. Penelitian ini berfokus pada menilai dampak kegiatan pembelajaran berbasis proyek terhadap pemerolehan kosakata di antara peserta. Dengan menggunakan metodologi terstruktur, data dikumpulkan melalui pre-test dan post-test untuk mengukur pemahaman dan retensi kosakata. Studi ini mengungkapkan peningkatan signifikan dalam kemahiran kosakata peserta setelah penerapan strategi pembelajaran berbasis proyek. Temuan ini menegaskan efektivitas integrasi hasil pembelajaran berbasis proyek dalam pengaturan pendidikan.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of using image media on students' learning and English speaking skills. This research was carried out at Abbasyiah NW Jerua Middle School, West Sakra District, East Lombok Regency. This research uses quantitative research, applying pre-experimental research to determine the speaking abilities of Abbasyiah NW Jerua Middle School students. To determine students' abilities, researchers used pre and post-tests. The test aims to measure students' ability to speak before and after being given treatment. The research results show an increase in student learning outcomes through the use of image media. This can be seen from the increase in pretest-posttest results given before and after treatment. From the results of the pretest and posttest carried out on students, the average score was 46.39 for the pretest and 91.39 for the posttest. And the results of the hypothesis test show that the hypothesis that has been formulated is accepted (Ho is accepted, while Ha is rejected) which means there is a significant difference in the use of image media in improving students' speaking skills in the English learning outcomes of Abbasyiah NW Jerua Middle School students.

Abstract

Abstrak. Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi penerapan metode Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) pada Sistem Pendukung Kepurusan (SPK) untuk pemilihan kelas di Madrasah Ta'hiliyah. Madrasah Ta'hiliyah adalah sebuah lembaga pendidikan Islam di pondok Pesantren Salafiyah Syafi’iyah Situbondo.Kriteria yang dipakai adalah Kemampuan Membaca Alqur’an, Kemampuan Membaca Kitab, Tes Tertulis, dan Latar belakang pengalaman peserta didik. Metode SAW digunakan untuk memprioritaskan kriteria ini dengan memberikan bobot sesuai dengan kepentingan relatifnya, sehingga SPK dapat menghitung skor gabungan untuk setiap mahasiswa. Skor ini membantu dalam merekomendasikan kelas yang paling sesuai untuk setiap mahasiswa, Pembagian akan disesuaikan dengan peringkat dan ketersediaan kelas, memastikan pemanfaatan sumber daya yang optimal dan kepuasan mahasiswa. Hasil dari kuisioner, system mendapat skala 3.75 dari 5. Dimana sistem cukup baik dalam melakukan perhitungan dan menetapkan kelas sesuai preferensi dari mahasiswa itu sendiri.
