Abstract

Sebagai satu suku yang berada di pedalaman, Suku Anak Dalam mempunyai daya tarik tersendiri untuk diteliti dan dipahami. Baik dalam kehidupan sehari-hari (menyangkut etika, adat atau tradisi) sebagaimana mahkluk sosial, tetapi juga sebagai masyarakat beragama. Kegiatan Tim PkM melihat adanya satu kebutuhan dalam peningkatan kapasitas rohani bagi Suku Anak Dalam, karena kompetensi yang dimiliki aktifis di Gereja sangat minim. Kegiatan dilakukan dengan menimbang dan memperhatikan kemampuan Suku Anak Dalam di berbagai aspek. Misalnya kemampuan berbahasa Indonesia, lamanya mereka sebagai orang Kristen dan jumlah sumber daya yang bersedia untuk mengikuti pelatihan. Dalam pelaksanaannya berjalan lancar dan peserta yang bersedia ikut dalam program ini mengikuti dengan antusias dan selalu menghadiri pertemuan. Kegiatan ini dilakukan dengan ceramah dan pelatihan langsung kepada peserta. Total durasi pelaksanaan kegiatan 6 bulan (1 bulan observasi dan penyusunan rencana, sedangkan 5 bulan pelaksaan pelatihan dan pemantauan perkembangan). Hasilnya yang terlihat sangat memuaskan. Semua peserta akhirnya memiliki pemahaman bernyanyi dengan benar. Kedua, semua peserta mampu memimpin ibadah di Gereja dalam bidang nyanyian di kebaktian di Gereja.

Abstract

Tuberculosis (TB) is an infectious disease caused by the bacteria Mycobacterium tuberculosis. A report from the Ministry of Law and Human Rights of North Sumatra Province stated that during the period 2009-2011, new cases of pulmonary TB in prison / remand centers tended to increase every year, the increase was an average of 7.2%. Based on the above background, dedication needs to be done to apply the SOSA bottle along with the promotion of prevention of pulmonary TB transmission in an effort to reduce the incidence of pulmonary TB in assisted residents in the Male Prison, Deli Serdang Regency. Community service activities have been carried out with the socialization of the SOSA bottle application method which is carried out by the method of providing counseling videos and training for the introduction of SOSA bottles as a promotional medium in reducing the risk of pulmonary TB transmission. The WBP was recruited to attend training and become a Training of Trainer (TOT) by forming a peer group of 10 small groups in each prison. It is hoped that the service activities can continue with good cooperation with partners.

Abstract

Surat Ibrani ini dituliskan untuk memberikan keyakinan dasar yang kokoh bagi orang beriman di tengah pergumulan dan penganiayaan masa itu. Dalam pasal 12:1-2 ini peneliti mau menegaskan apa yang menjadi bagian jemaat Tuhan yang perlu dikerjakan setelah melihat semua karya Kristus yang digambarkan dari pasal 1-11 itu. Penelitian menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi pustaka. Yakni dengan menelaah literatur yang berkenaan langsung dengan variabel penelitian. Hasilnya menyatakan bahwa tekun bertahan dalam perlombaan iman mengejar mahkota kemuliaan yang disediakan bagi setiap pemenang. Setiap jemaat harus meninggalkan segala dosa yang terus membebani hidup. Terus fokus pada Allah yang akan membawa dalam iman sampai kepada kesempurnaan. Bapa yang telah memberikan segala otoritas untuk memerintah atas segenap alam semesta ini dan Dialah yang menjadi pembela, sehingga anak-anak Tuhan tidak perlu ragu lagi. Milikilah keyakinan yang teguh akan Tuhan Yesus.

Abstract

It is undeniable that God's people as members of the church are trapped in a culture of consumerism and it affects the development and growth of their faith. Even by him the culture of consumerism has also penetrated the life of the church. The purpose of this paper is to understand the lifestyle of consumerism and how the Bible views that culture. The method used is qualitative which results in the fact that the church must fulfil its vocation as salt and light of the world, for that it is necessary to take strategic steps to deal with the culture of consumerism. That the church must have a critical response to existing problems, including the problem of consumerism.

Abstract

Background: Tuberculosis (TB) treatment failure may lead to multidrug-resistant tuberculosis (MDR-TB). This failure can be detrimental to patients, not only causing death, but can also be transmitted to others, and those who are infected directly fall into the category of MDR-TB so that it can be referred to as primary MDR-TB. MDR-TB is the biggest problem in the prevention and eradication of TB worldwide. MDR-TB is a type of Mycobacterium tuberculosis resistance to at least the first two TB drugs of choice, including Isoniazid and Rifampicin. Purpose: This study aimed to determine the association between education, contact history, and knowledge regarding the occurrence of primary MDR-TB. Methods: This study used a cross-sectional study conducted at Community Health Center in Medan from November 2021 to February 2022. A total of 47 TB patients were selected for this study through purposive sampling methods. The dependent variable was primary MDR-TB occurrence while the independent variables consisted of several characteristics, namely education, contact history, and knowledge. The data were analyzed using chi-square. Results: in this study, sex  (p=0.56; PR=1.12; 95% CI= 0.30<1,12<4,14;) and education (p=0.40; PR=0.56; 95% CI= 0.14<0.56<2.19) was not associated, while age (p=0.02; PR=0.16; 95% CI=0.02<0.16<0.94), contact history (p<0.001; PR=7.94; 95% CI=2.11<7.94<29.83) and poor knowledge (p=0.01; PR=5.00; 95% CI= 1.31<5.00<18.96) were associated with an occurrence of primary MDR-TB. Conclusion: the prevalence of primary MDR-TB increases with age, contact history, and poor knowledge.
