Abstract

Complementary Food for Mother's Milk (MP-ASI) is additional food besides breast milk which is given to babies after the baby is 6 months old. In addition to solids, breast milk must still be given to babies, at least until 24 months. The cause of the disturbance in the growth and development of the baby is due to the administration of MP-ASI by the mother who is not in accordance with the timeliness of administration, frequency, type, amount of food ingredients, and the method of preparation. in infants in Nagori, Pitu Marihat Island, Ujung Padang District, Simalungun Regency. This type of research is an analytic survey using cross sectional, The population in the study were all mothers who had babies aged 0-6 months, namely 60 babies and were used as the total sample. Data were obtained by interview using a questionnaire and analyzed by the chi-square test. From the results of the chi-square test (a <0.05), it shows that there is a significant relationship between knowledge and giving MP-ASI to infants, obtained p = 0.002. And there is a significant relationship between mother's attitude and the accuracy of giving MP-ASI to babies. p-value = 0.029. It is hoped that the health workers who work at the Puskesmas in Nagori Pulau Pitu, Ujung Padang will more routinely conduct counseling about proper MP-ASI to mothers personally.

Abstract

Most of the Sindar Raya community is a lower middle class society, although there are still a small number of upper middle class people. The type of research used in this study uses a qualitative approach with in-depth interviews with sources of information so that it is clear and more in-depth about the implementation of the JKN program at the Sindar Raya Health Center in May-July 2017. The human resources of the Sindar Raya Health Center are still lacking in quantity and quality. However, in health services, there is no fundamental difference between the services before JKN and the current JKN era. Resource administration capabilities are still not ready to apply the JKN reporting format. Facilities and infrastructure are still lacking, but the puskesmas can still maximize health services to the community. Medical facilities that are still incomplete are dental health services and laboratories. Administrative support facilities such as computers and the internet are still incomplete and must be fulfilled immediately. Financial resources to support the Sindar Raya Health Center are available. In terms of fragmentation, the bureaucratic structure has been running in accordance with the duties and roles of each. Meanwhile, the operational standards for implementing JKN are also clear. Health services in JKN in the field can be carried out because there are no fundamental differences in providing health services. Abstract

Rograra Family Planning (KB) is one of the government's efforts to achieve family welfare. The family planning program is an integrated part of the national development program which aims to create a balanced population so that the economic, spiritual and socio-cultural welfare of the Indonesian people can be achieved with a Total Fertility Rate (TFR) of 2.2. The Male Operation Method (MOP) is the act of cutting and closing the mant ducts (vas deferens) which carry sperm cells (sperm) out of their reproductive centers in the testicles. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between knowledge and attitudes of husbands towards participation in male contraceptive methods (MOP) at the Ujung Padang District Health Center, Simalungun Regency in 2016. The type of this study was analytic. The population of this study were husbands of fertile couples. The sample in this study were all husbands who visited the Ujung Padang Health Center. The results of the study based on the results of the Chi-Sguare statistical test obtained a p value of -0.03 alpha 0.05. So that it is known that there is a relationship between husband's knowledge of male contraceptive participation. So that it is known that there is a relationship between the husband's attitude towards the participation of male contraceptive methods (MOP).
