Abstract

Kegiatan pelatihan ini dilakukan secara bertahap, mulai dari tahap persiapan, pelaksanaan dan tindak lanjut. Dalam kegiatan persiapan dilakukan dalam bentuk rapat persiapan di internal tim pengabdian meliputi persiapan materi, penentuan pemateri dan target yang akan dicapai. Selanjutnya tahap pelaksanaan yaitu pelatihan tentang penulisan artikel, pemberian motivasi, dan praktek penulisan artikel. Pelatihan dilakukan sesuai kesepakatan waktu antara tim pengabdian dan guru-guru di sekolah. Kegiatan Pelatihan telah dilakukan pada tanggal 14 agustus 2018 bertempat di aula SMA N 11 Muaro Jambi. Tahap terakhir adalah tindak lanjut dari pelatihan yaitu pendampingan penulisan artikel hingga artikel guru-guru SMA N 11 Muaro jambi dapat dimuat di Jurnal Nasional maupun Internasional. Hasilnya guru SMA N 11 Muaro Jambi telah berhasil menulis artikel dan dipublikasikan di Jurnal terakreditasi.

Abstract

This study aimed to develop an interactive e-module in flipbook format tailored for 11th-grade high school students, focusing on the respiratory system topic. The research utilized a Research Development (RD) methodology, specifically the 4-D model. The study was conducted at SMA Negeri 5 in Jambi City in September 2024, involving 34 12th-grade science students who had previously studied the respiratory system. Data collection instruments included interview guides, expert validation questionnaires (for content and media), biology teacher assessment questionnaires, and student response questionnaires from both small-group (8 students) and large-group (26 students) trials. Collected data were analyzed using qualitative and quantitative methods. The results indicated that the e-module was highly suitable according to content (88.75%) and media experts (94.79%). Teachers rated the e-module as "highly suitable" (89.95%), while student responses were similarly positive in both small-group (88.39%) and large-group trials (90.72%), classifying the module as "highly effective." Therefore, the interactive flipbook e-module developed in this study is deemed suitable for biology instruction at SMA Negeri 5 Jambi.

Abstract

Teluk Lake of Jambi have a potency to be developed for fishery. This research aims toinvestigate the diversity of lais fish (Kryptopterus spp.) based on their morphological characters.The research was carried out from Novemberto December 2008. The collected fish samples wereidentified their morphological characters in the Biological UP MIPA Laboratory at the University ofJambi. The results show that there are six species of fish Lais in the Teluk Lake includingKryptopterus limpok, K. crytopterus, K. schilbeidis, K. hexapterus, K. bicirrhis, and Hemisilurusmoolenburghi.

Abstract

Dragonflies (Odonata) belong to the phylum Arthropoda class Insecta. Dragonflies are spread in various types of habitats, one of which is in the water area, namely Lake. Danau Tangkas is one of the natural tourism areas in Jambi province. Danau Tangkas is a conducive habitat for dragonfly breeding because the habitat conditions around Danau Tangkas are still beautiful with preserved vegetation. However, the Danau Tangkas area is a tourist area, so it has the potential to experience changes that can have an impact on the dragonfly dominance index. The study aims to analyze the dominance of dragonflies found in the Danau Tangkas natural tourism area. The type of research is exploratory descriptive research. Sampling was done using purposive sampling method. Sampling was carried out at 3 location points that have different characteristics. Made 3 stations with a length of 100 m each to the side and 100 m to the front so as to form a square line. Sample collection is done by hand collecting and using insect nets. Data analysis techniques using Simpson's dominance index calculation. The results of research that has been carried out in the Danau Tangkas  natural tourism area, obtained as many as 447 individuals, 9 species belonging to 3 families. So it is known that the dragonfly dominance index in the Tangkas Lake natural tourism area is low with a value of 0.4.

Abstract

Abstrak: Artikel ini menguraikan tentang kepemimpinan Kepala Desa dalam rangka tata kelola Pemerintahan di Kabupaten Bandung Barat dan untuk mendeskripsikan kepemimpinan kepala desa dalam membangun desa. Deskripsi tersebut diperoleh melalui pengamatan, wawancara, dan penelaahan dokumen. Hasil kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini menyimpulkan bahwa Kepala Desa sebagai pemimpin formal di desa sebagai seorang motivator, fasilitator dan mediator sangat penting dalam menentukan keberhasilan setiap program dan rancangan pembangunan yang telah direncanakan. Oleh karena itu fungsi ini harus dilaksanakan dan implementasikan oleh seorang kepala desa dalam rangka pengembangan dan pembangunan desa. Selain itu kepala desa juga yang merupakan administrator pemerintah, administrator masyarakat dan administrator pembangunan mempunyai peranan yang sangat penting dalam menumbuhkan, menggerakkan dan meningkatkan partisipasi masyarakat untuk ikut aktif dalam kegiatan pembangunan desa. Kata kunci: Kepemimpinan, Desa, Tata Kelola Pemerintahan.

Abstract

The development of ethnoscience-based modules in biology learning, especially on plant material (Plantae), is an essential aspect of efforts to improve learning outcomes. By combining ethnographic and scientific approaches, this module is expected to consider students' cultural context better so as to increase their engagement and understanding of the material. This research aims to analyze the need to develop ethnoscience-based modules, and the importance of analyzing module needs today as an effort to improve biology learning outcomes on plant material (Plantae). This research uses qualitative research with a descriptive approach. The research method used is development research with stages that include identifying needs, planning, development, testing, and evaluation. The sampling technique was carried out using purposive sampling, with a sample of 60 students, and only 10 students, as well as 3 biology subject teachers at SMAN 1 Sungai Penuh, were selected for interviews. Data was collected through observation, field studies, documentation, and interviews and analyzed descriptively. The needs identification results show that there is a high need for the development of ethnoscience-based modules to strengthen students' understanding of plant material. The module is designed by considering the local cultural context and traditional knowledge, which can increase students' absorption of learning material. Module trials were carried out involving students as research subjects, and the results showed a significant increase in understanding of plant material. In addition, the positive response from students and teachers to the module confirms its effectiveness in improving biology learning outcomes. The newest thing in this research is a module developed with elements of ethnoscience by combining scientific concepts with scientific concepts that exist in society so that they can be expressed in a module. So, it can be concluded that the analysis of module needs is indeed critical and necessary in biology learning, especially plant material, which teachers and students can use.

Abstract

Kumbang (Coleoptera) berperan dalam menjaga keseimbangan ekosistem. Misalnya sebagai dekomposer dan bioindikator kerusakan habitat. Penyebaran spesies  Coleoptera di berbagai tipe habitat salah satunya di kawasan perairan. Danau Tangkas yang terletak di Desa Tanjung Lanjut, Kabupaten Muaro Jambi menjadi habitat habitat yang kondusif untuk pertumbuhan dan perkembangbiakan kumbang. Sebagai kawasan wisata, Danau Tangkas berpotensi mengalami perubahan yang dapat berdampak pada keanekaragaman kumbang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis keanekaragaman dan kelimpahan kumbang yang terdapat di kawasan Wisata Alam Danau Tangkas. Jenis penelitian adalah penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan menggunakan metode purposive sampling pada 4 titik lokasi yang berbeda. Dibuat 4 plot dengan ukuran 10 x 10 meter. Koleksi sampel menggunakan pitfall trap, light trap, sweep net, hand collecting dan floathing method. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, diperoleh sebanyak 868 individu, 16 spesies dan 10 famili Coleoptera. Sehingga diketahui tingkat keanekaragaman spesies Coleoptera di kawasan Danau Tangkas tergolong sedang dengan nilai sebesar 2,52. Kelimpahan relatif spesies yang tertinggi yaitu Altica chalybea dengan nilai sebesar 15,32%.

Abstract

Implementasi kecerdasan buatan (Artificial Intelligence/AI) di sektor publik di Indonesia telah dirumuskan dalam Strategi Nasional Kecerdasan Artifisial (Stranas KA), di mana Kementerian Komunikasi dan Informatika Republik Indonesia (Kemenkominfo RI) berperan penting sebagai focal point pemerintah dalam implementasi transformasi digital nasional. Saat ini implementasi AI di bidang pelayanan publik masih perlu dikaji ulang karena adanya kinerja algoritma dan tata kelola data yang dipandang melanggar etika. Rumusan masalah yang diajukan dalam penelitian ini adalah Bagaimana peran implementasi AI dalam memperkuat ikatan kontrak sosial antara pemerintah dengan warga negaranya? Untuk menjawab pertanyaan tersebut, penelitian ini menganalisis manfaat AI dalam pengambilan keputusan dan pelayanan publik di Kemenkominfo RI, menganalisis pemahaman Kemenkominfo RI terhadap isu etika dan kebijakan tentang AI di Indonesia RI, serta menganalisis strategi Kemenkominfo RI dalam menggunakan AI untuk pengambilan keputusan dan pelayanan publik di Indonesia RI. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deksirptif kualitatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara semi terstruktur di Ditjen Aptika Kemenkominfo RI, dan studi dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan implementasi AI dalam hal pengambilan keputusan masih dalam tahap awal dan sangat bergantung pada ketersediaan dan sentralisasi data. Isu etika dan kebijakan AI di Indonesia, adalah di seputar belum mampunya perusahaan dan UMKM lokal untuk bersaing dengan perusahaan besar, dan hambatan belum rampungnya pusat data nasional membuat pemerintah belum dapat mengendalikan sepenuhnya penerapan AI.

Abstract

Community service carried out aims to provide an in-depth understanding between theory and practice regarding the smart village concept. This theme was chosen because villages in West Bandung Regency have the opportunity to realize village governance with the concept of smart village government. However, until now not all villages in West Bandung Regency have realized village governance with the concept of smart village government. This is because most of the village heads in West Bandung Regency are not aware of the strategic position and advantages of the infrastructure they have and the village head's weak understanding of strategies for realizing good governance. The method of implementing community service is done by providing material, lectures, focus group discussions, and evaluations. To make the smart village run optimally, the capacity of the village government is needed. Human resources play an important role in the realization of a smart village, of course, supported by facilities and infrastructure in the village. From the results of this community service, the village government in West Bandung Regency wants to make their village smart. For this reason, village government officials hope that education and training related to smart villages are often held.

Abstract

The natural conditions of West Bandung Regency have quite interesting potential in the West Java region, it is proven that there are many tourist attractions that attract the attention of visitors every day, both domestic and foreign tourists. However, this tourism potential still requires more optimal management and promotion, especially for several villages or sub-districts whose tourist attractions have not yet been developed by the government or private sector. This condition is supported by local-based economic potential which can certainly support the attractiveness of the growth of village tourism. However, tourism management and promotion have not been handled professionally. This service activity aims (1) To provide understanding to MSMEs and the tourism sector in West Bandung Regency regarding tourism management and the creative economy in West Bandung Regency. (2) To increase knowledge and understanding for tourism business service entrepreneurs in West Bandung Regency by improving tourism management and the creative economy in West Bandung Regency. The implementation methods used are participatory approach, group approach, individual approach, lecture method, discussion/FGD method. Indicators of activity success can be seen from the level of community participation and the results of pre-tests and post-tests after the activity. The results of the activity show an increase in Tourism managerial capacity in preparing short-term activity plans, including promotional plans in collaboration with schools for tourism education. Creative economy activists have understood collaborative marketing strategies and online sales.
