Abstract

The industrial revolution can bring changes in human lifestyles, from manual to digital trading and ways of working. This will provide Indonesia with opportunities, enormous opportunities, including government organizations that are innovative in fulfilling their mandates and functions. Utilizing developments in information technology, accelerating the promotion of e-government, implementing science and technology public services and implementing other government affairs. The Indonesian government has finally passed Law No. 19 of 2020. Law Number 11 of 2020 concerning Job Creation has changed the licensing paradigm from a permit-based approach to a risk-based approach (RBA). Not without reason, this provision is intended to provide ease and certainty in doing business so as to increase regional competitiveness. This new paradigm places risk as the main consideration in every business activity, thus having implications for changes in the current design of business policies, institutions and service platforms in the central and regional governments. However, at the implementation level in each region, the application of this risk-based licensing model depends on the readiness and subsequent response from each region, especially policies, institutions (organization and human resources) and digital service tools (sarpras, internet networks). Electronically Integrated Business Licensing or Online Single Submission Risk-Based Approach (OSS-RBA) is a business license issued by the OSS-RBA agency on behalf of the Minister, Head of Agency, Governor, or Regent/Mayor to commercial participants through an electronic system. The OSS-RBA was created as a form of reform in the field of commercial licensing, because initially the handling of proposed permits seemed complicated, requiring lengthy bureaucratic procedures and direct visits to relevant agencies.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze how identity-based political parties develop and introduce their existence in the 2024 elections in Indonesia, focusing on the case study of the Ummat Party. Through a descriptive qualitative approach, this study explores campaign strategies and patterns of political communication used by the Ummat Party to attract voter support. The research employs a qualitative approach, focusing on the general principles underlying the manifestation of meaning from social phenomena in society. Findings indicate that identity politics, particularly based on ethnicity and religion, dominate the campaign strategies of political parties, albeit controversially. While successful in garnering voter support, identity politics also generates social and political impacts that require further attention. Implications of identity politics on the political system and national unity are of primary concern, demanding in-depth analysis of the political and social dynamics in Indonesia. This study provides valuable insights into the role of identity politics in the Indonesian electoral context and lays the groundwork for further research on this topic.

Abstract

Thrifting is defined as the consumption of used branded fashion products at a lower price, which is often associated with a person's lifestyle and identity. The purpose of this research is to find out how the role of digital marketing communication and creative content on thrifting goods to attract young people in Indonesia. This research is a qualitative research using literature review method. The results of this study show that the utilization of digital communication in thrifting marketing is done with two media. The use of Instagram as a digital communication tool is done by: (1) uploading product information, (2) means of interactive communication with consumers, (3) use of hashtag features, and (4) marketing communication. The use of e-commerce as a digital communication tool includes: (1) eWOM and (2) live streaming. The existence of social media and e-commerce has a significant impact in increasing awareness and motivation to thrift. Innovative and creative use of digital materials is needed to strengthen brand identity and increase consumer awareness, which in turn will increase sales.

Abstract

This study aims to understand whether Participatory leadership style, motivation and Work Discipline on Employee Performance at PT. Trans Piramyd Balikpapan on purpose and situation, sponsored by software that uses the SPSS version 18 windows, has a significant importance on the performance of the employees of PT. Trans Piramyd Balikpapan is dominant on employee performance partially. Leadership is the ability of a person for the purpose of a group or organization that has been determined. The purpose of this study was to study the presence or absence of the influence of Participatory Leadership style, Motivation and Work Discipline of PT. Trans Piramyd Balikpapan, is maximize by measuring the magnitude of this influence. The method used in this research is to use quantitative data obtained through 86 respondents are samples then processed using statistics then presented in the form of scientific analysis. After collecting data through both questionnaires, field observations using multiple linear regression analysis, where the regression analysis is: Y = 0.316 X1 + 0.343 X2 + 0.222 X3 Participative leadership style variables, motivation and work discipline have no significant effect on employee performance. F-count obtained is = 1.544> F table 0.209. The partially dominant support for the performance of employees of PT. Trans Piramyd Balikpapan is the highest-value work discipline, amounting to 0.042 with a t value of 2.062> 0.178 table values.

Abstract

Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan mengetahui Pengaruh Disiplin Kerja, Motivasi Kerja dan Pengembangan Karier Terhadap Kinerja Persepsi Kinerja Karyawan PT Aerofood Indonesia di Balikpapan. Lokasi penelitian ini di PT Aerofood Indonesia di Balikpapan. Populasi yang digunakan 50 responden. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi linear berganda. Berdasarkan penelitian yang telah dilakukan diperoleh bahwa hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa adanya pengaruh secara simultan dan signifikan antara Disiplin Kerja, Motivasi Kerja dan dan Pengembangan Karier Terhadap Kinerja Persepsi Kinerja Karyawan PT Aerofood Indonesia di Balikpapan. Dan penelitian yang telah dilakukan bahwa hasil penelitian ini menunjukan Pengaruh secara parsial dan signifikan Ada pengaruh positif dan signifikan antara Disiplin Kerja Terhadap Persepsi Kinerja Karyawan. Tidak ada pengaruh positif dan signifikan antara Motivasi Terhadap Persepsi Kinerja Karyawan. Ada pengaruh positif dan signifikan antara Pengembangan Karier Terhadap Persepsi Kinerja Karyawan.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of inclusive education policies for people with intellectual disabilities in Surakarta City. Although inclusive policies have been regulated nationally and regionally, their implementation at the school level still faces challenges in terms of communication, resource readiness, implementer disposition, and bureaucratic structure. This study employed a qualitative descriptive approach, utilizing data collection techniques that included in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis was conducted using the interactive model of Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña. The results indicate that the dissemination of policy information is uneven, with the disability community playing a crucial role as an effective link for communication. Human resources and infrastructure still need to be strengthened, especially in teacher training and administrative access to budget support. Implementer attitudes show diversity, but direct experience accompanying students with disabilities has been shown to foster more substantial commitment. The bureaucratic structure still faces complex coordination and administrative barriers. This study contributes to the field by identifying the strategic role of the community in policy dissemination, non-technical administrative barriers to resource access, and the importance of micro-experiences in strengthening the commitment of inclusive policy implementers.

Abstract

The proliferation of misinformation, disinformation, and Malinformation on social media poses a serious threat to public trust and national security. Social media algorithms, as illustrated in The Social Dilemma, inadvertently amplify false and sensational content, fostering polarization and societal vulnerability. This study aims to analyze the strategy of Indonesia’s National Cyber and Crypto Agency (Badan Siber dan Sandi Negara/BSSN) in addressing information disorder through a participatory digital literacy approach. Its main contribution lies in providing both academic insights and policy recommendations for an ethical, adaptive, and evidence-based model of social cybersecurity governance. This research employed a descriptive qualitative method, combining documentary analysis of The Social Dilemma, a review of official BSSN documents, and an in-depth interview with a BSSN official. The data were processed using thematic coding and triangulated across multiple sources to ensure credibility and validity. The findings reveal that BSSN implements the EMILIE framework, Encouragement, Measurement, Involvement, Literacy, and Empowerment, which strengthens digital literacy, promotes stakeholder engagement, and develops ethical monitoring systems while safeguarding civil rights. This framework has proven effective in raising public awareness and resilience against disinformation, although challenges remain, such as the rapid spread of harmful content, reliance on platform cooperation, and limited institutional resources. In conclusion, participatory and literacy-based approaches to social cybersecurity are essential in countering digital information disorder. BSSN’s strategy demonstrates that fostering multi-stakeholder collaboration and community empowerment can mitigate cyber threats while ensuring ethical and legal protection of citizens.

Abstract

Conflict is one of the problems that occurs when every human, organization, and the social life of the organization. Conflict can be reviewed through the root of existing problems that can be internal or can be external. The science of public administration has the right resolution in dealing with the mechanism of collaborative governance. The literature review approach applied was based on scientific journals published in the database. The database that the authors used were Scopus, Science Direct, and Taylor and Francis Group. The result of this research showed that the implementation of the proposed collaborative governance form of cooperation structure and the policy then is the creation of the community plan making. Furthermore, the types of conflicts resolved by collaborative governance in the 2015-2019 period were the source of conflicts that often occur in that period. Researchers suggested that researching collaborative governance can be developed in government so that it can be implemented in overcoming various public problems.

Abstract

This study explores how the Public Relations Division of Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta, as an Islamic higher education institution, adapts its branding messages on social media to reach and build a positive image among Gene Z. The study focuses on the BHP UMS , internal stakeholders, and an analysis of UMS’s social media content from January 2023 to May 2025. The method employed is a case study with a qualitative descriptive approach. The findings reveal that UMS Public Relations adapts the university’s branding messages through strategies involving content, symbols, language, and formats that align with the characteristics and trends of Gen Z, without neglecting institutional values rooted in Al-Islam and Kemuhammadiyahan. This contributes to UMS’s positive image. These findings have significant implications for strengthening Public Relations’ communication adaptation strategies in university branding toward Gen Z, without disregarding institutional values.

Abstract

The elderly population is an inevitable stage of life that everyone will experience. In Indonesia, the health issues faced by the elderly require the attention and readiness of society, experts, and the government. This research aims to analyze the level of social engagement in the success of the elderly Posyandu program in Indonesia. Qualitative and library research methods are employed. The narrative method is used to analyze the literature, with secondary data collected from databases such as Scientific Direct and Scholar. Results: Initially, 2700 research studies and articles were identified from the databases. After screening for publication year, duplicate titles, and abstracts, 10 research studies were selected. The criteria for the articles or journals focused on social engagement, elderly, and healthcare services. The findings of the research highlight three main points: (1) supporting factors in implementing the elderly Posyandu program, such as community outreach and ensuring adequate facilities, (2) involvement of various services including preventive, curative, rehabilitative, and promotive programs, and (3) the importance of social engagement, which involves active participation of the elderly and receiving emotional and social support from family and the community. Social engagement programs for elderly Posyandu in major cities have shown positive outcomes. Active involvement of the elderly, support from family and the community, improved accessibility, information and education, and emotional support are key factors contributing to the program's success. Based on these successful outcomes, this study recommends the participation of Posyandu in social engagement program activities in other major cities.
