Abstract

This research aim to develop the attempt peripheral conception the effective giration for the study of middlephysics at school and university. Research approach used by research and development method (R&D).Product from this research is consisted of by two component, namely rotation table and operation guidance.Effectivity of peripheral experiment developed in this research is evaluated from two aspect, namely validityand practicality. Indicator for the examination of validity is contains validity, empirical validity andconstruct validity. For practicality test, the component of evaluations is empirical practicality and studentopinion in a test-drive limited by entangling student of SMA.Technique analyse the data used in this researchis descriptive analysis. Pursuant to gathering result and analyse the data, obtained by picture that attemptperipheral developed in this research own the very high effectiveness to nine of attempt items and higheffectiveness to three attempt items. Thereby, attempt peripheral developed in this research can be expressedcompetent to be used in high school and university, especially to nine attempt item identified.

Abstract

The purpose of this research has described learning result of physics science skill process byapplying kontextual learning. The subject of this research is 25 students of SMAN 1 PangkalanLesung. Data is collected by giving the applicative process test after finishing the subject. Dataanalysis showed that abortive power is with good category, learning effectiveness can becaregorized in effective, but completeness of students learns is not complete. So, the kontextuallearning is clafified effective for science process skill achievment of second year students at SMAN1 Pangkalan Lesung.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan perangkat percobaan momeninersia dan keseimbangan benda tegar. Dengan adanya perangkat percobaan ini diharapkandapat mendukung kegiatan pembelajaran fisika di SMA. Metode penelitian ini adalah metodepenelitian pengembangan atau R&D (research and developement). Validitas dan praktikalitasperangkat percobaan menggunakan validitas isi dan uji empirik. Hasil penelitian inimenunjukkan bahwa perangkat percobaan momen inersia dan keseimbangan benda tegartelah berhasil dikembangkan dengan validitas dan praktikalitas perangkat berada padakategori sangat tinggi, sehingga perangkat percobaan ini dinyatakan sesuai digunakan dalampembelajaran fisika di SMA. Namun demikian, perangkat percobaan ini tidak sesuaidigunakan untuk pengukuran teknis karena akurasinya masih rendah.

Abstract

Abstract: The study was aimed to describe students' scientific attitudes on science learning in class VII. This study was conducted at SMP Negeri 13 Pekanbaru in April 2018 to December 2018. The subjects in this study was seventh grade students of Pekanbaru Public Middle School 13 semester 2017/2018 academic year. The type of research used was descriptive research with survey methods, types of content analysis or documents. The data analysis technique used was descriptive analysis. The results of the data analysis showed students’scientific attitude in sufficient categories with a percentage of 57.14%, in the good category of 28.57% and in the excellent category 14.28%, while for the 2nd meeting scientific attitudes of students in the good category amounted to 85.71% and the category was very good amounting to 14.28%, overall the scientific attitudes of students in first meeting with an average score of 2.2 in the category which increased enough at the 2nd meeting with a score of 2.8 in the good category. Based on data analysis it can be concluded that overall the scientific attitude of students in science learning is in a good category.Key Words: Science Learning, Scientific Approach, Scientific Attitude

Abstract

Abstract : This study aims to describe how the students' problem solving skills through the implementation of the model SOLO (the structure of the observed learning outcomes) in physics learning in class XI traffic Interest Physics SMAN 12 Pekanbaru. This research was conducted at SMAN 12 Pekanbaru in November until January 2016 using One shot chase study design. Subjects consisted of 38 students consisting of 15 male students and 23 female students. Data was collected by giving the test description about 5 question in the end of the study with the implementation of SOLO. From the results of the research showed that the student's skills in solving problems is very low category with an average score of 63. The skills of students at the stage of understanding the problem is the very high category with an average score of 90. The skills of students in the planning stages of problem solving are the very low category with an average score of 56. The skills of students at the stage of implementing the settlement of the problem is the very low category with an average score of 65. And the skills of students on stage to re-examine the solution in the category are very low with an average score at 41. It can be concluded that the learning model SOLO ineffective to train problem-solving skills in learning physics class XI traffic interest Physics SMAN 12 Pekanbaru.Key Words : Physics, Problem Solving Skills, SOLO Model

Abstract

Abstrack: This research has various aim among of them, to know the potential of physics learning in electromagnetic induction subject, to identify the constraint of teachers and students in experimental implementation, to look the perception of teachers and students for effective and efficient of experimental equipment and analyzing constraint and perception of students and teachers to design the valid and practice experimental equipment. The research using literature and field study in Research and Development (R&D) method. In collected data through questionnaire and interview, researcher did it for nine of physics teachers and fifty students derive from senior high school in Pekanbaru. Based on document had been analyzed, researcher get conclude ~ applying the electromagnetic induction subject through experimental method is important in physics concept. In fact this method apply rarely, it is impact of any factor like: limited time, limited experimental equipment, full content of the matter and there are no skillful laboratory assistant. In interview teachers and students said the criteria of equipment that they need such as complete, equate real, new, representative, simple, easy to understand, safely, attractive, effective and efficient according to quantity and quality equipment of electromagnetic induction.Key Words: Constraint of physics experiment implementation, electromagnetic induction equipment, physics learning media.

Abstract

Abstract: The purposed of this reserach and development study is to produce an experiment’s device of gas calorimeter as a physics learning media of senior high school students. This device consist of the tool kit and user manual. There were 5 expert in physics learning have been participated in the validity process of this research. The research found that the gas calorimeter tool kit and user manual has a good criteria as physics learning media.Keywords: Design and Validation, Research and Development, Gas Calorimeter tool kit.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to describe the cognitive learning outcomes of students and find out the differences in cognitive learning outcomes of Class X students of SMA 3 Mandau using Edmodo online learning media and conventional learning on physics material momentum and impulses. The type of research used is quasi-experimental and research design is intact group comparison. The research subjects were class X students of SMA 3 Mandau Academic Year 2018/2019 which amounted to 72 students. The research data is learning outcomes data, consisting of post-test scores through the use of Edmodo online learning media. Data were analyzed descriptively and inferentially to see how students' learning outcomes improved after using Edmodo online learning media. The results of the analysis of the data obtained were, the absorption rate of the experimental class was higher than the absorption rate of the control class with the absorption score of the experimental class average of 81,66 and the absorption rate of the control class average 70,92. The effectiveness of learning refers to the average absorptive score of each class with an experimental class score of 81.66 belong to the effective category and the control class 70.92 belong to the effective category. Based on the hypothesis test carried out obtained a significance value (sig.2-tailed) 0.000 <0.05 so that it can be concluded that there are significant differences between the cognitive learning outcomes of students after using Edmodo online learning media and conventional learning.Key Words : Edmodo, Learning Outcomes, Momentum and Impulse.

Abstract

Abstract: The study aims to determine the practicalities of product resulting from the research design and validation devices fluid dynamic experiment that has been done before. The approach used in this study is research and development (R&D). Data was collected through the practicality questionnaire and observation sheet. Respondents of this research were from student , teacher as an observer while student tested produk. The data of instrument were analyzed usingMs. Excel. The value of the practicalities of the experimenti by students is 3.55 and observer value practicalities of the experiment by teachers is 3.54, while the value of the practicalities of the use of guide books by teachers is 3.51 and the value of the practicalities of the use of guide books by students is 3.38. The results of this research indicate that experimental device given ease in studying dynamic fluid, so the device experimental and guide book also practical used student.Keywords: Practicality, experiment device of dynamic fluid

Abstract

Abstrak: The purpose of this research is to describe students’ learning result by using learning active strategy of Rolled. The type of this research was a pre- experimental research, with design of Intact- Group Comparison. The populations of this research were seven grade students of junior high school 40 Pekanbaru which total number were 176 students. The writer took 2 classes as the sample by using random-sampling technique which was using lottery to decide control class and experimental class. The data on this research is in form of students’ scores taught by using learning active strategy of Rolled and it is analyzed on descriptive and inferential. The result of the research shows that there is a difference on students’ learning achievement between experimental class and control class. Students’ comprehension taught by using learning active strategy of Rolled was 72, 16 % and students’ comprehension taught by using conventional strategy was 61, 14%.  Based on the data, can be concludes that learning active strategy of Rolled  improves students learning result in  physics on science at the seven grade students’ of junior high school 40 Pekanbaru.
